Kuroko the Racer
A/N: Okay, so, sudden inspiration! It was like a bolt of lightning! [Okay, so maybe it was because I watched Wreck-It-Ralph and loved one the songs] So... yeah, made this idea into a one-shot. Might think of using this idea for another full story.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own KNB. All characters except for mine belong to their owner.
Also, it would be cooler if you imagine the whole thing in your head. :)

Third Person's POV
After High school, strangely enough, the Generation of Miracles once again joined the same college, this time with Kagami, as well as some new friends, Takao, Tatsuya and Sakurai.
They now play basketball together with their new friends, and coaches, Riko and Hyuuga.
They were once again known as the best basketball team in Japan.
And they were currently now in the gym, practicing for the upcoming Winter Cup.
"Oi! Bakagami! That was my pass from Tetsu!" Aomine yelled.
"No, that pass was for me, Ahomine!" Kagami returned.
"Kurokochii, pass to me more!" Kise whined. "Stop passing so much to Kagamichii and Aominechii!"
"Shut up Kise!" Aomine and Kagami yelled.
And that was how they started arguing and fighting one another.
"Uh... do I get a say in this?" Kuroko asked, with Midorima, Akashi and Murasakibara by his side.
"I find this absolutely idiotic, nanodayo," Midorima sighed.
"This is very familiar," Akashi deadpanned.
"Eh... I'm hungry," Murasakibara said.
Hyuuga was suddenly by them, and he punched all three of them in the head. "You morons! Stop fighting and get back to the game!"
"Hai, hai," they answered, rubbing their heads.
Takao was snickering by the side, while Tatsuya was looking at them in amusement. "We've been playing together for nearly a year now, and Taiga still fights over who gets Kuroko-kun's pass?" he said.
"S-Shut up Tatsuya! That was clearly a pass for me!" Kagami said.
"No! That was for me!"
"You... BAKAS!" Riko suddenly shouted and punched them all. She was ticked. "Get back to practice!"
"Yes mam," they answered.
"Looks like even Dai-chan can't go against Riko-san, even after all this time," Momoi said, sweat-dropped.
"Yes, Aida is definitely someone who can handle them. We would have been lucky if we went to the same middle school together," Akashi said, sweat-dropped as well.
"She is really scary," Sakurai shivered. "Ah! Sumimasen!"
"Ryou, please stop saying sorry in every single sentence you say," Akashi sighed.
"Sorry! I mean, yes, sorry!"
Lines behind everyone as he kept bowing, saying sorry. He still hasn't changed that much. Not that anyone else did too.
Riko whistled. "Alright! Now back to the game!"
"HAI!"
*****
Practice ended, and they were all cleaning up before they started heading home. The sun was already setting.
"Oi, where's Tetsu?" Aomine asked.
"He said he had something to do, so he went off first," Riko answered.
"Aw... Kurokochii never said goodbye," Kise whined.
"Tetsuya did say goodbye while you were arguing with Daiki and Taiga," Akashi said.
"Oh."
"I wonder why he left. He usually stays till the very end," Kagami said.
"True. Kuroko is always a hard worker, nanodayo," Midorima continued.
"Maybe he has something to do at home?" Takao suggested.
"Come to think of it, we've never actually been to his house before. He always declined," Kagami said.
"Well, Kuroko has never been one to open up about himself," Hyuuga continued.
"Hm..." Riko said, thinking, then smiling a little. Everyone knew that look.
"Riko, whatever you're thinking, stop. It is a bad idea," Hyuuga voiced out everyone's thoughts.
"Come on! Aren't any of you curious to what Kuroko's family background is like?" she asked. They went silent.
"Well, I guess, I am a little bit curious," Kagami finally answered for them.
"Then it's settled! Hurry up! We're going after him!" Riko said, whistling.
"Akashi, are you going along with this?" Midorima asked.
"I don't see why not. We might find something interesting," he answered. Midorima just sighed. Murasakibara just continued munching on his potato chips.
"Shin-chan, don't act like you don't want to do this," Takao snickered.
"Atsushi, you're coming with us, aren't you?" Tatsuya asked.
