THE LAKE

mike did get to finally be surprised by his friend, but it was when mike's parents had also come home because will was not looking forward to trying to sneak back in and then hear sounds of the bed creaking and horrible loud moaning coming from mike's incredibly loud girlfriend.
"why didn't you come before we came?" karen had asked will once she parked the car and saw will come up to her.
will could easily tell the truth and say "your son was fucking his girlfriend." but will was a good friend and would never rat mike out like that.
"oh well i didn't want to just barge in unexpectedly." will lied. karen nodded, understanding. "well come in with me, mike will definitely be surprised." karen told him.
so karen and will walked up to the door and karen rung it. it wasn't long before mike opened it, his eyes immediately widening and his mouth opening when he saw his best friend.
"byers!!" she shouted loudly, giving will a big and tight hug. will laughed and hugged him back tightly. karen watched the two in awe, she knew how close will and mike were and how devastated mike was when will had to move. "dude!" mike shouted pulling away, "i- how did- what?!" mike said. will was smiling, "i know!" will said, "i drove hours to get here, man." will said. as he spoke he saw someone appear from behind mike. it was a girl, will knew it must've been mikes girlfriend.
it was weird.
if you were to look at her, you would think she is completely, totally, 100% innocent. which will has come to find out, she most definitely is not.
"i can't believe you drove all this way for me man!" mike said, feeling like he was literally about to cry, "fuck you're gonna make me cry." mike said. "hey, language." karen said sternly. mike looked at his mom, "sorry." he said.
then mike noticed el beside him. "oh!" mike said, "will this is el and el this is will." he introduces. "oh will!" el says as if she's figured something out, "mike has told me so much about you." she says putting her hand out. will smiles, "well mike has been biting my ear off talking about you as well." he tells her and el laughs.
"what are you two doing?" mike asked, "come in!" he said.
now mike, will and el were sitting in mikes room, discussing plans for tomorrow.
"el and i were gonna go swimming at the lake tomorrow, it'd be great if you came." mike told will. "i don't have any swim trunks." will told them. "duh, that's why i'm gonna give you one of mine." mike said. will smiled, nodding, "okay," he said, "swimming sounds like fun, haven't went at all this summer." will says.
"us either, we just arranged it a couple hours ago." el told him.
was that before or after yall had sex on this bed that i am sitting on?
"dude, it sucks that you're only here for two days, i wish you could stay for more." mike tells him. will sighs, "me too. but my mom told me i can't be gone long, it took so much convincing for her to even let me drive over here." he said, looking between mike and el.
"well we're gonna make these two days amazing." mike told him.

the next day, they all went to the lake. there was literally no one there in this pot they were at. they could see people in the distance, but they weren't close to them at all.
mike brought his camera and he filmed everyone swimming.
well..."everyone" being will and el. yesterday when will had surprised him, after they greeted each other and everything, mike ran up to his room to get his camera, filming will and capturing how excited he was.
"byers came all this way for me!" mike told the camera, "he literally drove hours to come!" he said and then pointed the camera at will who was smiling. will shrugged, "what can i say? i'm kind of the best." he said sarcastically and then let out a small laugh after. "hell yeah you are!" he said.
will smiled, "i just missed you man." he said.
will was here. he was actually here and mike was so happy. he had his girlfriend and his beat friend. can this summer get any better? mike thought.
el got out of the lake and stared to make her way to mike. mike watched her. watching the water drip down her body that was mostly exposed because of the black binki she wore that showed off her amazing body. mike couldn't believe he got so lucky. he had el, el was his. mike knew that so many people would kill to be in his position...to be dating el.
mike is glad he met el before she was pulled into the whole high school popularity circle because if he were out of the picture, there's no doubt in his mind that she'd be hanging out with all the popular kids. mike knew el had no idea. she had no idea just how popular she was, just how fucking hot she was.
mike turned the still recording camera to el as she walked up to him. she laughed as she saw it and waved. "you've been recording this whole time?" she asked as she say down beside him. mike nodded, "even the time you started choking on the water." he told her. el's eyes and mouth opened and she gasped, "you better delete that!" she said. mike laughed, "hey! we're all about realism in this documentary!" he said. el rolled her eyes, "mike i swear to god if i see that in your documentary i will be so pissed." she said, holding back a smile. mike turned off the camera, still laughing.
mike smirked, "you love me." he said. "just because i love you doesn't mean i want everyone to see me inhaling the water like an idiot." she said. mike laughed, "it was an accident!" el said which made mike laugh harder, "hey i never said anything!" he said. el let out a laugh from hearing mikes adorable laughter.
"are you gonna come in?" she asked him. mike had his swim trunks on but he still had his shirt on and hasn't went into the water yet. "yeah." he nodded, "just wanted to get some shots before i do." he said. "well come on," el told him, "i've been waiting for you." she told him, grabbing his hand. mike bit his lip, "okay i'll go in for you, my majesty." he said sarcastically. el smiled, standing up, "well come on then!" she says.
mike stands up, he brings his hands to the back of his shirt and pulls it off in one swift motion, throwing it onto the spot they had set up for themselves. mike jumped in, just wanting to get it over with.
he got up and realized how cold the water was. "you get used to it." will tells him.

