Hey guys! Long time no see! I had gotten caught up in personal issues and then the holidays. Hope everyone enjoyed and had a good time 😊.
Here's the final epilogue for the book. I'll be posting a final author's note containing information about the sequel. For now, enjoy!

>>>> 4 months later
[KIRAN POV]
Since our engagement, I began working longer hours to start saving up for our wedding. Roman and I started talking about what kind of wedding we wanted and it sounded to me that he was planning on paying for everything but I wasn't going to let him do that. We didn't have anything set in stone yet but we were speculating on wedding themes, venues, and most importantly — location. Roman was open to getting married anywhere in the world, even though I assumed he would pick Florida since his family lived there.
After four long months of being placed on midcard level, the company finally started bringing Roman back up to main event status. In December, he was set to face off Sheamus for the WWE championship and it looked like they were going to give it to him this time since he'd been booked pretty strong for the last couple of weeks. Dean on the other hand was also ascending in his career as he finally captured the intercontinental title.
Speaking of Dean, it had been a good few days since Roman or I had seen him. Even at work, the only time we saw him was on the monitor for his match and then he'd just dissapear after, making up some excuse that he had to go do something important. It was very unlike him but today I was going to catch him before he ran off. The guys had a house show and I got to sit at ringside with Dr. Amann as first responder, something I'd been wanting to do for a long time. I wasn't sure if I was going to be kept as a first responder but for now I was thankful for the opportunity and I got to see my boys in person rather than through a monitor. After the main event, I caught up to Dean just as he was heading back to his locker room.
"Hey Dean! Wait up!"
"What's up?" He stopped and turned around while throwing his towel around his neck.
"Where are you heading off to? We don't even get to see you anymore, let alone hang out. What's going on with you?"
"Sorry, I know I've been busy lately with personal things, I hope you're not mad at me..."
"No I'm not, but I'd like to get a little bit of time to hang out with my best friend atleast once a week, if that's not too much to ask? You're drifting off from us..."
"I know, I've been neglecting you and Roman lately, and I'm sorry for that. We definitely need to make more time to hang out and catch up."
"How about dinner tonight, right after you shower and get changed? Roman's ready, he was just doing some fan signings."
"Dinner with you and Roman? Sounds good....uh....do you mind if I bring a friend along?" He asked nervously.
"A friend?....Sure. I'll text you the address of the restaurant and we'll meet you guys there."
"Sounds good."
As I was heading back to my belongings, I wondered who Dean was planning on bringing and why he sounded so nervous and hesitant while talking to me. I had to hurry up and get dressed in Roman's locker where my stuff was. The anticipation was killing me, this had to be a special person for Dean to be acting the way he was and for him to invite them to our dinner. He never mentioned if it was a guy or a girl so I had nothing to get excited about just yet.
I slipped into a black dress and inspected it in the large mirror to see how it looked. At that moment, Roman walked in and immediately had his eyes drawn on my dress with a lustful smile forming across his lips. He slowly walked up behind me and pushed my hair to one side as he zipped up the back of the dress and planted a kiss on my neck.
"Does this look okay on me?" I nervously asked as I felt chills going down my neck while Roman brushed his fingers down my bare arms.
"Babe....it's not the dress that makes you look good, you're the one who looks beautiful and you make the dress look beautiful."
"Aw Roman, you're so sweet."
His arms went around my waist and stared at us in in the mirror. He looked so perfect and we looked so perfect together. I couldn't believe I was going to be marrying this hunk in a few months. We had been through so much in the past two years but we only came out stronger in the end.
>>>>> That evening at dinner
Roman and I were the first ones to arrive at the restaurant. Of course Roman couldn't slip by without being recognized and bombarded for pictures and autographs. I kept to the side while he tended to his fans and made sure each person got a picture. We took seats in a private booth and started looking at the menu while waiting for Dean and his friend.
"Did Dean mention who he was bringing along?" Roman asked while looking up from the menu.
"Nope, but I'm thinking it's a girl."
