Conan's Pov
"Detective Reed I'm back." I said as I locked the door. Gavin had taken the day off work and it was a pretty slow day so I was glad to be back.
"I stopped at the store before I came back because we were low on coffee grounds." Silence. I know he's here somewhere, he would have notified me if he had left.
"Gavin?" I call out and dropped the groceries on the floor. I walk around, looking for him. My LED starts to spin and turn yellow. He's not here. I run up the stairs and start looking in all of the rooms.
"Gavin if this is a prank I do not find it very funny." I yell as I check the last room.
He's gone. Where did he go? Is something wrong? Is he hurt? No he can't be. He's gotta be here somewhere. But I've checked every room and there's no trace of him. No, no no no this can't be happening. My LED flashes red. "GAVIN PLEASE, WHERE ARE YOU?" I yell. I hear a thud from downstairs and sprint down the stairs and look around.
"Gavin?" Nobody's down here. I run a system check. All of my bio components are functioning correctly, he has to be here somewhere. I hear another thud coming from the kitchen. I walk into the room and look around, but I can't find him. He has to be here though! I hear a thud once again, it's coming from the fridge. I open it and...
"...What the fuck are you doing in the fridge Gavin?"
I pull him out of the fridge. He opens his mouth to talk but before he can speak I pull him into a hug. He awkwardly pats my back. "Relax plastic, I'm not dead.
I pull back and glare at him. "You will be soon." He looks at me confused and then he starts running. "Oh SHI-"