"Eh... if Aka-chin and Muro-chin are going, then I guess I'll go," he answered, taking another bite.
"Yay! We're going to stalk Kurokochii!"
"Don't say it like that! It sounds creepy!" Kagami yelled.
"But it's true...ssu~"
"I-I feel like we're going to invade Kuroko-kun's privacy," Sakurai stuttered. "Sorry it's not my place to say!"
"No we're not, Sakurai," Aomine answered. "We're just on a mission to follow him to learn more about our teammate. See?"
"That's still stalking," Momoi answered.
"Hurry up or we're going to lose him!" Riko said, wearing a pair of binoculars around her neck.
"Yeah, right, it's already hard enough to keep track of him," Kagami sighed, before he followed everyone out of the gym.
*****
They found him walking to the college carpark. What had surprised them was that he had changed into a different outfit from what he was wearing earlier.
He wore a white hoodie, a dark blue vest jacket, and jeans, with blue white sneakers. Damn...
"Whoa... Is it just me, or does Kurokochii look different?" Kise asked.
"It's definitely not just you," Hyuuga answered. Takao had his phone out and was snapping pictures. Momoi had fainted, and Aomine was holding her up, while trying to wake her up.
"Who is he waiting for?" Sakurai asked.
Kuroko was standing by the side, looking down at his phone.
"Look, a car just stopped in front of him," Tatsuya said. They watched as a sleek car came up. It was an expensive looking car, and it looked... super cool!
And out-stepped... Kuroko? They stared as a taller version of Kuroko smiled at their shorter one.
"Damn, we won't be able to hear what they're saying from here," Aomine said.
"Don't worry, I've got that covered," Riko said, before pulling out a small device. "With this, we'll be able to hear their conversation even from here."
"You had planned on doing this the whole time, didn't you?" Hyuuga deadpanned.
"Why would you think that?" Riko winked. Lines behind everyone.
"At least she came prepared," Akashi answered.
Riko turned on the device, and they all quietened down to listen to what the conversation was.
*****
Kuroko waited by the carpark, looking down at his phone. He should be here by now, he thought.
Just then, a sleek black car drove up. Kuroko wore a slight smile as it stopped in front of him, and out stepped... Kuroko Takaru, his brother.
His brother was definitely taller than he was, but they both had the same teal colour hair and eyes. He was three years older than Kuroko.
Takaru smirked. "Yo Tetsu."
"Onii-san," Kuroko greeted. He then looked at the car. "I see you've gotten a new car."
"Yup. Sweet, isn't she?" Takaru patted the car. "Got her from one of those punks who thought they could actually beat me." He looked at the car lovingly. "She's a beauty. Her name's Hikari," he sighed.
If Kuroko didn't know better, he would say that his brother had fallen in love with the car. He might as well marry it.
"Oh, I heard you had to send Daku to the garage. How did you even crash him?" Takaru asked. Daku was Kuroko's very own car.
"His engine was rigged. They couldn't save him. He's out of order," Kuroko sighed. "He was losing effectiveness anyway." That car had been a beauty! He loved it, but it crashed, and he had no choice but to send it to the dumpster.
"Damn, that's just sad. You loved Daku," his brother sympathised. "Bet the one who rigged him was jealous."
"The culprit has been dealt with," Kuroko answered, turning a little pissed. "His own car has been trashed."
"Can't wait to hear all about it," Takaru laughed.
"How have you been, onii-san?" Kuroko asked. "I heard you won a few races while on tour."
His brother, Kuroko Takaru was a professional racer. He travelled around the world joining multiple races, and has won quite a few of them. He was rather well-known in the racing world.
Of course, he doesn't just stick to official races. There were also a few street races in which he participated... without anyone but Tetsuya knowing.
"Yup. Pretty fun," Takaru said. "But I'm going to be back in Japan for a while."
"So, why did you call me here?" Kuroko asked. His brother had suddenly texted him that he was back in town, and had told Kuroko to meet him here.
"Well... I heard that there's a race tonight, and I was wondering if my little bro wants to come with me?" he smirked. "Heard that he might be there."
Kuroko didn't answer at that. Instead, he just got into the passenger seat. Takaru smirked. Of course Tetsuya would go after hearing that.
