An AU taking a few ideas from @MariaAngela948 but since I have done a few amnesias in a row I am doing some switching here. This is a twist on the first flight . . . . . .
**********************************************************************
Serkan Bolat boarded the private air charter to take a quick flight to Gökçeada for the engagement party of Selin Atakan and Ferit Simsek. Another box checked in a long list of things that he was expected to do, family representative for Selin's engagement, what a joke, more like sacrificial lamb, but the box was checked.
His father was still angry with him seven months after terminating his association with Selin and insisted that he should attend on their behalf so, like the dutiful son, he did. Serkan could use the time to work or he could continue to nag Engin to see if he found the woman from yesterday. How hard was it to find one small woman? The side of his mouth kicked up in a wry half-smile as he thought about the previous day. He didn't even know her name but yesterday had been the most alive that he had felt in years. The beauty had him on his toes at every turn and he hadn't wanted her to leave.
Engin knew why he was trying to find out who she was. Serkan may have lied and said it was because of her scholarship, yes that had a small bearing on it, but if he was being totally honest, he wanted to see her again for his own personal reasons. Serkan wanted to match wits with her because no one had ever challenged him like she had, he wanted to spend time with her to see if the chemistry that he felt was only one-sided. Serkan wanted to know if a woman like her could be interested in someone like him. He sat and opened a project on his laptop but wasn't focused on it, instead his mind wandered to the previous day.
Eda Yildiz was excited to do the private flight attendant gig for Melo, she had only given her friend a hard time because that's what friends did. After the idiot Cenk broke up with her the day before Eda was at loose ends and it wasn't every day that you got to fly on a private plane. The supervisor had walked Eda through the entire checklist and seemed pleased that she had picked up everything so quickly, she even offered Eda the opportunity to work more often if she enjoyed today. Once the light came on that they had reached altitude Eda got up to begin serving breakfast, it was a short flight but she still needed to make a good impression. She was beginning to lean over to place the fruit salad on the tray when Eda realized that her passenger was none other than Serkan Bolat, she panicked and edged the fruit on the tray in front of him and ran back to her seat, pulling the curtain around. Eda knew that she had been a shrew the day before, yelling at him, but the man made her blood boil and not out of anger.
Serkan had the fleeting view of a slender arm, caught the trace of a heavenly scent and then nothing as his fruit salad appeared, he turned in his seat, "Excuse me? Hello?" There was no one, he rang the call button for the flight attendant but she was missing. There was nothing he could do but get up and go look for her if he wanted to have tea. Serkan headed back to the galley and pulled back the curtain only to see the spitfire from yesterday having some kind of an attack before his eyes.
He squatted in front of her and took her soft hands, "Look at me, breathe with me. Slowly, in and out." Once again, he was caught in the beauty of her eyes, framed by the long, thick lashes, her breathing began to even out, "That's better."
She couldn't tear her gaze away from his, "My breath caught, I suffer from claustrophobia and closing the curtain around the seat brought it on."
Serkan stood and drew Eda up with him, reaching around for the pot of tea, he handed Eda two mugs, "Come, sit with me. I insist." He kept hold of her hand and towed her, unresisting with him back to his seat. Serkan sat Eda next to the window, set the tea pot on the tray across from them, took the cups from her and set them down before seating himself. He reached across her and buckled her in when he noticed that she hadn't done it herself. Eda leaned forward and dipped her nose into his neck, Serkan smiled to himself, he would love to do the same to her and would the moment he got a chance.
Turning to her he held out his hand, "Serkan Bolat, sometimes a robot, always an architect and very much wanting to know your name."
Eda smiled at him and took his hand, "Eda Yildiz, sometimes a hothead, sometimes an architecture student, until I have scholarship problems, and very pleased to officially meet you." Serkan reached across and poured two cups of tea, handing one to Eda, taking the other for himself.
"Would you believe me if I told you that I had my partner Engin looking for you? I wanted to know your name so that I could call you."
She tilted her head, "Why would you want to call me?"
"I could tell you that it would be about your scholarship but that would be a lie, I think Eda Yildiz, that yesterday we had quite a bit of fun in spite of me being a robot and I wanted to see you again."
"Like on a date?" Eda clarified.
"Exactly on a date, what do you think? Would you like to date me?" he put the cup down, afraid that his hand would shake with nerves.
Eda gave him what he could only classify as a siren's smile, before saying, "I would like that very much because I did enjoy yesterday quite a bit and I had fun with you even if we did spend most of our time arguing."
"Do you know what I think Eda?" she shook her head, still smiling at him. "I think that we had quite a bit of chemistry and didn't know what to do with it because we had just met." Serkan leaned a little closer to Eda just as the plane lurched to the right. Their tea spilled, thankfully away from both of them so they weren't burned.
The captain came over the speaker, "We had a large bird strike that has taken out the engine, make sure that you are strapped in and prepare for an emergency landing."
Serkan's laptop had slid between the seats, he tucked it into the pocket and dumped the tea on the floor before putting the cups in another pocket, he reached over and dumped the contents of the pot on the floor and tossed it to the back of the plane then reached over to tighten Eda's seatbelt and his. She was staring at him, frozen in fear, "I'll take care of you Eda, trust me." Eda nodded, believing him. Serkan put the arm rest up and drew Eda into his body, he could feel her shaking, caring for her gave him something to do, someone else to focus on. He tilted her chin up, "I promise, we have dates to go on," he kissed her trembling lips then held her tighter and tucked her into him as the plane lost altitude.
"I'm glad I'm with you Serkan," Eda said into his chest, she was frightened out of her mind but Serkan made her feel safe.
