As soon as Bill let me go I only stopped for a second to thank him.
I could go back! I could see Mabel again!
I flew down the hall and into the room we used for summoning portals. In the blink of an eye a portal appeared in front of me through it and into the forest of Gravity Falls.
It's so good to be back.
I visited all my old favorite places in the woods reminiscing about the adventures I had with Mabel. Every location bringing a different memory to mind. Until I had reached the edge of the cleaning wherein the Mystery Shack stood.
I hovered an inch closer to the threshold separating the trees from the Mystery Shack's yard. But for some reason I hesitated.
Huh... it's funny after all this time being away from her, waiting for the day I could come back, I forgot why I left. If I interact with Mabel run the risk of hurting her.
I decided to stay out of the physical plane and continue looking around. As long as I didn't interact with the real world, I could watch from the sidelines without doing any damage.
I floated over the lawn and through the mystery shack's main entrance.
The differences from the last time I saw the shack can be compared to those of a newly made twinky and one left in the package for ten years. Meaning there was little to no change.
Every thing was going fine. Nobody paid attention to the person with yellow eyes and bat wings absentmindedly floating through racks of t shirts, that is until a certain brunette walked through the front door, followed by Candy and Grenda.
Mabel stood there for a few seconds staring at me, not the wall behind me not the shelves next to me. No she made direct eyes contact, but that breif moment of confusion for bouth of us was soon cut short by Grenda pulling Mabel upstairs.
