Aunt Fritzi asked Nancy what she remembered about previous Christmases. Nancy replied, "When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things are done best by tiptoeing. We may have been tiptoeing upon eggshells, with wolves at the window asking for a special tiptoe ballet for the wolf children. However, we settled into position around the tree – presents sprawled around the living room, and said that the wolf children could come and watch us tiptoe around the presents, instead, where it was warm and cozy. And there would be a special Christmas pasta for them to eat afterwards!"
