JB's the first one to reach the dorm. When he went to collect the keys in the reception, he was told that they're going to use the same rooms as last semester.
He reached his room, the colors in the room were changed giving him new flavours for a new beginning. He setup his luggage and lied down on his bed. After a few hours, Bambam reached the room barging about the flights as they were delayed and he ended up waiting in the airport. Yugyeom also reached the room not long after.
It's 3PM, 3 boys had their lunch, Bambam and Yugyeom were playing with each other and talking about their holidays. JB tracked the flight Youngjae's supposed to reach, which landed about 2 hours ago, Youngjae's supposed to be here by now. JB waited in the room for sometime sharing his holiday moments with the other 2, who're almost cuddling with each other. He thought it would be better to leave those two alone cause they missed each other a lot over the last month, so he went to Youngjae's room and waited there.
Thought started flowing in his head about Youngjae and he also started thinking, how Youngjae will react after seeing him or how he'll react after seeing Youngjae, how should he confess to the other, how will the other react to his confession, obviously he'll agree... right... RIGHT... What if he says no? There are chances. What if he really doesn't agree? Should I confess or not?
He slept again with all these thoughts. At 7PM Bambam and Yugyeom came to him and they all had dinner. After that, JB came back to the room to check if Youngjae came whereas the other 2 left to go the ice cream parlor near the school. JB waited in the room for sometime for Youngjae until his legs started hurting, then went down to the benches on the way to the rooms, he walked, he sat, he watched videos in his phone, but Youngjae still didn't show up for the next 2 hours.
He reached the dorms at 11PM with his big trolley and bag looking exhausted that he cannot even take another step forward. JB ran to him and took his luggage freeing Youngjae from the burden. "Hey," JB said enthusiastically, "Hey..." Youngjae said frowning and walked away. JB understood that Youngjae was tired, so he didn't ask him any questions about his travel or holidays. "Did you eat something? Shall I get you anything to eat?" that's was a caring boyfriend would ask and so did JB. "Yes. I had a proper meal. I'm tired of travelling. Don't bring anything now, I'll just go sleep." Youngjae answered and went to shower. JB set Youngjae's bags in the room and he sat on Yugyeom's bed waiting for Youngjae to come back and have a little talk or at least a view of him. It's been a month since he saw the other and he missed him so much.
Youngjae came back after getting ready, he fell on the bed without giving a moment, then he asked JB, "How are you? How were your holidays?"
"I'm good. My mom and dad were happy to see me after 6 months and they were sad to send me off for another 6 months. I played a lot... " JB stopped answering when he heard a sound, It was Youngjae's quiet breathing and he could hear little snores coming out too. He covered Youngjae with a blanket, gave him a small kiss on his forehead, "and I missed you a lot." he said finishing his sentence before he went back to bed. He couldn't sleep due to jetlag so he browsed through the TV in mute so he wouldn't disturb Youngjae.
The next day, JB woke up to see Youngjae still sleeping. He went back to his room without disturbing Youngjae. All three got ready to go to class, Yugyeom woke Youngjae up before they went to the food court to ask him to get ready. JB picked a sandwich parcel for Youngjae, after they're done with their breakfast.
Class was about to start in another 5 minutes, Bambam, Yugyeom and JB were sitting in their usual places next to each other with a spot next to JB left empty for Youngjae. Just before the class started, Youngjae entered the classroom, he saw his friends in 10th row waiting for him, he took a step to go there but then he stopped and sat in the second row. All three got shocked and they looked at each other to know if anyone knows anything on what's happening with Youngjae.
When the bell rang, Youngjae got up with his books and started to exit the class. JB went fast to catch him, he gave the sandwich that he took during breakfast. Youngjae gave him a dull slime, "Thank you Jaebum. Will catch up with you later." and that's all he said before he left the place. "Jaebum?" JB said confused because Youngjae usually calls him JB or Bummie.
He didn't join for lunch too. When all classes were over, JB ran to the dorm to find Youngjae but he wasn't there. He called Youngjae who never picked up. He waited till midnight for him in his room but the other didn't come, he feel asleep waiting.
The next day, Youngjae went to class early to surprise everyone, he was more active compared to the previous day and sat next to JB in their usual places. While classes were still in session, they spoke using the scrapbook about how they spent the holidays. JB tried to bring up the topic of how he missed Youngjae, but he didn't seem to be interested in that topic and didn't answer it. Whenever it was mentioned he would find a way to change the topic. JB continued mentioning it to Youngjae without doubting a word about it.
