(Killian)
Kim had dragged us out of the house around 2 pm and we all headed down to somewhere we could rent boats and other water crafts along with an instructor.
I wasn't too in the mood but I already missed one adventure plus this is our last adventure of the trip.
"Hello" Kim said at the desk
"Hi, can I help you" the guy said looking at his phone
"Yeah can I have canoes for like one, two, three... Seven people?" She asked
He looked up at her and got that look that most guys get when they see Kat, Nat and Kim, he looked at them for a while before I coughed and asked if he needs help doing his job.
"N-no it's just I was just watching your video of Facebook" he said
"What video?" Holland asked
"Nothing" the three of them squeaked together.
"Can we just have the boats please?" Nat asked
"Can I have your number?" He asked her thinking he was smooth. Everyone started to chuckle as she smiled stepping closer to the desk
"Yeah you can and when you call me we can set up a day for us to pick up hot girls, see I already have my two main chicks right here" she said pointing at Kat and Kim who laughed but nodded
"It's true we can't resist her" Kim said
"Her snoring is really attractive" Kat added
"Her ability to make messes but not clean them up is any girls dream"
"Her smelly clothes"
"Annoying voice"
"Okay he gets it! Damn" Natalia said backing up
"Right this way" he said getting up and taking us to the water.
Everyone partnered up onto different water crafts. I was on a canoe with Kat, Nick and Jacob shared a kayak and Kim, holland and Nat all shared a canoe.
"Okay where do I sign" Kim asked
"Here, uh that's gonna be 30 dollars an hour" he said
"Sure, here's the card" Kim said
"Ah!" Kat yelled trying to get on the canoe
The worker beat me to her and helped her in holding her waist and having a goofy smile on his face
"I swear if you don't back the f.ck away"I said to the guy who quickly let go and retreated away from her
"Well you'll need to come in and sign something" he told Kim
"I'll go," I said not wanting to know how he would act alone with an actual girl.
"I'm coming" holland joined as the three of us went inside
"Sign those" he said sitting behind the desk and looking outside
I started to sign while he decided to annoy me further
"So how did you score those?" He asked us. I looked at holland and he shook his head
"they aren't objects" holland said
"So are they actually lesbians? Do they let you watch?" He asked ignoring Hollands statement
"Your horrible" I said handing him the papers before holland and I left and got on the boats
"Aw you two are so cute when your mad" Kim yelled
"True" Kat commented as we exchanged smiles and began to paddle. It took us a while to figured out how to do it but soon we were moving at a pretty good pace and all making small conversation when we could
"You okay for a sec?" Kat asked me
I nodded as she stopped helping me and took out a camera filming somethings before looking at me and snapping a photo. She put it down and angled her head as if she was analyzing me
"Are you okay? After everything?" She asked
I smiled and nodded, "is it bad that I'm better than okay?"
"No it's good, trust me I would be mad if you weren't happier without her" she commented
"Do I even want to know?" I asked
"Nope, she is just an awful person. I don't hate people but her? I can make an exception" I said
"I guess I just wanted to see the good in her"
She picked up a paddle again but went on to say,"that's what I like about you, always wanting to see the good in people" she smiled
"You like me?"
"What?"
"I mean you said you like me 'that's what you like about me' so do you like me like me or just friends like me?" I asked her. She blushed looking around and then looked at me before biting her lip
"I think you know Killian" she said in a hushed tone so only I can hear
"I don't think so Katrina, tell me, I'm tired of guessing, how do you feel about me"
"Currently feel like your annoying" she joked
"Seriously" I said she stopped paddling and things got intense, this was it.
"What do you want me to say? That I have fallen for you is that it? That I want you to kiss me right here right now because we don't have to worry about who sees anymore? Or how you scare me? Because I'm feeling things I've never felt before? Or that when you smile my heart literally explodes? And when you laugh I hope that I'm the one making you laugh? And how when you were jealous back there I just wanted to hug you and tell you your too god for the world? Or how I'm just waiting for you to ask me on a date Killian kohl, is that what you want?" She asked leaving me speechless
"Because if that's what you want then I'm saying it. This is me saying all that stupid butterfly and rainbow shit." She added making me smiled
"Don't look at me like that" she grinned
"Katrina?"
"Yes?"
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked
"Yes, now stop pestering me jeez" she joked.
We looked around far from land and the sun was going down.
"Um Kim? Are you sure you know where we're going?" Natalia asked her
"Yes now enjoy nature young ones!"
"She's taking us some place she can kill us and hid the bodies" Nick said
We continued on laughing and talking together until it got dark and we made it to land where a bonfire was happening and there were about ten other people.
"Sick!" Jacob said
"S'mores!" Kat yelled running for the fire
It was an evening of making new friends, laughing talking and drinking a little. We told stories and talking about our dreams while we sat around a fire. And then someone grabbed a guitar and started singing for us as we all sang along I looked around and wished we didn't have to leave tomorrow. I looked around and saw I was where I was supposed to be. The girls were dancing the guys were playing sports. We were all smiling from ear to ear. We are happy as we can be.
I looked around and I noticed I had it all, the amazing view, the good times, the best friends and soon, the girl of my dreams.