*****
"Eh... Kurokochii has a brother?!"
"Race? Cars? Huh?!"
"Who's Daku anyway?!"
"Hurry! Get into your cars! We have to follow them!" Riko yelled as soon as the car drove off.
"Kuroko has a brother?!?" Aomine, Kise and Kagami were still going on about it.
They all got into their respective cars, and drove after them. Aomine, Momoi and Sakurai took Aomine's car. Kagami, Kise and Tatsuya took Kagami's car. Akashi, Murasakibara, Midorima and Takao got into Akashi's car. And Hyuuga and Riko took Hyuuga's.
They made sure to stay behind to not get caught, but close enough to not lose them. They made sure to stay in contact through their phones.
"They're turning right," Momoi said through her phone.
"Wait, isn't this the way out of town?" Tatsuya asked.
"Hm... interesting," Riko answered.
"Indeed," Akashi said.
*****
Takaru stopped his car, and the two Kurokos got out.
They were out of town, a little way from the city, and were close to a dumpster. The place was filled with junk, including car spare parts, but the place was also filled with a lot of people. Most of these people were thugs, punks, and ruffians.
It was a street race. There were cars all lining up along the start of a path.
"Whoo," Takaru whistled. "Didn't know that there were this many people coming."
Takaru had explained to Kuroko what the event was going to be about. They were going to have consecutive races, all with different prizes.
"Looks like my race about to start," Takaru said, before he got in his car again to go to the starting line. "Tetsu, I'll see you after."
"Good luck."
"Pft, yeah right," he smirked. "I'll leave them in the dust."
Then he drove off to the starting line. Kuroko just put his hood up before making his way to the front of the crowd to watch the race.
*****
"Whoa, what is this place?" Aomine asked. They were a dumpster, and there were many people with punk-like looks staring/glaring at them.
"Looks like some sort of street race," Kise answered.
"Is this even legal?" Kagami asked.
"I don't think so," Takao replied.
"Eh... What is Kurochin doing here?" Murasakibara asked.
"Looks like Kuroko has gotten himself into some serious business," Midorima concluded.
"Hm... Where is he?" Akashi asked.
"There," Takao said, looking around the place, and spotted Kuroko.
"That Hawk Eye is pretty handy," Tatsuya commented.
"Hehe, thanks," Takao grinned.
"Let's go," Akashi ordered, before they started going to meet Kuroko.
*****
Kuroko watched as his brother traded words with the organiser, a big man, with tattoos all over, and a cunning look in his eyes. Takaru pulled out a bunch of money, his fee to enter the race. Winner takes all the money.
No one knew who his brother was, which was a good thing. With his v-neck shirt and jeans, everyone just thought he was some goody-two-shoes who wanted to try his luck in a race. Most underestimate his brother because of his looks.
Kuroko was looking around, searching for the man he came here for.
"Ohoh, well, if it isn't Kuroko," a voice said behind him. Kuroko turned to see a few familiar people.
"Oh, the invisible guy is here," another said.
"Imayoshi-kun, Hanamiya-kun," Kuroko greeted.
"Oh please, we don't need to use honorifics here," Imayoshi laughed.
"It's disgusting," Hanamiya followed. Kuroko didn't answer at that.
"So, are you here to enter a race?" Imayoshi asked.
"No, I don't have a car," Kuroko answered.
"Ah, right, that had been one nasty crash," Imayoshi sighed. He and Hanamiya had gone to the same college. The two hang out quite often, usually at these street races.
The two had met Kuroko once at a street race a year ago, and now, they usually see each other at these street races.
"You should have taken that bastards car," Hanamiya commented.
"I would rather die than drive his car," Kuroko deadpanned.
Imayoshi laughed. "Of course that would be you."
Just then, a voice exclaimed behind them. "OI! What the hell are you doing here?!"
They turned to see... Aomine pointing at them in shock. Imayoshi smiled. "Aomine! Nice to see you again! You're here too I see Sakurai."
"H-Hai!"
"What are you doing here?! And with that guy!"
Hanamiya just rolled his eyes. "Looks like these guys came too," he said, clearly irritated. "How annoying."
