I walked around in the school looking for Ruby. I knew I should be resting after that intense fight but I couldn't. The knowledge that Ruby might be Red cape dolt...' no what am I saying!? Ruby is her! I just... I just need to confirm it.' then I could mentally slap myself for not noticing it. All the signs were saying that Ruby was Red Cape dolt. The silver eyes and the Red cape. But I kept doubting myself but not this time. I stopped at my track and looked at the hair clip that I had not returned to Ruby. ' ....R.. Ruby... ' I hugged it close to my chest. 'RUBY! '
I continued to walk, turning a few corners and finally found Ruby. She was standing in the hall of fame. Roles of best teams and studnets faces on the walls. She was currently looking at the wall of every winners of the combat tournament. I walked slowly behind her so she won't notice me. From behind Ruby, I saw our picture on the wall. I smiled at that picture. It was a proof that we won the tournament. Ruby then was brushing her finger tips on another picture. My eyes widen when I saw what picture her finger was on. It was Summer Rose's team, Ruby's mother. I didn't know Ruby's mother entered beacon academy. ' so much a fan...'
Ruby:" .... Mom. I did. Or to be exact we did it. We won. I'm one step closer on following your steps. I hope you were watching us fight in heaven. I hope you feel proud of us. To be honest we couldn't have won if it wasn't for Weiss. Weiss the girl I have been talking to you about.She was great! More than great! She defeated Pyhrra Nikos. That was more then great. And because of that we won. And that's why my team picture is here on this wall with you. "
" .... You know it's not just me, Ruby "
Ruby jumpped and raised her hands to defend herself but when she saw it was me she put down her hands. She sighed with relief.
Ruby:" Weiss! You scared me... Um... How much have you heard?"
" Everything. Ruby if it wasn't for your leadership we won't advance to the next round. If I remember correctly you were the first person to defeat your opponent and you came over to us to lead us on defeating the rest of the opponents. You are the one backing me up when I have difficulty fighting Neptune. You helped and supported me during my training of my summoing skills that I never thought I could do it. That's why we won. "
Ruby looked away blushing rubbing the red tip of her black hair. She always does that if she was embarrassed or nervoused. Ruby cleared her throat before speaking.
Ruby:" who are you and what have you done to my princess. Normally you would take some credit but you giving me them all like you didn't do anything. Weiss Schnee, the biggest credit is on my team mates. Even if I have great leadership skills but If I don't have reliable team mates we won't do so well. I know it take alot to trust me and my leadership skills but I'm glad you did. "
" I'm glad I did Ruby..."
Then there was awkward silences. We both didn't know what to say after that talk. After a while I decided to speak up as I suddenly remember why I even looking for Ruby in the first place.
" Ruby I want to give you this back. "
I passed her the hair clip and her eyes sparked with joy as she took it back. She looked at it carefully, checking for any scratches. ' it must be really important to her... Is my gift that important? '
Ruby:" thanks Weiss!"

Ruby:" yes... Like I say before. This was my last gift from my childhood friend before she left me forever....to be honest, I came to beacon academy for three reasons. One,to follow my mother's foot step to be the best huntress and musician who spread joy while protecting people in need. Two, Yang is attending it. And Three most importantly is to keep the promise that i make together with my childhood friend Which is to go to the best- "

Ruby stared at me with shock and confused while I stood there dumbfounded at what I just said.