"What makes you say that? I'm sure he would have told one of us something that he's going out with someone."
"But the thing is he didn't. That's why he's been dissapearing after work these past couple of days."
"You girls jump to conclusions so fast I tell you." He shook his head.
Surely enough, a few moments later, Dean was making his way towards us while interlocking arms with a blonde chick. Both Roman and I glanced at each other in surprise before turning back to Dean.
"Hey guys, sorry we're late, hope we didn't keep you waiting for too long." Dean spoke as he sat down across from me, letting his friend go into the booth seat first.
"It's fine, we were just going over the menu, but we didn't order yet." Roman replied.
"Great. Well, I want to introduce you guys to Carmella. Carmella, this is Roman, I'm sure you've heard about him at work, and this is Kiran, Roman's fiancé. She also works on the medical team for our company."
Roman and I greeted Carmella with a smile, which she warmly returned back. I had seen her a couple of times around at work when she was with NXT but recently she had gotten called up to the main roster. Dean didn't exactly mention what the relationship was or if they were just friends, but from their interactions throughout the evening— it seemed like they were a lot more than just friends. Roman was still processing this whole thing; he was rather quiet through dinner, just making small talk with us. Carmella was also on the quiet side for the most part, except for when she would laugh at every one of Dean's jokes. Dean and I were carrying the conversation, and I did happen to take notice that Carmella was quite observant of me and would carefully listen to each and every word I'd say. Not that it was a bad thing, it was just something that was hard to ignore.
After we were done eating, Roman wanted to head back to the hotel room to get some rest. He was exhausted from a long work day and I didn't blame him for wanting to cut the night short. We let Dean and Carmella stay back as we got out of the booth. I hugged Dean goodnight and said bye to Carmella before leaving with Roman.
[DEAN POV]
After saying goodnight to the other two, I went back to Carmella and sat down beside her. She had an off look on her face, which was weird because just a couple of minutes ago she was fine.
"Hey, everything good?"
"Yeah...fine." She pulled out her purse and started reapplying lipstick and was checking out her face in her compact mirror.
"So....what did you think of Roman and Kiran? I know you're a little disconnected from everyone because you guys just met. Give them some time and I'm sure you'll gel right in with us." I reassured her.
"No, it's not that. You have some great friends who are really caring about you. And I already know Roman is pretty much like your brother. You guys have known each other since you started working together in FCW."
"Yeah, we go back a long way—"
"I was curious though, how long have you known Kiran for?"
"Kiran? I've known her for about two years now. I think it was her first day on the job when we bumped into her, Roman wouldn't shut up about her. And the funny thing was that when he was around her, he wouldn't talk to her. Once we started traveling together, that's when we all became good friends and that was when Roman started dating Kiran."
"Oh okay..." Carmella's response was flat compared to the way she asked about Kiran in the first place. I guess my answer was satisfactory for her to accept it and move on.
I was quite happy about our dining experience tonight with Roman and Kiran. It looked like everyone was going to get along just fine — which was going to be important, especially if Carmella were to start traveling with us. I wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page before I made any decisions. After ordering a second round of dessert, I dropped off Carmella to her hotel room before heading back to my own for the night.
[KIRAN POV]
As soon as we reached our room, Roman stripped down to his boxers and fell straight into bed, not even bothering to pull the covers over himself. After changing into my night clothes and removing all my makeup, I climbed into bed beside Roman, pulling the covers over us and placing his arm over me.
"So what do you think about Dean and his new friend?"
"She seems okay, but I think they're just friends, so don't get too excited."
"Well I think they're more than just friends, didn't you hear how she was laughing at every little joke he made? That says a lot." I turned around and faced him.
"That just means Dean's a funny guy.....anyways, lets leave all that for now. I just want to snuggle up into you and go to sleep."
He slightly lowered himself down the bed until his head was in my arms, resting against my chest. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders while he had his wrapped around my waist and dozed off. I planted a soft kiss on his forehead before drifting off to sleep as well.
