Author's POV:
Dadababu's eyes gleamed with a malevolent intensity as he regarded aayansh, his voice dripping with venom.

"So, Aayansh, I hear you're getting married in just five days," Dadababu said, his tone laced with disdain. "Despite my explicit instructions to kill Vaidehi within two weeks."

Aayansh shifted uncomfortably, his eyes darting around the dimly lit room.

"I know, Dadababu," Aayansh said, his voice low and hesitant. "But I couldn't bring myself to do it. Vaidehi is... different. She's innocent, and she doesn't deserve to die."

Dadababu's expression turned glacial, his eyes flashing with anger.

"Innocent?" Dadababu repeated, his voice rising in indignation. "You fool, Aayansh! Vaidehi knows you're a mafia and if she opens her mouth infront the media then you're done. And you're putting everything at risk by refusing to follow my orders."

Aayansh swallowed hard, his heart racing with fear.

"I understand, Dadababu," Aayansh said, trying to placate him. "But please, just give me a chance to make things right. I'll make sure Vaidehi doesn't opens her mouth to the media."

Dadababu's expression remained unyielding, his eyes boring into Aayansh's soul.

"I'll give you one last chance, Aayansh," Dadababu said, his voice dripping with malice. "You have five days to kill Vaidehi. If you fail, you'll suffer the consequences. Do I make myself clear?"

Aayansh stood tall, his eyes locked on Dadababu's. "I'm not going to kill Vaidehi, Dadababu," Aayansh said, his voice firm. "I'm going to marry her."

Dadababu's face turned red with rage. "You fool!" he thundered. "You're going to ruin everything we've worked for. Vaidehi, she must be killed."

Aayansh shook his head. "I won't do it, Dadababu. I won't kill an innocent woman."

Dadababu's eyes flashed with anger. "You're disobeying me, Aayansh," he spat. "You're going to regret this."

Aayansh stood his ground, his eyes never leaving Dadababu's face. "I'm not afraid of you, Dadababu," he said, his voice steady. "I'm going to do what's right, no matter what you say."

The air was thick with tension as the two men faced off, their anger and resentment hanging like a challenge between them.

Aayansh drove through the city streets, his mind still reeling from the confrontation with Dadababu. He needed a drink to calm his nerves.

He pulled up to a sleek, modern bar on the outskirts of town. The neon lights cast a gaudy glow over the parking lot, and the thumping music could be heard even from outside.

Aayansh got out of the car and walked into the bar, the bouncer giving him a nod of recognition as he passed. The air inside was thick with the smell of smoke and alcohol, and the noise was almost deafening.

Aayansh made his way to the bar, his eyes scanning the crowd as he waited for the bartender to take his order. He felt a sense of anonymity in the crowded bar, a sense of freedom from the responsibilities and expectations that weighed him down.

"What can I get you?" the bartender asked, his voice raised over the music.

Aayansh hesitated for a moment before answering. "Whiskey. Neat."

Aayansh nodded to the bartender, who gestured to a VIP section in the back of the bar. Aayansh made his way there, the music and noise of the bar fading into the background as he settled into a plush, leather-upholstered chair.

The VIP section was dimly lit, with a single, flickering candle on the table in front of him. Aayansh gazed into the flame, his mind drifting back to the past.

He thought about Shruti, his first wife, and the memories they had shared. He remembered the way she used to smile, the way her eyes used to sparkle with laughter.

Aayansh's eyes clouded over, his thoughts consumed by the pain and guilt of losing Shruti. He had loved her, truly and deeply, and her death had left a gaping hole in his life.

The bartender arrived with his whiskey, and Aayansh took a sip, the amber liquid burning his throat. He closed his eyes, letting the memories wash over him.

"Why did you have to leave me, Shruti?" he whispered, his voice barely audible over the music. "Why did you have to go?"

Aayansh's eyes remained closed, his mind consumed by the memories of Shruti. He took another sip of his whiskey, the liquid burning his throat.

"I'm sorry, Shruti," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I'm sorry I'm marrying Vaidehi. I know it's not what you would have wanted."

Aayansh's thoughts were a jumbled mess of emotions. He cared for Vaidehi, he truly did. But he couldn't love her the way he had loved Shruti. That love was gone, lost forever.

"Why can't I love Vaidehi the way I loved you?" Aayansh asked aloud, his voice barely above a whisper. "Why can't I feel the same way?"

Aayansh's frustration grew, his mind racing with conflicting emotions. He was trapped between his loyalty to his mother and his own feelings.

"What's wrong with me?" Aayansh slammed his fist on the table, making the candle jump. "Why can't I just be happy?"

The whiskey glass was empty, but Aayansh didn't notice. He was too lost in his own thoughts, his own emotions. He was a man torn apart, unsure of what he wanted or what he needed.

Aayansh stumbled out of the bar, the cool night air hitting him like a slap in the face.

As the car pulled up to his house, Aayansh stumbled out, almost falling onto the pavement. He laughed, a harsh, mocking sound, and made his way to the front door.

He staggered inside, the lights in the foyer blinding him. He squinted, trying to see, and made his way upstairs.

Aayansh's legs felt like lead, but he managed to make it to Vaidehi's bedroom door. He pushed it open, stumbling inside.

Vaidehi looked up from her book, her eyes wide with surprise. "Aayansh?" she said, her voice hesitant. "What's wrong?"

Aayansh stumbled towards her, his eyes fixed on hers. "I...I just wanted to see you," he slurred, his words barely intelligible.

Vaidehi's expression changed from surprise to concern. "Aayansh, you're drunk," she said, getting up from her bed. "Let me help you."

But Aayansh shook his head, his eyes never leaving Vaidehi's face. "No," he said, his voice low and husky. "I just want to be with you."

Vaidehi Sharma's POV:
I took a step back, my heart racing with fear. Aayansh's eyes were glazed over, his words slurred and barely intelligible. I had never seen him like this before.

"Aayansh, please," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "You're scaring me."

But Aayansh just kept coming, his eyes fixed on mine. I could smell the whiskey on his breath, and it made my stomach turn.

I tried to move away, but my legs felt like lead. I was trapped, with no way to escape.

Aayansh's hand reached out, and I flinched, expecting him to grab me. But instead, he just touched my face, his fingers tracing the curve of my cheek.

"Vaidehi," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

I didn't know what to say, or what to do. Aayansh's apology seemed sincere, but his actions were scaring me.

Suddenly, Aayansh's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed onto the bed, fast asleep.

As I looked at Aayansh's peaceful face, I felt a pang of sadness. He was clearly hurting, and it broke my heart to see him like this.

I sat down beside him, and tears began to well up in my eyes. I couldn't bear the thought of Aayansh being in pain, and I felt helpless to do anything about it.

The tears spilled over, and I sobbed quietly, trying not to disturb Aayansh. I cried for him, for the pain he was carrying, and for the fact that I couldn't do anything to take it away.

As I cried, I gently began to undo Aayansh's shoes, slipping them off his feet and setting them aside. I loosened his tie, and unbuttoned the top button of his shirt, trying to make him as comfortable as possible.

I pulled the blanket up over him, and smoothed out his hair, trying to soothe him even in his sleep. And then, I lay down beside him, feeling a sense of protectiveness wash over me.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew that I couldn't fix Aayansh's problems, but I could be there for him, and that was all that mattered.
