After a moment, Nirvaan snapped back to his senses and walked into the class, where Kanika and Tara were laughing. He approached them and, with a playful frown, said to Kanika, "Am I a kid that you kissed me on the cheek?"
Kanika grinned and teased, "Oh, because you didn't mention where you wanted the kiss," laughing mischievously.
Nirvaan walked over to his seat and sat down, deliberately putting on a sad face to tease her. But deep inside, he was actually feeling quite happy.
A few days later, Nirvaan casually mentioned that he wanted a kiss on the lips. With the farewell preparations in full swing, it felt like the perfect moment. Surprised but intrigued, Kanika agreed.
Kanika, in a mischievous tone, told Nirvaan, "After lunch, go to that room. I'll come with Tara, and she'll keep an eye out to see if anyone's coming. Then, I'll kiss you." Nirvaan agreed, his excitement evident.
However, after recess, Kanika got caught up in a conversation with her friends and completely forgot about the plan. Meanwhile, Vishal, noticing the situation, walked up to her with a teasing grin. "Oyee, chudail!" he called out. "He's waiting for you, and here you are, laughing. huh? Tch tch tch."
Kanika, along with Tara, made her way toward the room, but every time she was about to enter, someone would unexpectedly appear, preventing her from following through with the plan. Frustrated but amused, Nirvaan noticed her struggles from across the room. Determined not to wait any longer, he walked up to her, gently pushing her hand toward the room. With a playful smirk, he whispered, "Now, kiss me."
It was Kanika's first time kissing someone, and she felt a wave of shyness and nervousness wash over her. Her heart raced as she hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then, gathering her courage, she gently pressed her lips against Nirvaan's, keeping it brief and soft, unsure but eager all at once.
In an instant, Kanika quickly pulled back, her face flushed with embarrassment. Nirvaan, slightly taken aback, stared at her with a playful, confused expression. "What was that?" he asked, teasing her gently, his smirk betraying the amusement he was trying to hide.
Kanika, her cheeks and ears turning bright red, pushed Nirvaan away playfully. Without saying a word, she hurried off, not daring to look back. Nirvaan, still in shock, absentmindedly touched his lips and then licked them, a grin creeping across his face. "I didn't even realize... my lips are so soft," he muttered to himself, then added, "And her lips... oh wow, I'm feeling something. Heh heh." But just as quickly, he shook his head, trying to regain his composure. "Control, Nirvaan. You're a guy, don't get carried away," he said, talking himself down.
A few days later, Nirvaan and Kanika had a fight, and soon, their friends began to notice the tension between them. Word spread quickly, and everyone began asking what had happened, but neither of them was willing to talk about it. They kept quiet, unwilling to explain.
The next day, when Kanika walked into class, she noticed that nobody had arrived yet, except for Manav and Nirvaan. She quietly took a seat at the far end of the room, hoping to avoid any tension. Opening her book, she tried to focus on her reading, but the silence between her and Nirvaan felt heavy.
After a few minutes, Nirvaan, clearly upset, stood up and walked out of the class in anger. He was frustrated-Kanika hadn't made any effort to talk to him, and that silence was starting to hurt. He slammed the door behind him as he left, feeling like she was ignoring him completely.
After Nirvaan stormed out, Manav approached Kanika, sensing something was wrong. He sat beside her and asked, "What happened? Why are you both acting like this?"
Kanika sighed, looking down at her book before speaking in a low voice. "He... he said he wanted a kiss," she began, hesitating. "But you know I'm shy, I can't just do that. And he's a guy, of course, he wanted it. But I can't tell him no. because I wanted it too but I can't tell him about it because I know he'll tease me about it."
She paused for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. "And, you know, whenever he's around or even just in front of me, I feel so nervous. I can't help it. How am I supposed to kiss him when I'm like this?" She looked up at Manav, her face flushed with embarrassment. "It's just too much for me to handle."
Manav tried hard to control his laughter, but a small chuckle escaped him. "It's really simple, yaar," he said, trying to lighten the mood.
Kanika shot him a warning look, her voice firm. "Don't you dare tell him anything, okay?"
