Harry's POV

When I came around, I was lying on the couch, my head pounding from the fall. I groaned, trying to get up, and my vision blurred.

I heard voices. Familiar voices.

''Do you think he's okay?''

''I don't know. He usually looks after me.''

''Pfft... Malfoys.''

Sitting up, I rubbed my eyes and rubbed my forehead. I looked to the chair nearest to me and there, in all his long-haired glory sat Sirius: or, at least, the painting of him. Draco sat on the arm of the chair next to him and shared the exact same worried expression. I would have laughed if my head didn't feel like a ton of bricks.

"Good, you're okay." Draco let out a sigh of relief and pushed himself up from the chair, walking over to me.

"Yeah, fine." I tried not to let the fact that my head was pounding so loudly that I could barely hear them show. "You're the sick one, you should have the couch."

He looked at me, unamused. "You just fainted, Harry, I'm pretty sure that's worse."

"You're not going to make fun of me fainting, are you? Like in third year with those dementors." I let out a small laugh, wondering how on earth we had gone from that to dating.

He cracked the smallest of smiles, though the worriedness stayed visable in his eyes. "No, I'm pretty sure that this is understandable, since you just saw your godfather for the first time since he... well."

I shook my head in wonderment, looking over at the painting. Sirius smiled at me. "I didn't even know that he had any paintings made of him."

"Well, I couldn't just die without leaving something for you to remember me by. I had it done a couple months before the fight at the Ministry. It's not my fault your friends took so long to find this painting." He frowned, his painted eyebrows pulling together. "God, it was so boring. All I could do was stare at the wall of the room I was in and sleep."

"Why didn't you tell me? That you had a painting?"

"Well that would've ruined the surprise!" He spread his arms out happily. "It's good to see you, Harry."

"You too."

Draco got up. "I'll leave you two to talk."

"Get some rest!" I called after him as he stepped onto the stairs.

"Fine, mother." I could hear the smirk in his voice, and it made me grin uncontrollably.

When the footsteps faded, Sirius smiled at me. "You really love him, don't you?"

"Love?" I coughed. I had been, well, obsessed with him forever and I liked him more than anyone else I had ever dated, but love was such a huge word.

"Yeah. You look at him the way James looked at Lily. All disgustingly sweet and caringly."

"I'm guessing you didn't do that kind of thing?"

"Nah. Love is for weaklings. Just quick flings for me."

I smiled unhappily. "God, Sirius, why did you have to leave?"

"Well, I didn't choose to." He replied, looking just as sad.

"Well, I missed you."

"Missed you too, Harry." he smiled. "Even if you did end up dating a Malfoy."

I instantly felt defensive. "What's wrong with Draco?"

He put up his hands. "Joking, Harry. Look at you, all protective."

"Yeah, well." I settled back into the couch. "He is my boyfriend."

"Seriously, though. You picked a fine boy. His father, though, well he was something else."

"Woah. What?"

"Hey, I experimented. Like I said, though, only flings."

I rubbed my temples. It was enough that I suddenly had my godfather back (or the painting of him), but now he was springing all of these unknown things onto me... maybe if I had known he had 'experimented' I would've been more comfortable coming out sooner. Maybe I would've found a way to ease Ron into the idea better, so that we would still be talking.

"So, you and Draco. How long?"

"Only a couple of days now, officially."

He raised his eyebrows. "And you're already living together?"

"We've been living together for over half a year." I smiled tiredly. "It's a long story."

"Well, tell me."

I grabbed Snowflake from the floor, and nestled her into my lap, and got started on explaining the complicated evens and coincidences that had led to living together, then friendship, and now romance. Sirius was, like always, an amazing listener, nodding and smiling and winking at me whenever it was appropriate.

"And how did you get past the whole hating each other thing? Or at least the pretense of it?"

"A sugar rush and Peter Pan."

He squinted at me but seemed to decide not to ask. "And now you're adopting pets."

I shrugged. "He wanted a kitten."

