Scarlett's P.O.V.
"My name is Peter Pan... and you're in Neverland..."
Neverland? Peter Pan? This couldn't be real? Could it? I was in Storybrooke... This- What was going on? I felt as if my head was spinning. My heart began to race and I felt like a couldn't breathe. "I'm in Nev- Neverland? You're Peter... Peter Pan? What? How- How am I- What am I doing here? How do you know me? I-" "Scarlett! Calm down! Calm down, Scarlett... Calm down," Peter Pan cut me off, pulling me into his chest. It was happening again... I haven't had one in so long... How- how could this be happening again? "Scarlett? Are you okay? What's going on?" Peter asked me. We somehow ended up sitting on the floor, him rocking me back and forth. I slowly began to calm down. "Scarlett... what just happened?" Peter asked. "I- I had...Do you know what a panic attack is?" I said, shakily. I felt him nod his head. "Well... that's what just happened... I haven't had one in years... They were always infrequent... but pretty severe... most of them..." I explained. "Why did you have one just now?" he asked. He treated me as if I were precious to him. And, according to him, I had met him before... I had known the Peter Pan... The boy whose story I had read almost every night...whose story had given me hope that there was a place where I might fit in... where someone might care for me... When I realized I had been living in a city of fairytale people, I had investigated all the boys I believed to be Peter Pan... I had hoped that if I found him, he would take me away to Neverland... where I might be cared about... And this whole time, I had never known that I, indeed, knew him. I would never have thought this to be real if I didn't live the life I did... and if I had never met the Captain Hook...
"I'm not sure... maybe just the shock of the recent events... I don't know," I said, pulling away from him. He looked into my eyes and asked, "Scarlett... do... do you really not remember me?" I looked down at my hands and shook my head. "No, I- I don't... I'm sorry, Peter," I said. He mumbled something I couldn't understand. "What?" I asked. He said it a bit louder, but I still couldn't understand him. "You promised you'd remember!" he yelled. I fell back and began to scoot away from him in fear. "I couldn't remember even if I tried, Peter!" I yelled back. His anger immediately died down. 'What do you mean?" he asked, coming closer to me. I scooted back again and said, "Since I found out you knew me, I've been digging through my memories as far back as I can go, and I'm pretty sure I would remember freaking Neverland... and you..."
"I thought you were dead," Peter said, after a few minutes of silence. I looked up at him quickly. "What?" "That last day with you... you were six at the time... Hook took you... and by the time I had gotten to the ship... Smee and you were gone... Hook told me that he had sent Smee to kill you... That you were dead," Peter said. "I was six?" I asked. Peter nodded. My head began to throb, and I felt lightheaded. I shut my eyes in pain and I began to fall forward when Peter caught my arms and held me up. "Scarlett? Scarlett? What's wrong this time?" Peter asked me. Pictures flashed through my mind. A boat... a large man with a red beanie... and... "Mr. Gold!" I yelled, snapping my eyes open. "What?" Peter asked. "Gold... Rumpelstiltskin... he... I remember when I was six... Gold found me at the docks... when he had brought me home, my mom... she said I had been gone for 9 days," I said, looking up to meet his eyes. "Rumpelstiltskin did this... he took your memories," Peter said, angrily. I noticed his grip tighten on my arms. "You know him?" I asked. "Yes," Peter said, squeezing my arms even more. I winced in pain. "Peter, you're hurting me," I said, trying to pull my arms out of his grasp. He quickly let go of my arms. "Come on... Let's go to camp," Peter said, helping me up.
We walked through the forest, heading towards the camp Peter spoke of. I soon heard the laughter of boys in the distance. After a few more minutes, we walked into a large campground filled with the boys I had seen at the beach and more. As soon as Peter and I walked in, all the boys stopped playing around and stared at us. "Is that a girl?" "Who is that?" "She looks familiar?" "Why is there a girl here?" "I haven't seen a girl here in 11 years." All this and more is what I heard being murmured throughout the large group of boys. They were right... I'm the only girl here... I shuffled closer to Peter and he slightly laughed when he noticed how... um... uncomfortable? I was... "Boys! This," Peter said, gesturing to me, "is Scarlett... She's back."
There was a moment of awkward silence before most of the boys began to cheer. Soon, a fire had been made in the middle of the camp and the boys had begun to pool around me. Peter had disappeared a while ago and I had been searching for him. A boy came up to me and said, "Hello, Scarlett... Do... do you remember me?" He was a young boy... maybe 6 or 7. I knelt down to his height and said, "I'm sorry... but I don't remember anything..." He frowned slightly and looked down at the ground. "What's your name?" I asked him, smiling. He looked up at me and said, "My name is Elian. We were friends when you were here... when you were my age." "We can still be friends now," I said. He smiled and said, "I'd like that." He looked behind me and his eyes widened in fear. He ran away and I stood and turned to see Peter leaning against a tree, staring at me from a distance.
