It was early in the morning; he arrived early last night, compared to the nights before. They were monitoring gang activities out of town, so he was quite busy these past few days. He lives alone in an apartment on the topmost floor of the apartment building owned by The First Court, The Drako. His apartment screams manliness in every inch, nook, and cranny. The walls are white, surrounded by a series of floor to ceiling windows, glasses, dark and geometric furniture. The only thing that contrasts this edgy and modern set up is his white grand piano, it looked out of place in his modern loft, but it belonged there, with him. He loves music.

He was sitting on the white couch in his apartment. At first glance, you would think he's just another typical bad boy dressed in a sharp suit born in an affluent family, but he's not your usual bad boy. The young man has a bleached platinum blond hair, cropped neat and buzzed on the side with his hair on the top combed through the ends ending in wispy wavy tresses at the back, his bangs longer than the rest of his hair. He stood up to get a glass of rum on his pantry.

He isn't very tall; in fact he looks thin and feeble. He is small but underneath the clothes, he is solidly built and muscular, weather beaten, and a bit tanned. His face is that of a young man, with thin lips and soft jaws. His eyes are thin, framing his fluid light brown orbs. It is such a beautiful color- the color of the soil, the trees, the roots, the colors of nature. But his eyes are lifeless. Passive. Emotionless. Nevertheless, he is a beautiful melancholic handsome young man.

He took off his suit before chugging his drink. He was wearing a plain t-shirt underneath. The t-shirt was white and almost sheer. Displaying an opaque image of a number of tattoos covering his body, on his chest, back, arms, neck, shoulders, all inked. One of the most evident ones were the dragon on his right wrist, and the word Hunter on his left clavicle, with the letter H peeking through his shirt on his collar bone; like a warning. Yes, he's not your usual bad boy because he is a gangster royalty, known as G-Dragon in the underground society. He knows the deepest and darkest secrets of the underground world. He wasn't born to the life of a normal young man; he was born a gangster royalty, a scion of none other than The First Court.

"Jiyong?" A deep voice called out.

Kwon Jiyong Kwon, born 1988, was disturbed by a knock on the door.

"Come in." Jiyong answered.

Another young man came inside; he is much taller than Jiyong. They occupied the dining table, and then he handed Jiyong an envelope.

"What's up, TOP hyung?"

The other young man, Seunghyun Choi, known by his nickname TOP, is a tall young man with a deep voice. He has a sexy and strong jaw, sharp eyes, thick eyebrows, and a tousled brown hair. He is dashing, calling him Adonis would not do him justice; it will not suffice. He looks clean and rough at the same time.

"Boss asked me to give this to you. He said you need to find them and convince them to enlist." TOP explained. TOP is Jiyong's right hand man.

Jiyong opened the envelope and checked the contents. Inside, there were three papers with photos attached on each sheet. Jiyong took time to check its contents before passing it to TOP who did the same.

"Well, we have a job to do. Let's go." Jiyong said.

"There I was, on my bed, thinking it's a day off. There goes my day off." TOP threw an imaginary baseball outside the window and stood up.

"Strange grandpa." Jiyong remarked.

TOP and Jiyong were riding in a black sedan, driving around the city. Deciding on whom to talk to first. Jiyong pointed at the papers.

"I get why we need them." Pointing at Youngbae and Daesung's papers. "But him? He looks silly. Why do we need him? Seriously." Pointing at Seungri's paper. He is turned off by the seemingly happy-go-lucky, and playboy aura Seungri is emanating in the photo attached to the document.

"Well, I bet Boss knows what he's doing. And look, it is written there in black and white. He knows people." TOP answered, putting emphasis on the last word.

Jiyong tucked the papers back to the envelope and handed them again to TOP. "I don't like him." He said with finality.

TOP just sighed in response; Jiyong can be stubborn at times. "Let's go to this certain Youngbae first."

---

Jiyong and TOP entered, TOP talked to the waiter for a while, then they were immediately escorted to the VIP Table, the VIP Area was a bit secluded and was far apart compared to the regular ones, it's more private. TOP called the waiter and ordered champagne.

"He's pretty good." Jiyong commented while holding the champagne flute. Not really in the mood to work today because he's tired, and he's really not a very patient person; he's getting bored.

