Negotiating was apparently, out of the question.
With the sudden change of scene back at the sub, you guys were probably thinking that Sora was still standing and staring dumbfounded like an idiot.
Well, you're not entirely wrong.
Sora had her jaw slightly opened as the infamous redheaded pirate smirked at her expression. "You went aboard the wrong ship, woman."
It's not like she did it on purpose. But of course, Sora couldn't say that out loud.
The brunette knitted her eyebrows and clenched her jaw. Taking on such a guy and the whole crew without her sword seemed ridiculous. Sure, if it were just any normal and weak pirate, she can just use physical combat but...
Closing her hand into a fist, Sora thought of a plan while tightening her guard. Being surrounded was a pain, and she wasn't sure which side would attack first.
Their captain's smirk melted into a frown when the girl didn't say a word. "What, can't you talk? Or are you scared?"
Sora did what she did best, and that is, annoying the hell out of people.
The brunette didn't reply and thought of a plan to get through her current situation.
Her silence made the redhead annoyed. "Oi, didn't you hear me?" He started walking towards the brunette, who quickly decided to go with her impromptu plan.
"What's that?!" She blurted out, pointing at her right.
Luckily, the whole crew, including their captain, followed her fingers automatically and whipped their heads to the direction.
Her plan went so well, Sora almost doubted what happened. This strategy sure is effective against idiots.
Before they could realize that they were duped, Sora bolted towards the door. The captain was still looking away, which gave the girl a chance to shove him off.
Sora exited the kitchen and went straight across the deck and reached the hull.
The girl stared at down at the sea water below and scowled. It was nighttime, the worst time to take a swim. But if she wanted to live, it was the only way.
Sora placed both hands on the railings and leaped onto the air, bracing herself for the cold water.
——except that feeling never came.
Something cold and hard wrapped itself onto Sora's body, gripping her so hard she felt as if her organs would pop out.
The girl let out a short cry of pain as the metallic hand dragged her back onto the deck, throwing her harshly on the floor but still wrapped around her.
Sora struggled as she heard numerous footsteps coming nearer. Tilting her head up, she saw the redhead captain looking down at her with a malicious smirk.
"You're not gonna get away after that, woman."