"Ah, Hanamiya and I were just here to look at the races," Imayoshi smiled. "We met Kuroko here."
"And that's another thing! Tetsu! What the hell?!"
"Aomine-kun, and... everyone else," Kuroko said, his eyes widening a little in shock.
"Oh my, so you didn't tell them?" Imayoshi smiled, his small eyes holding an amused gleam. Hanamiya smirked.
"Of course you wouldn't," he snickered. "Some teammate you are."
Kuroko just gave him a deadpanned expression. "What are you guys doing here?" he asked them.
"What are we doing here?! The real question is, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Kagami yelled.
"Tetsuya, please explain to us why you are in such a place," Akashi asked.
"Edo..." Kuroko looked away, unsure on what to say. He looked at Imayoshi and Hanamiya for hep, who only smirked. Of course they're no help whatsoever.
Just then they heard a loud buzzer sound throughout the whole place. "Racers, to your cars! The first race is about to begin."
"Oh, Takaru is in this one right?" Imayoshi asked Kuroko.
"Hai, he needed the extra money," Kuroko answered.
"Wait, who?" Hyuuga asked.
"His brother, idiot, who else?" Hanamiya answered.
"Bastard," Hyuuga answered, ticked off.
"Now, now, let's not start a fight here, okay?" Imayoshi said, smiling.
"You're so annoying," Hanamiya retorted.
Just then, the cars all revved their engines. "Oh, it's starting."
A lady went to the middle of the road, with two race track flags in her hands. "On your mark! Get set! Go!" the announcer yelled, and the girl swished her flags, and...
VROOOOM!
They were off! The race had started.
They watched as the cool-silver-looking Hikari sped off, leaving her opponents in the dust trail behind.
"As expected, Takaru is in the lead. Of course that should be easy for a professional," Imayoshi smiled.
"Eh?! Kuroko! Your brother is a professional racer?!" Kagami asked.
"Yes."
"And you never told us?!" Aomine asked. "Come on! We've known you for like 7 years man!"
"You never asked."
They sighed at that. Of course.
They watched the cars race off, taking in sharp turns, and fighting to be first. It was over quick. The sleek silver car came first, and the crowd cheered.
They watched the older version of Kuroko Tetsuya smile as he took the prize money with the other racers glaring at him.
They walked over to him as he counted the money.
"That was quick," Kuroko said. And Takaru jumped.
"Tetsu! Where did you come from?!"
"I just got here."
Black lines behind everyone. Even his own family doesn't notice him!
"Ah, gomen. Look at all this cash! Good haul," he smirked, playing with the notes.
"You raised the bet, didn't you onii-san," Kuroko deadpanned. Takaru smirked.
"But of course. You need to invest to get more back," he said. "Besides, they were all just amateurs."
"Actually, there were racers who have been racing in these street races for years," Imayoshi said.
It was then Takaru noticed the people with Kuroko. "EH?!" he jumped again. "Where did you guys come from?!"
More lines. Black background.
"Wow..." they said in unison. -_-
"Looks like he doesn't have observant eyes like Kuroko," Takao said.
"No, he doesn't," Kuroko answered, lines also behind him.
"Ouch," Takaru feint hurt. "You wound me Tetsu."
"Stop with the sarcasm, onii-san," Kuroko deadpanned.
"Of course little bro," he smiled.
Wow, they're personalities are nothing alike! They all thought.
"So you guys must be Tetsu's teammates?" he asked, looking at them. "Well, except for Imayoshi and Hanamiya."
"Yes, I am Akashi Seijuro. Pleasure to meet you," Akashi said, bowing.
"Ah, yes, Akashi. Heard a lot about you from Tetsu," Taraku said. "And you would be Kagami, Aomine, Kise, Midorima, Murasakibara, Tatsuya, Takao, Sakurai, Momoi – the manager – and the coaches, Riko and Hyuuga. I'm Kuroko Takaru, nice to meet you all."
"Same here," Kagami answered for them.
"Oh, Tetsuya, did you hear?" Takaru said, looking at him again. "It seems that they have a special race coming up. And guess what the prize is?"
