[At the party]
Lorraine lazily enter the hall kung san ginaganap yung party.
She couldn't help but felt the same suffocation she usually felt pag nasa school sya.
She felt gaze, but she tried to retain her usual perfrct daughter image.
And yes she's been acting like this ever since.
As she follow her parents, towards their table. Kahut ineexpect na nya, she cant help but felt a pang in her heart upon seing him.
Upon seeing Jay with his parents.
My parent immidietly greeted his parents and Nag usap kagad business related.
Leaving the two of them in uncomfortable situation.
She remained standing while looking at him.
He is also doing the same thing.
Hindi maiwasan ni Lorraine na hindi mapansin ang itsura ng binata.
He got this sad expression.
Medyo pumayat din ito, had a red and puffy eyes. He doesnt look well.
And she didn't need to ask him what happened.
She got an Idea.
"H-hi" Jay says weakly, but smile slightly.
"Hi" the guy says sweetly as he hug her from behind.
"Hello babe" the girl says as she turned around and wrap her hands on the guys nape.
She smiled painfully remembering, kung pano nila i greet ang isat isa. With their simple 'Hi' but overflowing feeling and could mean everything to them before.
Pero yung sayang dulot nun dati, nagbago. It cause a huge pain for both of them.
"Hello" she answered back to him and she can see how it affect him, yet he tried to smile.
He then had the courage to went infront of the girl he love.
"C-can I have this dance?" he ask with a little hope.
"Can I dance my beautiful girlfriend?" Jay ask as he offered his hands to Lorraine. Who's smiling from ear to ear.
It may be the last time she had a chance to held this hand so she accept his offer.
As they went on the center hand in hand.
He then wrap his hand on her waist as she wrap her hands on his nape.
Tahimik lang sila while dancing.
Cherishing the moment.
Both were speaking through their eyes...
Until Jay couldnt stand it anymore...
"I-I miss you" Jay says looking so helpless.
The girl then smile weakly, sadly. hearing this to him.
"I know" she simply says. But wanted to say she misses him too.
"I-I love you, Babe... I still do" Jayson added. More like pleading.
Until a tear escape from his eyes. And that is so heartbreaking for Lorraine to watch. It gives unbearable pain.
Lorraine lift her hand and wipe the tears on Jayson cheeks. That he didn't even notice to fall.
"I'm sorry" she says to him as if every word stab her.
Pero umiling lang ito.
"It was my fault. I'm so sorry" Jay explain.
"But... please... Can't we start over again?" Jay ask pleading to her...
"What do you mean start over again?" Someone ask. dahilan para pareho kami ni Jay mapabitaw sa isat isa. It was my father. Behind him is my mom and jay's parents.
They all have a worried expression. Which I kinda understand, since Jay and I are already engage and our parents have plans for us,plus they are partner in certain company na ibibgay nila samin ni Jay,once we're married.
But that's their plan.
I face my parents and his.
"I'm sorry dad, Tito,tita...but we broke up" I simply says. They all look shock coz we always look so inlove.
I thought they would ask us anong nangyari, but...
"No Lorraine Park, get back together and fix your sh*t!" my dad shouted at me making me flinch.
I know he was always serious when it comes to business.
I know he is holding on this relationship because he thought it will break their great partnership. But I didnt expect na he is this worst. He didnt care.
Jayson stand infront of me.
"Uncle, it was my fault. Please don't be mad at Lorraine" Jay explained.
"I won't accept your break up Jayson. You two are already engage. We have plans for you, Fix this" My dad says calmly to jay as they leave us.
They all didnt even ask. making me smile bitterly.
Jayson then face me.
"Are you okay?" he ask worriedly.
"Let's stop this Jay" I says as I look at him.
"W-what?"
What hurt more is that, I just couldn't accept that my dad, didn't even tried to hear me out. He didn't even try to ask what happened. He didn't ask if I was in pain...
He didn't care about me... He is always like that and ngayon ko lang nakita...Nagyon ko lang narealize lahat. After knowing the truth, ngayon lang ako nagising sa katotohanan.
I felt a sting in my eyes and also felt betrayed. As I was on verge of tears.
"The next time, I saw you crying... As a punishment.... I'll kiss you"
But I ended up smiling remembering that cold mean jerk. I kinda wish he is here... Its fine kahit bullyihin nya ko... as long that he is here. Kase kahit papano, pakoramdam ko meron akong kakampi. But..
But because he is not, I have to stop this. I have to stand on my own.
I smile bitterly.
"S-sorry, I'm tired of this set up. Tired of being the perfect daughter and perfect fiancé for you. This is not my life Jay" I told him. Even I love him, I have to let him go. Not because I just want to let him but because I need to let him go. And there a huge difference.
He went near me, and as he was about to hold me. Someone stood between us.
And relief wash over me, seeing that cold and mean guy.
I chuckle, thinking that I used my entire luck for this year, seeing him.
The person I wish to be here.
He held his hand up and flash his playful smirk.
"Let's go?" he ask.
It is the only hand I could hold onto now. So I did.
Everyone were staring at us, even Jay is left dumbfounded.
and that enough for me to tighten my hold on Gios hand.

We ended up in a balcony.
He was leaning on the balcony. As I was looking at the view.
"Didn't expect that the party you were about to attend is actually this" I said breaking the silence and the awkwardness.
"you okay?" he ask not looking at me.
He sounds so cold but I know he is worried.
"If I say I am fine after throwing my chance to retain being the perfect daughter of my dad and fix things between me and the man I love. Would you believe it?."
Gio just look at her, as if asking her.
"Kung iba lang ang sitwasyon, baka kase I still choose to be my dad perfect princess,If it was the only way my dad would be proud of me and If it was the only way I could stay with Jay. I really do love him na kung siguro I have a chance to stay I would do it. Na kung siguro iba ang sitwasyon kaya kong kalimutan lahat ng ginawa nya just to stay. I can be whoever they want as long I have both of them."
"I'm glad you didn't do that and I hope you won't live your own life pretending to be someone else" Gio says honestly that make her look at him.
"Because I know you wont be happy, if you did" Gio says now looking at her eyes.
And for some reason,she knows he is right. Maybe because she is heartbroken that she is becoming so desperate, or maybe she wish she had a chance to change her situation.
Silence filled the balcony. As they both still looking at each other.
Gio then turn to her.
"By the way. We probably won't be able to see each other" Gio says. For some reason lorrein felt a pang on her heart.
"Why? You're going somewhere?" she ask, trying to sound like how she usually.
"Yes, out of the country for-" ,"Lorrein let's go home" her dad interrupted. Anger is still visible in his voice. Not even bothering to look who's with her daughter.
Lorrein just give Gio one last look before following her father.
Leaving Gio confused.

nag iimpake na si Gio for his flight tom.
When he thought of her again. still confuse of what she said earlier.

"Be selfish sometimes" Gio says, stopping Lorraine from her track.
Lorraine then look at him and smile sadly.
"I can't be selfish this time. Not this time"she said before leaving him.
"Not this time? Try to think about it. she did mention that if she have choice she would stay to be like that, but also wanted her own life? what a contradiction. ...
She sounded like she has a deeper reason of breaking up with him... hayst never mind" Gio says to himself as he continue his packing.
