He couldn't stop looking at the picture of Calum, his eyes were looking down and his hair was messy, but still lovely and adorable and he had a smoke in his mouth which to luke; was incredibly sexy.
He laid on his bed listening to his music when his brother jack walked into his room.
"Hello." Luke said and Jack gave a small sympathetic smile of the corner of his mouth as he walked over, sitting on the edge of Luke's bed. Luke sat up and leaned his back against the headboard.
"Hey little brother." Jack spoke. Luke raised his eyebrow.
"What's wrong?" Luke asked when he noticed his eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were red and from crying.
"Um," Jack said wiping some tears away from his cheeks.
"Its mom." Jack said and Luke looked worriedly at his brother.
"She got in an accident." Jack said and Luke felt his heart shatter.
"Wh-what?" Luke stuttered
"Luke, moms gone." Jack cried. Luke stood up and shook his head.
"No!" He yelled. "No she's not! Don't lie to me!" He screamed and Jack stood up.
"This is a dream! I'll wake up and mom will be in the kitchen!" He screamed "it's just my medication tricking me!" He yelled as tears rushed down his face.
But it wasn't his medication, although everyone wish it was a trick, was a dumb dream; Luke knew it wasn't, he knew it was a nightmare he couldn't wake from.
Jack stood up and grabbed Luke's arm.
"Luke, it's not a dream." He whispered.
Luke pulled away and ran upstairs and ran out of the front door. Jack tried to grab him but decided to let Luke go.

He was sitting on the swing having a smoke, his mom went to work so after the therapy Calum walked to the other side of town and sat on some old swings that looked abandoned.
He stepped on his smoke causing a small stream of smoke to rise when he lifted his foot off the ground.
He looked up and saw a blonde boy running to the park. He looked closer and saw Luke.
"What the hell?" Calum asked himself as he saw Luke with red stained eyes and cheeks.
Luke sat down by a tree and started crying again. He put his head in between his knees.
Calum stood up and walked to where Luke was crying.
"Luke?" He asked which caused the boy to look up.
"May I?" Calum asked gesturing to sit beside him.
"What happened?" He asked Luke.
Luke started crying again and Calum wrapped his arms around Luke shoulders and Luke huddled into Calum.
Calum rested his head on top of his hair.
"What happened?" Calum asked and Luke lifted his head up.
"My mum passed away." Luke said wiping his tears.
"Oh Luke I'm so sorry." Calum said and Luke nodded.
Luke leaned into Calum again and they stayed that way for a long time talking about things.
Calum looked at Luke and smiled when Luke smiled.
"Luke?" Calum asked causing Luke to look at him. And in the exact second Luke looked at Calum. Their lips were pressed together.