I walked up to him and asked, "Where did you go? You're currently the only person here I feel comfortable around." "And why's that?" he asked, smirking. "I'm not very good at making friends," I said, nervously rubbing the back of my neck. "It didn't look like that just now as it seemed you easily became friends with Elian," he said. "I'm pretty sure that's the first friend I've ever had," I laughed nervously. "That's not true... You had many friends when you were here... when you were younger..." he said. "That's a first," I sighed. He looked at me curiously. 'What are you talking about?" he asked. I looked up at him and sighed, "I never really had a friend in Storybrooke before the curse broke... except for Ruby... I'm too different from everyone else back there... they're all too... happy." "Is it bad to be happy?" Peter asked, laughing. "N-no... I mean that they act as if everything is right with the world... as if everything is perfect... I know that that is not at all true... There is always evil hiding somewhere," I said, looking down at my shoes. "Why would you say that?" he asked me. "If you lived the life I have been living... you'd understand that not every fairytale has a... happy ending..." I said, shrugging. "Trust me... I understand..." was all he said.
A few hours had passed and most of the boys had gone to sleep. I sat by the fire, poking a stick into it as it slowly burnt out. Someone sat next to me, but I was too tired to look over and see who it was. "Hello, Scarlett," the boy said next to me. I looked to see it was Andrew. Him and Felix didn't look much alike... Felix had dirty blonde hair and eerie blue eyes while Andrew had dark brown hair and even darker brown eyes. There was something off about him... I couldn't put my finger on it. "Hi, Andrew," I said. "You remember me?" he asked. "A lot of people have been asking me that tonight... and I tell every single one of them the same thing... no," I said, sighing. "Too bad," Andrew said. "Yeah..." I yawned. "What do you think of Neverland?" Andrew asked me after a few moments of awkward silence. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Do you like it here? Don't you wanna leave and go home to Storybrooke?" he asked. I thought for a moment then answered, "I never really belonged in Storybrooke... I think I like it here much better... Why do you ask?" "Last time there was a girl here... before you... she wanted to leave a few days after she got here... Pan didn't like that... I suggest you stay on his good side... Wouldn't want you to get hurt," he replied and left. What did he mean by that? There was something really off about Andrew... I made a mental note not to fully trust him, even if Peter did with his life. I had learned within the few hours I was here that Felix and Andrew were very fraternal twin brothers and that they were one of the first to be brought to Neverland by Peter. They are like Peter's henchmen... you could say... Peter trusts them completely and it's quite obvious why. It got later and later and I felt my eyes slowly droop. Then, I was asleep and falling...
Peter's P.O.V.
I came back from a talk with Andrew and Felix about Scarlett... I was determined to bring her memories back... for more than one reason. I walked towards the dying fire to see Scarlett still poking at it. I wonder what's going through her mind. I'm sure she's still very confused about everything. She doesn't even know what's in store for her... She almost found out when she was last here... That was too close... I walked up to her and saw her eyes start to slowly close. Then, she was falling. I teleported in front of her and grabbed her before she fell into the fire. "Always were a clumsy girl," I said, picking her up.
I walked to my tent with Scarlett in my arms. "She sleeping with you?" Andrew asked from behind me. I turned to face him and said, "Yes... why? Does that bother you, Andrew?" I asked, suspiciously. "No, Pan... It's just... Don't get too close to her again... You know what you have to do..." he said. "I only need one... not both... I could use the other instead," I replied. "She'd hate you... you'd lose her either way... So... like I said... I suggest you don't get too close to her," Andrew warned. I held in my anger, because if I didn't... I would wake Scarlett. "Andrew... I know what needs to be done," I said in a calm yet menacing tone and walked into my tent. I laid Scarlett down on the bed and threw the blanket over her. "Pan," Felix said, from outside my tent, "What happens if she remembers and you're not around?" I walked towards the tents entrance and said, "You know what to do..." I went to close the tent. "And Pan," Felix quickly said. "What?" I asked, getting annoyed. "Are you going to tell her who her-" "No... there is a plan, Felix... I have thought everything out..." I said, cutting him off. "That's what you said when she first arrived 11 years ago... All 3 of us know how well that turned out," Andrew said, appearing out of nowhere. I sent a glare towards both of them. "I do have a plan... and nothing... no one... not even myself... will interfere with it," I said and shut the tent.