"Can't we just cut off his performance hyung?" Jiyong asked TOP, pertaining to the singer performing on the stage. He was wearing a very simple clean cut shirt, sporting a Mohawk.

"We can't. Jiyong, were here to ask him a favor, can you please act nicely in front of him later?" TOP scolded him.

"Oh, the grandpa inside you made an appearance again."

"Keep quiet!" TOP shushed as he raised his finger to his mouth, they were getting glances, especially since the VIP area is rarely occupied and that the occupants are seemingly bickering in a rather quiet café.

---

After Youngbae's set, a female singer followed. The manager went to look for Youngbae on the backstage to inform him that someone is looking for him. Youngbae went to the table his manager told him.

"My manager said you needed to talk to me?" Youngbae asked the two young men dressed in sharp suits.

"Uhm, yes. My name is Choi Seunghyun, you can call me TOP. This is my boss, Kwon Jiyong." TOP shook his hand and gently smiled at him.

"Youngbae, nice to meet you." Youngbae introduced himself then he took a glance at Jiyong. Jiyong didn't even raise his head to acknowledge him.

"Sit. Please." TOP said. Youngbae sat in front of them and stared at the two men.

"So... how may I help you?" Youngbae asked.

TOP looked around. "Well. This place doesn't seem suitable to discuss the matter at hand." TOP said. "We wanted to ask if you're available on Saturday, around... 2pm, perhaps?" TOP asked politely.

Youngbae seemed taken aback at the offer. "Well, I can't agree or disagree with you right now, because honestly, I don't know you. I don't know where you're from or what you do." Youngbae declined, stating his argument.

"Well, yes. You have a point." Jiyong said.

"I know this may come as a shock to you. But please hear us out. We're from The First Court. I'm sure you've heard of it." Jiyong continued.

Youngbae stiffened at the mention of the name. Of course he knows what The First Court is. His late father told him all about it.

"Let me think about it." Is all Youngbae has got to say. "Now, if you'll excuse me." Youngbae then stood up and walked away.

"Well, that went better than expected." TOP sarcastically said.

-----

Jiyong and TOP went out the restaurant and went straight to the car. They went to an office building this time. It was a modern structure in the middle of the district, few kilometers away from The Drako.

"Hi. Good day. I'm here to see Kang Daesung." TOP charmed the receptionist in the lobby, flashing his gorgeous smile.

"Do you have an appointment sir?" the woman inquired, smiling back. Obviously affected by TOP's presence.

"Well. No. How about this, could you call your boss and tell him that The Dragon is here and that he needs to talk to him?" TOP said. The girl was obviously taken aback by the weird request. The Dragon is here is the underground jargon for informing The Court's allies that G-Dragon is at the area. Of course they have all sorts of jargons, codes, and bearings, but this is the one that is most used in the public.

"Well, I can't do that. That's ridiculous." The woman declined.

"You could obey me, or I could call him myself and tell him how badly you're treating The Dragon." TOP said, gesturing to the phone on the desk. The girl checked out the guy sitting quietly on the couch in the lobby behind the tall man she's talking to right now. He looked like someone with authority; the way he carries himself. His regal posture is lethal; his resting face is that of an unyielding Greek god. Air of unattainability surrounding him, it was as if it is crucial that she obeys him, whatever happens.

"Okay fine." The girl said as she picked up the phone. "Sir. Uhm. There's this man waiting for you down here. He said his boss wanted to talk to you..." she was cut off.

"I'm so sorry for disturbing you sir." The girl said as soon as the man on the other line finished speaking, it was evident on the girl's face that she was scolded.

"Tell him what I told you." TOP mouthed. The girl was torn on whether to follow this strange beautiful man or not.

"Sir... He said The Dragon is here and he wants to talk to you." The woman said. Suddenly, the man on the other line barked orders.

A few minutes later, a man in a suit went and greeted them.

"Good day Mr. Choi, Mr. Kwon. I am very sorry to keep you waiting. Please follow me."

"Thank you." TOP mouthed to the girl who was bewildered with the bizarre situation. The man who fetched them was none other than the chairman of the company himself, her boss.

"Mr. Choi, Mr. Kwon. It's nice to see you again. How have you been?" The old man asked as soon as they stepped inside his office.

"We're good." TOP answered for the two of them.

"How may I help you?" the old man questioned.

Jiyong placed Daesung's paper on the old man's desk.