"What?"
"That," he said, pointing his thumb at a car by the side. They gaped at the black, sleek, cool, and awesome car.
"That's..." Kuroko didn't finish. He was also looking at the car, in awe, in his own little way.
"That's right. It's the same model as Daku, but totally new version, with higher specs too," Takaru smirked. "They're giving that out as a prize to the last race. But of course you have to pay the entrance fee. Almost everyone here is joining for that."
"How much is the entrance fee?" Kuroko asked.
"It's 50,000 yen," Takaru answered.
"That's a lot," Imayoshi whistled.
"You have to pay to enter a race?" Kagami asked.
"Duh, dumbass, how else do you think the organisers earn money?" Hanamiya asked, rolling his eyes.
"Onii-san, I need to lend some money," Kuroko said, holding out his hand.
The others, except for Imayoshi, Hanamiya and Takaru looked at him in shocked. "Wait, you're entering the race, Kurokochii?" Kise asked.
"Yes."
"Of course, why else do you think I raised the bet?" he smirked, handing Kuroko five ten-thousand yen notes. But Kuroko still had his hand out. "Eh? There's 50,000 here."
"I still need a car," he said.
"NO WAY!" Takaru yelled, causing everyone to jump at the sudden outburst. "You are not driving Hikari! Only I can drive her!"
"Hm..." Kuroko thought. Then he looked at the people standing behind him. "Kagami-kun."
"Huh?"
"May I borrow your car?" Kuroko asked.
"HUH?!" He stared at Kuroko in shock. "You can't be serious Kuroko!"
"I am very serious Kagami-kun. I want that car," Kuroko said with his usual blank stare.
"F-Fine! But you better not leave a single scratch on it," Kagami said, handing Kuroko the keys.
"I promise."
Just as Kuroko was about to go, someone else came up.
"Well, well, if it isn't Kuroko Tetsuya," someone sneered.
"Akuro Haresu," Kuroko said coldly in return, shocking nearly everyone.
The guy was taller than Kuroko. He had black hair, narrow black eyes, and a mean nasty glare.
"You showed up I see, even after your car was crashed," Akuro smirked.
"If I hadn't known better, you were the one who put the guy up to it," Kuroko answered.
"Now why would I do that?" Akuro asked, still smirking. "But you see that car?" He pointed at the prize car. "That's going to be my new ride once I rip it away from your weak little hands."
"We'll see about that," Kuroko answered, challengingly. The Generation of Miracles, and the rest could feel the tension between the two as they glared at one another.
"Hey, who's that?" Tatsuya asked.
"H-He looks scary," Sakurai stuttered.
"That would be Akuro Haresu. He and Kuroko have been at each other's neck since day one," Imoyshi said grimly, not a usual expression you see on his face.
"That annoying bastard is trouble," Hanamiya growled.
"Whoa, coming from you, he must really be bad," Hyuuga said, glaring at him.
"Looks like you've got some more friends with you today," Akuro said, looking at them. "Good, more people for me to humiliate you in front of."
"You shouldn't be talking big when you haven't won yet," Kuroko said, turning away. "And it'll be me who wins the race, and get the car."
"We'll see about that," Akuro answered, smirking. Then he also left, walking over to a dark red car.
"H-Hey, that guy seems dangerous! Will Kuroko be okay?!" Kagami asked.
"Tetsu will be fine," Takaru said, smirking. "He's a Kuroko after all."
"Okay, and what about my car?" Kagami asked.
"Oh... I can't say anything about that."
"WHAT?!?"
*****
Kuroko sat in Kagami's car, a bright red one. He was lined up with the other cars along the road, waiting for the race to start.
There were 10 cars racing.
Akuro's dark red one was next to him. The two glared at each other threw the window. Kuroko faced forward, waiting for the announcer to start the race.
It had been a while since he raced. The last time was a few months back, when Daku had been rigged and had crashed. He had broken his arm, but other than that, was fine. This would be the first time in a while, and he was also driving an unfamiliar car.
But he wasn't going to back down from that obvious challenge.
