The drive home was the quickest ride of my life, and when Stiles dropped off Isaac and I at the loft, my stomach began to churn.
Something wasn't right, and I prayed I was over-thinking things, but my gut was telling me otherwise.
I waved off Stiles and Scott as they drove off and grabbed my suitcase. "You okay babe?"
It took me a moment to comprehend Isaac was talking to me and gave him a quick nod and continued to walk up the alleyway.
Once we were inside Derek greeted the both of us and hugs were exchanged between Erica and Boyd. "Glad to have you back guys." Derek nodded and crossed his arms over his chest.
Boyd quickly filled us both on how quiet Beacon Hills was while we were gone and that only made the feeling in my gut grow tighter. "Thanks for letting us know." I smiled to Boyd.
Isaac and I both turned to go our rooms when Derek quickly spoke, "Just before you guys go, Hayley there is something I need to tell you." I snapped my body back around to him and gulped hearing the serious tone deepen in his voice, I knew something was wrong.
"It's your Aunt Katherine, there was an accident."
I rushed through the doors of the hospital and knew I had outrun the others. Sprinting to the front desk I found out her room number and sprinted again to the room she was in.
I ripped open the door and began panting when I saw her eyes open and Mrs McCall by her side having what seemed to be a lovely conversation before I rudely barged in. "Hayley, are you okay?" Mrs McCall worriedly asked. Ignoring her I pushed past her and embraced Aunt Katherine into a hug.
"What's going on?" Scott's Mum asked again.
"She didn't let me finish explaining to her what happened with her Aunt." Derek's voice rung in the background.
After finally letting go of my Aunt I was informed on the situation that took place while we were out of town. Derek explained to me how, one night while she was washing the dishes someone had thrown a large rock through the window of her house. Glass shattered all over her, and luckily a neighbour had heard and rushed her to the hospital.
They continued to explain how she had some deep gashes and minor internal bleeding since the rock had hit her in the head, and when she fell her head then hit the counter. However, now she is stable and hopefully will make a slow recovery. She had an upcoming surgery in two days and they should be able to fix the damage.
My heart was still racing after they filled me in and Isaac had been holding my hand the entire time. "So she is going to be okay?" I double-checked with Mrs McCall.
She smiled warmly, "Yes it looks like it. I'll give you a moment with her." Derek and her then exited.
"You okay? You're heart is beating 100 miles per hour." He asked me and linked eyes with me.
"Y-yeah I'm doing okay, thanks."
"You too are adorable." My Aunt spoke up and I jumped slightly realising she was listening to everything.
I began to blush as Isaac kissed my head, "I'll wait outside,"
I walked over and sat down closer to her before I held her hand in mine. "You really scared me," I confessed.
"I'll be fine Hayley, you worry too much."
"How can I not worry when you're the only family I have left. I'm not losing you too." I felt my eyes tear up slightly.
She kissed my hand that was intertwined with hers, "I'm not going anywhere, but Isaac, he is your family too. He cares a lot about you."
"Yeah I know,"
"Your friends are your family as well, don't forget that." I smiled at her and rubbed her hand with my thumb.
"I won't..."

The next two days flew by and Aunt Katherine was given the all clear for her surgery. She was going to pull through and I couldn't be happier...
Actually I probably could because sitting in maths class was seriously affecting my happy mood, and the class hadn't even started yet.
Stiles slowly walked through the class doors and I started bursting out with laughter, "Shut it Hayley," He scolded me.
"Hey tomato," I smirked and took in his bright red face and neck. He slumped down beside me and his face scrunched up in pain, "wow the sunburn that bad?"
"Yes!" He raised his voice.
"How did you manage that, you were the one who lathered his body in sunscreen more than any of us."
He flung his hands in the air and slammed them onto the table, "I know-ouch." He groaned.
I grabbed the hem of his red long-sleeve flannel and pulled it back to reveal his red arms. "You are going to get skin cancer Stilinski."
"You don't think I know that. According to Dr Google, I most likely have a skin disease that means I'm allergic to the sun, or I'm pregnant."
I burst out laughing at him, "Really Dr Google, do you know how unreliable that is?"
"I think it is legit." He sarcastically stated and I laughed once again.
My laughter stopped abruptly when the teacher walked in and gave me a dark glare. I sat and prayed that today would be a good lesson.
Eventually classes finished and I found myself sitting next to Lydia in the cafeteria waiting for the others. "Have you seen Stiles!?" Lydia stated and an evil smirked played on her face.
"He came into Maths class and looked like a red M&M." I giggled and Lydia slapped my shoulder while she was in fits off laughter.
"I'm guessing we are laughing over Stiles." Scott greeted us as he sat down with his lunch tray.
I nodded, "You know it."
"Ha, I kept heckling him on the way to school when he picked me up." Scott informed us and we all laughed together.
"I'll be back, I'm going to go get my food." I left the table and walked over to the small line that was forming.
