An old re-run plays in the background, her mother focused on it, as she receives a phone call from Jackson. An unwelcome and rather odd thing as earlier he dropped by to pick up Lydia. from what Maddy knows, they were renting a movie and leaving her out of it. Per her request.
It was the whispered voice, Jackson's, telling her that they had been attacked by some sort of animal that got her up and running out the house. Ignoring her mother's questions, muttering an excuse on her way out.
Rushing and not in her right mind, completely, she chose to run rather than drive. As it would get her there faster. She's also less likely to be noticed by her peers, as her outfit was nothing special.

Upon arrival she hears an angry male voice tell the sheriff "Why the hell can't I just go home? Im fine." Jackson's to be precise. A barely there eye-roll and a few pushes later, Maddy reaches the ambulance. Pushing through the crowds of people as Stiles watched in shock.
She'd ran here? he knows, because her hair tells. Why, he'll get to later.
"I hear ya, but the EMT said you hit your head pretty hard." at last, she's stood behind Stiles' dad as he continues "They just wanna make sure you don't have a concussion." The sherif tells Jackson, who looks closer to murder than relaxed or concused.
Ruder words follow his exasperated face "What part of I'm fine, do you have a problem grasping?" refusing to calm and proving that if anything he is the direct opposite of being fine. The sheriff attempts, yet again, to bring down the teen's temper. Failing and only resulting in more annoyance.
"No, you don't understand." His town is nastier the more he speaks on "Which kinda blows my mind, since it should be a pretty basic concept to grasp." His voice growing louder as he toes the end of his anger induced disrespect. "For a minimum wage rent-a-cop like you! Okay-now I wanna go home!" Beating the others present , Maddy moves from behind the man to mediate. She's still panting, slightly and much less than a minute earlier. Jackson doesn't notice her for a instantly, attention laser focused on the man before him.
"Jackson!." She announces her presence, words as loud as Jackson's before said Male turns to look at her. "Calm down-" her eyes tip to the side if only slightly, hoping he understands and calms the hell down. "You'll go home.." unaware of the officer watching her, puzzled on how she got there so fast after having watched Jackson make the phone call.
"..just." She moves forward taking his hands in hers. "Don't be such a rude Ass!" And even when helping him,Maddison still finds a way to insult him. Snatching her hand away and smacking him upside the head with enough force to halt his thinking processes.
"Now slow deep breathes or I kick your ass, understand?" Her quieter , softer voice does not hide the truth of her threat.
Stiles shouts before his dad can ask him any questions. "Oh! Is that a dead body?!" The boy is always excited to see one. Which is sorta odd and again nit really. They may have not have been friends for long, if that is what they are now, but she knows him. Has noticed the boy since they were young children.
And as the crowds turn in response to the exclaim, expecting to have look at the body Maddy looks up. Having at last felt the eyes on her , she spots both Scott and Derek atop the roof. They embody the word creepy, probably having been watching her for a while. "What?" She mouths to them rather aninatedly and spares not another glance before retracting her attention to what matters,
Maddy turns back to Jackson and sighs the remainder of her thoughts "How's Lydia? Where is she?" She arrived and has yet to see her sister, she never heard her voice over the phone either. A monotone voice drags out "I'm here" glaring as her younger sister turns slowly with a sheepish look on her face. "Oh,hello." Maddy smiles simultaneously dropping Jackson's other hand feeling slightly guilty.

