That conversation took a bit longer than the first one, I expected that much and I had to make sure that everything I said made sense. First off, I had to get her on board with my idea so that she could sell it to the creative team. Then we had to talk logistics and figure out a way to make my idea work.
By 6 pm we ended our little meeting with the approval to go ahead with my plan. I left her office as a very happy woman. Tomorrow night on SmackDown my vendetta will start and it will be fearless.
I made my way back to the changing room and managed to avoid talking to anyone, which was a plus for me. There's no name on my door but I know it's mine, that's how I wanted it. For the moment I don't want anyone to know that I'm back except for the makeup artist who is a really good friend of mine. I'm the one who got her the job here because her skills are just amazing.
"Open the door! Open the damn door!" I heard before the pounding even started.
"Hey T." I said when I opened the door, laughing at my friend.
"You're back!" she shouted.
"Yeah and I don't think the rest of Virginia heard you. No one was supposed to know that I'm back."
"I don't care, they'll all know soon enough."
"I'm not fighting, just cutting a promo."
"With Renee?"
"No, out in the ring. I'm starting the show."
"Alright, show me your gear for tonight."
I pulled a black short top that has double spaghetti straps that criss-cross on the back and has glitter detailing, black jeans and knee-high black boots from the closet. On the little vanity I had a thin black choker and a silver body chain. Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
"You're gonna kill them tonight."
"There's a lot going on tonight."
"Like what?" she asked, starting her work.
"I'm starting a story, you'll have to wait and see." I told her before she could ask me.
"Alright, getting back in the game with a bang. Now sit still so I can finish my artistry."
By the time she finished with me my hair was wavy, colorful and shiny, my makeup was as amazing as it always is when she beats my face. My hazel eyes were popped to the max, to the point where they looked green tonight with a gold and black smokey eye look. After I got dressed I do have to say that I look badass.
"Tira a matar bebesita." she said.
"Tu sabes que si, Tania."
She had to leave to go help the other girls with their hair and makeup along with the other MUA's. I decided to wait in my dressing room until Stephanie told me it was time to open the show.
Once I got the text it didn't matter who saw me but I lucked out. There weren't very many people in the hallway and once I made it to the main area I couldn't stop to talk to anyone. I stood at gorilla and waited for my music to come on.
My social media has been blowing up since I took my tourist time today so my fans know that I'm here. The pictures were up on Instagram and twitter, tags were made, captions added and ideas were thrown around. No one is ready for what's gonna happen tonight.
All of a sudden Sweet Sacrifice was blowing throughout the Coliseum and the crowd reaction was instantaneous. The adrenaline rush is a high like no other. As soon as the song came on I made my way out and when the crowd saw me they went even wilder. I've never had this type of pop before and it's nearly bringing me to tears. I'm literally fighting them back.
I did my crazy gymnastic entrance and enjoyed the hell out of it.
"Coming down to the ring, the girl who sets everything on fire, Camilla Blaze!" Renee said.
I got into the ring and I couldn't hear a damn thing around me. Renee gave me a hug and welcomed me back while the crowd chanted my name. I'm really beside myself, I never expected this kind of reaction. I stood on the ropes with my arms resting on the top one and the mic in my hand until the music was cut. Even after it was over the shouting continued. They were singing my song and shouting my name, my ring name anyway.
Fear is only in our minds
Taking over all the time
Fear is only in our minds
But it's taking over all the time
You poor sweet innocent thing
Dry your eyes and testify
And oh you love to hate me, don't you, honey
I'm your sacrifice
I had to wave my hands around to get them to lower down and it still took them a few seconds to actually make the volume manageable.
"WWE, welcome to Monday Night Raw!" I shouted.
"Welcome back! Welcome back! Welcome back!" the crowd started chanting.
"You guys are too much, seriously awesome."
"Welcome back! Welcome back!"
"Hampton, how are you doing tonight?"
The crowd's pop is honestly amazing tonight.