"I heard he's working here."

"Well, yes. He's one of the best here in our company. Hell, I could safely say he's one of the best here in our country."

"Well, I think The Boss needs him." Jiyong said.

The old man was obviously shocked and was taken aback by what Jiyong said. He can't just let go of one of the best man in his company can he? But this is The Boss were talking about.

"Oh. Well. Maybe we could make some arrangements." The old man said.

"I think The Boss needs him full time." TOP added. This rendered the old man flabbergasted.

"Can we meet him now?" Jiyong requested.

"Yes.. yes.. of course." The old man stuttered. He picked the phone from his desk and called someone. A few minutes later, a tall muscular man entered.

"Good day." He bowed.

"Mr. Kang, come in. Take a seat." The old man said, as he pointed out on the chair beside him, opposite TOP and Jiyong.

"I'm so sorry, but can we talk to him in private?" Jiyong asked the old man.

Daesung was shocked at the sudden request from Jiyong, how can this young man ask his boss to leave his own office, for crying out loud. But to Daesung's shock, his boss stood up and even bowed politely at the young man.

"Yes of course." The old man said, and then he walked away.

"I'm Choi Seunghyun, you can comfortably call me TOP. Can I call you Daesung?" TOP asked.

"Well, yes, TOP. But, how can I help you?" Daesung asked.

"Well I will not go on circles and go straight to the point. First off, we're from The First Court. You know The First Court right? It's where your mother and father worked before" Jiyong asked.

Of course Daesung knows. His parents always told him stories about the organization. He actually had a dream of joining The First Court when he was younger.

"Yes. What about it?" Daesung asked.

"I think this will be a long explanation. Can we just meet at my place? Saturday, 2pm? Can you make it?" Jiyong asked.

"Okay." Daesung immediately answered.

"Thank you." TOP said as he was about to stand up when Daesung asked a question.

"Are you two like me, too?" he questioned. "Orphaned. Because of The Court?" Daesung continued. He sounded sad and angry at the same time.

Jiyong felt his heart quicken its pace, TOP froze on his spot.

"Haha. Well, never mind. Don't mind me. My mouth has its own mind sometimes." Daesung said. Trying to ease the tension.

"Well. To answer your question.... Yes." Jiyong looked at Daesung straight in the eyes, as if telling a story. What they meant; only he knows. "Please do come on Saturday." Jiyong continued.

"I will." Daesung said as he reached out for Jiyong's hand.

"Thank you." Jiyong shook his. Daesung also shook TOP's hand then he went out.

"Next?" TOP asked Jiyong.

-------

While on the car, with TOP driving, Daesung's question kept on going on repeat in Jiyong's head. "Are you two like me too? Orphaned. Because of The Court?"

"Jiyong!" TOP shouted.

"What?!" Jiyong asked.

"Are you with me or are you on planet tralala? I said, I think we need to stop for some gas."

"Then go to the gasoline station. Am I a gasoline station?" Jiyong retorted.

"I'm so sorry baby Jiyong. But I don't have money." TOP said winking at Jiyong, acting cute.

"Stop it. Do you have a problem with your eyes?" Jiyong inquired.

"No." TOP said, scratching his head with his hand.

"You want to see a shoe in it?" Jiyong asked.

"Hey! Why are you so sensitive? I said give me money!"

Jiyong handed him his wallet.

While the crew was filling the car. Jiyong asked.

"How are we going to find him? He has no job, he has no permanent address."

"I think I know where to find him." TOP said. "I did my research you know." TOP bragged.

---

They went to the middle of the city known for its night life, the city has more clubs and bars than it has residential structures, TOP and Jiyong were no newbie in this kind of place, in fact, when they have free time, they spend it hanging out around this area. The two went inside an exclusive bar. The security guards know about The First Court and they also know The Dragon, with the H tattoo peeking on his collar, so even if the bar was exclusive for the invited guests of the host that night, they were allowed to come in.

They went inside and handed their coats to the staff. As soon as they stepped in, girls swarmed in front of them.

"Hi boys. Care to join us?" one girl asked.

"Hey, we have a private cubicle there, come with us?" another asked, trying to caress Jiyong's arm.

