"Hiking?" Todoroki raised an eyebrow.
"Yup!" Maki smiled. Handing him some hiking equipment.
"Did Bakugo give you this idea?" He asked. Maki nodded.
"Yeah, we've hiked together a few times. I've never done this trail before, though." Maki said. He nodded.
"I haven't hiked that much." Todoroki said.
"It's okay! I'll keep you safe!" Maki giggled.
"I'm not worried about that..." He mumbled.
"Hm? Did you say something?" Maki asked, confused.
"Nope." Todoroki shook his head no. She nodded, and the two teenagers started to walk along the trail.
"Look at that bird!" Maki exclaimed, taking out a camera. Todoroki watched as she took a picture.
"What are you doing?" Todoroki asked.
"I like to take pictures of different animals and plants. Hiking makes doing this easier." She said.
"Can I see the picture?" Todoroki asked. She nodded and handed the camera to him.
"Wow..." He said, "You're good at taking photographs."
"Oh... thank you. It's not that big of a deal..." She blushed.
"No, seriously. How did you get so good?" He asked, handing the camera back to her.
"I guess the hobby started in junior high. In my second year, my mom started gardening. The pretty flowers brought lots of birds, and I began to admire them by the window." She explained, "Then, my father got me a camera because he noticed how much I stared at the flowers and birds. He used to take me bird watching, but we don't do it anymore."
"Why not?" Todoroki asked.
"We both just got really busy." Maki replied. He nodded, and the two continued to walk along the path.
During the hike, Maki and Todoroki saw various pants and animals. Maki took photographs of them all and showed Todoroki. Maki even took pictures of Todoroki without him knowing.
Once the two teens got to the end of the trail, they both took a photograph together for the scrapbook. They ate some food and watched the sun set.
After a few pictures of the sunset, they descended down the mountain. The rail was bumpy, so Maki and Todoroki leaned into each other as they walked. Maki tried to calm her heart as they did.
Once they were done hiking, they headed to Bakugo's house. They dropped off the equipment and headed to Maki's house.
"Thanks for walking me home." Maki said.
"You're welcome." He said.
"Bye, Todoroki." Maki bowed.
"Bye, Kaminari." He bowed back.