Manav grinned, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Okay, okay, I won't tell him anything. But..." He leaned in slightly, a teasing glint in his eyes. "He'll kiss you, okay? It's my promise."
With that, he got up and walked out of the class, leaving Kanika both embarrassed and curious about what would happen next.
After Manav left Kanika, he made his way to find Nirvaan, who was still fuming. "Bro," Manav started, trying to calm him down, "I think you have to kiss Kanika. It's the only way you both will get close again, and your anger will fade too."
Nirvaan shot him an angry look, clearly not in the mood for advice. But Manav didn't back off, continuing with a grin, "Bro, you know how it is-guys have to make the first move. And you also know she's shy, not like those other shameless girls. You have to treat her right, show her you care, and make the first move. Then, apologize to her for whatever happened."
Nirvaan's anger was still there, but Manav's words seemed to make sense. He sighed and rubbed his temples. "Fine," he muttered.
Manav smiled, patting him on the back. "Now go. I'll be outside, keeping an eye out. Don't let anyone enter the room." And with that, he left, leaving Nirvaan to figure out how to face Kanika.
Nirvaan walked into the room where Kanika was sitting, staring out the window with a sad look on her face. He could tell she was upset. He sat down a couple of seats away from her, careful to keep his distance since there was a camera in the room.
"Oyee, teddy bear," Nirvaan called out teasingly, a smile tugging at his lips.
Kanika didn't turn, her voice cold as she said, "Don't call me that, okay?"
Nirvaan chuckled, knowing very well that Kanika secretly liked it when he called her "teddy bear." It was his playful nickname for her. He leaned back in his seat and, with a hint of sincerity, said, "Sorry, na."
Kanika finally turned toward him, her expression softening a little. "Fine," she said, not fully convinced but still responding.
Nirvaan's eyes sparkled as he pointed to the corner of the room, just beside the door where the camera couldn't see them. "Come here," he said, his voice gentle but full of emotion. "I wanna hug you and end this fight."
Kanika raised an eyebrow, confused at first. "Why?" she asked, still hesitant.
Nirvaan then gave her his signature puppy-dog face, the one that always worked on her. His eyes were wide, and his lips formed a soft pout. Kanika couldn't resist. With a sigh, she stood up and walked over to the corner, unable to deny his charm.
Nirvaan walked over to the corner where Kanika stood and pulled her into a tight hug. "Sorry, baby," he whispered softly, his voice sincere. "You know I'm not good at saying sorry, but please, forgive me."
Kanika, still feeling a bit shy, pulled back slightly and looked up at him. "Don't call me baby," she said with a small smile. "Teddy bear is fine."
Nirvaan chuckled, nodding playfully. "Okay, okay, my baby bear," he said, unable to resist teasing her just a little.
They stayed like that for a few minutes, wrapped up in each other's arms. The warmth of the hug was comforting, and for a moment, all the tension seemed to melt away. Both found solace in the embrace, feeling safe and reassured in each other's presence. It was as if, in that moment, everything else faded into the background.
Nirvaan's words caught Kanika off guard. "I wanna kiss you," he said, his voice low and husky. Kanika's eyes widened in shock, and she stuttered, "Huh?"
Nirvaan's eyes locked onto hers, and he repeated, "I wanna kiss you, sunshine." Kanika's expression softened, and she replied, "Oh, okay."
Without another word, Nirvaan gently removed Kanika's glasses and pressed his lips to hers. The flavor of her lips was a sweet combination of vanilla, strawberry, and caramel flavor of Nirvaan's lips. As their lips met, the flavors mingled, creating a unique and intoxicating taste.
The kiss began softly, but soon deepened into a passionate and all-consuming embrace. Both Nirvaan and Kanika were lost in the moment, their senses heightened as they felt each other's warmth and desire.
Just as the kiss was reaching its peak, Manav's voice interrupted the moment, "Bro, hurry up! Students are coming!" The sudden interruption broke the spell, and Nirvaan and Kanika were forced to part, their lips still tingling from the kiss.
Nirvaan hugged Kanika tightly again, his voice soft and sincere. "Please, don't get angry with me, sunshine. It hurts me," he said, his words filled with vulnerability.
