With each note, the whole atmosphere in the room just became exciting. Sometimes I would look at Jimmy, and watch him play. His fingers danced along the strings, and his body swayed along to the tune. Then he looked at me. My concentration on the strings, and the frets. I could feel his piercing stare, and it made me feel somewhat self-conscious. When we did get to the solo, we looked each other In the eyes, and we began to play. Both of the guitars, double neck , and acoustic sang the same notes. Each of them singing them with soul and passion.
But with all songs, there is a start and finish. Sadly, our song was done. I watched Jimmy put his guitar away, and he was about to say something to me, but my fingers began to dance again. Jimmy's eyes watched me carefully, and he slowly got closer to me so he can hear the tune better. I looked up at him, and stopped playing. "Sorry." Jimmy smiled. "There's no need to be sorry love. Now tell me, what song is that?"
What song was it actually?
"Well Jimmy, back at home I'm a young musician. So one day, I messed around with Jimmy, and this tune came out." I wanted to face palm myself when I called my guitar by it's name. "Sorry." I said laughing. "Jimmy is the name of my guitar..." Jimmy chuckled. "I figured. So, do you have a name for that little riff?" I shook my head, and Jimmy sat down next to me. "Well, how did you get the inspiration for it?" Wow. Jimmy seemed like he was reading my mind. "Well. I was having one of those days when nothing goes right. And I was sad. So hazah. This happened." Jimmy slowly nodded his head. "It almost seems enchanting."
Did Jimmy Page just call my own song enchanting?
"Really?" I said surprised. "Yeah. It truly is beautiful." He said while smirking, and I could tell that I was blushing. "What about....Oh! What about like 'Moon and Stars' " I smiled at him. "That's perfect! Hey one question." Jimmy looked out the window. "Hmh?" I set down the guitar. "Where's Lily?"
"Sleeping."
"Oh. Ok."
"We should probably get to bed too love." He said finally looking at me.
"I'll beatcha' there!" My feet scrambled against the floor, and up the hallway. Then I heard Jimmy's footsteps, close behind. When I finally got into the bedroom, I jumped onto the bed, and landed on my back. Only to see Jimmy about to jump onto me. I closed my eyes, thinking Jimmy would crash onto me. But he didn't. As I opened my eyes, I saw his green eyes shimmering, and his face smiling. "Yes?" I asked.
"What?"
"How?"
Jimmy laughed, and sat up.
"You're crazy Meredith."
"I only learn from the best."
Jimmy laughed and quickly pulled me to him, almost making me scream. I looked up at his eyes. "You haven't seen me be crazy." He said while ruffling up my hair. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Shall we sleep now?" he asked.
"Sure. I guess we shall."