"My friend and I will just have a drink." TOP said, prying the girls away from Jiyong; Jiyong doesn't like physical contact of this sort. They tried to walk away from the hoard of zombie girls and sat on the bar. They were looking around trying to find the guy they're looking for when the hoard ran towards the entrance again. But unlike them, this guy seemed to enjoy every bit of attention thrown at him.

"Hey girls. One by one. Take it easy." Seungri said, raising his hand in the air as if on surrender.

"TOP hyung, just so you know, I hate him already." Jiyong said eyeing the famous guy.

"Shut up." TOP warned.

TOP stood up and went to where Seungri was at that time; in the middle of the hoard. He whispered to him. Seungri nodded. And kissed all the girls he could kiss before heading towards the bar. The girls squealed when they saw where Seungri was headed to; to Jiyong.

"Hey, be loyal to me!" Seungri shouted, before facing the two guys.

"So... what's up?" Seungri asked.

"Well... I'm..." TOP started but Seungri cut him off.

"I could order a drink right?" Seungri said, as if sending TOP a message to buy him a drink.

"Yes of course." Was all TOP could say; taken aback by this young man's boldness. After the waiter handed Seungri the drink, he looked at the guys again.

"I'm Choi Seunghyun. You could call me TOP. This is my boss Kwon Jiyong." Seungri shook their hands.

"I'm Lee Seungri, call me Seungri. How may I help you?" Seungri asked while chugging the free drink he got.

"Actually, I think, this isn't a suitable place to discuss it." TOP looked around at the bar.

"Okay, where do you want to go?" Seungri queried. He was about to get off from his chair to go wherever TOP wants to go to.

"Do you really trust people that easily?" Jiyong questioned.

"You seem trustworthy." Seungri said, without batting an eyelash.

"Indeed we are." TOP tried his best to smile.

"Can you make it on Saturday? My place, around 2pm." Jiyong was the one to give him the instruction. "Be on time and go on your own okay?"

"Okay." Seungri said. "Would that be all?" he continued.

"Yes. That's about it... Thank you." TOP said, finding the situation awkward with Seungri just accepting their invitation without much question of drama.

"I'll go now. My girls are waiting for me." Seungrir said, then he stood up and walked to the dance floor.

TOP and Jiyong also stood up to leave.

"Where my girls atttt?" they heard Seungri shout.

"I really despise him" Jiyong sighed.

---

Daesung arrived earlier than the said time, he's used to being punctual. He asked the driver to drop him in the address written on the card given to him by TOP. He was dropped off in front of a tall and modern building, a residential type, he guessed. The Drako, written in a silver signage just upfront, the building is mostly white, and glass. Very modern looking, despite being heavily guarded, it didn't look too precarious to enter; it looked more like a five star hotel more than anything. The car came to a halt and two men in black suit stood upon Daesung's arrival. TOP told him to just go straight to the topmost floor. The men in suit bowed to him and pointed him to the elevator. There were receptionists in the lobby, but there were more men in black suit spread around. He rode the modern looking elevator, mirrors surrounding him.

On the highest floor, there was a well-lit corridor, a few steps away from the elevator was the white double doors he assumed was Jiyong's. He knocked, and was welcomed by TOP.

Stepping in the unit is like stepping in a modern suite in a five-star hotel. It was so pristinely clean. Everything was in either black or white. A long sofa is situated near a floor to ceiling window, facing it is a magnificent view of the city. There were two single couches on either side. Black carpet against the pristine white floor. A dark long glass dining table is situated next to the white kitchen. Small appliances and utensils in black. There were two doors on the far side which Daesung assumed was the bedroom and an office. He also saw a white grand piano in the middle on the unit.

He saw Jiyong standing facing the floor to ceiling window, staring outside.

"I'm glad you made it." Jiyong said, he approached Daesung and shook his hands.

"No problem." Daesung said.

A maid arrived with a few refreshments and placed it on the coffee table in front of Daesung. Youngbae arrived a few minutes later.

"Hi. Am I late?" he asked.

"Nope. You're exactly on time." TOP gestured him on the sofa as well.

"This is Kang Daesung by the way. He's with us." Jiyong introduced the two.

"Dong Youngbae, call me Youngbae. Nice to meet you." Youngbae turned to Daesung and shook his hand.

"Daesung, Kang Daesung. Nice to meet you." Daesung answered.

