It was almost late night when Ming came to Kit's room, his hairs dripping water and he knew he took a shower just now. Kit smiled seeing him who smiled back but it didn't reach his eyes which made Kit frown.
"Done with store room?" Kit asked as Ming sighed and sat with him resting his head on Kit's lap who smiled and played with his hairs. "Yeah, I am so tired." Ming said his voice hoarse as if he has been crying and Kit frowned even more, his eyes filled with concern.
"Ming are you okay?" Kit asked and he nodded but Kit shook his head. "Don't lie to me, what happened?" He stopped playing with his hairs and Ming rolled over so he was facing Kit and he gulped at the sight of his tears. "Oh, what's going on?" Kit wiped his tear and Ming closed his eyes before he started telling Kit about what happened with Mark, about his cuts and how he was blaming himself and how it was Ming's fault he wasn't there for him. Kit's eyes widened and he felt his heart clenching for them but he immediately pulled Ming closer.
"Ming none of it was any of your fault and Mark has nothing to blame for, it was my decision and I would have done the same even if it was Mark. I regret nothing." Kit said and Ming looked at him. "And it isn't your fault either, what you went through it was obvious you started having doubts. Everything leaves a scar but that doesn't mean it's your fault. You have them now, don't let them go." Kit traced his cheek and Ming's lips tremble.
"He's my brother, I was supposed to look after him." Ming said and Kit sighed and wiped his tears. "That's exactly you did and you always do, I have never seen any sibling loving each other as much as you do. There is some bond between you four, some connection and the love you have for them is what matters. Sometimes people do lose control but now you are here for him, it will be okay." Kit hugged him closer as he sobbed for first time in forever in Kit's arm letting the weight lift from his body.

It was almost 3 a.m or something when Kit heard whimpers coming from outside. He blinked cautiously and sat straight on bed turning on his side lamp. He frowned not understanding what was happening but when he heard whimpers again his heart sank as he realized it was coming from Ming's room.
"Ming?" Kit called out but got no reply. When the whimpers got louder his heart started to beat faster and he grabbed his stand. He threw his legs down his bed and sat at the edge. Taking a deep breath he placed his hands on either side of his stands and pushed himself upwards. He wasn't stable and so he fell back on bed, he cursed and tried again but failed. Third time he was a little stable, enough to make it to Ming's room.
He walked towards Ming's room and his heart broke when he saw him trashing in his bed, whimpers escaping him mouth as sweat pour from his forehead. Kit knew he was having a nightmare and so he went towards his bed and stood there. He tried to move his hand to shake Ming but he couldn't, he knew if he moved his hand he'll lose his balance. Tears of frustration gathered in his eyes as he thought of something. In the end he slowly sat on the edge of his bed holding Ming's side table for some support. With one hand he held his stand tightly to support himself and with other he shook Ming who was trashing badly.
"Ming wake up It's okay." Kit pleaded but all Ming said was chorus of "No" and "Please". He brushed his fingers on Ming's hairs and shook him again pleading desperately. After almost five minutes Ming woke up drenched in sweat. He gulped and looked at Kit his eyes widening but his hands shaking.
"Kit?" He cleared his throat.
"I'm here." Kit said.
"What are you doing here?" Ming asked.
"You were having a nightmare.." Kit said as- a- matter-of-factly.
"So? Kit you could have fell." Ming said and Kit shook his head.
"Don't worry about me, I'm okay." Kit said and Ming sighed before he pulled Kit upwards towards himself. Kit hugged Ming closer in his arms as his body shook. "Do you want to talk about it?" he brushed his hairs and Ming closed his eyes. "I saw Wayo dying, I saw Mark killing himself." Ming said and Kit sighed sadly and pulled him closer.
"Its alright, it was just a nightmare." Kit said and Ming cuddled closer. Kit kissed his forehead. "Tell me something about Wayo.." he said and Ming started talking about him. He told him some of their stories and Kit listened until Ming was calm enough. Ming pulled Kit with him and laid him down as he slowly drifted asleep. Kit kept brushing his hairs until his eyes dropped. He placed a tender kiss on his forehead before he fell asleep to with Ming safe in his arms.