they all had fun swimming around and just enjoying their time outside. most people would think that will is being a third wheel but the truth is that el and mike made it seem like they were all just a big group of friends. mike and el would give each other small kisses and hold hands but they weren't acting all mushy around him.
"i'm gonna get out and eat something." will said, "i think i'm starting to get pruny." he told mike and el. they both nodded and watched as will got up and pulled out a bag of chips and started to eat. el swam over to mike and mike smiled at her.
mike grabbed her hand and started to walk farther away. mikes feet could touch the ground here but el's couldn't. as they got further away they got deeper and soon enough, mikes feet were no longer on the ground. mike pulled el closer to him and she wrapped her hands around his neck, smiling.
mike leaned in and kissed her sweetly on the lips. "you having fun?" he asked. el nodded, then she brought her legs and wrapped them around his torso, "it's so fun," she says, "will is so nice." she tells him. mike smiles, "he is." he tells her, "tomorrow, since it's gonna be his last day, him and i are gonna go to the arcade." mike tells her, "is that okay with you? i think it'd be nice for us to spend some guy time with each other." he asked.
el nods, "of course." she says, "go have fun, it's his last day here." she tells him, her hands still wrapped around the back of his neck. mike smiles at his girlfriend, "i love you." he says and he means it. he loves her, he is so in love with her it's kind of scary. mike loves everything about her. unlike every other guy at school, it's not just about her looks for mike, though that is a huge plus. he's in love with her soul, as dumb as that sounds...he loves her humor, her kindness, her determinedness and just every single thing about this girl he loves.
"i love you more." she tells him. mike shakes his head, bringing his hands and putting them under her thighs, lifting her up slightly, "el no offense, but i think that is literally impossible." he tells her. before she can speak, he brings his lips to hers and kissing her. he's planning on having this be a long, innocent kiss.
but el has less innocent things in mind as she slips her tongue into his mouth.
mike doesn't resist it. he doesn't care if will sees them making out, which he probably could see them if he just looked to the right side of the lake and went a little closer to the water. nonetheless, mike kisses her back, giving the back if her thighs a small squeeze.
el's legs that were still wrapped around mike tightened as she felt him grip her thighs. their kiss was slow and firm at first but as they both started to let their hormones get the best of them, it soon became fast and sloppy.
mike was surprised when he felt el break their kiss and go down to his neck. she broke the kiss so quickly it startled him, kinda. mike started breathing harder, "el." he said. but el didn't listen, she continued to kiss and suck on his neck, her fingers playing with the tips of his hair behind his neck. "el...baby." mike said again.
"hm?" el finally answered, her mouth still not leaving his skin. "as good as this feels..." mike got out, it was a little hard to speak when you have the most gorgeous girl sucking on your skin, "we can't go back to will with hickeys all over." he said.
that made el pull away from him, she looked at his neck. "a little too late." she told him, "sorry, mike." el apologized. mike sighed, he really didn't want to deal with the possible teasing that could come. "it's okay." he truthfully told her. truthfully he didn't mind, he could deal with the teasing. "you know..." el trailed off, "you could leave some on me." she said, "for payback of course." she said.
mike laughed, "oh for payback?" he said, his hands still on the bottom of her thighs. el tried to hide her smile, "or you could leave some where he can't see." el said, "if you know what i mean." she tells him, wiggling her eyebrows dramatically. mike can't help but laugh at how adorable she is being saying something like that.
"well..." mike trailed off, "how this for payback?" he said, taking his hands off of els thighs and threw water straight into her face with his palms. el's eyes closed as the water splashed over her face, "mike!" she said, her legs freeing themselves from being wrapped around him. mike laughed, "payback." he simply said. "you're such a jerk." el said, desperately trying to hold in her laughter but failing miserably. "hey! you said i could have payback." he defended, still smiling.
el and mike both stood there, splashing water at each other before el started to swim away from him and mike tried to catch her. they made their way back to will and will did make a comment about mikes hickey.
"damn, i leave you two alone for ten minutes and your hormones already acting up?" he said.
they stayed there until the sun started to go down and then they went into mikes parents car and went home.
best summer ever, mike thought.
