Duckwing
Duckwing agreed
Ash
Ash stretched. "So, what shall we do?"
Duckwing
"I don't know...walk...hunt?" Duckwing meowed
Ash
"If we hunt we'd have to keep a wary eye on Mouse."
Duckwing
"True." Duckwing meowed
Shadowfang
Shadowfang awoke under a bush. The deputy yawned and stretched. She had fallen asleep again. Shadowfang sniffed the air for any other cats before climbing out of the bush.
Snowclaw
Snowclaw walked out of the Warriors den and looked around
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm sat in the medicine den. He was sorting herbs quietly.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang padded away from the bush she had slept in. She looked around the forest. She had to be careful now, knowing that a few cats knew she was alive. She couldn't bear have the entire clan knowing. She could be looked upon as a traitor.
Snowclaw
Snowclaw didn't know want to do some she when out hunting
Shadowfang
Shadowfang continued walking. She kept glancing back over her shoulder.
Blazeheart
The stocky built feline couldn't keep her fur from standing on end. She couldn't keep her thoughts from running frantically either. Could Redbreeze manage to leave Mossclan without any blood shed? She knew he could fight, and she could too- but against a whole clan? Even if the tom managed to leave, would Darkstar allow him to join Shadeclan? Blazeheart breathed a silent prayer up to Starclan, stopping next to Redbreeze. Her amber gaze was sharp and wary, the scent of Mossclan even stronger and muskier as it radiated from its camp.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang leaped onto a log. She wobbled. Her legs weren't so good at jumping yet.
Shadowfang
She walked along it, trying to keep balance. But the Newleaf damp made the moss slippery.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze peered I tO amp And Finally trotted in, his fur pricking along his spine. The tom glanced at Darkstar's demand slowly padded over, unaware of the cats around him. "Maybe you should wait outside- no... wait-" He turned to Blazeheart. If she stayed outside of Darkstar's den, what would his clanmates do? "You should just follow me." He meowed in a hushed tone, deciding.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze padded inside the leader's den and spoke, "Darkstar?"
Snowair
Snowair awoken from her sleep and saw everything blurry.
Snowair
She blinked a couple times and her vision cleared. she had awoken at the break of dawn and felt the mist air as she stretched outside the warriors den.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart padded close to Redbreeze, unaware that their pelts were nearly brushing. She gazed around the camp, standing taller as she felt many eyes glare at her. She had been in the camp only once before, and it was as she remembered it. When Redbreeze looked at her, she turned her attention back to the tom. Nodding, she followed him into the dark den, her tail lashing back and forth.
Snowair
She wasn't hungry yet so she decided to go.
Snowair
She walked through the forest until she smelled Shadowfang's scent.
Snowair
Snowair tasted the air to smell mouse. She crouched into a hunting position and pounced catching the rodent.
Branchstep
Branchstep was sunning himself in the territory of Lightningclan, his eyes half-closed. Flexing his claws, the abyssinian rolled over to his side, in order to push himself up to his paws. He supposed he should get on to hunting, but just being surrounded by the peace of the forest calmed him.
Snowclaw
snowclaw walked in to camp with nothing
Appleleaf
Appleleaf walk away from the fresh kill pile out with blackcloud and grasspelt
Badgerstripe
*is out hunting*
Badgerstripe
*pounces on it*
Badgerstripe
*kills the vole and brings it back to the camp*
Redbreeze
Redbreeze looked around and realized that Darkstar wasn't in his den. Could he be somewhere else? Or was the leader just a hidden in the thick shadows? His whiskers twitched with uneasiness when it seemed that most of MossClan had their gaze burning into Blazeheart's pelt. He could hear little curious comments, like; "What's she doing here?" Or "She's not supposed to be here!" Followed by a few hisses. Surly it was ok for Blazeheart to come with an escort? Maybe not.
Blazeheart
Her pupils widened as her optics adjusted to the dark light. There was no tom present. Where could Scorchstar be? Ears twitching, the she-cat bared her teeth at a Mossclan tom who was leering at her. The whole situation still made Blazeheart uneasy, but she wasn't losing hope. Just because the warriors disliked her being in the camp, didn't mean she would leave without seeing Redbreeze do what he came back for.
