"Can youremember anything else? Anything else?" Jordan asked a silent Isaac, Jordan sighed as Isaac stared down at the ground beside Lydia and Scott "Isaac?"
Emilia ran through the car park to the station, not stopping until she found Isaac. After a tearful phone call from her son, Emilia was still in shock that Allison was really gone. But she couldn't help feel relived that Isaac was okay, because it easily could've been him in Allison's position.
"I'm sorry. It just happened so fast." Isaac whispered looking up in relief as his mother's voice filled the station, Emilia rushed forward as she spotted the teens, pulling Isaac into a hug as he stood to his feet "Isaac!"
"I'm so sorry." Emilia comforted him, hugging him tightly as she stared at her brother sadly "I got you."
"Emilia, can i borrow you?" Jordan questioned, Emilia nodded softly resting her hand against Scott's shoulder as she walked past into Noah's office with Jordan "Has he said anything? We cant get anything out of them."
Emilia turned back to the teens sat by the door, "Barley, he's torn up over Allison - we all are."
"Lets be thankful they made it out safely." Jordan smiled sadly, Emilia nodded taking a deep breath as Noah walked into the rom "Yeah. Hey."
"We need to try and keep this quiet for as long as we can. Once the press finds out about this, they're gonna be all over those kids. You want a squad car outside your house?" Jordan questioned the two, Noah sighed sharing a nervous glance with Emilia "Yeah, might be a good idea tonight."

Emilia was hesitant to go see Chris at first, but after reminding herself that he had no one left now, it was her turn to return the favour of taking care of each other.
"Chris?" Emilia called out quietly walking through the apartment, rushing to hug Chris who hesitantly hugged back.
Emilia sighed spotting Isaac fast asleep on the couch, "I figured he'd be here."
"He's not taking it well." Chris stated, moving over to sit at the dining table. Emilia smiled sadly pushing Bennett's pram over to the table, "How can any of us?"
"Is this?" Chris questioned, waiting for her to tell him his name. Emilia smiled down at her son, "Bennett. Do you want to hold him?"
Chris nodded, falling distracted by the baby placed in his arms "He looks just like Derek."
Emilia placed her arm on the table, resting her head against it "How are you really feeling? Don't you put up that 'hunter guard', everyone has feelings."
Chris sighed, smiling sadly at Bennett "You know what loss is like, but with Allison I lost the one person i had left."
"You're not alone, you have us." Emilia comforted, "We lost a life who we will treasure forever, Allison died a hero and we will all be forever grateful for her."
"I often wonder if the pain of loosing someone ever goes away, you know? That maybe one day we'll be pulled out of this cycle of never-ending grief." Chris pointed out.
"After the fire, i always thought what if they are alive? If they somehow made it out and we got it all wrong, i know it wasn't how i shouldn't dealt with the death but when we found Cora-" Emilia began, "It showed me that the pain doesn't last forever, it's still there, but it only pushes us to have hope that there is something better, and it's worth fighting for."
"I'm sure that wherever Allison and our families are, they're leading us to that better place, even if we can't see it." Emilia continued, smiling as Bennett tugged on her finger with his small hands "I think thats how i got Ben, and you'll get there too, it just takes time."
"Hey, sleepyhead." Emilia greeted as Isaac stood in the doorway, standing up to hug the blonde "Are you okay here with Chris? I have to go help Derek with the twins."
"Yeah, we're coping here." Isaac nodded as Emilia lifted Bennett back into the pram.
Chris stood from his chair as Emilia moved to leave the room, "Emilia?"
Emilia turned to Chris who smiled genuinely, "Thank you."
_
"Because of Stiles?" Emilia walked through the doors after dropping Bennett off with Charlie, moving to stand by Derek's side "Because of Scott. You've been trying to find a way into his pack. Trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him. You've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader. You fight for a leader's cause."
"What cause?" Ethan questioned, Emilia and Aiden turned to Derek as they listened to him speak highly of his brother in law.
"Scott's always been about one thing. Saving his friends and family. He will do anything and everything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost, he finds another way. And when he's beaten down, he stands up again. You want to earn a place in his pack? You want redemption? Find another way to stand and fight."
Aiden and Ethan left the couple alone in the loft, leaving to help the fight that Emilia and Derek would have to join too. All Emilia and Derek wanted was for this to be over, they wanted a safe home for their sons and that was slowly becoming achievable.
"It's almost over." Derek told his wife as he pulled her into a hug, resting her head against his chest "Promise me to be careful out there?"