The captain yelled over the intercom, "Brace, brace, brace," and said nothing else before they felt a terrible jolting and heard the scraping sound as the plane hit the treetops. The unthinkable happened and they were spun out of control, the fragile aluminum was no match for the jagged rocks of the mountainside. Eda's screams were echoing in Serkan's ears until everything went silent, Eda went silent, Serkan's world went black.
Eda was trying to swim to consciousness but she was in so much pain, slowly she opened her eyes to see that she was lying on the ground, the crash coming back to her. Serkan, where was he? Eda tried to push herself to a sitting position but her body wouldn't cooperate. She turned her head back towards the plane and thought that she might have seen part of him, "Serkan?" she called weakly. If she could only move closer to see if it was him. Eda made another effort and rolled to her side, the pain that shot through her right arm and side almost made her pass out, but she could do this, taking deep breaths, she pushed herself again. Eda thought Serkan was about twenty-five feet from her, she had to get to him. Eda tried to push to her knees when the pain overcame her and she passed out, falling forward on her face.
Serkan tried to open his eyes but realized that his face was half buried in the dirt. If he could do that then he survived the plane crash. Everything came rushing back, Eda, where was Eda? He began to try moving his arms and legs, thinking that he could crawl if he couldn't walk, one thing at a time. Pushing himself to his knees and brushing the dirt out of his face, Serkan knew he had injuries, he could feel the blood in his eyes, his back and hip were on fire, but he needed to find Eda. Carefully he looked to the right, not seeing her, he looked to the left and saw her, she was about twenty feet away from him, facedown. He reached up again to wipe the blood away from his eyes before starting to crawl to Eda, she was lying so still, her right arm at an awkward angle and blood staining the entire side of her white shirt. Serkan was beginning to panic, he had to get to her.
The blood in his eyes was irritating more than anything so Serkan stopped for a moment and used his necktie to wrap around his forehead before continuing his crawl. He was exhausted by the time that he made it to Eda, lying next to her he felt for a pulse and almost cried when he felt it. Serkan stroked her cheek, "Eda, sweetheart, can you open your eyes?" He kept up the soft words until her lashes fluttered and her eyes opened.
"I was coming to you but something is wrong with my right arm," Eda said on a little sob. Serkan inched closer to her.
"We can take a look in a minute. We made it Eda."
She gave him a weak smile, "You promised me, we have dates to go on."
He gave a little laugh, "After this I think you're going to have to marry me."
Eda said a soft, "Okay," before closing her eyes again.
Serkan leaned his forehead against hers, "Eda, honey, don't fall asleep." He felt the slight movement of her head against his.
"I'm not, I just really hurt right now." She opened her eyes to look into his, Serkan could see the trust in them and her pain. They rested together for a few moments longer, their foreheads and noses together, drawing strength from each other.
Serkan placed a soft kiss on Eda's lips before asking her if she thought that she could sit if he helped her, he felt her smile against his lips, "Are you feeding me kisses to distract me?"
"No, it's chemistry, remember? I can't help myself, but do they distract you?" smiling against her lips.
"Not like that, but I won't turn them down. One more kiss and then we can try to sit up, I think I would like it as a reward Serkan," she said with a small moan of pain as she tried to move her arm.
He looked into her eyes, now fully clouded over with her pain, moving even closer to Eda, Serkan got his arm under her neck, "Ready?" She gave a small nod, as he began to sit and drew her up, Serkan kissed Eda, deeper than before, taking her cries of pain into his mouth. With her left arm, she clutched at his shoulder and pulled her mouth away burying her face in his neck to sob out her pain. Serkan soothed her as best as he could, now that she was sitting, he could see the injury to her side, it wasn't bleeding as much but that might be from Eda's shock and he thought her arm might be broken. "It's okay baby, I'm going to take care of you." Serkan cradled her in his arms as she gradually calmed, ignoring the pain in his back, caring for Eda was more important right now.
Eda looked up at him, "My right arm is probably broken, but I think my legs are okay. If we can wrap it tight to my body, I think that I can walk. What about you? I can see in your eyes that you are in pain too and the headband is an interesting fashion statement." She gave him a weak smile and at that moment, if he hadn't already been falling in love, Serkan would have done it again. Eda's left hand had been stroking his cheek wiping the blood and dirt from his handsome face, they made a pair she was sure but she hadn't been lying when she told him when the plane was going down that she was glad that she was with him. She knew instinctively that he would care for her and she would make every effort to care for him.
"My back, hip and my head, it's probably stopped by now." Serkan looked around and only saw a small portion of the plane, the rear where they had been sitting. He didn't see the cockpit where the pilot and co-pilot would be nor did he see the other wing. Serkan looked back down at Eda, she looked to have fallen asleep or lost consciousness, she had to have lost quite a bit of blood from the wound in her side. In the back of the plane there had to be some supplies, maybe a first aid kit. He gently laid her down again, Serkan tenderly brushed the hair from her face, thinking that she was so strong.
He pushed up, unable to hold in the gasp from pain that shot through him when he put weight on his right leg. The leg wasn't broken, it was the pain that was radiating up his back, from his hip, Serkan found a long branch that the plane had most likely sheared off and used it as a makeshift crutch as he slowly made his way to the plane. They should be grateful that they weren't on fire but there were other issues. Serkan had no idea where they were and looking at his watch, they maybe had two hours of daylight left. They would have to use the plane as shelter tonight.