Kanika pulled back slightly, her voice quiet but full of emotion. "It hurts me more than it hurts you," she replied, her eyes reflecting the pain she'd been carrying.
Nirvaan, gently brushing a strand of hair from her face, carefully put her glasses back on. "I'm sorry, Kanika," he whispered as he adjusted them.
Kanika took a deep breath, her heart still racing from the kiss and the emotions that followed. "I'll be fine," she said softly, turning to leave.
Nirvaan stood there for a moment, watching her go, feeling a mix of relief and uncertainty. As Kanika walked out of the corner, he opened the door, and Manav walked in, giving Nirvaan a knowing look.
Manav gave a small smile. "All good, bro?"
Nirvaan nodded, his expression still thoughtful, "Yeah, all good."
Manav walked up to Kanika with a gentle smile. "So, are you happy now?" he asked, his voice soft but with a hint of teasing.
Kanika looked at him, a mix of emotions in her eyes. "What did you tell him?" she asked quietly.
Manav's expression became more serious. "I told him, 'You need to go and apologize to my sister. She's hurt, bro.'"
Kanika's eyes softened, a sense of warmth spreading through her. "He did. He said sorry" she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Manav looked at her, his protective side kicking in. "I just want to see you happy, Kanika. You know I'll always have your back."
Kanika smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "I know, Manav. You're the best." The bond between them, strong and unspoken, was felt in that moment.
After few minutes, the classroom slowly began to fill with students, each returning to their seats. The usual chatter and laughter filled the air, but Nirvaan and Kanika's brief moment of connection still lingered in their minds.
Soon, the bell rang, signaling that it was time for the daily prayer. The students gathered their things and headed out to the ground. The atmosphere shifted from the tension of earlier to a sense of calm as everyone walked in an orderly line toward the open area for prayer.
Kanika, still processing everything, walked quietly with her friends, her mind racing. Nirvaan, a few steps behind her, stole a glance in her direction but kept his distance, unsure of how to act after everything that had happened.
A few days later, Nirvaan was standing near the window when, in a moment of distraction, his hand brushed against the sharp edge, leaving a cut. He flinched slightly, trying to shake off the sting, but the pain didn't subside.
Kanika, walking past the room, noticed him and saw the blood on his hand. Without thinking about who was around or whether anyone might be watching, she rushed toward him. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw the injury.
"Let me help," she said softly, carefully taking his hand and pressing the fabric of her dupatta against the cut. She blew gently on it, trying to ease the sting. Nirvaan looked at her in surprise, but his heart warmed at the tenderness in her actions.
Kanika, focused on the injury, wasn't even aware of the curious glances from nearby classmates. She was only concerned with taking care of him, her thoughts entirely on making sure he was okay.
Unbeknownst to them, the entire moment had been captured on the school's security camera. The principal, having noticed the concern Kanika had shown for Nirvaan, decided to take a closer look.
As the final period of the school day began, the atmosphere was tense with the usual end-of-day rush. Suddenly, the peon walked into the classroom with a message. "Principal ma'am is calling Nirvaan and Kanika to her office," he said, his voice carrying through the room.
Both Nirvaan and Kanika exchanged worried glances. Their hearts sank as the weight of the situation hit them. They quickly gathered their things and stood up, their minds racing with what could possibly have caught the principal's attention.
With a mix of nervousness and fear, As they walked down the corridor toward the principal's office, Kanika turned to Nirvaan and, trying to calm him down, whispered, "Don't worry, I'll not let anything happen to you." She gave him a reassuring smile, though her own anxiety was building.
When Nirvaan and Kanika reached the principal's office, they hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door. A voice from inside called out, "Come in."
They pushed the door open and stepped inside, but Kanika froze in shock as she saw who was sitting beside the principal. It was none other than.............

Hello.....
Do you think Kanika acted appropriately when she rushed to help Nirvaan with his injury?
Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the kiss scene. I tried to make it deeper and more emotional this time-do you think it worked? Did you like it?
"Who was in the office that made Kanika so shocked? Any ideas?"
