So, basically all of you were right when I asked why you thought Alfred was suddenly happier. I made him a bit happier because, he finally had a father figure to fill in the void that had been empty basically all his life. George Washington was the only father he ever truly had. But he was human and died. So now Portugal is here to stay and be a father that won't die/go away. And Alfred's also been improving little by little, so that also plays a part.
The Nordics are also gonna come in at some point and things are gonna get...... scandalous
