Melissa meets the boys at Miami International Airport three days later. She is beaming brightly and when she sees them, she runs to Ravi and hugs him tightly. He sighs, let's go of his luggage, and hugs her back.
"Nice to see you again," He greets and she squeals.
"I'm glad to see you too!" She squeals again, "Come on, the sooner we get back, the sooner you get the. surprise."
She leads them to her car. They pile their stuff into her car and cram in. She speeds out of the airport parking lot.
She pulls into a driveway, but it's not hers. It must be May's house. She parks and smiles. N can feel May's presence from inside the house and smiles.
"You're sure excited," Melissa says, a grin on her own face, "Come on."
She climbs out, not waiting for the boys and rushes into house. When she comes back out, she has May behind her. N and Ken are about to run out to greet her, but Leo holds them back. He silently points to the window of the house. Melissa might be naïve, but May's mother certainly wasn't. She'd notice if either of them ran to her with happiness.
Ravi gets out first. They see him greeting May politely, she gets the memo and acts like she doesn't know him. Leo follows, then Ken, Hongbin gets out silently. Lastly, N, after gaining his composure, gets out of the car. He sees her resisting to run to him, she might hate him, but she needed him as much as he needed her.
"I'm N," he says, shaking her hand.
"May," she answers, and backs away slightly, looking over all of them, "So you're the famous VIXX Melissa is always talking about. But isn't there one more guy?" He voice isn't rude as if she didn't know them, but more questioning.
"Hyuk... wasn't able to join us today," Ken answers carefully, glancing at Hongbin. Hongbin wasn't meeting his gaze. May looked confused but quickly masked it.
"Would you like to come in? My mom's making dinner," May offers to them.
"We'd love to," Ravi smiles and they follow her and Melissa inside.

May watches the boys eat. They were acting happy, mostly. Hongbin seemed depressed and N kept staring at her. Every time she catches him he looks away. She felt better now that he was around, and he had conviniently sat in the chair across from her.
"Ravi, can you pass me the mashed sweet potatoes?" Melissa's cheery voice interrupts May's thoughts.
Ravi hands them to her smiling. May watches skeptically, either he was a really good actor or he really liked Melissa.
"May, dear, you've barely eaten anything," her mother comments. May looks at her plate, her mother was right.
"I guess I'm not that hungry," May answers, pushing away her plate.
"You should go to bed early May Day, you look exausted," her father suggests. Ken chokes on his water at the nickname. She glares at him and takes her plate to the kitchen sink.
From there, she hears her mother asking the boys, "So how long are you staying in Florida?"
"Just for the weekend," she hears Ken answering, "We were here a few days ago, but had to go back to Korea..."
May nearly drops her cup. They had been here while she was in the hospital, or worse, being held captive by Baek Hyun?
"That's how we met Melissa..." Ravi adds and May grips the sinks counter.
They had been so close to rescuing her and they just left? May takes the back stairs up to her room. She collapses face first onto her bed and sighs.
"Why are you sad?" N asks from behind her. She doesn't move, she was half expecting it anyway. He sits on the bed next to her, "Aren't you glad to see us?" She sighs again, sitting up.
"I'm glad to see you yes, but why didn't you come when I was kidnapped by that Exo guy? You visited Melissa, when you should've been trying to save me!" She realizes how selfish that sounded, "I'm sorry, that came out wrong." She sniffles, "I needed you. As much as I hate to admit it, I needed you and none of you were there."
She hates herself as she begins to cry in front of him. His arm goes around her shoulders instantly and he pulls her in for a hug. She doesn't pull away. Instead, she hugs him back and cries into his shoulder. He rubs her back and she winces.
"Sorry, he whispers into her hair, "We went to try to find you, Melissa was kinda a setback. We thought you were still being held by Exo in Korea, that's why we went back. Then, we found out you were here."
"Where's Hyuk?" She asks. She feels N tense.
"He's dead May, that's why Hongbin is do out of it," N answers quietly, "When we were trying to find you, he was killed." She breaks away, "His sacrifice wasn't in vain, we found you..."
She hugs him again, new tears in her eyes. He comforts her while she mourns.

Camille watches Hyuk sink his fangs into the little girl's neck with a smile. He is trembling as he drinks from her, but he is drinking slowly, controlled. Camille them frowns. He hadn't eaten for almost a week, he shouldn't be able to control himself like that.
*His conscience must still be on his case.*
He shoves the little girl away and pants. The girl looked terrified. Camille sets her hand on the girl's shoulder and drains away her energy until she collapses, her eyes glassy. Hyuk stares.
"Y-you killed her?" He states stuttering.
"Of course I did, I'm a demon and a killer, it's what I do," Camille smiles, "If you had finished her off, I wouldn't have had to drain the life out of her."
"Why did she have to die?" He asks, falling against the wall.
Camille grins and squats in front of him. She runs her finger up his chest and along his jaw.
"To help make you forget your morals."