-Twokit is now Twotail-
Twotail
Twotail watched the unfamiliar she cat closely. He kept hidden behind others so his two tails won't be noticed
Redbreeze
Redbreeze turned and stuck his head outside of the den. Perhaps Springpool was present? But as the tom scanned camp, he could not see the deputy. 'Do I need permission to leave? I don't believe they can really force me to do anything. I wasn't very happy here anyways.' Redbreeze kept his words to himself shifting into. More comfortable position. He gaze ran over Twotail and Redbreeze glanced at his paws, "Maybe we should wait...?" He meowed, quiet enough for Blazeheart to hear.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart eventually sat down next to Redbreeze. She curled her tail around her paws, and nodded. "Sure." She agreed, her amber gaze landing on a tom who was studying her. Flicking her tail, she looked away after a moment.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze kept his eyes on his paws, not wanted to look up and see one of his clanmates look at him his betrayal. He shut his eyes and let out a sigh. "Who knows how long it'll be until we see Scorchstar?" He meowed to himself, thinking out loud. Redbreeze finally sat down, though his fur still pricked.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart nodded again, her eyes now becoming distant as she drifted off in thought. She yanked herself back to the present, chastening herself for becoming unaware of her surroundings. Glancing now at Redbreeze, the corners of her mouth tugged down. This had to be difficult for him, something that she had never gone through. She could only imagine what he was feeling at the moment.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze opened his eyes. What could he do except wait? It was getting boring now and he was getting a little hungry. He opened his eyes and glanced up at Blazeheart, "Do you want something to eat? I'm sure it would be fine to spare just one piece of prey. And it's greenleaf!" He purred, feeling less like an intruder. Without an answer, Redbreeze got up and grabbed two mice. He then trotted back to where Blazeheart was sitting at the entrance of Scorchstar's den, ignoring all the irritated glares. He dropped one mouse at her paws and set the other down in front of him.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart was aware of the silence in between them, but she thought it was for the best. She had begun to groom herself, now licking the base of her tail when Redbreeze had asked her, then just walked off. That left her with her mouth open to reply, and then she straightened while he returned. "I appreciate it, but I really don't think I should. I can hunt when we leave Mossclan." She muttered, looking at the mouse, then at the glares of his clanmates.
Snowair
She picked up the mouse and headed for Shadowfang.
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm padded out of the medicine den to the fresh kill pile.
Branchstep
Branchstep yawned, watching Lightningclan wake up with a disinterested gaze.
Snowair
Her scent was coming in closer and Snowair spotted her.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang flicked her ear. She was sitting down beside a tree.
Snowair
Snowair went over to Shadowfang dropping the mouse by her paws. "Here"
Shadowfang
Shadowfang looked down at the mouse and up at Snowair. "Thanks..."
Hookstar
Hookstar padded through the entrance of the camp, an apprentice leading him. The apprentice must have been sent to being the leader back to camp. She ran off, and Hookstar narrowed his eyes at Redbreeze, then at the Shadeclan warrior. He was a mangy tom, with scars and unkempt dark brown fur. His dark eyes flickered as he bounded up to the den entrance. "Just what do you think you are doing?" He snarled at Redbreeze, swatting away the mouse that Blazeheart had kept untouched. "Bringing in a Shadeclan warrior, and offering her prey- explain." He growled as he slunk into his den.
Lionflame
Lionflame woke up. He yawned and walk outside
Redbreeze
Redbreeze flinched as Hookstar swipes away Blazeheart's mouse, and shiver ran through his spine. "I-I'm sorry Hookstar, it's just a little one- and it's greenleaf!" He meowed, puffing out his chest to make himself look a lot less scared then he actually was. Hookstar didn't seem very happy, and Redbreeze knew that the MossClan leader wouldn't let a mouse slip by so easily. It felt like Redbreeze was in a little hole, surrounded by darkness. He could hear Hookstar's voice ringing in his ears.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart flicked her ear as she saw the leader, watching him as he approached the two. She jumped as the prey was swiped away, and bit her lip. "I apologize, but I was not going to eat it." She murmured, standing up. She eyed the tom, then Redbreeze, and stepped further into the den.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze turned his head to Blazeheart and stared. 'I know your trying to make this easy, but don't get yourself in trouble because of it! It was my fault, I offered the mouse to you.' He wanted to say, though the words hung in his throat like a monster on the thunderpath.
