[ as logan put it,,,, the 'gay 1950s men' au ]
The underground club was one of the only places that Lewis felt safe anymore. Here, he could be himself, without fear of his father finding out.
Of course, having Logan right there with him helped too. Logan felt the way home should feel, and Lewis liked him even more than that. (He would say love, but they honestly hadn't known each other for that long, and he didn't want to assume the other man felt the same.)
That night, Lewis turned down Ronnie's offer of makeup, content with just being purely himself- not putting on a different persona, no matter how thinly veiled it was. Logan kept smiling down at him, and it felt like he was exactly where he belonged.
Softly, he made an excuse to the short blonde woman they were talking to, and pulled Logan a little ways away. The taller of the two looked confused, until Lewis lightly took hold of his face. "You keep smiling at me and it's making me realize... I think I'm falling for you."
Logan's eyes shone even in the dim lighting as he let Lewis pull him down for a kiss. After they pulled apart, he said, "I think I'm falling for you too."

[ and this one is like,,, affair days?? ]
"Hey, have you seen my green hoodie?" Lewis asked, peeking into the green room where Logan was waiting on him. He'd been getting changed after the show when he realized that his favorite jacket had gone missing.
Logan looked up from his phone. "If it's not with your clothes, then maybe Jon ended up with it again. You two swap clothes so much it isn't funny."
"Can you try to find it, please? I need something to cover my arms- All my other long-sleeves and hoodies need washed-"
"If it's that important, just borrow one of mine." He shrugged and got up, pulling a long-sleeve shirt from his bag.
When he brought it over to the bathroom door, Lewis took it, but blushed and softly asked, "Won't this be kinda suspicious? Me wearing your shirt?"
"Not if you're just going back to the room like you normally do. Tomorrow's a day off so we can find somewhere to wash your clothes," Logan assured him. "Just put it on, throw one of your t-shirts over it. You'll be fine."
Once he was fully dressed, Lewis left the bathroom and practically fell into the seat beside Logan. His hands curled up inside the sleeves of his borrowed shirt. "I'll see you later?"
"Unless I get too drunk and forget where our room is."