While eating lunch, Youngjae got a call. His face was bright while he saw the name on his phone. It said Sweety. "Hey Sweety! How was your day?" He started the call. JB didn't show much interest in the call until he heard Youngjae saying, "Yesterday was awesome, it's one of my best nights so far, thank you for letting me stay with you..." Bambam and Yugyeom were also in complete shock whereas JB was lost in some thoughts, he was totally speechless. To make things worse Youngjae ended the call saying, "Love you lots Sweety. Take care, Bye." They finished their lunch and reached their classes by then and the bell even rang to indicate the start of class.
"Who was that you were speaking with at lunch?," Yugyeom asked.
YJ: My cousin. She's a girl who I loved my whole life.
YG: Is she your lover?
YJ: Well, not exactly. We loved each other when we were kids.
JB: How come we never knew about her being almost in the same room?
BB and YG: Right? How?
YJ: We were asked not to talk to each other until we graduate from high school and get placed in a good college in areas of our interest. That's why, her entrance exam and the result happened after our college started so we didn't talk then. She came to meet me only when I went home for the holidays.
BB: Is that why you were missing 2 days? Because of her?
YJ: Yes, she's here. Studying in a medical college.
YG: When are you introducing her to us?
YJ: She also wants to meet you guys. I'll try and plan it this weekend.
In this whole conversation, the one thing Youngjae didn't see were the tears rolling down JB's cheeks. He couldn't see anything, after many years, again JB's crying for Youngjae, yes, the last time he cried was because of Youngjae.

The weekend came, it's time for the 3 boys to meet the girl of Youngjae's life. When they all met, Youngjae introduced her to everyone. Sweety gave handshakes to Bambam and Yugyeom and hugged JB. Youngjae pulled her away, with a strong expression on his face. Bambam and Yugyeom smiled looking at each other. JB started to feel that something was wrong, really wrong... They went to the same place where JB and Youngjae went for the movie date, they played there for sometime, Youngjae and Sweety were in the same team for most games, she paired up with JB for a few. Yugyeom suggested to go to the haunted house. Sweety looked at Youngjae for an answer, but JB answered before him, "No! Let's go for lunch I'm hungry." "Food court is that way." Youngjae left the place without saying or letting others say another word.
Lunch was peaceful with telling jokes and teasing, JB was still trying to get used to the view of Youngjae being close to a... girl. What's so surprising about it? Of course he's straight, he would definitely go for a girl. You're the one who's misunderstood a friend, JB thought. But, but, BUT, Sweety took a piece of chicken in her chopsticks and fed Youngjae, Youngjae fed her in return, this continued with every new dish they had, she served him, and she took care of him as if he was her husband. Every time the sharing happened, JB's heart stopped for a beat.
After lunch, they planned to go for a movie. Youngjae went to buy the tickets for all of them. When Youngjae was gone, Sweety showed childhood pics from her phone and explaining each picture's story. They saw a pic that looked recent, Youngjae and Sweety were cutting a cake and then they fed each other at the same time, Youngjae had a really big smile on his face. It looked like a celebration. "What occasion is this?" Yugyeom asked curiously.
"Oh this? This was our engagement" Sweety told without a blink.
Time stopped for a few seconds for everyone. "You both got engaged?! When?!" Yugyeom and Bambam asked in sync.
"This holidays. You guys didn't know? Guys please don't talk about this with Youngjae. He wants to tell you guys himself, well, at least I think so. If he knows that I told you then he'd kill me for sure." Sweety pleaded. "Ok, we won't tell him. We'll wait to see how long he'll take to tell us the news." Yugyeom ensured.
JB was heartbroken. JB couldn't control his tears so he left the place and rushed over to the washroom. When he was back from the washroom, Sweety stopped him, "JB I need help from you. Can I talk to you alone?" "Sure Sweety."
Sweety asked JB, "I didn't give any gift to Youngjae after the engagement. I want to give him something. I don't know the shopping malls and other stores here. Can you help me please?"
JB didn't know what to say, he wanted to avoid the question, but he had no choice cause he was alone there and was actually concerned. " Ok, I'll come. When do you want to go?" Sweety suggested, "Tomorrow, shall we meet for lunch?" JB nodded in agreement. "Thank you so much JB!" Sweety hugged JB and kissed JB on his cheek, JB looked at her in shock when she pulled away.
Youngjae saw everything from a distance and was shocked to death.
