Shelby's POV
There was a knock on the door. Shelby opens it in to see Parker in a black tuxedo.
"Hello"
"You ready" Parker says
"Yep"
"Can you at least tell me where we're going" Shelby says after a few minutes of them driving
"No what's the point of a surprise if I tell you"
"True" Shelby says
A few minutes pass and Parker pulls up to a fancy Italian restaurant and gets out the car, they go inside and sit down at a table
"Woah this place is beautiful" Shelby says
"I know right"
The waiter comes and Parker orders lasagna and Shelby orders ravioli.
"Wanna play a game a of 20 questions" Parker says
"Sure, you start"
"Ok, favorite animal?"
"Lion"
"Favorite color"
"Blue"
This goes on til there food comes out
Shelby only eats half of her ravioli and Parker finishes his whole lasagna. After there done Parker pays for there meal and they leave
"Ok" Parker says while driving "I have one more surprise for the night"
"Wait really" Shelby says getting excited
"Yep and were almost there"
They arrive at a ice cream shop
"I promise this will be the best ice cream you have ever tasted"
"Oh really" Shelby says
"What flavor do you want"
"Umm vanilla" Shelby says
Parker orders the ice creams and Shelby and Parker sit on the hood of the car and eat there Ice cream.
"I've had the best time with you Parker" Shelby says breaking the silence
"Me too" Parker says
With that Parker leans in and kisses Shelby which catches her off guard. A few minutes of silence
"Shelby" Parker says "will you be my girlfriend"
"I would love to mr.coppins"
After they finished there Ice cream Parker drives Shelby back to her house.
"Bye thank you I had so much fun"
"Me too byee" Parker says
"Aunt marry I'm home!" Shelby says walking into the house
"Hey Shelby did you have fun"
"Yes it was incredible"
"That's nice to hear" aunt marry says excitedly
The next morning Shelby gets up for school and walks with Parker.
"Hey you wanna come to my house today after school and play some Minecraft"
"Sure" Shelby says
"Cool I'll see you after school"
Shelby meets Meghan at her Locker
"So How was your date" Meghan says
"Well he kissed me and were dating now" Shelby says blushing
"Omg Shelbs I'm so happy for you"
"Thanks Meghan I'll meet
you at lunch"
"Ok see ya"
By lunch Shelby was exhausted so she slept the whole period.
"Shelby" Meghan called "come on you have to get to class before your late"
"Oh shoot" Shelby's says waking up fast "thanks meghan I'll see after school"
Shelby rushes to her next class still exhausted. After school she walks to Parker's house with Parker.
We go into his house and play Minecraft for about a hour with Liam and graser.
"Boys" Parker's mom calls "can you guys go to the store for me to get juice"
"Sure" Parker says pausing the game "Shelby you wanna come with us"
"No it's fine I'm just gonna stay behind and help your mother clean"
"Ok bye" Parker says leaving
Shelby goes in the kitchen and joins Parker's mom who is cleaning.
"So" Parkers mom says "what are you hiding"
"What" Shelby asks confused
"Shelby I have 4 kids I always knows when a kid is hiding something"
"Ok well"
"you can tell me I promise I won't tell Parker if you don't want me to"
"Well I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer and tomorrow I have a operation to get one of my tumors removed but I haven't told Parker yet and I'm scared" Shelby says
"oh honey I'm so sorry" she says hugging Shelby "I promise Parker is gonna be fine with it. he cares about you a lot in fact you make him so happy. he hasn't been this happy in a very long time"
"Really" Shelby says confused
"Well after we moved he hasn't been the same and well when he met you he changed back to the old Parker"
"Thank you" Shelby says "I'm gonna tell him when he comes back"
"There you go honey and I wish you the best, I know your gonna be okay"
Parker walks in the door with Liam and graser laughing
"Here mom I got the juice" Parker says
"Thanks honey"
"Um Parker" Shelby says nervously "I need to tell you something in private"