Dragging himself into the shell, cursing the entire way, Serkan was able to pull himself along towards the rear galley, he only hoped that there were supplies there since the forward galley was gone. At the back he found several blankets, water, a medical kit and some prepackaged food items. Serkan rummaged in the first aid kit and took some pain pills out, he swallowed four with a bottle of the water he found and headed out to Eda. She needed to have her wound taken care of. Serkan spied something wedged between the seats and pulled, it was his suit jacket, Eda could wear that, it would be warmer than her dress. He struggled back to her to find her, gasping for breath. Serkan dropped to his knees beside her.
"Eda, Eda, sweetheart." As hard as he tried, he couldn't rouse her. Serkan had no medical training but had an excess of common sense, he knew that there had to be a problem because of the injury to her side. He tore open the first aid kit to find the scissors so he could cut away her shirt and dress, that was when he saw the piece of metal imbedded in her side, it had most likely punctured her lung. Serkan knew that he needed to clean her wound and remembered seeing a bottle of vodka back in the galley, he pushed himself to his feet again and staggered back to the plane to retrieve it, not caring for his pain. Serkan rummaged in the drawers and took anything that he through they could use, a pan, towels, a sharp knife, some straws and the vodka.
He was almost relieved that Eda had passed out as he worked to remove the twisted metal from her side. It was longer than he thought it was as he withdrew it from her, followed by pink bubbles which he knew meant that it had most likely punctured Eda's lung, "Shit Eda, I don't know what I'm doing," he said to himself as he poured the vodka on the wound and then fed a straw into the same hole that the metal had come out of. Serkan could feel some air coming from the straw and he gently blew into it. Eda's lung appeared to inflate a little so he blew into it again then wrapped gauze around the wound and plugged up the straw, it was the best that he could do for now. Serkan looked at Eda's arm and had some idea where it might be broken based on the discoloration, he found two sticks, straightened her arm and used more gauze to wrap it in place. He could do nothing else but pray that she woke up again. Serkan lay next to Eda, covered them both with his jacket and fell into a light sleep.
"No, I haven't heard from him, I'll let you know if I do," Engin Sezgin disconnected the call and turned to his partner, Pyril Baytekin. "That was Serkan's mother, she wanted to know if Serkan was here, apparently he hasn't shown at the engagement party, Selin called pissed off that he was missing it and Aydan thought that Serkan came to work and forgot about it."
"He was planning on going, wasn't he? Didn't you talk to him shortly before he left?"
"Yeah, he wanted to know if I found the name for the woman from yesterday, I hadn't then, but I have her name now. Let me check with the charter company, make sure that they left on time." Pyril waited while Engin made the call and then watched as the color leeched from his face.
"What is it? What's wrong?"
Engin looked at Pyril in shock, "They lost the plane from radar. The pilot called in a bird strike that took out the engine, they called in a mayday but lost contact before they could give their location. They were flying too low for the radar to pick them up."
Pyril thought that she might vomit, "Should we call Aydan?"
"I'm going down to the charter office to see if I can get more information, I can call her from there." Pyril jumped up from the chair.
"I'm coming with, let me get my purse." The two headed out to the charter company talking through all the possibilities as they drove. Then Pyril remembered something, "Why did he want you to find the woman from yesterday? Does he want to do something about the scholarship?"
Engin rolled his eyes, "If I had to guess, Serkan wanted me to find her information so he could ask her out. You could tell that he was into her, there was an energy flowing between them, it didn't matter if they were yelling, you could tell they both were into it."
"I thought that it was just me. I knew he was impressed that she stood toe to toe with him and didn't back down. You were the one who told me that when she came to get her purse, he stared at her like he had gotten hit in the head and she stared back at him. They protested a bit too much." Reality came crashing down on Pyril, "And now he's in trouble."
They walked into the charter offices to find everyone scrambling for information. The company president had them sit, "We're doing everything we can to track them from their last location, Captains Sariyer and Ekvatak are two of our best, the flight attendant was new, it was her first flight, her name is Eda Yildiz, but our supervisor thought that she was highly capable."
"Excuse me, did you say Eda Yildiz?" asked Engin. "A tall brunette?"
"Yes, that would be her, why?"
Engin slumped back in his seat, "Serkan and Eda know each other. If anything happens to her . . . . ." he broke off his sentence, because if anything happened to Eda it would happen to Serkan as well. "Tell us about the search before we contact his parents."
Eda rolled her head to the side, she could hear a heart beating under her ear, the pain in her ribs was better than it had been before but she was so thirsty. She opened her eyes to see that it was almost dark outside and Serkan was keeping her warm and had done something to her arm to keep it stable. "Serkan?" she called softly.
He heard her sweet voice, "Eda? Honey? You're awake finally." Serkan tried not to grimace as he turned fully towards her, "How do you feel, I was getting worried that you hadn't woken. Do you think that you can take some medicine?" Eda rubbed her left hand on her stomach and then realized she felt skin.
"Where's my dress?"
"I had to cut it away, you had a piece of metal sticking into your right side. I did the best that I could to take it out."
"You saved me." Eda said it as a statement not as a question.
"I don't know if I did or not but I took the metal out," he looked around them. "Do you want to try to stand? We could try to sleep in the plane for shelter." Eda agreed to try. It was a slow process but between the two of them they were able to stand and then make their way back to the remaining part of the plane. The more Eda walked, the better that she felt, even with the little straw sticking out of her, she left Serkan leaning against the plane as she went back for the supplies that he had brought.
"You're in a lot of pain Serkan, I can see it in your every movement. Is it your back?" He nodded, so in the fading light, Eda had his shirt and vest off as she gently probed his back. There was a large bruising low on his back, radiating towards his hip. "What if I wrapped the elastic bandage tight? Do you want to try that?" They had few options so Serkan held one end while Eda wound it around him and fastened it with her left hand.
