(A/N: Helloo people! We know, we are late extremely sorry for that..The update was to be published yesterday but, as both of us were busy, we couldn't update...Extremely sorry...Now enjoy Chapter 31 and please give your suggestions and keep supporting..)

[2 days later...]

It is the day of the concert. Naman and Nidhi are waiting desperately for Nandini's return. They are satisfied though, as they had Manik, their 'dad' with them and they felt complete together. They are enjoying his company and Manik loves them like his own kids. After all, they are his own kids.

~~Manik's POV~~
It is 1 p.m. We have our lunch. After lunch, the kids and I leave for school. The concert is to take place in the school auditorium and the judges who are going to witness the program are renowned musicians. But, their names are unknown. We reach by 2. I meet all my friends and their kids before the starting act. The program is to start by 4 but we all need to do a stage rehearsal once.

Manik: "Happy Friendship Day guys!" I hug Alya, Dhruv, Mukti, Abhimanyu, Cabir and side-hug Navya.

Cabir: "Happy Bir... Nah... Friendship Day!"

Alya and Dhruv (together): "Same to you all too, guys!"

Mukti and Abhi: "Happy Friendship Day!"

Mukti: "Guys, this day marks our 20-year-old friendship!" Is it? Yeah! Cool. We all again have a group hug.

All the kids in the school also wish each other and tie friendship bands to each other, their fellow-mates, teachers and parents. After tieing the friendship bands and wishing, we all move towards our seats. The kids, I mean, the kids of 'The Fab 5' help us get ready for our performance. We get ready in the backstage while, the host comes on stage.

Host: "Hey everyone! Happy Friendship Day to all my dear teachers, parents and children. I hope you all are just as excited as I am, for this competition." All of them start hooting loud.

Everyone: "Yesss... Yeah... Hoo..."

Host: "That's great. So I won't take much of your time. I would just like to tell you all that we, at Warrior Elementary School, are very honoured to have you all here with us this evening. Every good thing has a beautiful beginning. So for the opening act for today, I call upon the most famous band of S.P.A.C.E. Academy-the 'Fab 5' who will express their yaariaan with their rocking song! Give it up for the FABULOUS FIVE!" She leaves while the crowd starts hooting a bit louder this time.

Crowd: "Fab 5! Fab 5! Fab 5!" A couple of seconds later, there is pin-drop silence as the most famous band in Mumbai appears on stage. That is none other than us, the Fab 5. We take our positions, start the beats and begin to sing.

Ho hai zara si meethi-meethi halki si khaari
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...
(We look at each other, hold hands and wink at each other)

Ho... yaar woh jo samjhe baat bin bole saari
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...
(We go back to our instruments or rather places and start playing)

Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Zinda yaaron se hui zindagi
Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Teri-meri, meri-teri yaari-yaari
Hoo... hoo...
(Cabir and I look at each other, wink and pounce over the others, pushing them into our arrangements)

Ho kachchi pakki gullakon to tod-taad kar
Chillaron ko apney saare jod-jaad kar
Tere hisse ki main smile ko khareed lun
Meri smile ka kahin na kahin se tu jugaad kar
Chai wale adde ki bhi chai se hai pyaari
You know...
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...
Wo.. jiski chal rahi hai abhi tak udhaari
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...
(Cabir and I set up a thermocol tub behind the instruments which seemed to be hidden but it visible. We push them in and throw thermocol on each other)

Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Zinda yaaron se hui zindagi
Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Teri-meri, meri-teri yaari yaari
hoo hoo... hoo hoo...
Beer ke nashe mein talli hoke jhoom lein
Mastiyon ke raasto mein jhande gaad dein
Hosh humse apna ghar ke le agar pata
Arre... hosh se kahein ki hum hai ash mein pale
(Alya and Dhruv come towards us, Mukti, Cabir and I and throw a bucket of water on us. We chase them, playing our instruments. The crowd keeps cheering, hooting and giggling at us.)

Class bunk maar ke pahaadon pe jaari (What?)
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...

Wo ho.. ghar pe goli deke bhaagne ki bimari (wassup?)
Yaari yaari, yaari yaari, yaari yaari...
(Mukti comes behind all of us, with a bag of popcorn. She puts it on us, and everyone starts laughing, including us. We continue our song.)

Go!
Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Zinda yaaron se hui zindagi
Wo o o ho.. wo ho.. wo ho...
Teri-meri...
Meri-teri...
Yaari yaari
oo.. hoo.. hoo..

Just as we finish our song, the audience begin shouting. Just then, I grab the mic from it's stand.

Manik: "Hello everyone. We're sure you loved our song." I point the mic towards them. They all shout. "Today, we, the Fab 5, mark our 20-year old friendship. Everything we showed you, on stage today, were some moments of Ab 5, where we had fun. I hope we somehow made you all think about your memories with your friends. So happy friendship day. Have fun with your friends. Cheers." Everyone hoots and cheers for us.