Hookstar
Hookstar sat down, narrowing his grey eyes at his warrior. "I'm waiting." He growled, tapping his unsheathed claws against the stone floor. His gaze darted from one cat to the other, examining the silent glances.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze turned his attention back to Hookstar. Had the MossClan Leader really not have heard him? "What I-I said was, hat it was greenleaf and there was plenty of prey." He meowed, letting out a breath he had been holding in. What was Hookstar going to do? Kill him? "I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't thinking..."
Hookstar
Hookstar huffed, lashing his tail. "I know. But why is she here? And what do you need me for." He meowed, his patience decreasing. "If you're here to spy, get out." He spat at Blazeheart, bristling at the thought.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart held Redbreeze's gaze, and winced. Maybe she should just stay quiet for the better. Her attention was snapped back to Hookstar, and her first thought was to defend herself. Holding her tongue, she closed her jaws, attempting to keep a neutral expression so Redbreeze could explain. How could a leader treat their warriors like this? It seemed incredibly harsh.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze squinted, "The truth is, I was wondering if I could leave MossClan and join ShadeClan- I'm not very happy here, Hookstar. I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I left, would you?" He meowed shrinking into himself as the MossClan leader spat at Blazeheart. "S-she's not here to spy, either. I escorted her to I figured it would be alright if she came with me..." Redbreeze fidgeted around where he was, not daring to meet Hookstar's gaze. "Yeah..."
Hookstar
Hookstar growled deeply, rising to his paws. He began to circle the two slowly, glaring at Redbreeze while he finished stammering about. "You're sure I wouldn't mind, hm?" He sneered. "You have grown up in Mossclan. You were fed by us, adopted by us." He stopped in front of the tom. "And you'd like to leave because you aren't happy here?" He scoffed the last sentence. "Now what excuse is that to join that weakling clan? I don't think so."
Redbreeze
Redbreeze stood up, meeting Hookstar's gaze, "Then I'm a weakling!" He meowed, a growl rumbling in his throat. "I think it's best if you had one less 'big' mouth to feed. Don't call ShadeClan weaklings! At least they're kind enough to except cats for who they are, and they are the ones who killed 'BloodStar The Great'! Don't forget that, Hookstar. But let me tell you something..." Redbreeze stepped forward, nose to nose with Hookstar. "...if you plot to destroy ShadeClan, then you plot to destroy me." He meow was quiet enough for the leader to hear.
Hookstar
Hookstar bared his teeth, the two toms so close that their muzzles were an inch apart. He reared back his paw, aiming to slash his muzzle. "Do not speak to me that way!" He roared, bringing his claws down. "So be it." He hissed quietly, responding to his last statement. "You may not belong in Mossclan, but you will stay. I will not let my warriors turn against me." He reared back his paw again.
Blazeheart
Blazeheart's eyes widened, fury boiling within her with what she was witnessing. She stood up, standing beside Redbreeze. At the blow, she winced at the blood spattering to the ground. So badly, the she-cat wanted to leap at the tom, but what good would that do? As he prepared to strike Redbreeze again, she cried, "Stop!"
Redbreeze
Redbreeze let out a hiss of pain and he skidded backward, unbalanced. He shook his head and looked up. Three claw marks were carved into his cheek, blood pooling out. The tom flared up at Hookstar, "It could've been so simple this whole time, I'll just leave myself!" He breathed, panting. Redbreeze looked away from the MossClan leader and turned, padding out of the den. "Let's go Blazeheart," He meowed, trying to ignore the pain. When silence fell over the camp, Redbreeze spoke, "We're not needed here..."
Blazeheart
Blazeheart paused, glaring menacingly at Hookstar. She took a step torwards him, then decided against it, turning around to follow Redbreeze. "Let's go." She agreed softly, padding out of camp with her tail on his shoulder.