I brough my fist up with only my pinky out.
" that if we would ever leave each other. We would go to the best academy in the four kingdoms which is beacon academy..... To see each other again..."
Ruby stared at my pinky then at me.
She covered her mouth as her tears on her eyes were on the verge of coming out.
"Till this day... I couldn't remember her name... Because I always address her as.... Red cape dolt... "
I looked at Ruby's reaction carefully. Once I mention that name she just stared at me. I looked left and right, nervously waiting for her reply. 'does she not know this name? Maybe Ruby is not...her... If so...Why did I keep hoping it was her ?' Ruby then lifted up her fist with her pinky out. My heart skipped a beat.
Ruby:" ... Only Snow princess angel called me that... That means... You are my princess... "
She wrapped her pinky around mine, smiling goofy with tears flowing. Without me knowing my tears have flow too. We intertwined our fingers and placed our foreheads together, till have our pinky wrap together.
Ruby:" hey Snow princess angel. It been awhile.. I... Thought I will never see you again..."
"....I.... I thought you have forgotten about me and our promise Red cape dolt."
Ruby:"You dolt. How would I? I think of you every day. There wasn't a day I didn't think of you. I missed you so much Snow princess angel."
"... H... Hey that's my line you dolt."
We pulled back from each other and unwinded our pinky but our hands didn't unwind. I flicked her forehead hard. Ruby used her free hand and rubbed the spot that I flicked.
Ruby :" WHYYYYYY "
" why did we not just called my our names all the time that will be much easier to fine each other. "
Ruby:" well Blake and Yang. Know each other name and still forget them. But they do remember they nicknames. "
" ... True... "
Ruby placed her hand on my cheek softly and brushed my scar lightly as I played with her red cape. Icey blue met sliver. We stared into each other eyes for awhile before Ruby slowly leaned forward and without me knowing I leaned towards to Ruby. We closed our eyes and our lips brushed each other lightly before we snapped our eyes wide open realising what we were doing. We pulled back from each other suddenly covering both our mouth. ' W.. W... W... What were we doing to do. Oh my god did I actually wanna kissed her!?!??!?? Weiss schnee you are not gay and you have a major crush on Neptune!'
Ruby:" W... Well that was something! "
" Y.. Yeah... "
Ruby:" W.... We should go back before Yang and Blake worried about us. "
I nodded. Ruby steached her hand out.
Ruby:" lead me back? Snow princess angel? "
" you dolt you clearly know the way back. "
Ruby:" whoops looked like I got caught. but Can't I hold your hand, Princess? "
" Of course you can. "
I took her hand and we walked back to our dorm smiling happily.' Finally I found you Red cape dolt. '
*Ruby pov*
I walked to the hall of fame without looking at the map. This was the second place I didn't have to use the map or being guilded by anyone as I had come here almost everyday. Tonight, I wanted to talk to mom. Since I couldn't visit mom's grave her picture was fine. My eyes widen when I saw our team on the wall for combat tournament. I was acutally surpired that they have paste us here already
I wanted to take out the hair clip when I suddenly remeber that I lended it to Weiss. I smiled to myself. ' thank you snow angel princess for protecting my princess... ' I suddenly recalled something Weiss said during the match.
Weiss:"... This was given by some really important to me thus I cherish it alot. I didn't care if it was a piece of scrap metal it is important to me. Thank god you scratch it or I will have to break your legs. "
I blushed. I didn't know I was that important to Weiss. It was as if we have been friends for years. I sighed with sadness when snow princess angel popped out from my mind. Her beatiful smile, her pale white skin like Snow White, warm icey blue eyes and her long white silky hair... ' .... Wait why am I describing Weiss???? I should hurried talked to mom before curfew. '
I brushed my fingers on my mom's team, Team STRQ dad and uncle Qrow and Yang's mom were in it.

'did she called her childhood friend Red cape dolt...? ' suddenly the blurry image of Snow princess angel became clear as day. Younger verison of Weiss without the scar smiled at me.
Weiss:" I promise I will go to the best academy in the four kingdoms which is beacon academy and see you again. Red cape dolt."
I brough out my fist with my pinky out '.... I found her I finally did... All this time she was in front of my face. Sleeping under my bed. Studying with me. Training with me. Hanging out with me. My princess is acutally snow princess angel. '
" ... Only Snow princess angel called me that... That means... You are my princess... "
I wrappdd my pinky around her, smiling goofy as my tears were flowing. I was not crying because i was sad. I was crying because I was over joy. Weiss cried as well. We didn't need words to tell us that we have found each other. After 8 Years we finally found each other. We intertwined our fingers and placed our foreheads together, till having our pinky wrapped together.
" hey Snow princess angel. It been awhile.. I... Thought I will never see you again..."
Weiss:"....I.... I thought you have forgotten about me and our promise Red cape dolt."
I looked at teary face Weiss as she said that and screamed inside my head ' OH MY GOD WEISS IS SO CUTE! ' she was like a child, so adorable and here I thought I was the adorable one!

An: ah what a beatiful white rose moment. Sorry to upset you guys they didn't kissed. Brushed only. So not a real kiss.
I decided to write in both pov because it's a really important moment for them so it would be interesting what people are thinking at that time. Now the problem is Weiss clearly can't see that She loved her. Ruby know she does love Weiss but afraid she the peson she loved is the younger version and not the current Weiss. Weiss did change alot from 7 to 17. At first I wanted Ruby to realise that Weiss is snow princess angel then basically the scene will go as I written. I also wanted Ruby to fight Pyhrra but then how Ruby knew Weiss is snow princess angel is a different story and I couldn't think of a idea for that. The hair clip in this case is really useful. Didn't know I might used it at the future chapter when I first think of it. 😁
Anyways. Next chapter is the battle of the bands. Thus the song Team RWBY will be playing "shower". Thank you for your votes on that.
