Serena's Point Of View:

I looked up at the looming red train as it raced towards us down the track. It whooshed past with a loud screech, blowing my curly brown hair across my face. Laughing loudly, I turned to see that my Mother's hair, that was so similar to mine, had also covered her face.

She leant back into my Father's chest as she smiled down at me happily. The train slowed to a stop and I looked upon it with glee.

It was finally time for my first year at Hogwarts!

This was going to be so much fun!

Mother crouched down, her hand still wrapped around Father's, and beckoned us towards us so that she could take both Seth and I in her arms. As she wrapped her arms around us, I shifted into her warm grip and I found myself smiling instinctively.

We drew away and looked up at our parents as they slipped back into each other; that's the way that I like them best, when they aren't fighting with each other over something ridiculous. When my Mother's wearing that beautiful smile on her face and my Father is looking at her like she's the best thing that ever happened to him, except for us.

"I want you both to behave yourself." Mother insisted. Her gaze moved between the both of us as she examined with us, almost as if she was wondering that we would actually do what she had asked us to.

"We will Mother." Seth promised, "I'll make sure that Serena doesn't do anything that will get her into trouble." I glared at him angrily making him laugh at me.

"Don't go picking fights without learning how to duel beforehand-." Father started.

"Don't pick fights, full stop." Mother interrupted, allowing a quick glare at Father and he nudged her indicating it was just a joke. I knew it wasn't.

"Don't annoy Moaning Myrtle either; she doesn't need much persuasion to burst into tears." Father reminded us again. I couldn't stop the trickle of laughter escape my lips when I suddenly remembered a story that my Mother had told me a few years ago about her second year at Hogwarts. Something about boys in the girl's bathroom and Moaning Myrtle flooding the toilets.

"We won't." Seth and I chimed.

"I'll miss you so much." She cried, crouching down to drop a kiss on both of our heads.

"You have better both behave yourselves." Father smiled as he ruffled first Seth's hair and then my own affectionately. He let go of Mother and picked me up, spinning me around in the air before lowering me to the floor. He held his hand out so that Seth could high-five it and clapped him quickly on the back before drawing back from us.

"Go on both of you, have fun." Mother said; I could already see the tears forming in her eyes as she gripped on Father's arm. She rubbed the tears away from her eyes, a smile creeping steadily upon her lips again as she began laughing at how sad she was.

"We will." Seth stated before he turned to me. He held out his hand, a sign that it was time to go.

Sparing one last look at my Mother and Father, I took his hand and we both rotated around so that we were facing the train door.

It was now or never.

Pushing open the door, Seth held it open wide so that I could climb in before following me into the carriage. We began to walk along the passage, pushing past the babbling children while we dragged our trunks and pets.

"There's an empty compartment." Seth called suddenly, shoving me blindly into an open compartment. I stumbled forwards and, fortunately, collapsed onto one of the chairs that lined the room.

"Seth!" I moaned angrily. He let out a chuckle as he hefted his trunk into the air and swung it up onto one of the luggage racks. I copied him and, moments later, we were both sat together side by side on the seat. A loud hoot echoed from my black owl, Morgana. I had named her after the courageous, if not evil witch, from a film focused about witches and wizard.

We waved out the window at our parents as the train suddenly jerked forwards and we were driving away from our parents, family and friends.