"I promise." Derek promised, smiling down at his wife hopefully "This isn't our first fight, we can beat him."
_
"He's your son." Melissa reminded him, walking past her ex as the elevator doors opened "He has to get his stubbornness from someone, Scott will forgive you."
Melissa gasped at the hallway, patients and doctors were injured, blood smeared up the walls all as a result from the Oni. Lincoln jumped into action as one approached them, slamming the button for the doors to shut.
Lincoln grabbed onto Melissa as his eyes landed on the scene in front of him, pulling her close as a Oni swiped at her leg "Get back!"
Melissa let out a scream as she fell back onto the floor, "Ow! What the hell is that?"
Lincoln rushed to her side as the elevator doors shut, checking her wound "I think it's poisonous."
"It hurts like hell. Oh, be careful." Melissa groaned as Lincoln applied pressure to the wound, crying out in pain as Lincoln watched her fearfully "I'm gonna get you out of here."
_
"It's me again, call me back right now." Lincoln hung up on Jason's answer phone, Melissa gazed up at him tiredly "Call the kids. Call the kids"
"You're gonna be alright." Lincoln promised, holding onto her hand as Melissa lay by his side "That's not what i mean."
"We need to get you up." Lincoln looked up for a way out, Melissa rested her hand shakily on his cheek, turning him to face her "Linc, listen to me."
"You're going to be fine." Lincoln tried taking some of her pain, but it didn't seem to fade "If something happens, you need to work it out with Scott - have him make up with Emilia."
"Melissa." Lincoln mumbled sadly, Melissa shook her head "He's a teenage boy he doesn't care about apologies, he wants you to do better and he probably wants you to suffer a little even though you already have. Promise me you'll make it work."
Lincoln couldn't even comprehend loosing Melissa, we wouldn't be able to cope - those years without her were hell. If worst comes to worst, Lincoln would give her the bite with no hesitation.
"Melissa!" Lincoln tried to shake her awake, staring at her tearfully as he lifted her into his arms, carrying her almost uncurious body out of the elevator that finally opened.
_
"Did you bring us a present?" Void Stiles spoke up, sitting on the steps entering the school.
"We brought two." Emilia stood by Derek's side as he placed the box of his mother's claws on the ground, the twins appearing behind them.
"I've heard of an Alpha pack, Derek, but not a pack of former Alphas. It's a little sad, isn't it?" Emilia moved to stand in front of Derek, glowing her eyes at void Stile "Not if you're wrong"
"I might not be an Alpha anymore, but I can still fight like one." Derek growled, charging at the Oni, Emilia followed not missing Void Stiles running away like a coward.
_
"Don't leave them again." Melissa mumbled weakly, Lincoln cried softly at her deathly state "Promise me?"
"You told me to leave." Lincoln sighed, pushing the hair away from her face as she blinked tiredly "I told you to leave the danger, not leave being a father. Make it up to them, they love you."
"I came back to make it up to you and the kids." Lincoln told her, Melissa smiled as her eyes closed "You don't have to make it up to me, Linc, i forgave you long ago."
Seconds passed like hours as Lincoln stood at Melissa's side with her hand in his, steadily taking her pain as much as he could. The alpha frowned at the blood dripping on her lips, looking round worriedly.
"Hey?" Lincoln fearfully wiped the blood away from her lips, calling down to a nurse at the end of the hallway "Hey there's blood on her lips? What does it mean! There's blood what does it mean!
"Please don't leave me." Lincoln whispered, holding her hand in his, pressing a kiss against it.
_
Emilia groaned pulling herself up from the ground, sliding against the wet floor as she looked up in surprise, watching Isaac appear at the top of the stairs, flipping down as Chris followed in suit. Emilia's eyes widened as Chris fired an arrow at one of the Oni, jumping back as it exploded into thin air.
"What was that?" Derek questioned in disbelief, ducking a hit from the Oni.
"Silver." Chris answered, tossing Emilia an arrow, the alpha caught it before slamming it into an approaching Oni's chest.
"Isaac, the box. Get the triskele box to Scott!" Derek called out to the teen, Isaac ran forward grabbing onto the box before running into the school.
Emilia looked round in shock as Ethan cried out, stumbling into Derek's arms as Aiden fell to the ground "Aiden!"
_
Lincoln stared down at Melissa tearfully as she lay unresponsive, clutching onto her hand hoping that she would show any signs of waking up. Melissa's eyes snapped open, Lincoln jumped as Melissa gasped, hugging her in relief as her wound from the sword healed. Melissa held onto Lincoln tightly, breathing heavily as he sighed in relief.