Sora woke up and found herself locked in a cell with handcuffs on. At least she wasn't dead, which was a point added in her list of 'Times I wasn't killed even though I should've been'.
To start with, Sora first looked around her to see if she was alone, and if there were any cell prison-escaping-potential-object she could use.
Unfortunately, just as she dreaded, there were none of those. The space was so dark you could barely see your own palms if you place them right in your face. Sora couldn't see what was in front of the cell, but she assumed it must've been a door, since it was the only space left.
Sora let out a sigh before leaning against the cold wall behind her.
Great, so all I have to do is wait for anyone to come here? Geez, the least those guys should've done was give me a cell mate to talk to.
Right at that second, a door opened a few steps in front of the cell and a bit of sunlight passed through, blinding Sora which caused her to squint. A silhouette of a man stood in the doorway before the door itself closed, engulfing the room in darkness again.
Sora heard footsteps coming nearer and stopped right in front of the cell.
"What are you doing here?" The man asked. The brunette recognized that voice very well as much as she'd recognize the smell of strawberries.
"Nothing," Came her reply. "I just accidentally stumbled here while swimming."
She could feel the confusion in the man's voice as he asked again. "Swimming? Across the Grand Line?"
"I didn't do it on purpose!" She defended, which was then followed with silence.
"...Whatever," He said. "When we reach an island, we'll hand you over to the marines, Wind Summoner. Best to prepare yourself until then."
Sora frowned. "Aren't you guys pirates? You'll get yourselves captured if you do that."
As if this was the time to worry about the wellbeing of someone else's.
"There's a million ways to hand you over without getting captured ourselves." The man replied. "Sorry but, landing yourself on our ship was a mistake on your part."
Sora heard shuffling followed by footsteps. After saying those things, the bastard was leaving? What a guy.
"Oi." She called out and the footsteps stopped. "At least light up a torch in here."
She heard another set of footsteps after a few seconds of silence and after a while, a torch was indeed lighted up on the wall.
Sora could finally see the man she was talking to. The guy was wearing a mask full of holes and his light blond hair cascaded down his back. Oh man, those Victoria's Secret's models would kill to have that kind of hair.
Without a word, Killer turned and exited the room.
Sora leaned against the wall behind her. With her hands handcuffed in front, it wasn't that hard to find a comfortable position as she waits to be handed over to the marines.
Yeah, right. Like she'd wait that long.
The brunette looked down at her hands and shook them a bit, rattling the handcuffs. Getting them out of her wrist would be tricky.
After observing the room long enough, Sora could say that the Kid pirates weren't that stupid to leave their keys hanging somewhere on the walls where their prisoners could easily reach out to it.
Plan D was to escape now and jump off the ship, but apparently, she couldn't do that with her body like this.
Which led the girl to proceed to plan E: Wreak havoc upon reaching land.
The moment those guys'll lead her outside, she'd start kicking and punching. That sounds pretty simple too work, but it was her best shot. No way was she going down without a fight.
Actually, she was thinking about kicking Kid in the balls before she'd go, too. That would be the best way to die.
In the mean time, looks like Sora has nothing else to do but wait. Which was, in her dictionary, means the same as torture. Who knows how long till they reach the next island?
The girl considered sleeping to pass time, but instead of wasting time like that, she decided to look for other ways to escape.
Sora stood up and walked over to the metal bars. The girl lifted her leg and kicked it, which resulted in a jolt of pain running up her leg.
The brunette crouched and sputtered a number of curses which would've made nuns wash her mouth a bar of soap all day long.
After recovering from the pain, Sora backed away from the bars, bracing herself before launching towards it.
The girl leaped and raised both legs to kick the metal bars. Upon making contact, it only made as far as rattling, and Sora fell down on her back on the floor, panting.
She never tried kicking metal before, but one thing for sure was that it definitely hurts like hell (As if that wasn't obvious enough).

"Any sign?" Clive yelled over at Penguin, who surfaced from underwater, wearing a snorkel.
Penguin shook his head in response. Clive groaned and slid his palm down his face in utter frustration.
The crew retraced their path and several crew members would dive in to check. They were searching for a few hours now. Law, Natsu and Bepo were inside whereas the rest searched out on deck, looking for any sign for the girl.
At this point, the only reasonable answer left kept floating in each of the member's mind, yet none of them voiced it out to the others. Since 'reasonable' really didn't go hand-in-hand with Sora, they wanted to believe that she was alive.
Clive bit his lip as he stared out into the sea.
Sora, you have to be okay.

"What did the woman say?" Kid questioned the moment Killer entered the dining room. It was early morning and the majority of the crew was gathered around the dining table. With the sudden appearance of an intruder, they were on their guard as some of them searched the rest of the ship for any accomplices.
"She said she stumbled onto our ship by accident." Killer replied and took a seat across Kid.
The redheaded captain scoffed, leaning against the chair. "'Accident' my ass. And she expects me to believe that?"
Killer shrugged. "Why don't you ask her?"
Kid gave him a glare before changing the subject. "You say she has a bounty?"
"Yeah," The blond nodded. "On top of that, there were some sightings of her being together with the Heart Pirates."
At the mention of his rival pirate gang, the captain's expression turned into a smirk. "Oh? We hit a jackpot, then."
A jackpot indeed. Right after saying those words, they heard the sound of a cannon going off and landed with a huge splash, causing their ship to lurch sideways.
The table they sat around skidded to the right along with several chairs as the pirates crashed into one another and into the floor.
"Get off me, dude!"
"Shut up! I'm trying!"
Kid cursed and ordered his men to come with him as they made their way outside.
Upon reaching the deck, the pirates were met with a huge warship right in front of their ship. Why haven't they noticed something so large like this?
"Surrender, pirates!"
Again with the navy's useless persuasion skills.
Kid smirked as he muttered under his breath, "Yeah, right."