Serkan walked a few steps, "It helps. I won't lie, it still hurts like hell but it feels better." He handed Eda his undershirt, "Why don't you wear this and my jacket and I'll wear my shirt and vest."
Eda tried to hold up her splint, "You have to help, then we can make a sling out of the remains of my dress, I think I can just put the skirt part over my head and tuck my arm in."
"You don't mind me seeing you mostly naked?" He heated at the thought of it, they might be stranded and injured but the idea of being with Eda naked or mostly naked was always going to be arousing.
She chuckled, "Well I think we already determined that we had chemistry." Eda pulled her dress down and stood before him in her barely there bra and thong. Her body was perfection, even with the blood, bruises, dirt and the straw in her side.
Pulling her to him for a moment, just to feel her and their connection, "Lord Eda, we're both injured and half-dead and all I can think of is you. We definitely have chemistry but it's more and we both know it." Eda rested her head on his warm skin, turning to kiss him low on his neck.
"I feel it and know that it's more. You're the one that I've waited for and will continue to wait for," a shiver ran through Eda as a cool breeze kicked up.
"Let's get you dressed," Eda handed him the undershirt but Serkan couldn't help tracing her nipples that had pebbled against him from a combination of desire and cold. Eda pushed her breast into his hand, her eyes held his as he massaged her breast. "Soon Eda, very soon. I meant it earlier, there is no turning back for me with you."
"No turning back. Now help me because it is getting chilly, we can have some food from the back galley and wrap ourselves in the blankets and hope that someone can find us." Eda had a thought, "Our phones, maybe we can look for them, I know where I put mine, do you know where yours was?"
Serkan felt in his jacket pocket, "It was here, but maybe we can look inside the plane. Where was yours?"
Eda closed her eyes and hung her head, "In the front galley. It was a stupid idea, we don't even know where the rest of the plane is."
He held her close, "Not a stupid idea, we can look tomorrow, rest tonight and look tomorrow."
She knew where things were, even if they had shifted and got them some fruit, water and snacks to eat as they cuddled together on the floor towards the back of the plane. Serkan didn't want to tell Eda that he was afraid that there might be wolves or other predators, he wanted them as protected as possible. If no one found them tomorrow, they would need to make a fire. Eda watched as Serkan made a little barricade for them, "Are you thinking that there is dangerous wildlife Serkan?"
"I don't know Eda but I want to keep you safe."
"Tell me what to do to help." Between the two of them they were able to use the wrecked interior to build a small fort, it would hold them through the night. Serkan was careful of Eda's wound in her side and she was gentle with his back as they leaned against the plane and each other, wrapped in blankets using the small airplane pillows. They talked softly about their lives, sharing their past and their dreams for the future.
"When we're rescued promise me you will let me fix the scholarship issue but here in Istanbul? I don't want you to go to Italy unless you insist and if you do then I guess I'll have to come with."
Eda chuckled, "You would come with? I think you would be bored Serkan. If you are serious about the scholarship I would stay here. You are here."
"This is what we will do then, you will re-enroll in Istanbul and then work at ArtLife. Deal?" She held her hand out to his, but Serkan shook his head, "No Eda, you and I seal our deals with kisses." Eda happily sealed the deal with a kiss then rested her head on his shoulder again. Serkan held her hand as they both drifted off to sleep. It should have been uncomfortable but it wasn't, they slid to their sides during the night with Serkan spooning Eda, her head on his arm, his hand had worked its way into the jacket and was cupped around her breast.
The first faint rays of sun broke through their barrier, crossing their faces, Eda gave a little sigh as she realized where his hand was and that he had undone her bra in front too so they were skin to skin, his thumb caressed her nipple. "That feels very nice baby," she said sleepily.
Serkan hummed, "I like the sound of that sweetheart, we were made for this, for each other," he rubbed himself against her buttocks and was rewarded with her pushing back against him. "I know we can't but when we get home," Serkan didn't finish the rest of his sentence.
Eda's hand covered his on her breast, "Go ahead and finish."
He whispered in her ear, "When we get home, I want to make love to you and never let you go."
"Sit up Serkan," Eda slowly pushed to sit and Serkan followed, resting against the plane. Eda carefully straddled his legs, "I wanted to see your lovely eyes when I told you that I wanted the same thing." Serkan smiled, the right side of his face tilting as he let go of a soft, 'Yeah?'
She leaned her forehead against his, "You've protected me and saved my life, you are such a good man Serkan, of course I want to be with you, spend time with you. I love talking to you, or when you hold me and I especially love when you kiss me."
His hands coasted up her smooth skin to her waist and tipped her closer to kiss her, "I'll never get enough of kissing you Eda." They kissed good morning, Serkan had never felt this way before nor had Eda, they were both in uncharted waters. Even the day that they had spent handcuffed together was new and exciting for them, their hearts were ready, they didn't fight their chemistry.
Serkan helped Eda to her feet and then she helped him so that they could take care of their morning needs, Eda handed Serkan a pack of wipes she had found, taking them from him when it was her turn. Serkan took a look at Eda's wound too. "If you want to see my breasts again, you should either take off the bra or unhook it again." Serkan fixed the issue by snipping the straps and snickering when he did it. He lifted her shirt to see the area around the wound was a bit red.
"It looks to be infected Eda. I'm going to try to take out the straw and then put antibiotic ointment on it and a large bandage. Do you trust me?" Of course she trusted him and told him so. With her free hand Eda cupped the back of his head and tried not to panic. He gently removed the straw and Eda took small breaths while he cleaned the area, put antibiotic ointment on it and a bandage then had her take some pills from the first aid kit. "How does that feel, how is your breathing?"