A few minutes later, Jiyong was growing impatient. It was 15 minutes past 2 and Seungri is still not around. Jiyong isn't a very patient sort, he has patience as short as a match stick, and as fragile as an egg. He is not the type of person who would wait for others; others wait for him.

Jiyong was about to call it quits and just leave Seungri out when they heard a knock. TOP stood up to open the door before Jiyong can manage to, and there he was.

"Hey guys. Sorry. I was almost late. Wazzup?" Seungri asked.

"Almost?" Jiyong asked incredulously. He is really losing hope with Seungri. He doesn't find Seungri suitable for The Court. Seungri's been on his bad side ever since.

TOP tapped Jiyong's shoulder as if warning him. TOP can hold Jiyong down, that's for sure. Even if Jiyong is technically his boss, Jiyong being the scion of The Court, TOP is still like Jiyong's older brother. If anyone, Jiyong respects TOP the most.

Seungri introduced himself to the two young men who arrived before him. He then sat down with them. TOP was sitting on one of the single couch while Jiyong remained on his place, still staring outside.

"I'm sorry for our sudden appearance and the short notice, but I'm glad you made it." Jiyong started; turning to face them.

"I know that you are aware of the existence of The First Court and its' different purposes. I believe I've already introduced myself to you guys, but let me do it again. I am Kwon Jiyong, known as G-Dragon in the underground society, second in command to the leader, Yang Hyunsuk, or The Phoenix, as we call him. He's the only living Member of The Big Three of The First Court. He instructed me to find you three to propose a deal with you guys." Jiyong narrated, three young men were staring at his Hunter tattoo, with the H peeking out of his shirt, as if seeing hearsay come to life.

"He had his men trace you and find you not only because you were the sons of the old members of The Court, but also because of your knowledge and ability."

"So he wants us to work for him?" Seungri asked.

"No, he wants us to work as a team." TOP confirmed.

"You? Him? Us?" Daesung asked, looking at TOP, Jiyong, and to the two guys sitting beside him respectively.

"Yes." Jiyong answered.

"If it's okay with you three and everything will fall in the right place; you will be living here in this building. The Court will pay you, and will take care of your living expenses in exchange for your service." Jiyong continued.

"What exactly is our job?" Youngbae asked.

"It depends on the situation. But we assure you, were not the bad guys here." Jiyong said. TOP stood up and faced them.

"You may need some time to think about this. We understand if you could not give us your answer right away." TOP looked at each and every one of them.

"No. It's fine. I'm in." Seungri said, he stood up and shook Jiyong and TOP's hand. He went beside TOP and looked at the other two.

"Okay. I'm in too." Daesung said and he did the same.

The four guys are now looking at Youngbae. Youngbae looked at their eyes one by one. He stood up.

"Okay." He said.

They all broke into a smile.

"Let's celebrate!" Seungri beamed.

"We were born in this world. It is forbidden as much as it is fragile." Jiyong said. "Let's make the most of it."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They decided to go out as what Seungri suggested; they went in a bar owned by The Court. There was a VIP area that was enclosed and secluded. It was only for The Court's use. They settled there and ordered some drinks.

"Does The Court own many establishments like this?" Seungri asked Jiyong who was the nearest to him.

"Yes. Bars, restaurants, malls, hospitals, hotels, different kinds." Jiyong responded.

"It's a really big organization." TOP clarified. "Not just businesses and establishments, The Court also has properties around the globe. Say for example, we were sent on a mission in a foreign land, surely, there will be a place to stay, and people to serve us."

"Cool." Seungri exclaimed.

"What should I call you though? I'm not sure." Daesung asked Jiyong.

"Well. Just comfortably call me Jiyong." Jiyong answered.

"I call him Boss around The Court's members. So I think the best practice is to call him Boss, G-Dragon or GD, his underground name, in front of The First Court, especially around our leader." TOP explained to The Court rookies.

"I could just call you Jiyong?" Youngbae asked Jiyong.

"Sure." Jiyong answered.

"You're the same age, I remember the papers." Daesung told Jiyong and Youngbae. "Then there's me. Seungri's the youngest." Daesung chimed in.

"Yes. I'm your baby boy." Seungri said while making cute poses. Pouting his lips and shaking his butt nonsense.

"Don't. Just... don't." Jiyong warned.

"So what are we going to call our group?" Seungri stopped his acts and asked.

