"How about you Instagram this."
"Thanks guys for taking Jess tonight, I really want to take Brooke out tonight." This was our last day in Chicago before the show, so I wanted to take Brooklyn out on a date, I wanted her to know how much I appreciate her for being by my side. "No problem Justin, besides she loves spending time with Auntie Bella and Uncle Ryan." Isabella said while taking Jessica from my arms. "Ok be good for Auntie Bella and Uncle Ryan, ok? Daddy will see you later." I kissed her cheek, she smiled and waved by to me.
"Date night?" I jumped when I saw Alfredo walking towards me. "Damn it why do you always do that?" I mumbled, he thought it was funny to just sneak up on people. "But yes, tonight I'm taking Brooklyn out for a date." I shrugged and Alfredo nodded. "So how you dealing with this daddy-o stuff?" He asked me and I signed. "I mean it's still hard to wrap my head around but I'm starting to kind of get the hang of it." I still had a long way to go, but every day this parenting stuff seemed to get easier.
"Well you're getting the hang of it, Justin you're a great dad." Alfredo pats my back before entering a room, I was guessing it was Lynn's room, I hadn't seen much of him since the two started dating. "Alright, I can do this." I mumbled to myself before knocking gently on Brooklyn's door. "Just a sec!" I herd Brooklyn say from the other side, just hearing her voice caused an immediate smile to form on my face. "Ok, I'm ready." Brooklyn said, she opened the door as she was smoothing out the sides of her dress. "Wow." I was at lost for words.
"Hi Justin." She blushed, and I smiled, still had the same effect I had on her three years ago. "You look amazing." She was wearing a stripped navy blue dress that hugged her body perfectly, and she was wearing some white pumps that gave her a boost, but I was still taller than her. "Thank you." She blushed, tucking a loose strand out of her face. "Alright, let's go, I have a lot of thing planned for us." I smiled as I took her hand, tonight was just about Brooklyn and I, it was gonna be amazing.
"Wow, it's amazing." For the first stop of our date night, I took her to the Sears tower or the Willis Tower whatever it's known as. We were currently looking over all of Chicago. "It's so beautiful." She gushed, since it was dark, the street lights were on making the city appear even more beautiful, Chicago was better to see during the night. "It really is, but it's not a beautiful as you." I gave her a cheesy smile, oh come on what's a date without little corny comments? "I could be up here forever." Brooklyn said in amazement.
"Ok, now that we've seen the Willis Tower, where else to?" She said as we walked out of the park. "Next I want to show you the buckingham fountain, it's a beautiful site, and I think you're gonna love it." I knew she was gonna love it, the buckingham fountain was one of the most amazing sites Chicago had to offer. "Well I can't wait to see it then." Brooklyn smiled at me, once again tucking a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. "So if I would have know we were walking I would have brought some more comfortable shoes" she giggled.
"Yeah, sorry about that." I said while smirking. "It's peaceful here." She commented and I nodded my head. "Another thing that I love about Chicago." There weren't many paparazzi around, so I didn't have to hide my identity, the only people who I was worried about was my fans but I knew they would never hurt me. "Well it's a relief to know that we're not being followed, feels good just to walk the streets without any worries." I nodded my head agreeing with her, I didn't get to do this often, so when I did, I was very grateful.
"So here we are, buckingham fountain!" I said and she gasped. "Justin it's amazing, look at the lights and the water, wow I've never seen anything like this." Brooklyn smiled, and I instantly smiled, whenever she smiled, and it made me happy to know that she was happy, and I was the reason for that. "Wow look at it, it's just beautiful, here you have to snap a pic for Instagram." I looked around to see if there was any body around, and I spotted this girl, I called her over so she could take our picture.
"How about you Instagram this." I said before grabbing her waist and pulling her in for a kiss. "Be my girlfriend again." I said after pulling back from the kiss, she smiled at me before answering me. "I would love too." The biggest smile had appeared on my face. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to ask me that." She said. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to ask you that." I once again pulled her in for another kiss. "Sorry to interrupt but here's you phone, and oh you guys are so cute!" The girl said before running back to what she was doing before.
"Ok then." Brooklyn said before we bother bursted out laughing. "So where to next captain?" She asked me, and I shrugged, I wanted to take her to Navy Pier and Millennium Park, in my opinion those two places were the best parts of Chicago. "Umm ever herd of Millennium Park?" I asked her and she shook her head. "Well there's a first for everything." I grabbed her hand before walking towards the park, which wasn't far from where we were now.
"Oh my look at the little water towers!" She said, i smiled as I watched her walk towards the center, I should warn her about them spraying her but I'll keep that to myself. "Justin!" I herd her shrink and I laughed to myself. "Justin that wasn't funny!" She pouted, I shook my head continuing to laugh. "Im soaked now! And I'm freezing!" It hasn't snowed tonight but the temperature was a little cold, but it wasn't anything I wasn't used to, I shrugged and took off my jacket and handed it to her. "Here you go, it should warn you up, and besides we'll only be out here for a few."
"What about you?" She asked me and I shrugged. "I'm Canadian I've experience way worse." I said and she nodded her head. "Well let's continue this date." She said and I nodded continuing to walk her to the destination I had planned out, I was gonna show her navy pier some other day, I had wrote a song for her and I wanted to sing it for her. "Wait, is this where we're performing?" Brooklyn asked and I shook my head. "We'll be at the United center." I said and she nodded before taking a set on one of the benches.
"This is a song I wrote for you," I said and Brooklyn smiled but it was replaced by a frown. "Are you even sure we're allowed to be here." I laughed, always such a goody two shoes, But of course I made sure we were allowed, being who I am the people even supplied me a guitar, I was thankful I didn't have to bring my guitar, walking around with that thing would be painful, it's too heavy. "Relax baby, I've got it covered." I said and she blushed before nodding her head.

"Oh my god justin that was beautiful!" She said getting up and hugging me. "You wrote that all for me?" She asked and I molded my head. "Only for you." I kissed the top of her head, and I realized she was freezing, I needed to get her home. "Alright, well it's time to go back to the hotel, you're shivering and I gotta get back to Jess." I said while grabbing her hand, she smiled at the gesture. "You know, you've been doing the best job with her" Brooklyn said and I nodded not really knowing what to say.
"I'm serious Justin, you've been such an amazing dad to her and she's lucky to have you, I'm proud of you." She said and I smiled, her telling me that meant more to me than she knew. "Well we're here." I said and Brooklyn smiled before walking into the hotel, I followed behind her. "I can actually feel my blood starting to warm up." I just laughed and shook my head. "I'm not used to weather like this, I grew up in warm cities, I think it's the first time I've ever been exposed to cold." She said seriously.
"Still can't believe it, but I had an amazing time with you, and I'm thankful for you giving me this second chance." I said seriously looking into her eyes. "Justin, it'll always be you, no matter what happens, I love you, and I always have and always will." She said before reaching up to kiss me. "Goodnight Justin, tell Jessica I said hi." She said before walking towards her hotel room. I sighed and walked to my hotel room as well. "So how was it!? How did it go!" I was ambushed by Ryan and Isabella, I rolled my eyes.
"Where's Jess?" I asked and they pointed to her sleeper I had gotten her, she was sound asleep." Well thanks for babysitting but I'm going to go to bed, night." I smiled before walking to my bed, stripping of my clothes, I threw only pajamas and crawled into my bed.
Today has been the best day ever.
