So quietly, I sit alone,

Thinking about my life,

In this empty home,

So quickly, I rush to say,

I'm fine,

Don't worry, okay?

So heartbroken, I always reply,

It's not important,

So don't ask why,

So sad, I won't say,

I don't matter anyway,

And, such a lie,

Said to my face,

"You don't deserve this",

Just go away,

I can't stand that lie.