The girl walked into the middle of the road. She waved her flags. "Attention everyone, the final race is about to begin! The winner will win a brand new car, courtesy to yours truly. Now! Racers! Start your engine!"
Kuroko revved the engine.
"On your mark!"
His hands tightened around the wheel.
"Get set!"
He gripped the gear.
"Go!"
VROOOOOM!!!!
He slammed the gas pedal down, and he zoomed past. He had started a second late, and he was already in 8th place.
He furrowed his brows when he saw that the dark red car was all the way at the front. "Tch."
He moved the gear, and picked up speed.
He passed the black car that was in front of him and the next one easily.
They came to a turn, and while others slowed down to avoid a collision, Kuroko kept going, turning effortlessly.
He passed the 5th car at that turn.
The silver car in front of him was making sure that Kuroko would not pass him, always staying in front of Kuroko.
The terrain coming up was littered with trash, and the cars were all zig-zagging to avoid hitting any of the debris.
Kuroko had one hand of the steering wheel, and the other hand on the gear. He expertly avoided all the debris, and passed the silver car in front.
*****
"Whoa! The car is just zig-zagging all around, and he's definitely not slowing down," Kise exclaimed.
"Damn, Tetsu," Aomine said in awe. Kagami, Hyuuga, Riko, Takao and Tatsuya were in awe as well.
"I'm impressed," Akashi said. Midorima and Murasakibara were watching in silence.
"His control of the car is really good," Sakurai commented. Momoi nodded.
"Of course, he's my brother after all," Takaru winked.
"Go Kurokochii!" Kise cheered.
*****
After passing through the path with debris, along the way, Kuroko had passed another car. And now, he was in 3rd place.
The path then started widening even more, but there were more debris. He passed another car at another turn, still not slowing down at all.
And now...
He was neck and neck with Akuro.
They were two-thirds through the race.
He glanced at the car from the corner of his eyes, and saw that Akuro was doing the same. He stepped on the gas pedal even more, and he started to pull ahead of the dark red car.
Apparently, Akuro had the same idea, and they were tied again, both not easing off the speed, not even a little.
Just then...
*****
"OI!! That bastard! What's he doing?!" Aomine yelled.
"He's trying to push Tetsu off the road!" Takaru exclaimed.
They watched the dark red car going in closer and closer towards the red car, and each time Kuroko tried moving away, he was moving closer towards the edge of the path, plus, the path was narrowing again. There were also high dirt walls now by the sides of the road.
"Is that even allowed?" Midorima asked.
"Unfortunately, yes," Imayoshi said.
"This is street racing. There're no rules," Hanamiya continued.
"You mean they can do whatever they want?!" Hyuuga asked.
"As long as you're in a race and in a car, yeah," Takaru answered grimly.
"What the hell was Kuroko thinking?!" Kagami yelled.
"It was a challenge. And we Kuroko's hate losing," Takaru said. "Don't worry, Tetsu will be fine."
*****
"Tch."
Kuroko was doing his best not to hit the dirt walls. He tried speeding up, but just couldn't pass Akuro.
Of course he would play dirty.
He watched as the red car got ready for one last lunge towards his car. Two options. One, pull back, and not be able to pass him again. Two, stay and withstand the hit.
Kagami-kun would kill me if I take option two. I promised not a scratch.
Then, he spotted something ahead. It was a diverged path from the racing path. He knew this place well, and he knew this path was longer and more dangerous than the race path they were on.
Well, there are no rules.
Just as the red car came in, Kuroko abruptly turned the wheel, and he twisted into the other path.
*****
Akuro smirked. He'll crash on that path. Looks like I win. Let's finish this.
He slammed the gas pedal and sped up, towards the finish line.
*****
Kuroko quickly sped up as well. If he was going to get to the finish line before Akuro, he was going to have to keep going faster.
The path he was on had way more turns than the normal one. At each and every turn, he didn't slow down at all, expertly doing really quick cut turns.
The walls had disappeared, and he could see the finish line.
He smiled, and he slammed the gas pedal.
*****
The dark red car was speeding along the straight road, making a bee-line for the finish line, certain that it was going to win.
Until...
BOOM!
A car of a brighter shade of red suddenly appeared on in front of it, having cut in from a different road.