"I'm nervous, but I think it's okay. Maybe I won't take deep breaths for a little while." He pulled his undershirt down, fastened his jacket over her and put her skirt back on as a sling. They had decided the night before to do some exploring. Eda only had one shoe, so she would have to go barefoot. She wanted to go with Serkan, it made sense to stay together, so they put water and fruit in a bag, added snack bars in the pocket of Serkan's jacket and set off.
In Istanbul Melo Yugel and Ayfer Yildiz converged on the air charter company when Eda didn't return, only to find the place in disarray. Melo recognized Engin and Pyril from ArtLife and went to talk to them, "Why are you here?"
Engin looked at the auburn-haired woman, "You were with Eda the other day, right?" She nodded, "Eda was the flight attendant on Serkan's flight, they lost them from the radar. We've been here for about three hours hoping that they have had luck with a signal but so far nothing. I've held off calling his parents."
Ayfer stared in horror at Engin, "Do you mean to tell me that my niece was in a plane crash?" Her legs gave out, between Melo and Engin they helped her to a chair, "She and Melo are all I have left."
Pyril rushed up to her, "They'll find them, I know that they will. We have to call Serkan's family, if we go to them do you want to come along? His mother isn't able to leave the house, she would probably welcome your company." Engin made the uncomfortable call to the Bolat's and brought Ayfer and Melo to the farm to wait with Aydan and Seyfi. Serkan's father had gone out earlier and wasn't home.
Aydan hugged Ayfer as only two women who were worried about their children could do. Aydan held Ayfer's hands, "Your niece doesn't know my son, but he's a fighter."
Melo, Engin and Pyril all coughed and then cleared their throats drawing the attention of the two women. Ayfer spoke first, "What are you not telling us?"
Melo looked towards Engin and Pyril, "Errr, well they do know each other. They spent the day together yesterday."
Engin and Pyril nodded before Engin said, "Serkan has a bit of a crush on Eda." Pyril rolled her eyes.
He winced when Melo smacked his arm, "Eda has a crush on him too." Pyril rolled her eyes again.
Turning to the two older women, "Yes, Eda and Serkan were together most of yesterday, we saw them, they have some crazy chemistry. I know that we are going to find both of them."
Seyfi Cicek, Aydan's estate manager had been eavesdropping, "What were they doing together yesterday?"
The three looked at each other again before Pyril spoke up, "We really have no idea but they did end up in an argument in the ArtLife lobby. Serkan looked like he was short-circuiting and Eda was the one pouring the water on his electrical board. It was a sight to see. He had Engin doing research on Eda all day because he was so intrigued."
Engin agreed, "I even called him on it and he admitted it. Eda will have her scholarship back but she'll have him too, wait and see."
Aydan and Ayfer stared at the three of them and then looked at each other in confusion before Aydan said, "Did you know?"
Ayfer shrugged, "I knew Eda might have had a crush on your son but other than that no."
The fact that Eda and Serkan were together didn't make the wait for information any better. When Aptekin rolled in at three in the morning to find people in his salon and heard the story he shrugged and went to bed leaving Ayfer and Melo staring after him. Taking Aydan's hand in hers, Ayfer said quietly, "I'm sorry that he isn't supporting you but we are here for you."
"Thank you Ayfer." Aydan held a little tighter to her new friend's hand. The night was long for all of them, they fell asleep for short periods of time, only Aydan and Ayfer stayed awake the entire time talking, getting to know each other and their children. When dawn broke, they both had a new respect for the other.
Eda and Serkan had been walking for over an hour, taking frequent rests because they both needed them. They followed the broken path of trees until they came upon another section of the plane, "This should have the main galley Serkan, maybe my purse is still in the cabinet."
He stopped her from stepping closer to the wreckage in her bare feet not wanting them to get cut, Serkan could see the glass shards sparkling on the ground, "Tell me where it is, I'll go." Eda directed him to where it should be and waited, she was starting to get nervous when Serkan came out with her purse over his shoulder, "It's in here honey," his smile spread across his face.
She took the phone from him and entered her passcode, "Who should I call? My aunt?"
"Do you mind if we call Engin? He can get us help better then your aunt or my mother I think and if you have enough battery then your aunt?" Eda agreed and handed the phone to Serkan who switched her to cell calling, he dialed and waited for the phone to connect, he only hoped that the signal was strong enough.
Engin reached for his phone and looked at the number, even though he didn't recognize it he answered thinking that it might be the charter company, "Engin Sezgin." There was static on the line making it hard for him to hear.
"Engin?" Serkan shouted. "Can you hear me?"
"Serkan? Is that you? Is Eda with you?" He quieted the others as they started to get excited.
"Yes, she's here, I'm going to send you a pin where we are. Both of us need medical attention and we haven't found the pilots yet."
"Send it now Serkan while I still have you and I can get it to the charter company. Pyril and I are at your mothers with Eda's aunt and her friend Melo. I can give them the message. It's good to hear your voice Serkan."
Ayfer yelled loud enough for Serkan to hear, "Make sure you take care of Eda."
Serkan gave a dry chuckle, "Let Eda's aunt know that we have plans and are taking care of each other. Wait don't say it like that. Oh hell Engin, we're exhausted, I don't care how you tell her that we're staying together."
Engin snickered, "Got it. I'll let you save the battery. Take care, we hope to have help to you soon."
Eda had been silently laughing at Serkan as he stumbled over his words when he talked to his friend. Serkan held out her phone for her to slip into the purse and kept walking until she was in his arms, "It came out bad but I mean it, we're staying together."