Maddison was getting tired of Derek being creepy. A grown adult, with an unpleasant reputation around tie has to stop showing up at School unannounced. Especially with that sour , unapproachable facial expression he has on. All day long.
The girl had just finished P.E, another class she didn't participated in using her shoulder an an excuse in order to avoid it. She had been sat doing other homework when the scent reached her, scanning the room as she picks it up. To make a day more confusing, Scott McCall is also absent from class, the new star player of their team missing out a sports class? weird. Derek dragging his feet into the boys locker room when he can easily sniff out the boys location? even weirder.
Apparently she's now weird and creepy too, as she packs the. books and trails after the man into said room. When she enters, the reason behind the unwelcome school visa presents it self as she overheard him. The place was foggy, and though she couldn't;t see him nor Jackson she hears "I'm not here for Scott, I'm here for you.". Said threateningly, with venom and probably a menacing look.
"W-why me? I-I didn't do anything." Exhaling, Maddy follows their voices knowing that Jackson's probably backed into a corner. He's probably afraid, if the scent is any indicator.
"No. but you saw something, didn't you?"
"No,I-I didn't see anything." That she knows is a lie, Jackson told her himself that he saw a mountain lion of some sort. She knew it was the Alpha, mountain lions are the cover-up but also the lie everyone believes. They always are.
Derek Hale doesn't stop there, he presses. He asks again, giving suggestion of his own thus time. "An Animal? A mountain Lion?" it pisses her off. He knows that she doesn't want him to speak to Jackson, nevermind intimidating him.
Jackson once again denies having seen anything. "Then Calm Down and say it again." Finally she gets to the two. As expected Derek is taking threatening steps towards the teen.
"Derek." She snarls lowly,both heads turning to her. "Let him go,he said he didn't see shit." And her cousin stares at her before examining Jackson.
He surprises her when he turns the boy's neck and sees the Claw Marks,the ones the Alpha left on Jackson last night. "You should really get that checked out."
And so the Hale walks away,yet doesn't pass Maddison as she harshly grabs his arm despite being shorter. "When I say let him go,you let him go. He doesn't know anything." And even though the female is very aware that she can't beat Derek,her temper wins once again and her eyes glow.
"Emotions cloud judgment." The raven haired wolf reminds her before shrugging her hand away and walking off. "Remember that." He says before exiting the boys locker room.
"Martin! You cant be in here!" One of the many boys yells as he spots her. "Hey Johnny boy! Suck my ass!" She's frustrated.
Scott skips school with the hunter's bloody daughter. Jackson and Her sister were attacked by the Alpha. Derek cannot stop being creepy and she's failing math!
"How do you know that guy?"
Oh,she forgot Jackson was there.
"Promise not tell Lydia?" Not tell anyone really. And at his nods she closes her eyes to prepare. "Don't tell anyone,but he's my long-lost cousin. Derek Hale."
"Hales? Didn't they die during that fire?" And so Jackson knew about the Hales. "Not all of them and Around Six months ago,Derek came back and eventually found me." She explains,strictly looking at his eyes knowing that he isn't fully dressed.
"Six months ago? Wasn't that-"
"Yeah,the meet.Thanks for reminding me." She groans at the memory. "Anyway,you okay?"

"I still don't see the point of me being here." Maddy sighs as they watch the whittemores go into a classroom.
It was the parent/teacher conference tonight and since Lydia wasn't coming, Maddy's dad thought it was good if she came too.
He played favourites,and how Maddy hated being his.
"Sweetie,it's so you-yourself can know what to improve on." Natalie tells her daughter. She may be adopted,but never gets treated like it.
And so with a sigh,she waits in line. Trying not to hear every word said about Jackson and Stiles in the two rooms near her.
Sometimes she hated her wolf hearing.
A few minutes later,the whittemore's came out of the room,smiling at her. "Hello Maddison, enjoying school this year?" Attending a lot of the swim meets meant that they got to see her a quite a bit.
Her and Jackson's time meant they got to see her a lot more.
Their son dating her sister ,meant they saw even more.
"Yeah,Have a great night." She smiles before waking into the Classroom for Mr Harris. The one teacher who didn't compare her and Lydia to each other.
"Maddison,pleased you could make it." He was one of those picky teachers and when it came to Maddison,well much like her father he played favourites.
Although,she always thought it had something to do with the wealth of the student.
"Well to be honest,Maddison is one bright student,quick to focus and get the Hang of things.." She Hates these meeting because it's all the same.
How even though she's bright,a great leader and a social person,she could do with a little more letting go and opening up.
How she needs to expand her social ideas and all that nonsense.
"Mom,Dad can I go? I'll meet you outside math?" She asks after checking her phone to see a text message from Stiles.
Thankfully they agreed and the memory she stepped out of the room,she dialled his number. "Call Scott,I found something on your sister's phone and your gonna wanna see it."
He doesn't even give her a chance to speak, How rude!
She goes to call Scott,but then realised that she doesn't even have his number or any service,which doesn't even make sense. She was on the phone to Stiles less than a minutes ago.
With a large sigh,she walks speedily outside the building to see Scott and Allison together. "McCall!" Her shout for him also grabs his mom's attention. "Where the hell were you.." her question is trialed off as she sees that the two look busted.
Allison parents and Scott's mom approach the two teens,who bunked off school and shrugs her shoulders in apology. Now she had to sneak into Scott's house since his mom Isn't letting him out anytime soon.
"Maddy! There you are." Her Dad's voice only causes her to groan even louder as the two ex-married people walk to her. She hates when her mom and dad are together because the two seem to literally hate each Other.
"I'm here." Her fake smile is wiped off as they hear a girl's loud scream and is replaced by a worried look she shared with Scott.
Hunters being there is Zero help!
The screaming and yelling of people continues as Maddison and Scott look around trying to find who is doing this. They can hear growling and it sure as hell isn't Derek.
Fortunately,it was just an actual Animal. Unfortunately, Chris Argent shot it twice,thinking it was a werewolf. But he did save Stiles' dad.
The wild animal was clearly not normal.
"Shit,that's not good." Maddy mumbles going away to call Derek.
They had to find that Alpha or not people get hurt!