"When's the marriage?"

I jumped and looked at him, confused. Snowflake meowed, disgruntled, and jumped off of my lap, presumably to find Draco. "What marriage?"

"Come on. You're already settled down with him and you seemed to have been into him for years: and I can tell you're in love, even if you don't know it yourself. I'm pretty sure you're ready for marriage."

I laughed. "I'm impulsive, but not that much. We haven't even gone on a proper date yet."

"Your parents rushed into it too."

"Are you trying to get me married to the first person you see?"

"I'm trying to get you married to the guy you love."

"You don't know that. What if we end up having a fight?"

"Do you know how often your parents fought?" Sirius shook his head. "Twice a day, at least. It was worse when they had you and had to choose a name: Lily didn't talk to James for a week. But they loved each other more than anyone I know... except for possibly you and Draco."

"I'm not talking about this anymore."

"Fine. But when you end up getting married I get to say 'I told you so'."

"Deal." I conceeded, and the conversation lapsed into silence.

Finally he spoke again. "Well, I'm glad you've settled down, even if you won't grow a pair and propose. I should've, while I was alive. You should try to learn from me and live as much as you can before anything happens."

"I survived the war, so I think I should be good."

"That's what I'm hoping for." he grinned. "So where are you planing on hanging me?"

I bit my lip and glanced around. "I don't know. We're renting from a muggle so if she drops in... well, I don't think she'd be used to moving paintings. It would have to be somewhere private... I don't know, my bedroom?"

He shook his head. "No thanks. Watching people sleep is just a bit too creepy for me."

"A bathroom?"

He looked at me dryly. "Do you really think that's any less creepy?"

I laughed. "Okay, not a bathroom. We really don't have a lot of rooms, though, it's a small house. Would you be fine with a closet?"

Sirius rolled his eyes. "I'm not to happy about staring at an empty wall all day again, but if that's all you have, I guess I should take it. Better than a bathroom, right?"

"Maybe there'd be a way for us to make it more interesting or something. I could set up a TV or something in there."

He nodded. "That'd be great. Or maybe get me some sort kind of company? A painting with someone hot?"

"I'll see what I can do."

It didn't take long to clear out the closet in the hallway and set him up comfortably. It was a bit larger than an average closet, luckily, so I was also able to squeeze a chair in there for when I wanted to talk to him. When I was satisfied with my work, I stayed and chatted with my godfather for a while, getting him caught up with the events from his death. Remus's death, especially, upset him, and I swear I could see him blinking away tears.

When I finally left, I went to make supper for myself and my boyfriend who was still in bed, presumably asleep. It gave me time to think more about the advice my godfather had given me about Draco, and though the idea of rushing into it was terrifying, it was still awesome that someone thought that it would be a good idea for us to get married.

I shook my head to myself, a small smile lighting up my face. Marriage. Who would've thought that my dead godfather would be advising me to marry my 'enemy', whom I had been complaining about for years.

Well, first we would have to do this whole dating thing right.

Author's Note:

I am so sorry. Seriously, you all must hate me. It's been like three months and I haven't posted a thing.

To be honest, I have been really busy, and so has Amarah, so this chapter actually isn't edited (though she wrote the first couple of paragraphs, which are amazing). As always, please don't be afraid to give me negative feedback (as well as the awesome positive feedback, which makes me unbelievably happy). I really want to improve in my writing to make this story the best I can, so constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Oh, and the Wattpad user @JoeyHotDangGraceffa recently asked me whether Harry and Draco are going to get busy and my answer to that was I really don't know.  I don't have any experience writing the more explicit stuff but I'd be completely willing to try if that's what you guys want. So, let me know down in the comments how far you want them to go.

Finally, this is sort of unrelated and just me bragging a bit... but how many of you have read the Divergent trilogy? Because I did and I actually got to go see the movie premier a couple weeks ago... the movie was completely amazing and I actually got to see the actors. :D

Happy St. Patrick's Day! ;)