He was still so gentle with her, always aware of her injury as he held her, Eda was still laughing, "Well we still need to take care of each other but I think we need to shower, find a bed and get some medical care first."
Serkan growled a little, "I would like to take care of you now. I don't care how dirty we are but you need to get your lungs checked out and your arm fixed and I'm afraid they need to work on my back or hip."
She sighed, "We'll figure it out because I'm right there with you. I need you near me." They rested against each other before deciding to walk further to see if they could find the pilot and co-pilot.
Hearing Eda say that she needed him near her made his heart expand, "Do you mean that Eda? You need me?"
"I need you but then I think that you need me," she said quietly and continued. "I think that we have found our love together, a forever love and that is why we need each other."
He had never been in love with a woman before, this was new and frightening, he wanted it so badly, but only with Eda. Serkan had been lost after the death of his brother, abandoned by his parents, accidentally by his mother, on purpose by his father, love wasn't a commodity that he had been familiar with but Eda made him want it and want it with her. She had grown up with an aunt after being orphaned, but Eda had been showered with love by her aunt and developed a close-knit group of friends. She had been honest with him about the young man she had been dating, "If you could call not seeing someone for months, talking to him occasionally on the phone dating then I guess it was what we were doing but then he broke up with me because he had been seeing someone else while he was in Italy. He only beat me to the break-up, I had planned on calling things off with him but he continually dodged my calls."
That had been part of their conversation the evening before, Serkan had wanted to make very sure that Eda was committed about them. This morning, he could see her words reflected in her eyes and hoped that she could see his. Serkan rubbed his nose along hers before saying, "I need you Eda, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally. I need you to help me with love."
She kissed him softly, gently, "You have an incredible capacity to love Serkan Bolat, you only need to open your very fine heart like you have done with your brain. I'm here, not going anywhere and I don't mean physically, I mean I am with you." Eda kissed him again, Serkan took the kiss deeper before she pulled back to whisper in his ear, "I'm with you physically too."
Serkan groaned, her words chased through his body, they both knew that now was not the time or place, Eda wasn't done yet, "Honey, you need to move your hand," she gave him a bite on his ear lobe.
The hand she was referring to was on her breast again, "But you have such lovely breasts baby, I can't wait to taste them." He adored the tilt of her head when she questioned something, Serkan knew it was going to kill his back, but it was worth it. With Eda against the tree, he bent to her breast that he exposed and drew it into his mouth, his tongue and teeth played. It was his best mistake yet but they were both frustrated now as he let her breast go with a pop and kissed it before covering her up. Eda was fascinated as she watched him, but also worried as she saw the pain chase across his face when he stood.
Eda caressed his face, "I love how you make me feel, but then I love you." Her heart expanded at his smile, "But I won't have you injuring yourself further. Loving each other can wait, it will be worth it because it will be us, me learning from you."
"Learning together, making love together. I've never made love before, never been in love before, I waited for you."
"We waited for each other." Their romantic interlude had to end, there was more of the plane to find and hopefully they would be rescued soon. Serkan held her hand tightly as they made their way further towards the wreckage of the plane's cockpit. They had crashed in a valley between two mountains so the hiking wasn't as bad as it could have been but Serkan knew that his back wasn't going to hold up for much more abuse. When they came upon the nose of the plane he called out before hiking any further, he didn't want Eda to have to look.
She knew that he was in tremendous pain, "Rest against this tree love, I'll go look this time, don't worry, I can handle it." Eda carefully picked her way to the nose, watching for sharp pieces of metal and glass, there had been no fire when they landed, the pilot must have dumped the fuel. She kept calling out as she got closer, the smell from the cabin pushed her back, taking a deep breath she tried again. This time when Eda called to them, she heard a soft groan, her excitement that they were alive energized her, "It's Eda, the flight attendant, I was able to call for help. What can I do to help you? Can I give you water?"
A low 'Yes' made it to her ears, she had a couple of bottles from the last galley that hadn't broken and had tucked them into her sling when Serkan handed them to her. "I can't undo the top but I have water." She handed them the bottles and received their thanks, Eda explained about Serkan sending a pin of their location. The pilot and co-pilot were trapped in their seats by debris, the water was welcome. Eda handed them some granola bars that she had in Serkan's jacket pocket. "We are going to make our way back to where we sent the pin from but hopefully rescue will come soon."
Slowly Eda made her way back to where she had left Serkan, he was sitting at the base of the tree, watching for her. She hopped as she stepped on a sharp rock but kept going and sank to her knees when she got to him, "Oh Serkan, you shouldn't have put this strain on your back. I can text Engin and send him another pin." That was exactly what she did, when the delivered notification came through Eda breathed a sigh of relief and prayed for Serkan's sake that rescue would some soon. In another pocket she took out the pain meds from the first aid kit and made Serkan take some while she took more antibiotics. They split their remaining bottle of water.
Serkan gave a small laugh, "I never shared the same glass with anyone before or ate food if it already had a bite but it seems my love that with you, I will do all sorts of new things." Eda smiled as she fed him more of the granola bar. It was her turn to care for him.
"I like that idea. What other things would we like to accomplish together?" Eda wanted to talk and distract him from his pain.
He thought about it for a while, "Get married, have some babies and work with you, travel, but not like this."
She smiled, "Does this have a particular order?"
"Do you want there to be one?" Eda nodded.
Putting his head back against the tree and closing his eyes for a minute, Eda lay on her left side and put her head in his lap, Serkan threaded his fingers through her hair, "We have to get checked out medically first and then my order would be to get you enrolled in school, find out your schedule then get married, something small, people are going to be in shock."