Hookstar
Hookstar hissed, not responding. He stepped out on the ledge. "You will pay for this, Redbreeze." He called out, his tail lashing as he watched them leave.
Ivypaw
Ivypaw padded around camp
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm was in the medicine den. He was sorting herbs.
Mouse
Mouse wandered away from Duckwing while she was sleeping and climbed up a tree
Ivypaw
Ivypaw stretched
Snowair
Snowair pushed the mouse with her paw closer to Shadowfang.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang bent down and sniffed it. She waited a moment before taking a bite. She was silent.
Ash
Ash was asleep on top of the stump. His tail covered his nose.
Mouse
The branch Mouse on snapped
Snowair
Snowair cleared her throat. "Ya know... Sleetstorm really misses you."
Shadowfang
Shadowfang nodded. She took another bite.
Snowair
She looked down and fidgeted her paw by gently scraping the dirt. "He's worried why he can't contact you in Starclan."
Shadowfang
"I thought that would come up," she replied, feeling a small twinge of guilt inside of her chest.
Sunrays
Sunrays sat in the clearing gazing up at the beautiful sky
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm padded out of the medicine den and stretched. He yawned widely.
Snowair
She looked up "What are you going to do? He's your brother and he cares for you... I can tell by his expression he doesn't get sleep from this much.."
Shadowfang
"He can worry a little longer," Shadowfang finished her mouse and pushed the remains aside. She was getting stronger now.
Snowair
"Ok, just don't keep him waiting too long. See ya later Shadowfang." she stood up and started walking.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang flicked her ear, but didn't say anything. She got to her paws and padded the other direction.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze didn't reply, and instead padded out of camp. Hookstar only had so many lives, what would he use it for? The MossClan leader's words rang in his ears. 'You will pay for this, Redbreeze.'
Redbreeze
Redbreeze has made it to the end of the border, alongside Blazeheart. "Now it's just up to Darkstar, but she's not like Hookstar, is she?" He glances up at Blazeheart, crossing the border into ShadeClan territory.
Blazeheart
When the pair exited camp, Blazeheart touched her muzzle to Redbreeze's in a gentle, and quick nuzzle. Their walk through Mossclan's territory was silent, but the ginger was comfortable with it. "Darkstar is wise. She isn't anything like Hookstar." She meowed, gratefully stepping back into her territory alongside the tom. Her tail flicked at the sight of blossoms among the bushes, and buds along the branches.
Redbreeze
Ignoring Blazeheart's comforting nuzzle, Redbreeze nodded, "That's good," His voice seemed to be hushed, as if he wasn't allowed to talk. The fur along Redbreeze's spine seemed to prick, 'I feel like someones watching us...' he wanted to say, though there was a lump in his throat the wouldn't go down.
Redbreeze
Redbreeze bounded through ShadeClan territory and at last he stopped as brambles appeared to form the camp. "We're here," He swallowed the lump in his throat, though it took effort. 'It's not like she didn't know that... it's her camp, mousebrain!' He told himself, sighing his claws into the soul beneath him.
Mouse
Mouse screamed as he fell too the ground he got up pelt bleeding
Ivypaw
Ivypaw heard a scream and ran to it
Blazeheart
Her paws thudding against the soft earth, Blazeheart soon found the camp nearing closer and closer as their speed approached. Stopping at the entrance, she nodded, and spoke finally. "Hey. Just remember that cats care for you. Hookstar couldn't have been more wrong back there." She meowed simply, looking at Redbreeze for a moment, not much emotion revealed in her amber eyes. She was still simmering to herself that she hadn't knocked that stupid brute down, but she couldn't change the past, only the future. She would find her revenge eventually. Without another word, she flicked her tail to the tom, and trotted into the camp.
Ivypaw
Ivypaw saw Mouse
Fogpelt
Fogpelt woke up in her den
Ivypaw
Ivypaw is gonna try to do something
Shadowfang
Shadowfang continued to pad through the forest. She kept her ears flat. She jumped at the slightest sound.
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm walked over to the freshkill pile.
