B/F/N - Best Friend's Name
S/N - Sister's Name
I take a deep breath as I sit in my best friend's hotel room, having the finishing touches put on my makeup, my hair already done beautifully.
"You ready for today?" B/F/N asks excitedly. She looks amazing in the black bridesmaids dress that me and Oli asked her to wear.
"Of course I am. I've been ready for this day for years, you know that." I smile as my sister/makeup artist puts the finishing touches on my eye makeup.
"I can't wait to see my sister get married!" S/N says excitedly, taking a small step back to admire the work she's done on my face and hair.
I laugh softly, looking up at her. "Well, I can't wait to get married." I say, standing up to walk over to the mirror. "Oh my god, you did an amazing job!" I smile as I admire my sister's work.
S/N does B/F/N's makeup before she sits down to do her own.
Once all of us have our hair and makeup done, they help me put on my wedding dress.
The dress is long with a slight ball gown skirt, but nothing too big. The bodice is a corset type top with black ribbons tying the back, the rest of it white with some sparkles. It's a very beautiful dress.
~Time Skip~
I look straight ahead at Oli as I walk down the aisle, smiling happily as I look into his eyes.
He stares at me, his mouth open slightly. This is one of the first times he's ever seen me so dressed up. Of course, we've been on nice dates before, so he's seen me making an effort before, but that isn't very often.
I'm more of a jeans and shirt, casual person. In fact, it feels weird for me to be wearing heels. I have to walk slowly so that I don't fall over.
Everyone watches me as I walk down, eventually getting to the front, where Oli is stood with the man who is officiating the wedding, his groomsmen and my bridesmaids.
"You look so amazing. Like, wow. I knew you were beautiful, but I never quite expected that you could look so gorgeous." He says quietly to me. "That makes it sound like I don't think you're beautiful everyday. But you know what I mean."
I giggle softly, blushing slightly as I look up at him. "Thank you. You look so handsome."
We stand there, smiling as the officiant speaks, holding each other's hands tightly, so tightly it hurts a little bit, although neither of us care at all. We're both too happy to care.
After a few moments, I snap out of the trance it feels like I'm in while staring at the most handsome man in the world when I hear that it's time for vows. Oli and I agreed that neither of us would prepare anything, but just say whatever comes into our heads. It seems like an odd thing to do, but it's what we wanted.
"Y/N, you are truly the most incredible woman that I have ever met. You're my wife, or you're about to be, and my best friend, and I can't think of a better person to spend the rest of my life with.
"I've never met a better person in my life. You're the sweetest, most beautiful most I've ever seen. You always outshine everyone. Whenever you're in the room, I can't drag my eyes away from you. Your beauty is radiant, and I'm so surprised no one snatched you up before I got to you, but I'm so glad."
I blush a little bit when he says that.
"You light up my life. I don't know what I would do without you. I'm so in love with you, more in love than I've ever been before." He smiles, looking at me, holding both of my hands tightly in his.
"I promise to always be there for you when you need me. I promise you'll always be able to talk to me about anything and everything. I promise to never get angry at you for waking me up in the middle of the night to talk about whatever random topic has just popped up in your head. I promise to always tell you just how beautiful you are and to always compliment you on your cooking. Even if it isn't very good." He laughs softly.
"Most importantly, I promise that I'll always love you, through thick and thin, no matter what."
"Your turn." He chuckles softly, looking at me.
I smile, looking up into his eyes. "I could stand here and say everything that you've just said back to you. I'd just have to change the word beautiful to handsome. But I'll go ahead and add some more on.
"I love you more than anything else in this world. I would give up everything if it meant I could have you and make you happy. I love you just as much as you love me. The second I met you, I fell in love with all your amazing tattoos. Your face certainly wasn't bad either." I laugh softly. "Your accent drew me in, but then got to know you. That's when I realised that I love you.
"I promise that I'll always make you happy to the best of my ability. I promise to be there for cuddles when you get back from a long day at the studio or from tour. I promise to talk to you every single day you're on tour, no matter the time difference. I promise to always ove you, even when long tours have pulled us apart physcially. I'll always love you, no matter what happens." I smile softly, looking up at him, completely forgetting about everyone else, so focused on his eyes.
We say our 'I do's, slipping the wedding rings onto each other's fingers. Oli doesn't even wait to be told that he can kiss me before pulling me in close to him, our family and friends clapping and cheering for us as we share our most passionate kiss ever.
"You're stuck with me now." He whispers in my ear as he holds me against his chest tightly, making me laugh softly.
"I'm so happy about that."