Eda tried to push up, "Am I that bad?"
Serkan calmed her, "Not you, me. I was with Selin for five years and refused to commit and I am with you for 2 days and have committed to everything. What they won't understand is that I was waiting for the right person to come along, you are the right person." He was concerned when Eda moaned, "What happened? Is it your side? Your arm?"
Turning her head to kiss his thigh, "No you sweet man, I wanted both arms to be able to hold you and forgot about the right one, it hurts like fire when I move it."
"Sweet man, you wouldn't have called me that the other day."
"I would have if you had called me later and we had a conversation because I did have such a good day with you, even arguing was fun. Tell me Serkan, why did you get irritated when I unbuttoned your shirt?"
"Truthfully?" he felt her nod. "Because I wanted you even then and couldn't have you, I was frustrated."
"Let me clarify what I said before, it should be my sweet man because I know that you have a reputation to uphold in the office. I saw Leyla drop her mug when I called you a robot." Serkan was quiet and his hand was still, Eda knew he had fallen asleep, so she joined him.
After disconnecting with Serkan, Engin threw his arms around Pyril and kissed her, "They're alive. Let me call the charter company and have the rescuer sent to them." He zoomed in, "They're in the mountains so it will be a difficult rescue."
Engin called the charter company with the good news, they would have their teams there within the next two hours now that they had a confirmed location. He sank to the chair behind him, "I am so thankful that they are alive, both of them." Aydan and Ayfer stared at him, the fatigue and stress lines heavy on their faces, "Why don't you two ladies grab a quick nap while the search is happening? I'll stay awake and keep you updated when they are found."
The women looked at each other and then Ayfer asked, "What did Serkan tell you about Eda?"
He blushed, "Suffice it to say that this was one long and stressful date for the two of them but that they are very committed, he said that they were making sure that each other was okay and that they were staying together and Serkan meant permanently before you ask anything else."
Aydan's eyes widened, "He would think to get married after two days?" Ayfer sighed behind her, "What is the sigh for Ayfer?"
"Eda's parents and her mother's parents before her married after a week. The Yildiz women, when they know they know."
"Yildiz or Yildrim Ayfer? You have me confused."
Ayfer patted her hand, "Eda was born a Yildrim but I had her name legally changed remember I told you this? Semiha Yildrim disowned Eda's father when he married her mother. Yildiz was her mother's last name."
"You're right dear, you did tell me, I must be more tired than I thought. Let me show you to a guest room and we can both take short naps while they find our children."
Seyfi was putting out breakfast items for Engin, Pyril and Melo when Engin got a text, "They hiked to another part of the plane. Let me get this new pin to the rescuers."
The charter company let Engin know that they were about an hour out from the accident site, they would keep in contact and alert them as soon as they reached the survivors. Engin had just reached to pour himself another cup of coffee when Selin Atakan walked into the dining room, "What are you doing here Engin, Pyril, where's Aydan and who are you?" she asked Melo.
Pyril clenched her jaw, "Aydan is laying down. We've been up all-night waiting for news of Serkan and Eda."
She sat and took the coffee pot from in front of Engin, "Seyfi get me a cup." Selin tapped her fingers while she waited, "That was why I came to see Aydan, Serkan never showed last night. He said he would and he didn't, it was rude."
Setting the cup down with more force than he should have, Seyfi glared at Selin and was about to open his mouth when Engin jumped in, "Serkan and Eda's plane crashed," he continued to link them together on purpose. "They were able to get a call through this morning and send their location."
Selin's mouth dropped open, "So he didn't come because he was in a plane crash, oh. When will he be home?"
Melo had been staring at the woman, "Home? When will he be home. They are injured, they were in a plane crash. Serkan and Eda are going to the hospital once they are rescued."
"Who are you and who is this Eda person that you keep talking about. Serkan doesn't know anyone named Eda." The three looked at each other but Seyfi was already tired of Selin.
"Eda is his girlfriend or fiancée, I'm not sure if Serkan did the official proposal yet."
Selin laughed coldly, "Serkan engaged, very funny. How does he even know this person?"
Pyril glanced at Engin before she stretched the truth, "She's an architectural student, they met at one of his talks and Seyfi is correct, Eda is his girlfriend, Engin and I have both met her. Aydan and her aunt are friends."
"Well why don't I know about her? Serkan never said anything to me."
Engin continued to eat his breakfast, "And when was the last time you spoke to him about his personal life?" He already knew the answer, Serkan refused to have any one-on-one conversations with Selin and only spoke to her in team meetings.
"I talked to him the other day to remind him about the engagement party."
"Did you talk to Serkan or Aydan," asked Seyfi as he placed some fruit next to Melo who turned to thank him and asked him to sit.
Selin turned her glare on Melo, "Just who are you?"
"She's my new assistant," Pyril winked at Melo while Selin wasn't looking as Engin continued, "Since I spend so much time off-site, I need someone as organized as Melo to manage my desk. Melo also happens to be Eda's friend."
"So where is Serkan? When can I see him?"
Aydan's voice cut into the others, "When he says that he wants visitors, we don't know the extent of his and Eda's injuries yet. Good morning Selin, what brings you here?"
Engin went to help Aydan to the table, she smiled and patted his cheek, "I couldn't sleep." Seyfi brought her some coffee and breakfast items.
"You know this Eda person that they claim is Serkan's girlfriend?" demanded Selin.
"She is not this Eda person, her name is Eda Yildiz. She and Serkan have something very special." Aydan focused on her cup for a moment before asking Engin, "Any word yet?"
"No, but it should be soon."
