Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm sighed. She really was like Appleleaf and Snowair when they used to badger him every day. "Just," he said when she finally settled back down in her nest, "Just tell me next time when you're going to storm out of here. The cobwebs don't stay on if you are too active. And please rest after this. You really need it."
Lillyheart
"Fine" she growls
Sleetstorm
"Good. Again, if you need me, though by your attitude, you certainly won't, I'll be right here sorting herbs," he replied, thankful that she didn't protest this time. If everyone just listened to him, they'd be out of the den in no time and healed as best as they could. He turned around and leaned over the half-finished watermint pile and went back to sorting.
Lillyheart
She goes back to sleep
Sleetstorm
There were a few bad watermint leaves and he pushed them into the bad yarrrow pile. He'd have to take those and have them thrown out. Once that was done, he moved onto the buck root that didn't need much attention. He got those sorted out pretty quickly with one looking rather wilted. The chervil and webs were fine because they were recently stocked and the webs never went bad.
Lillyheart
She Fidgets in her sleep
Sleetstorm
All of the other herbs looked alright except for the comfrey where he had to throw out most of the pile much to his distaste. He'd have to gather more once he redressed Willowshard's wounds. He hoped that she would recover quickly and had thanked StarClan for not giving her infections. Fox attacks were nasty. And he did thank StarClan for not giving Lillyheart a broken back. That was something he never wished upon anyone.
Lillyheart
She fidgets more
Sleetstorm
He perked his ears, hearing something from Lillyheart's nest. He craned his neck so he could see her since it didn't sound like she was eating the rabbit anymore. She appeared to be fast asleep and twitching in her nest. Must be a bad dream. He didn't have any herbs for those.
Lillyheart
She growls and it appears she is fighting something in her sleep
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm frowned. A really bad dream. There was nothing he could do except ignore his own policy and wake her up. Though if he were some warrior like he was before, he'd most likely do it and leap out of the way before whatever she was doing in that dream flashed into reality for one brief moment and clawed his pelt. Though this was better than running around camp. He turned his attention back to his herbs but listened carefully.
Lillyheart
"Get away, get away. Stop trying to overpower me!" She whispers in her sleep
Sleetstorm
His frown deepened as he turned his attention away from his herbs again. A cold feeling pricked along his spine, causing his pupils to contract. What was going on? She couldn't be training with the Dark Forest, could she? She couldn't. But Jaypaw recently passed away due to her injuries caused by those terrible warriors. And those warriors were some held responsible for his sister's... he shook his head, hurt in his heart. They did kill her... but then the Clan lied to him. But he couldn't think about that now.
Lillyheart
She jolts awake panting
Sleetstorm
"You alright?" He asked for what felt like the fifth time with her. He regarded her with wary eyes. "Some dream you were having." He really hoped that she wouldn't say it wasn't a dream and she was actually fighting dark warriors. He flicked an ear to discard a leaf that had gotten on there from sorting herbs.
Lillyheart
She doesn't answer and her eyes widen
Sleetstorm
"Uh... are you feeling okay? What's wrong?" he asked, disturbed by the lack of response. "Do you need anything?" He glanced back at the herbs lining the edge of the den and back to her.
Lillyheart
" I knew I shouldn't have taken the poppy seeds, if I sleep to deeply this happens" she murmmers
Sleetstorm
"Really? I've never known poppy seeds to do that," Sleetstorm replied skeptically, discarding some of the Dark Forest theory he had. "And what happens? You seem to be having bad dreams. What are they about, if you don't mind me asking?"
Lillyheart
" i-i have to fight battles that I can't win, and they try to overpower me every time, they try to kill me sometimes they try to put themselves into me"
Sleetstorm
The theory of her training in the Dark Forest intruded his mind again, which clouded it. Listening to her explain it sounded rather like experience there. He never got one of those "you're qualified to be an evil cat" invitations to join in on their "fun" and he was glad he never did. It was a terrible place from what he learned during his meetings with StarClan. "The Dark Forest?" He asked in a hollow voice.
Lillyheart
" no, they are more powerful than the dark forest"
Sparrowsky
Sparrowsky sat down in the clearing, not straying too far from her current location. She was rather tired and when she looked up at the sky, a reddish tint painted one side of the clouds. At least night would be upon them soon so she'd have a valid excuse to catch some sleep.
Appleleaf
Appleleaf Yawned slowly Waking up from her short nap. Her legs ached a little from running before
Sparrowsky
The long-legged she-cat flicked her tail, wondering how much longer it would be until the sun fully set. The days were getting longer even if they were lengthened by a few minutes or so. But at least they didn't interfere with her sleep schedule.
Appleleaf
Appleleaf Stretched standing up.
Sparrowsky
She caught sight of a black pelt moving in the corner of her eye. Sparrowsky turned her head to see one of her Clanmates. One who rushed into the medicine den. Sparrowsky didn't want to be nosy, but she wondered why they had rushed the Siamese into there.
Appleleaf
Appleleaf walked away from the med den Walking to Clearing
Sparrowsky
"Hello," Sparrowsky called at the warrior once she was walking farther into the clearing. She really was curious and wanted to make sure the injured cat was okay now.
Appleleaf
Appleleaf Paused and turned Towards the She-cat "Hello?"
Sparrowsky
"Hey!" she smiled, oblivious as to if the situation was awkward at this point. She stood up and took a few steps to the warrior but not too far away from Spirikit. "I saw that there was an injured cat. What happened?"
Appleleaf
Appleleaf Nodded "Yes, A log had Fallen on to her"
Sparrowsky
"Oh," Sparrowsky winced at the explanation. "That ought to hurt badly. Are they okay now?"
