Football One Shots

"Baby, wake up." I hear someone whisper and then feel a soft kiss on my cheek. "Please let me sleep, just 5 more minutes." I mumble and turn around. "I've made breakfast." I hear being said and I immediately open my eyes and look directly into the eyes of Kevin, my boyfriend of 4 years. "Happy anniversary, my love." He says and shows me a plate of waffles. I squeal lightly and give him a soft kiss. "Happy anniversary to you, too, Kev." I reply and slowly sit up. "I'm sorry that I had to wake you up this early, but I have planned a lot of things for today." He says and sits down next to me. "Did you make this waffles?" I question and raise my eyebrows. "Of course." He answeres proudly and we both begin to eat. "This waffles have been absolutely amazing, thank you so much." I say as we finish eating. Kevin just smiles and then hands me a box. "This is my first present for you." He explains. I slowly open the box and see a beautiful blue dress laying in it. I squeal again and pull Kevin in for a hug:" Thanks so much, it's so beautiful." "Everything for you, my love." He replies and I pull him in for a passionate kiss. "So you can get ready now and I'll clean up the mess that I've made in the kitchen." He laughs and stands up. I lightly giggle and then I put my new dress and some ballerinas on. I quickly put my hair up and walk out of our bedroom. "I'm ready." I state and smile at Kevin. "You look absolutely...incredible." He says and takes my hand. "Thank you, you look great, too." I reply smirking. "Let's go." He says and leads me out of our house. "Where are we going?" I ask as we both enter his car. "That's a surprise." He answers and turns the car on. I sigh, knowing that I won't get anymore information. Throughout the whole drive, I look out of the window and try to figure out where we are going. After half an hour Kevin finally stops and I look around. We're in front of a big lake and I finally get where we are going, because this is the place we first kissed at. Exactly 4 years ago, he asked me to be his girlfriend right here. "Do you still remember it?" He questions and hugs me from behind. "Of course." I state and just enjoy this perfect moment, until Kev puts a blindfold in front of my eyes. "Be careful, princess." He says and takes my hand. "I'll guide you." He adds and puts his other hand on my back to show me where to go. "We're nearly there." He says, after we walked for a few minutes. "Are you ready?" He asks as he stops me from going any further. "Yeah, I think so." I answer excitedly and he takes the blindfold off of my eyes and what I see completely takes my breath away. A blanket lays right beside the river and there are candles and roses everywhere. "This is so beautiful." I state and turn around to face my boyfriend, who shows me his irresistible smile. "You are even more beautiful." He says and sits down on the blanket. I slightly blush and sit down next to him. "Thank you so much, Kevin, not only for this, but for this past 4 years. They've been the best in my entire life." I say with a few tears in my eyes. "Don't cry." He says and softly wipes my tears away. "I love you so much." He adds and gives me a soft kiss on the lips. "I love you, too." I reply and rest my head on his shoulder. "Are you ready for your next present?" Kevin asks after a few moments of silence. I nod and pull the present, that I got him, out of the small pocket of my dress. "I've got something for you, too." I state and hand the small box to him. "Thanks so much." He smiles and carefully opens to box to reveal a silver watch with the date, we got together and our initials engraved in it. "Wow, it's amazing, thank you." He says and gives me a short peck on my lips, after he put the watch on. Then he hands me a big present. I quickly thank him and start to open the box. Inside of the box lays a big book and as I open it, I can see sites full of pictures of the both of us. I quickly wipe a tear away as I look at all of the pictures. "Thank you so, so much. That's the best present I've ever got." I smile and he wraps one arm around my shoulder. "I still have one present for you." Kevin says and stands up. He takes a deep breath and gets on one knee. I start to shake and I can feel tears brimming in my eyes again. "Emily L/N, I've known you for a bit over 4 years now and it have been exactly 4 years since I asked you to be my girlfriend. This years have been the best years of my life and I really hope that we are going to be together forever, because you are the one girl, that can make me laugh, even on bad days. You are the one, who is always there for me and who I can trust with everything. I can't even express with words how much I love you. You are my everything, you are the love of my life and I truly know that we belong together. Forever and always. So, Emily L/N, my love, my life, will you marry me? Will you do me the honor to become Mrs. De Bruyne?" Kevin asks and I can see tears in his eyes. He pulls a small box out of his pocket and opens it to reveal a diamond ring. I am completely speechless and the tears are rushing down my face. After a few moments of silence, I finally find my voice again. "Of course I will, Kevin. I love you so, so much." I whisper. He happily stands up and puts the ring onto my shaking finger. I pull him into the best kiss, that we've ever had and whisper into his ear:"This is the best day of my life."