"Is that really necessary?" Jiyong thought it was ridiculous and very childish. Very cheap, even.

"Yes. Don't you think it's cool? We should have a name!" Seungri defended his idea.

"Yeah, that's not a bad idea." Daesung sided Seungri.

"Flower Five!" Seungri blurted out.

"How very original." Jiyong said sarcastically, raising his brows on Seungri, judging his mental maturity.

"Super heterodyne!" Daesung said with a wide grin.

"Super... what?!" TOP asked, finding each and every member weirder by the minute.

"Super heterodyne. It's a computer thing." Daesung scratched his head in embarrassment.

"Too mouthful." Jiyong pointed out.

"Any suggestions then? If none then let's go with Flower Five." Seungri teased.

The other four members were now pressured to think of a name, so as long as they will not be called Flower Five. Jiyong turned to Youngbae who hasn't pitched in any suggestion yet, encouraging him to speak up, he has been quiet ever since they were in his unit, and nothing has changed in his demeanor despite the fact that he had something to drink earlier. Jiyong felt like Youngbae wasn't comfortable. He wanted Youngbae to open up just a bit, and by trying to ask his opinion, Jiyong was hoping Youngbae would feel better around them.

"How about Bigbang? Bigbang; a symbol of new beginning. It symbolizes a large force." Youngbae said awkwardly. "Since... you know... there are five of us, and we specialize in different things, we're kind of a large force." They looked at each other and nodded.

After a while, they all got comfortable around each other and started talking and goofing around. Jiyong went out in the balcony to catch some fresh air. Seungri went out too, and stood beside him.

"Know what, I feel like I was destined to meet you all. It's like I've known you all my life... hyung."

"Same here." Jiyong wasn't really good at talks like this. But he was taken aback by the title 'hyung' nobody has ever called him hyung before. He only has a few people around him and most of them are younger than him. Thus, he's the one calling them 'hyung'.

"You don't like me much, right?" Seungri asked, looking at Jiyong straight in the eyes.

"Nah. Not really. I think I'm just not comfortable by the fact that you play with girls like they are toys. But you know, it's your life, so don't mind me."

"It's all I've got." Seungri looked ahead, in the dark night sky, barely any star to see.

"What?" Jiyong asked, confused.

"I may sound conceited, but my face, my body; it's all I've got. I've got no relatives. I didn't finish school. I have no other way to live but that." Seungri said while staring at the sky, as if the sky would provide something for him to feel better. "Sometimes, I feel disgusted about myself, too. But they never really took me seriously, those girls. I'm just for display. Nobody really loved me." Seungri continued, sighing after the last word. The words his mouth let out were his deepest thoughts that lie deep inside him. He couldn't have shared it with anybody, but he felt like he could share it with Jiyong.

For the first time since they've met, this is the only time Jiyong saw Seungri talking in a serious tone, he admired him for his strength, for his honesty.

"You will find someone suited for you, too. Someday soon." Jiyong said.

They just stared at the sky. Letting the cold evening air embrace them. Jiyong couldn't help but think about Seungri, his future, their future. Do they have another future away for The Court? Do they have a chance for a normal life? They are still young; they have their life ahead of them. If only they could choose differently, he's fairly sure they would all choose to stay away from The Court.

"What do you think about attending college?" Jiyong suddenly asked.

"College? That would be cool hyung!" Seungri grinned.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You heard it? There's a transfer student!" a boy gushed.

"Yeah. I heard she's hot!" another said.

"There she is!" another one pointed out in the car park.

A tall gorgeous girl went out of a luxurious car, wearing simple clothes; her long bright red hair is flowing with the air, making her pale face more striking than it already is. She was gaining attention without even trying to, guys were staring at her direction, and some were even 'secretly' taking photos of her. Her beauty calls attention. Her chauffeur went out of the car and asked her something, she looked up at him and people saw her face more clearly, her clear liquid orbs, almost like glass, looks so stunning against her crimson hair, she gestured him to go. She went inside the building, still followed by the little audience she made. She went inside the girls comfort room to avoid them. A few steps away. She heard girls talking out loud.

"Why are you even here? This is a private university. The tuition fee here is expensive." One girl said.

"Where do you get your money huh? I bet you seduce guys here and there and ask them for money." Another one said.

She went in and saw two girls towering over a petite girl. She was wearing a plain black tee, simple jeans, and a beanie. Her head was hung low.

