"So, (Y/n). Where are you from?" Lisa asks.
"Before here, I lived at (wherever you are). My parents wanted a new start," I answered Lisa.
"Nothing was wrong where we used to live, they just wanted something fresh and fun, instead of the same boring things, I guess.."
"Oh, well you'll love it here in Springfield. Even though there are some people and places to avoid.." Lisa trailed off, looking at the ground.
"That's an understatement," Bart grumbles.
"Hmm?" This perked my interest. Are there some people here that I should avoid?
"N-nothing!" Lisa speaks up. I was taken aback at her little outburst.
Once Lisa realized what she done, she piped down and cleared her throat,
"It's nothing important, a discussion for later. Say! Wanna go explore Springfield so you know, get to know springfield a little better?" Lisa suggests, clearly trying to change the subject.
"Oh, sure," I reply, a little agitated. I wanted to know who was trouble so I wouldn't get into it myself.
"Great! Let's go then," She says, grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the kitchen. Bart quickly follows after us.
"Mom, we're headed out to show (Y/n) around Springfield for a bit!" Lisa calls out, opening the front door.
"Okay! Be back by 7!" Marge says.
"Have fun, kids!" My mom calls out.
We went outside, but before we could go, Bart stops us.
"Wait! Let me get something," He says, running to the side of the house.
"Bart, I swear to god-" Before Lisa could say anything, Bart comes speeding down the driveway in a red bike. He stops his bike by me.
"Why are you bringing your bike?" I ask, pointing to his bike.
"'Cause walking is for nerds. Plus it's overrated," He smirks, flipping his hair out of the way of his eyes.
Lisa and I roll our eyes and continue down the sidewalk to town. Bart is doing tricks behind us and on the side of the road, complaining how we are "too slow".
"Bart!" A voice calls out. We all stop and turn. I hear Lisa groan.
"Sup, Milhouse?" Bart greets a boy who ran up to him. He had blue hair, a black ripped shirt, Thick red glasses, Jean shorts, and white sneakers. He was also buff.
"H-hey lisa!" Milhouse shyly greets the blonde girl, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Milhouse," Lisa hissed.
"W-who's the new kid?" Milhouse asks, gesturing to me.
"(Y/n), the new girl. She moved here recently," Lisa says.
"Does she go to Springfield High?" Milhouse asks.
"We don't know, do you (Y/n)?" Bart questions, looking at me.
"Yep," I say, popping the 'p'.
"Sweet, mind if I tag along with you guys?" Milhouse asks.
"Sure I guess," Bart says. Milhouse whispers something in his ear, they both nod and start chuckling.
"What did he say?"
I hear Lisa growl beside me. She might not like Milhouse so I ask/whisper to her,
"You okay? Do you like Milhouse?"
"No! Never, he has a maajor crush on me. He always pesters me, he can't take a hint. And he's been like this for years," Lisa rambles in a harsh whisper. I nod, understanding.
"Well, are you two just going to stand there? Let's get going," Bart retorts.
"Yes, were coming. No need to be so pushy," Lisa says, catching up to the two boys. I follow after her.
"Let's go over here first!" Lisa pulls me over to a store called the 'Kwik-E- Mart'. When we enter we are greeted by a man.
"Hello, welcome to my store! How can I help you?" A man with an accent questions, behind a counter.
"Hey Apu. We're just showing the new girl around," Bart explained. I give a small wave.
"Oh! That's why I didn't recognize you! Welcome to Springfield. The names Apu, I run The Kwik-E-Mart!" Apu beamed.
"My name is (Y/n). Nice to meet you," I say.
"Nice to meet you, too. Now if none of you guys are going to buy anything I suggest you leave," He advised us.
"Alright. See you later, dude," Bart says as we leave the Market.
"Their prices are wayy to high. I dont suggest going there," Lisa informs me. I just nod my head.
We continue up the sidewalk to town. Lisa then stops us Infront of a building that looks like a theatre.