_
"Lydia never believed I was one of the good guys anyway." Aiden chuckled painfully, Emilia held onto Derek's hand tightly as he spoke to the omega "She'll believe me."
Emilia looked away sadly as Ethan cried over his brother, turning as doors slammed behind her and Derek. After spotting Isaac and Scott, Emilia rushed up the steps pulling them into a hug. Though it may not be humanly possible, after the past few months, Emilia was more protective over the boys than ever.
"You're both okay." Emilia breathed in relief, holding onto them tightly as Scott looked to his sister "I'm sorry, about getting mad at you and dad before."
Emilia shook her head, wanting nothing more than to see them safe "Its okay, it doesn't matter, not anymore."
_
Lincoln and Melissa stood from their chairs at dining room table as the front door opened, revealing a tearful and defeated Scott. Lincoln and Melissa rushed to hug their son, sharing nervous glances with each other over the grieving boy. Scott was in pain, it would be hard to deal with, but as a family they could do it. Lincoln planned on staying with Melissa and Scott for as long as they needed him to, and right now they needed him more than ever.

When Isaac told Emilia he wanted to go to france with Chris, she could've cried then and there, but she stayed strong knowing Isaac needed her now more than ever. After the way their lives had panned out, letting Isaac go was a problem she didn't want to face. But France was safe, meaning Isaac would be safe - it wasn't a risk, it was the right thing to do.
"It appears i have a problem with letting go." Emilia mumbled, wiping the tears that had already began to fall, leaning against Bennett's pram at the entrance of the airport.
Derek sighed, smiling at his wife sadly "You dont have a problem, you just care about people."
Emilia stepped forward as Isaac walked back to them with his ticket in hand, hugging him tightly before reluctantly letting him go "You know, not many people see it but Chris and i are pretty good friends. So just keep a eye on him, but you better take care of yourself, Isaac. Or else I'm flying to France and dragging you home myself."
"Its only a few months." Isaac smiled at her, Emilia frowned "I'm just going to miss you."
"I'm gonna miss you too, mom." Isaac moved to say goodbye to Derek and Bennett as Chris walked back over to Emilia, "Take care of my son, Chris."
"Of course." Chris nodded, smiling as Emilia began her mini rant "And please, no more hunting. Take your well needed break. I will find out if you're not using your trip for a real holiday!"
"Goodbye, Emilia." Chris laughed, shaking his head as he and Isaac walked to check in.
Emilia blinked away the flashback of Camden walking away in the airport, knowing history wasn't repeating itself - it was just her fears that were.
"Derek, i let him go." Emilia stated tearfully, clutching the pram handles tightly "Just like Camden."
Derek wrapped his arm around Emilia's shoulders, walking her out through the airport "Isaac is safe, we made sure of it."
_
Emilia jumped awake with a gasp, a loud bang sounding from downstairs, blinking nervously but calmed at the sight of Bennett fast asleep in his cot.
"Derek?" Emilia mumbled tiredly, switching on her lamp noticing her husbands missing figure.
Emilia moved to lay back down but glass shattering caused her to rush out of bed, pulling on her dressing gown before holding onto her son tightly, walking out of her room in search of the noise.
"Charlie?" Emilia turned, hugging Bennett closer to her dressing gown as Charlie walked out of his room looking round in confusion.
"You heard that too?" Charlie questioned, holding Bennett carefully as Emilia placed him in Charlie's arms.
Emilia nodded, quietly walking through the house as Charlie followed closely behind, stopping at the bottom of the staircase as Emilia approached the broken window by the front door - a plank of wood lying amongst the glass.
Charlie watched over Emilia's shoulder as she knelt down to pick up the wood, "What is it?"
Emilia rushed to the window with the wood in hand, her eyes widening as a dark hooded figure walked away into the distance. The alpha looked down to the wood sadly, tracing her hands against the carving in the wood "Camden?"
"Why would someone throw Camden's plaque through the window?" Charlie questioned, guiding Emilia away from the window.
"I think someones trying to get our attention." Emilia wondered, "Why else would they go to the person that means the most to us all?"
Emilia jumped as the wind whistled through the broken window, stepping forward in search of her husband in the dark living room, frowning as he was nowhere to be found, the only heartbeats in the house belonging to the trio and the dog.
"Derek?" Emilia called out, turning to Charlie in concern to the silence "Where the hell is he?"