"I know that I saw a few of you on my tour of the city earlier today so thanks for all of the photos. As you all can see . . . I'm back." I said with the biggest smile on my face.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
"Hampton, I was out because of an unfortunate injury for a short amount of time but I'm back now and I'm better than ever! My knee is all healed up and I'm ready to hit the squared circle all over again. I know I took some extra time away and for that, I will apologize but I had to make sure that I was in tip top shape before I came back to all of you amazing people.
Now I'm back to put the entire locker room on check, not only will there be hell to pay but I'm here for that title. I've got a few special people to pay attention too as well but one, in particular, to start it all off. Bella, Nikki Bella, watch your back because it's your turn to burn. So look out, you never know when you'll see a blaze coming for you." I finished, looking back up the ramp.
My music came on again and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I gave the microphone to a sound tech and got out of the ring, taking my time to go back up the ramp. The fans have the word so I stopped to sign autographs and take a few pictures along the way. Behind the curtain Stephanie, April and Trinity were waiting for me and I let the tears fall.
"Holy shit! Did you even hear any of that?" Trinity shouted, wrapping her arms around me.
"Was that even real?" I asked them.
"That's the loudest pop I've heard for a returning favorite in a long time." Steph said, giving me a quick hug.
"That was amazing boo!" Jimmy said, picking me up and twirling me around when he walked over to me.
"Thanks, it was seriously crazy." I told him.
"I got a question for you girl." Jey said.
"Shoot."
"How the hell you do all that stretchy and twirly stuff in them damn towers you're always wearing?" he asked.
"Skill boo, I work better on heels than I do barefoot." I chuckled.
"That much is true." April said, bouncing on the heels of her Converse.
"You love my heels." I argued.
"No the hell I don't, I love my flat-footedness" she replied.
"Alright you two, she's got a match in 10 minutes." Stephanie said, meaning that Aj has to go start warming up.
"I appreciate all of you being here but all of you have something to do tonight so go, get ready." I told my friends.
While I waited for the second part of my storyline to begin backstage a few other wrestlers came over to me to welcome me back and talk about my injury. Then in the case of Finn Balor, he just wanted to hit on me some more.
"You look amazing." he said, coming over and hugging me.
"Thanks, so, when do I get to wear that jacket down to the ring or out of the ring?"
"If the mixed match challenge is true, maybe you'll get partnered with me."
"Maybe, we'll have to see what happens." I told him before he walked away.
Some visits were welcome and others not so much but I did notice and real quickly I noticed that Maryse and Nikki kept their distance. Happy dance time for me, although I honestly would've loved for them to try me.
Just after the two-hour mark, I had my first really good visit again. I hadn't been able to see Trinity throughout most of the episode because she was busy filming so she was a sight for sore eyes.
"Can you stop murder-glaring at them?" she asked.
"Not at all, I'm enjoying seeing them squirm. The fear on their faces directly feeds my ego and it tells me that my sheer presence is scaring the hell out of them, it feels good." I told her with a smile, glaring at a nervous Nikki Bella for a few more seconds before giving Trin my full attention.
"You're a messed up soul."
"It's what makes me special. That was one hell of a match, by the way, with Lynch." I told her.
"It really was."
"Good work out there, fire head." I told Lynch as she passed by us.
"Thanks, Blaze." she chuckled, walking away.
"What now?" Trinity asked me.
"Now I've gotta wait for part two of my push and it's coming up soon, if you don't mind I've gotta go get my makeup fixed."
I met up with Tania in the hallway and told her that I wanted to put my hair up in a fun and flirty tail. She worked her magic on me while I watched Roman Reigns fight with the Miz and his idiotic posse.
Bo Dallas and I are friends, he's a good wrestler but I think his talent is being wasted on the "Miztourage", it doesn't do him justice. It's also very annoying but to each his own and then there's the fact that the higher-ups like it so it's really none of my business. After she finished curling my hair I swiped a fresh coat of lipstick on and I was ready to go.
"Wait, Arianna, what's gonna happen?" she asked me.
"The biggest surprise of the year." I told her, leaving the room.
