Chapter 4
No one was looking so I put my arm behind my back before dad turned around. He looked at me with his head titled like I was a new person and he never met me.
"Jewel, you okay?"
"Of course....... never better"
Cody jumped in the conversation
"Why you hiding your arm?"
Elisa added
"Yeah why?"
I was thinking of an excuse when the tingling was gone I looked behind me the glowing stopped I but my other arm up and told them to come closer.
"So I can tickle you."
I started tickling Cody and he laughed so hard is face turned red as a rose.
When we got inside I threw myself on the couch and Cody jumped right on top of me and he laid there is feet on my knees close to my hips, the top of his head under my chin and everything was okay. In till we went to sleep. I laid there with my eyes open wide, it was storming, lightning flashed and thunder crashed.
What I didn't now was someone was coming up the steps to get upstairs..