Appleleaf
Appleleaf lowered her head "I hope so, From what I saw it didn't look terrible"
Sparrowsky
"Well, that's good to hear," she nodded, looking thoughtful. "I hope it'll be a speedy recovery. If it wasn't too bad, she'd be out before Willowshard is. She still has some nasty gashes."
Appleleaf
Appleleaf Nodded "Yeah.. but at least willowshard is getting better"
Spiritkit
Spiritkit was sat outside the medicine den, staring at it. He could just about see through the entrance. The tiger-like tom huffed softly
Sparrowsky
"Yeah. I'm glad about that," Sparrowsky nodded truthfully. "I hope she can get out of the medicine den soon. I think she misses her duties."
Spiritkit
The kit growled and waited for something to happen. He at least wanted to see his mother
Appleleaf
"I agree. I hope that nothing like that happens again"
Sparrowsky
Sparrowsky nodded and glanced at the medicine den where Spiritkit was. She really did want Willowshard to feel better. Not only was she her friend but Spiritkit missed her dearly.
Spiritkit
He huffed and laid down, his tail thumping against the ground softly
Spiritkit
Spiritkit huffed and laid down. His tail tapped the earth
Sparrowsky
Sparrowsky gave a quick apologetic look to Appleleaf for leaving and padded in the direction of Spiritkit, who seemed to have moved from where she had left him.
Spiritkit
The tom looked up at her and stared
Sparrowsky
"Hey," she purred, sitting down beside the kit. "How's it going, bud?" She looked down at him, giving out a kind smile.
Spiritkit
"I'm n-not allowed i-i-in and she's not a-a-a-" Spiritkit hissed "A-allowed out." He growled
Sparrowsky
"I'm sure you'd be allowed in soon. I think she needs some rest. Then you can spend as much time as you'd want with her," Sparrowsky replied, pity flashing in her eyes.
Spiritkit
Spiritkit snarled "I h-h-hate my s-stu-stutter."
Sparrowsky
"I shouldn't worry about that," she said in a calm and reassuring voice, "I think it's fine if you have a stutter. And you'll grow out of it. I knew some cats who did."
Spiritkit
"A-and what I-if I d-d-don't?" He asked her, his eyes flashing
Sparrowsky
Sparrowsky shrugged, "Well, life goes on. I'm dead clumsy and I can't do anything about it. And I'm still here and walking."
Spiritkit
"Y-y-your walking doesn't a-a-af-" The ginger and black kitten yowled in fury "A-affect your t-t-talking!"
Sparrowsky
She gave him a sympathetic look. "Hey. If you don't like talking then that's perfect for hunting. Because who talks when they hunt? Then I walk around and I trip over every single stick."
Spiritkit
He scoffed and didn't say anything for a bit before he came out with "W-why is l-l-life so cruel!"
Sparrowsky
She didn't know how to answer that. She frowned and looked away from the distressed kit to the medicine den. She could probably bring Spiritkit in to see his mom.
Spiritkit
The kit lashed his tail and walked away from the medicine den. He stared outside of the camp and then back at his clanmates.
Brightfish
Brightfish glanced at her and shook her head "You don't have to."
Velvetheart
Velvetheart shrugged. "I don't see why not after that" she smirked.
Brightfish
The white and ginger cat flicked her ears and waited for her to say something
Velvetheart
Velvetheart shrugged it off and sighed. "Let's get back to camp then, I'm starving"
Brightfish
She nodded softly and stood up slowly. The she-cat sighed and glanced back at the grave "Hang on." Brightfish said and picked up a feather cluster before gently sprinkling them on the soil
Creampelt
Creampelt woke up, then felt a real sharp stab of pain and yowled in pain for a short bit
Sparrowsky
Sparrowsky watched him sadly. She really wanted to help the kit but had no idea how to. Perhaps she could smuggle him into the medicine den and allow him to check in with his mother. She surely was well enough for that.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang looked over her shoulder, wishing she hadn't yelled that much at Widowstream. She wanted to control her anger but her temper had been so high nowadays when the stress began building up.
Creampelt
Creampelt picked up an odd scent, and was thinking it was just Sparrowsky's scent, then layed her head back down and started having deep heavy breathing
Spiritkit
Spiritkit took a step towards the exit of the camp before drawing away sadly
Creampelt
Creampelt starts yowling in pain loudly
-She already kitted so....-
Sparrowsky
"Spiritkit," she meowed reproachfully, standing up and glancing at the medicine den. She padded up to him, her eyes searching him. "Let's just check in with Willowshard. I'll allow it and that's good enough. Let's go." She faced away from the kit to glance back at the den.
Spiritkit
"She'll shout at me again.'' He said. Willowshard only wanted to protect him but she had shouted at him accidentally last time he went inside
Sparrowsky
"I'll be there so she won't shout," she meowed, thinking that this was uncharacteristically like her to yell at the kit. "I'll be there to watch over you two and make sure she won't yell." She gave a faltering smile at him, though concerned.
Spiritkit
He sighed and stood up reluctantly. The tom slowly padded towards the medicine den and stopped before he went in
Sparrowsky
The long-legged she-cat nodded encouragingly at him and stepped inside, the shaded ground cold to the touch. Hopefully, the moss was warmer. "Hello, Willowshard," she said in a low voice as to not wake her if she was sleeping.
Willowshard
Willowshard looked up, her eyes were red and swollen from either crying or she had had an allergic reaction. She immediately looked away
Spiritkit
Spiritkit didn't walk inside just yet
Sparrowsky
"You alright?" Sparrowsky asked uncertainly, frowning at the look on the queen's face. "You seem pretty upset." She glanced back at Spiritkit.
Willowshard
"No. No I'm fine." She lied and still didn't look up