I grabbed a slice of pizza and some grapes, before heading back to the others and saw them laughing at Stiles who had a frown on his face.
Feeling a smirk form on my face I walked over and sat back down beside Lydia, "Woah Stiles almost didn't see you there, your camouflage is too good when you wear that red flannel."
"Can you all shut up!" He yelled and we all stopped and stared at him before we burst out laughing again.
"Okay, okay sorry Stiles, but could you please do us all a favour and tell us your secrets on how to have flawless skin like yours." Isaac teased.
He scoffed and threw his bag across the table at Scott and the laughter was infectious throughout the rest of lunch.
When the day finally finished I grabbed my bag and finished packing my books and other necessities into it before meeting Isaac at the car. "Hello my love," I smiled and stood on my toes to kiss him.
"Well you're in a happy mood." He beamed and kissed me again.
"Well I've had a good day,"
He opened the car door for me and I slide into the seat before he soon joined me on the other side. "We have to go pick up something for Derek, but I-uh kind of forgot what it was. Let me quickly call him." He told me and I got out my phone and scrolled through my social media.
A few seconds later Isaac groaned and pulled the phone away from his ear, "He didn't answer."
"Just call Boyd then." He nodded and began to dial his number.
"Yeah hey Boyd, do you know what Derek wanted because-" Isaac stopped suddenly listening to what Boyd was saying.
I had put my phone down trying to figure out why Isaac's face had become so serious. He then hung up the phone and curiosity got the better of me, "What's wrong?"
"There was an incident with Peter and his Mental Wolves at the hospital. They got hurt pretty bad. They had all split up into different wards of the hospital to fight them off. Eventually everything stopped and they found Derek who told them to go home." He paused to take a breath.
A sudden all too familiar pounding sensation rushed to my head and my hands clutched it tightly. Isaac was immediately at my aid, "Vision?"
"Yes," I groaned and found myself in the middle of the Beacon Hills hospital.
My head snapped right to left and I felt drawn to the left corridor that I suddenly decided to sprint down. Patients and doctors brushed through my body and I found Mrs McCall outside a room talking to a very injured Derek.
He was wearing a white tank that had blood smeared in places and scratches down his neck and arms. He looked sorrowful and sadness consumed his face as Mrs McCall tried to comfort him. I walked closer till I was standing near them. I saw their lips moving but couldn't hear anything they were saying, I felt deaf.
I tried to get a closer look into the window of the room they were standing outside off but it was blurry and could only see the outline of a person lying in the bed.
I took in a sharp intake as my eyes squinted adjusting to the sunlight of being back in the real world again. "You okay?" Isaac asked.
"Yeah I-just, I knew something wasn't right and Derek was injured and someone is in hospital and-" I rushed.
"Whoa calm down Hales, explain to me what happened." So I did, I explained to him what I saw and how I felt.
It wasn't long till I was back at the hospital and Isaac was clutching my hand as we walked to my Aunt's room. My stomach sank when Derek and Mrs McCall stood in the exact position they were in my vision.
Déjà vu erupted throughout me and I felt a horrific flood of panic run through me. I rushed over to the two of them and their heads snapped to mine.
"Hayley,"
"What's going on?" I mumbled.
Derek's head dropped, "Your Aunt, she..."
Their words drifted out and a white noise rung in my head before I heard, "didn't make it..."
My.World.Stopped.
My knees trembled and I looked through the window of her room to see it go blurry just like it did in my vision.
My hands shook and I was frozen. I didn't know how to react, how to speak, how to hear.
I felt faint, nauseous. I wanted to cry to scream, but my lungs filled with invisible water.
I pushed past and opened the door, a clean white sheet was lifted over her body and the heart monitor was silent.
Everything.Was.Silent.
I turned to look out the door, tears wanting to form in my eyes but I pushed back the pain my body was fighting to release. Isaac's eyes went to mine and he pulled me into a hug. My arms were limp and didn't respond.
I pretended for a second she wasn't dead and pushed the thought of her being gone out of my mind to focus on speaking one sentence. Forcing myself to string words together.
"What happened," I bluntly asked.
Derek's eyes met mine, "There was an attack at the hospital, Peter and some fully turned Mental Wolves were here as well causing havoc. Erica and Boyd were here helping me protect the patients and the doctors. I was guarding this floor and was focused on protecting your Aunt when I saw Peter come out of the elevator accompanied by some of his fully turned wolves. He had this smirk on his face, this smirk that was dark and evil. He then said to me, 'let this be a warning to Hayley if she ever tries to double-cross me'. His wolves grabbed me and forced me to watch him walk in and slit her throat." He blurted out.
My breath hitched when he mentioned those last words. I didn't know how to respond, I turned back and looked into her room. She was gone all because of one man.
"Hayley, please say something." Isaac asked and he grabbed my hands.
I did not know what to do.
I.Was.Numb
I had no feeling anymore, but one thing I knew I had to do was kill Peter and this time I was going to make sure he stayed dead once and for all.