"What seems to be the problem here?" the red head asked.

The girls were shocked by the voice, but they were move shocked when they turned around and they were faced by a tall gorgeous red haired girl.

"Nothing. We're just talking. Right Sulli?" the girl with a light brown hair asked.

"Yes, Krystal's right. We were just having fun." The tall girl with jet black hair answered.

"Oh, really? I thought you were bullying her." The red head said. Her words are sharp.

"Uhm. Nope. We have to go. We'll be late. Let's go Sulli." Krystal said. Dragging the other out.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" the red head asked the petite girl. She was cowering on the corner, her face hidden by her wavy light brown hair. She was so small and so lean; she almost looked like a prepubescent girl.

"No. I'm okay. Thanks." The petite girl bowed lightly.

"I'm Bom by the way. Park Bom. I'm a transferee here. What's your name?" Bom asked as she approached the girl.

"We have the same last name. I'm Park Sandara. Nice to meet you." Sandara raised her head to look at her.

"Oh! You're so cute." Bom exclaimed, now that she saw how the petite girl looks like, she can't help but giggle. She is indeed cute. She's petite, and slim, she has a long wavy light brown hair that reaches her waist. Her eyes were that of a chocolate, deep dark brown, she was pale as a sheet, and her lips were red as cherry.

"Tha... thanks. I guess." She awkwardly answered. "You're so beautiful." She continued.

"Nah. Where are you headed to?" Bom asked.

"Room 214." She awkwardly answered, hanging her head low, feeling quite shy.

"We're classmates!" Bom exclaimed.

"Uhm. Let's go?" Sandara reacted a bit dimly in comparison to Bom's.

"C'mon." Bom said, linking her arm into Sandara's.

She got shocked at this small gesture. 'Will I finally have a friend?' she asked herself.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During lunch time, Bom and Sandara sat together. People were stealing glances at them. Never have they seen Sandara with another student, let alone one that is like a friend. She has always been the target of bullying by the resident bullies, Krystal and Sulli. Nobody really dared to stand up for her for a few reasons, one, because she said so herself, that she doesn't need help and that she's fine. Two, Krystal and Sulli's been known to be bullies since forever, beautiful as they are, they are rotten brats inside, and because of their beauty, they get much attention from different guys who are more than willing to help them in whatever they want, whether it be bad or good. Having the guys and their rich families as their backup, nobody really dares to stand up against them.

"Are you okay? Are you uncomfortable... Sandara?" Bom asked, placing her iced coffee on the table.

Sandara suddenly stirred her coffee, awkwardly looking at the cup. "Uhmm. No. Not really. It's just that... this is the first time someone like you treated me nicely." She answered shyly.

"Like me? Like what?" Bom questioned.

"Beautiful. Rich. You know. Some students here never forget to remind me every day that I don't belong here."

"Why do they think you don't belong here?"

"I'm different than the rest of you. Not rich. Not beautiful. Not famous. I'm just a scholar here and they see that as a reason to torment me."

"Who said you're ugly? I think they need new eyes. Honestly, you're beautiful. And I don't think those are enough of a reason for them to bully you. I think they're just jealous because you're beautiful and smart." Bom said, holding her new friend's free hand.

"Thanks." She looked at their entwined hands.

"Next time they tell you stuff, I will skin them alive and drench them in freshly squeezed lemon juice, and then I will behead them and resurrect them afterwards just to kill them again." Bom said with a cheeky smile.

"Gee, you're scary." She shriveled.

Bom shook her head 'no'. "Nah. I just like mentally killing people I don't like." Bom supposed.

"Thanks Bom. I've only met you this morning, but you've already made me feel better."

"No problem Sandara. By the way, don't you have a nickname? Your name is a bit mouthful." Bom asked.

"Well. You could call me Dara." Dara smiled genuinely at Bom for the first time. "I'm lucky I met someone like you." Dara continued.

"Know what? I feel like we were meant to meet each other." Bom said, smiling at Dara.

"Agree 100%" Dara said with a smile.

"And were both beautiful. We're so perfect. Hahaha." Bom said laughing out loud at her silliness.

"You are so weird... Bommie." Dara pouted cutely.

"What did you call me?"

"Bommie." Dara smirked. "Isn't it cuter?"