Grasspelt
Grasspelt padded to the fkp
Fogpelt
Fogpelt slowly walked out of the den yawning almost falling over
Ivypaw
Ivypaw saw some cobwebs and grabbed them she ran to Mouse and placed them on his wounds "Uh that should have to do for now!" She picked up the kit and ran to camp and bolted into the med den
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm grabbed a mouse. He then padded over to his den. He sat down just outside of it and began to eat.
Ivypaw
"Sleetstorm!" Ivypaw meowed
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm jumped. He looked up from his mouse. "What?" He got to his paws.
Ivypaw
Ivypaw placed Mouse down "I found him in the forest." She panted
Fogpelt
Fogpelt smiled happily and slowly walked through the forest
Sandrock
SandRock sat on the border of Shadeclan territory. He didn't really care if he was caught, in fact, he'd be happy if he was caught, it'd mean he'd be able to sink his claws into some poor cat's neck.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang sniffed the air. She leaped ontop of the log. She slipped. Her legs weren't used to jumping yet.
Sleetstorm
"Get him into the den. Now," Sleetstorm meowed, abandoning the mouse and rushing inside. He started going through his herbs.
Ivypaw
Ivypaw grabbed Mouse and ran in
Shadowfang
She dug her claws into he soft wood to stop her from falling down. She gritted her teeth.
Shadowfang
Shadowfang managed to get onto the log. She straightened herself up and walked along it. She sniffed the air.
Ivypaw
"Do you need marigold...that helps infections right?" Ivypaw asked
Fogpelt
as she did she met up with a rogue
Mist
"hi I'm Mist"said the rogue she cat
Sandrock
SandRock yawned, he looked around. "I guess that sorry excuse for a clan doesn't even check It's borders" he muttered. He stood up and walked into Shadeclan territory. He scented the air constantly, being sure not to be snuck up on by any patrols.
Fogpelt
Fogpelt stared at Mist"I'm Fogpelt"she said
Shadow
As the two cats were talking another rogue showed up
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm nodded. He looked through the herbs and took out some marigold.
Duckwing
Duckwing woke up "Morning Mouse." She yawned
Shadow
"what r u doing with this worthless cat!"he hissed
Mist
"this is Shadow"said Mist
Duckwing
When Duckwing didn't get a response she looked around "Mouse?"
Shadow
Shadow growled at Fogpelt
Shadowfang
Shadowfang flicked her ear. She leaped off of the stump. She wobbled.
Ivypaw
Ivypaw looked worriedly at Mouse
Ash
Ash flicked his ear in his sleep. He snored slightly.
Mist
"Shadow!"hissed Mist
Mist
"this cats done nothing to u!"she hissed
Duckwing
"Ash!" Duckwing panicked
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm rushed over to Mouse and put the marigold on him.
Ash
Ash jumped, waking up. "Huh...?"
Shadowfang
Shadowfang heard voices. She pricked her ears. She started to pad towards them.
Ivypaw
"I knew he needed marigold." Ivypaw meowed
Duckwing
"Mouse is gone!" Duckwing yelped
Fogpelt
Fogpelt flattened her ears looking at Shadow
Sandrock
SandRock slowly approached the Shadeclan camp. He crouched down around the edge of the camp. He looked around the camp, counting the cats that he could see. He growled a bit, there were far too many for him to take on alone. He stood up, turned around, and began walking back to the border 'I'll just wait here until some cat comes around' he thought to himself.
Shadow
Shadow gave a threatening look at Fogpelt
Sleetstorm
"Webs," Sleetstorm meowed.
Ash
Ash leapt to his paws. "What?"
Shadowfang
Shadowfang crept closer to the voices. She hid in a bush. The deputy was easily hid in the shadows of the leaves.
Shadow
Shadow almost jumped on Fogpelt but Mist pulled him back
Ivypaw
Ivypaw grabbed some cobwebs and gave them to Sleetstorm
Shadowfang
Shadowfang watched the three rogues. What were they doing on her territory? She unsheathed her claws, but, knowing that she would have no strength to fight them, she sheathed them back.
Sleetstorm
Sleetstorm took them and hurriedly put them on Mouse's wounds. His ears were pinned back.
Mouse
Mouse shivered
