Callie POV
As I waited for Arizona to come to the front of the hospital, I ran over in my mind what happened earlier. Arizona loved me. I was so worried she would hate me for leaving and that she would never forgive me. My phone buzzed.
Arizona: Meredith took Sofia home with her. She is having a sleepover with Zola. I'm not sure I'm ready to see Sofia just yet...
I looked at Arizona's text. Why wouldn't she be ready to see Sofia?
"Callie!"
She waved across the parking lot to me.
I ran over to her and embraced her.
"Hey Arizona."
"Want to walk to Joe's?"
"Arizona, I do, but I need to ask you something. You said you weren't ready to see Sofia yet. How come?"
She hesitated. "Callie, I wanted to spend the weekend with you. I wanted Sofia to wait a little bit because I know how hyper she gets when I visit. Especially before you moved away."
"Okay, I was just wondering. I didn't want Sofia just being completely exempted from our lives. I was worried you didn't want to see her because you just... didn't."
Arizona shook her head. "Oh no no no Callie. I honestly think it's better Sofia stay with Mer and Zola for the weekend." She winked at me and chuckled.
We crossed the street and heading over to Joe's. Arizona then took my hand into hers. She gave it a squeeze, then we walked hand in hand down the sidewalk.
As we arrived at Joe's, I found a place for us to sit at the bar. "Two vodka shots please." Arizona said to the bartender. I quickly noticed that Dr. Bailey was having a date with her husband Ben, in a corner table. I looked away, hopefully they didn't notice Arizona was here with me.
The vodka shots came by. I downed mine and so did Arizona. We ordered four more shots for each of us, and both drank em down. Eventually, I ordered a beer for Arizona and for me. We drank those too. More beers. By that time, I could tell I was getting tipsy.
"Callie come with me." Arizona said. She was really drunk. She pulled my hand, and dragged me outside. There was hardly anyone on the street. We started walking back towards the hospital, a little wobbly.
"Excuse me?!"
I turned around.
"Ma'am you forgot to pay for your drinks."
I looked at the bartender. "Here's some cash." I pulled my wallet out, grabbed a few bucks, and threw them at him. "There."
"Ma'am that isn't enough."
I stared at him. "Well that's what I've got on me. I'll pay you later, my girlfriend and I need each other now, so you will have to wait."
He submitted and walked back into the bar.
We continued down the street. Suddenly, we were at her car, parked in the hospital parking lot.
"No Arizona."
"Callie."
"I'll call a cab."
"No Callie. Don't."
"Arizona, neither of us should drive."
"Callie."
"What Arizona?!"
"We aren't driving."
"Oh."
And she pulled me close to her. She intertwined her legs with mine. I felt her breathing inches from my face. "We aren't driving," she said again, then sent her lips crashing into mine. We started kissing. I felt for the back door handle and opened it. Still kissing, I dragged her into the back of the car.
I closed the car door from the inside. She was below me and I was straddling her. I leaned down and kept kissing her; hard, lovingly, but also lustfully. Arizona started kissing me more. I grabbed her by the coat she was wearing and began to slide it off of her. She made a small noise. I stopped.
"Callie, I love you. Please don't stop. I know it's a first date but I love you. Don't stop. Please."
I continued to pull her coat off and she started kissing my collarbone. She pulled me closer to her and pulled my jacket off. I reached under the back of her shirt, just like I had done earlier that day. I felt her smooth skin, hot, but smooth. It made me kiss her harder. She pulled my shirt off. I stopped for a second again.
"Arizona."
"Callie, come here, I need you right now. I want to do this right now in this car. You hear me?"
Callie stared into Arizona's dilated pupils.
"What happens in this car stays in this car."
I pushed her against the seat, and began to kiss her neck. I could tell she really liked it. She gasped, just a little. Then she stopped. She pushed me over so I was on bottom and started kissing me harder than ever before. "Arizona I need you to do something right now."
"What?" She was out of breath.
I looked at her. I just stared.
She knew what I wanted. I didn't have to say.
She began kissing me again.
Xxxx
I screamed.
Arizona was smiling at me.
I was out of breath. I hoped the windows were tinted on the car from the outside and nobody heard me.
"Arizona..."
"You know it's my turn now."
I began kissing her again.
Xxxx
"Callie...oh my god!" She threw her head back.
I stopped her from talking.
She was in a trance.
"Arizona lets go home. I can drive I'm not tipsy anymore."
"Okay, let me rest a minute Callie."
I put my clothes back on again. "I'm not sure why we did this in your car."
Arizona smiled at me. "Remember what happens in this car stays in this car."
She got dressed.
I hopped into the drivers seat. It was 10:00 PM. Thank god tomorrow was Saturday. I was so tired.
As we arrived at her house, I slowly lowered Arizona out of the back seat. She had fallen asleep. I picked her up and carried her inside. She started to stir. "Arizona, go back to sleep. No need to wake up." I gently laid her down on her bed. She still had the bed we both shared when I was her beloved wife.
"Arizona?"
"Yeah, what is it," she said sleepily.
"Is it alright if I sleep next to you, or are we not at that point yet?"
"Callie, don't be silly-"
"I'm not! I...I just wasn't sure if you were okay with that."
"Callie, I love you. Why wouldn't it be okay? You are my love. It's fine."
I hesitated. Changing into my pjs, I climbed under the covers with her.
"Goodnight Arizona."
"Goodnight Callie."
She turned around to give me a soft peck on my forehead.
"I love you."