Crowd: "Once more! Once more!" First we hesitate but when our kids: Naman, Nidhi, Samarth, Divya, Akshay and Kavya request for another song, we give in. We decide to sing another song for the opening performance. We start to sing.

Yaaron dosti badi hi haseen hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindagi hai
Koi to ho raajdaar
Begaraj tera ho yaar
Koi to ho raajdaar
Yaaron mohabat hai to bandagi hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir bolo yeh zindagi Hai
Koi to dilbarr ho yaar
Jisko tujhse ho pyar
Koi to dilbar ho yaar
Teri har ke burai pe daante boh dost
Gam ki ho dhoop to saaya bane Tera woh dost naache bhi woh teri khushi main
Aree yaaron dosti badi hi haseen hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindagi hai
Koi to ho raazdaar
Begaraj tera ho yaar
Koi to ho raazdaar
Tan mann kar tujhpe Fida
Mehboob woh palkon pe jo rakhe tujhe
Mehboob woh jiski wafa tere liye ho
Are yaaron mohabbat hi to bandagi hai
Yeh na ho to kya phir
Bolo yeh zindgi hai
Koi to dilbar ho yaar
Jisko tujhse ho pyaar
Koi to dilbar ho yaar.

Host: "Mesmerising! Truly, it was a fabulous performance. No wonder they're called the Fab 5. How was the opening act audience?"

Audience: "Awesome! Awesome! Superb!" Of course, after all, we are Fab 5!

Host: "So now, lets start with our Family Musicana. Since, most of you do not know about the event, let me briefly tell you all about it. So, the Family Musicana will have a total of two rounds. First round will be between children and the secound will be between the parents. After the programme, there will be secret ballet and the pair/group which will get maximum votes or likes, will be the Family Musicana winner. So, basically there are two winners of this competition. Let me now introduce you all to today's judges.

1. S.P.A.C.E. Academy's principal, Mr. Agnihotra

2. The most popular classical singer, Mr.Pandit Trilok Chaurasiya; and last but not the least...

3. Two famous solo singers, Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal as special chief guests.

Host: "Now, let us start the concert with a performance by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal. So people, cheer for them!" My eyes fall on Pandit. Fuck that Pandit. Why did he have to come here?

Kehte hain
Khuda ne iss jahaan mein
Sabhi ke liye kisi na kisi ko hai banaaya
har kisi ke liye
Tera milna hai uss rab ka ishaara
Maano mujhko banaya tere jaise hi kisi ke liye

Kuch toh hai tujh se raabta
Kuch toh hai tujh se raabta
Kaise hum jaane, hume kya pata
Kuch toh hai tujh se raabta
Tu humsafar hai
Phir kya fikar hai
Jeene ki wajah hi yehi hai
Marna issi ke liye

Kehte hain
Khuda ne iss jahaan mein
Sabhi ke liye kisi na kisi ko hai banaaya
har kisi ke liye...

hmm Meharbaani jaate-jaate mujhpe kar gaya
Guzarta saa lamha ek daaman bhar gaya
Tera nazaara mila, roshan sitaara mila
Taqdeer ki kashtiyon ko kinara mila

Sadiyon se tarse hai jaisi zindagi ke liye
Teri sohbat mein duaayein hain ussi ke liye
Tera milna hai uss rab ka ishaara
Maano mujhko banaya tere hi jaise kisi ke liye

Kuch toh hai tujh se raabta
Kuch toh hai tujh se raabta
Kaise hum jaane hume kya pata
Kuch toh hai tujhse raabta

Tu humsafar hai, phir kya fiqar hai
Jeene ki wajah hi yehi hai
Marna issi ke liye

Kehte hain
Khuda ne iss jahaan mein
Sabhi ke liye kisi na kisi ko hai banaaya
Har kisi ke liye...

Host: "Whoa! That was an tremendous performance! You both rocked the stage!"

Shreya: "Well, we have done our work, now let's look forward to the Family Musicana!"

Arijit: "Yup! I am very excited for the competition."

Host: "Yes, I think we all are. Thank you Arijit and Shreya, please have a seat." Shreya and Arijit greet Mr. Agnihotra and that stupid Pandit and make themselves comfortable. "Crowd, put your hands together for our future Fab5, or rather the Sizzling 6, the kids of Fab 5! Naman, Nidhi, Samarth, Kavya, Divya and Akshay; the stage is all yours!" We all sit in the front row of the auditorium. The kids take their positions. Naman and Nidhi take a deep breath and look at me. I signal them an 'All-the-best' with my all-time famous wink and they smile. Pandit clears his throat in the mike. Fab4 and I fume with anger because of that jerk. Can he ever change?

(Chaloo, done atlast!!Its quite lengthy we think so!! Please tap '🌟'and comment and tell us about your point of views..Next update Monday? Count of Votes and Comments will decide that...For now, Tata Bubiee🙂)