"That little piece of shit!" Akuro shouted, before he moved up so that the two cars were neck and neck again.
"I'm not going to let you win so easily," Kuroko said, before he sped up.
Though they were both neck and neck, Kuroko was obviously ahead, even though it was little. The road was now slightly raised, and there were ditches on both sides.
Akuro then just suddenly tried ramming his car into Kuroko's, once again going to try to knock Kuroko off.
But, what he didn't suspect was that, just as he rammed to the side, Kuroko slowed down. Akuro barely missed hitting Kuroko, and had almost gotten thrown off the road with his own momentum.
He quickly slowed down to take back control of his car.
Kuroko used that moment, and passed Akuro's car, and with that,
He won.
*****
He stepped off his car, and was immediately bombarded with questions and punches.
"That was amazing Kurokochii!" Kise exclaimed.
"Where'd you learn how to drive like that?" Aomine asked, holding him in a headlock.
"You never cease to surprise me Tetsuya," Akashi said.
"Well done Kurochin."
"That was some fine driving over there," Midorima said.
"Man! You could actually become a professional racer!" Takao said.
"Makes you wonder why you chose to play basketball," Tatasuya laughed, agreeing with Takao. Sakurai nodded.
"Fancy driving as always, Kuroko," Imayoshi smiled. Hanamiya didn't say anything.
"Tetsu-kun! You were so cool!" Momoi exclaimed, hugging Kuroko.
"Wow Kuroko," Hyuuga and Riko said.
"Haha, my little brother is amazing, isn't he?" Takaru asked proudly. "Of course I taught him everything that he knows."
"No you didn't," Kuroko denied.
"Yes, I did," Takaru replied.
"No you didn't."
"Yes, I-."
"I'll have my revenge Kuroko!" Akuro was suddenly next to them, glaring at Kuroko. "This is just one win, so don't get on your high horse!" Then he left, getting in his car, and driving off.
"I really don't like that guy," Takaru said.
"Same," everyone said in unison.
"That was pretty awesome," Kagami said, looking at Kuroko again. Kuroko dropped the car's keys in his hands.
"Not a single scratch," Kuroko said.
"You bastard," Kagami grinned, before punching Kuroko in the shoulder.
"You did well," the organiser said, appearing by their side, smiling, which, surprisingly didn't look as terrifying as they thought it. "Here's your new ride." The organiser dropped the keys in Kuroko's palm.
Kuroko was smiling brightly as he walked over to his new car.
"Daku 2.0," he named it. He got in and placed the keys in the ignition. The black car's engine came to life. "Onii-san?"
"Huh?"
"Wanna go?" he asked, smirking slightly.
"You're on Tetsu!"
*****
"I win~!" Takaru cheered in a sing-song voice.
"Shut up onii-san," Kuroko said, grumbling a little.
"Well, he is a professional," Akashi said.
"Hey, I'm hungry, let's go get some food!" Takaru said. "My treat!" He had won a few other races, raising all the bets of course, and winning himself a fortune.
"You brother is awesome!" Takao laughed.
"Free food!" Murasakibara yelled.
"Let's go!" Aomine said.
"Yeah!"
And they all headed over to Maji Burger.
*****
"That was one eventful night," Takaru smiled as they all stood outside of Maji Burger. "I had fun with all of you. So worth the trip back."
"You're going back to America already?" Tetsuya asked.
"Yup, gotta race soon," Takaru smirked. He handed Tetsuya the remaining prize money he had. "Go get some upgrades on Daku, and make sure no one rigs him again, got it? Just so you know, this is your late birthday present."
"Thank you onii-san."
"Also, all of you, make sure you win the Inter-High, and go onto a national competition, and I'll be sure to come cheer for you all," he winked at the rest of them.
"Hai!"
He got into his car, and waved before speeding off.
There was silence, until Kuroko turned, looking at them with that serious look.
"So... who's idea was it to follow me?"
~~~~~
That was long though.... about 5000 words.
I might think of making it into a full book or write a part with an X reader-chan one-shot.
So yeah... Tell me what you think about it in the comments box XD
Keep on reading and watch anime!
