October 26
Madeline and I wrote more notes today. I love when we just watch a video in Bible so we can write notes to each other and our teacher doesn't say anything because he is at his desk and doesn't notice because Mady and I write in the back of the room. When I'm done writing her a note and she isn't sitting near me, Brienna tells her and Mady comes over to read it, and then write me back.
Ms. Dolly is still mad that I'm doing all this stuff with Bronson, and Madeline thinks she's taking it out on her. For instance, in chemistry, Ms. Dolly did something she never does. She took up Madeline's phone when she was on it during class. Ms. Dolly never does that!
Madeline was pretty p*ssed after that, even though she got it back after class. She felt better while we wrote notes next period, talking about this guy that likes Marissa S. named Luke Barnes. He's 30-something and he hasn't left her alone for years. Maybe he's laid off a bit. I don't know. I know he was after her for a long time, though, and wouldn't leave her alone. He's weird, too. I remember him having really, really hairy legs, and he would talk to his leg hairs like a lunatic. I don't understand that. He must really be lonely.
Madeline and I couldn't stop laughing, because one time when Luke tried to marry Marissa S., they were about to have to kiss, and she kicked him in the groin. Madeline said she would've kicked him in the hairy legs and he would have screamed that she was hurting (all his leg hairs' names).
He almost sounds crazier than Joseph! At least he's not a rapist.
I sat next to my friend Marybeth at lunch. Fortunately, there was an empty seat next to me so she could sit there. That almost never happens.
Dance went good today, and Ms. Scarletissa's proud of us. She tells us to think of how Lia would do it, and then do it better. I've been working on that. Lia better not beat us again, especially after what she did. Madeline is still sad over Daniel. We need to think of a way to get them back together.
Monica's mom and Ms. Dolly watched us dance from the windows. Then I saw Bronson watching and Monica wanted to stay a few more minutes to see what Bronson and I do, but her mom said that they had to go. At least Monica didn't tell her mom why she wanted to stay.
When Aunt Becca got inside, she said that Monica had a little attitude outside. When Ms. Dolly said that Destiny was going to be here on Halloween, Monica (who is apparently used to back-talking her mom) said, "I don't care who's going to be here." She was obviously mad that she didn't get to stay tonight and that she has to wait until Halloweekend.