"Here is the Aztec Theatre! We can go watch a movie here sometime after if you'd like," Lisa announced.
"Sure. Sounds good," I agree with Lisa.
Bart's stomach let's out a growl of hunger.
"Oh man, I'm starving! Sis we gotta stop by Krusty Burger," Bart groans.
" "Krusty Burger"?" I question.
"Only the best burger joint in all of Springfield!" Bart gushes.
"Well okay, let's get some food," Lisa says.
-Time skip to 6:40 when y'all start heading home-
After we got our meals at Krusty Burger, the gang (Lisa, Bart, Milhouse) showed me places all over Springfield like the school, mall, church, clubs, parks, etc. I also got to meet some people which was pretty cool. I also got to know Lisa and Bart a little better and they got to know me better as well. Milhouse just kept quiet but did say some things. We were now heading home, well- The Simpsons home that is and I was beyond tired, my feet were sore from all the walking.
"I better get going now, my parents will kill me if they find out I'm late," Milhouse says, walking away.
"See you later," Bart says.
"Later guys,"
We finally made it to the house. I noticed that Lisa looked a little pale so I asked her what's wrong. She said everything was fine but I didn't believe it, but I just brushed it off.
"So did you kids have fun?" Marge asks.
"Yeah, it was great! We got to show
(Y/n) around and she met some new people!" Lisa beams. She's a very energetic person I notice.
"Well that's good!"
"Hey guys! Sorry but my daughter and husband have to get going now. It was a pleasure to meet you all!" My mother says.
"Oh that's too bad! We must meet up again sometime, want to exchange numbers?" Marge questions my mother.
"Sure thing!" My mom and Marge exchange their phones.
My dad and Homer also exchange numbers. Homer has some trouble but my dad helps him.
"W-want to exchange numbers, (Y-y/n)?" Bart questions, rubbing the back of his neck. I see Lisa smirk.
"S-sure.." I stutter. We both exchange phones and add our numbers to the contacts. We hand our phones back to eachother, my hand brushes up against Bart's which triggers my blush. I turn to Lisa.
"Lisa, how about you?" I ask, holding out my phone.
"Sure!" We both exchange numbers and hand eachother phone back.
"Well we better get going, see you all later!" My mom says.
"Bye!" The simpsons say in unison.
"Bye!" My family and I also say in unison.
We leave their home. We go back to ours and sit on the couch.
"So mom, how are they? Are they nice?" I ask.
"Oh yes! Marge and I got along great, we can relate to eachother alot and we have the same interests! Homer and your father also got along good as well," My mom perks.
"We'll definitely be seeing them alot! They seem like good people. Anywho, how was their children? Are you all friends?"
"They are cool. I like Lisa's personality. Bart seems kind of like a slacker, but very chill. Also sarcastic and such but he wasn't so bad," I left out the part where I thought he was cute. God damn teenage hormones.
"Well don't forget you just met today! I'm sure that Bart will warm up to you in no time," My mother comforted.
"Homer and I are going to make great beer buddies," My dad says out of the blue. My mom lightly hits the back of his head and I laugh.
"Well tomorrow you are enrolling onto Springfield High! How do you feel?" My mother asks me.
"Good I guess. I'm going to prepare my bag and such. See you later," I say, getting up.
"Okay honey! Just come down for dinner,"
"I'm good. I already ate alot so I'm not hungry,"
I walk away and prepare my lunch. After that i go to my room and prepare my school bag, set my alarm, and pick out my pajamas.
The time read 8:00 pm. I thought it was too early to sleep so I just played on my phone til 10:35 before calling it a night.
I let the sleep kick in and soon enough, darkness consumes my vision.
Hi! Hope you all enjoyed. I know this chapter was boring and short, I plan to make them longer and more exciting in the future. My writing will also improve as well. I just started writing about a month ago and a half so I'm not really good. Also thank you for reading!
Have a good day/afternoon/night, bye!♡