Serkan heard the rescuers before he saw them, they were shouting for them and the voices woke him. Eda slept on, so peaceful on her slumber, like his own angel, Serkan covered her ear before yelling back, "Here, over here." A few minutes later the rescuers came into sight. Serkan broke into a smile, "You are a very welcome sight."
The lead rescuer nodded towards Eda, "Is she conscious?"
Gently stroking her hair away from her face, Serkan watched her sleep, "She's only sleeping, Eda's exhausted, we both are."
"You're going to need to wake her sir. You said the pilot and co-pilot are alive as well?"
"Yes, Eda spoke with them a couple of hours ago and gave them water and granola bars. How are we going to get out of here? Is it a far walk? My back won't cooperate and Eda lost her shoes, she has a broken arm and a puncture wound in her side."
"We will help you walk as much as possible but we have to get you to where our helicopter can land. I'm going to have some of the men take you two back and I'll take the rest to see about getting the pilots free."
While they were discussing their plans, Serkan began to wake Eda, "Honey? Time to wake." He watched her pout and heard her mumble. "What honey?"
Still more asleep than awake Eda muttered, "I'm tired love, I just want us to go home."
"Baby, the rescuers are here," he said softly.
She rubbed her face on his leg and started to sit only to drift towards Serkan's chest, he caught her to him, she was so dear to him, "I'm awake love but I like it here best." Serkan kissed the top of her head.
"You have to open your beautiful eyes baby," he said into the crown of her hair, still dropping kisses between words. Eda opened her eyes to see the rescuers standing off to the side waiting for them.
"I'm awake, I'm awake." Eda wasn't embarrassed that she had been lounging on Serkan, she always woke slowly, Serkan would find this out soon and it would become one of his favorite things.
Their plan was to do a quick medical assessment of both of them and then assist them to transport. They helped both to stand and Serkan offered to have them look at him first. The medic could see some potential problems but without x-rays couldn't diagnose him. When it was Eda's turn, she looked to Serkan, he knew that she wanted him to keep her from being exposed. The medic started with Eda's arm and thought that she probably had a fracture of her radius bone, when it came time to see her side Serkan had him cut the shirt down and he held the rest covering Eda. The puncture site was still red and tender to the touch but no worse than it had been earlier. Eda slipped on Serkan's jacket and her sling and they began the journey out.
Eda knew that Serkan needed more help walking than she did and encouraged him to let the men help, she would be right behind him with the third man. The trek back to their transport was slow because of their injuries, when they finally made it back, both were wrapped in blankets and helped into the helicopter. The rescuers made the decision to send a second helicopter for the pilots and began the flight back to Istanbul with Serkan and Eda.
Engin received the call that they had been waiting for, "They found them. He said that they are on their way back to Istanbul and will be flown directly to the hospital. He said Serkan and Eda made it clear to them that they didn't want to be separated."
Ayfer had woken by this time and was again sitting with Aydan, the two women shared a hug and some tears of relief. Neither of them made any comment when Aptekin looked at everyone in the salon again, he only seemed to brighten when he saw Selin. "Why are all of you still here?" Aptekin demanded.
"They are here at my invitation, we have been waiting all night for information on Serkan and Eda. You know, your son that was involved in the plane crash," Aydan said angrily.
Selin got up to greet Aptekin, giving him the attention that he wanted and explaining her version of events. Eavesdropping, Pyril overheard Selin telling Aptekin not to believe any of the tales he would hear about Serkan and a pretend girlfriend. Their heads were in close conversation as Selin went with Aptekin to get coffee.
Watching them leave the room Ayfer said softly to Aydan, "Why do you stay with him? He disdains you and your son."
"Until I can free myself from this house I am trapped in this life." Ayfer looked thoughtfully at Aydan, she got up and whispered something into Melo's ear and then asked Seyfi if he could drive Melo to their house to get a few things before coming back to Aydan.
"I have an idea. We have about an hour before we can go to the hospital so Melo is running home to get a change of clothes for us and bringing me back some herbal tea. It is a special blend that I use when I need to relax. I would like to brew this special tea for you and then we are all going to go to Serkan and Eda. All of us." Aydan looked into Ayfer's eyes, seeing her conviction.
It was almost time for them to leave when Seyfi brought the tea to Aydan, she looked nervously to Ayfer, "You think this will work?" Ayfer nodded, she had already told Melo and Seyfi to be ready to leave. Engin and Pyril watched in fascination, they were relieved that Selin had left already but knew that she wouldn't stay gone.
They were all laughing as Aydan steadily got more relaxed, Ayfer looked at Seyfi, "Did you use one spoonful in the water?"
He blushed, "I may have used three spoonful's, I thought that she could use the help." Ayfer covered her mouth in shock and tried not to laugh like Melo, Engin and Pyril were doing, even Aydan was. They wasted no time getting Aydan in the car and heading to the hospital, Ayfer only prayed that it would wear off by the time she could see Serkan.
In the helicopter Serkan held Eda to his side, he was concerned for her and hoped that he hadn't done any damage with his surgery. Eda was just as concerned for Serkan, he was in so much pain and had taken care of her, she tried to take care of him too but his care was beyond her. She turned her face to his, Serkan smiled at her, they couldn't hear each other over the noise from the helicopter but he wanted Eda to know so he mouthed slowly, 'I love you', she returned his smile and repeated it to him, 'I love you', it was their first mutual sharing of the words. Resting their heads against each other they were in their own world. Once they arrived at the hospital they were taken off to separate areas, Serkan made it clear to the staff that they were a couple and both needed to be kept up to date on the other's care plans, they had agreed.
Selin thought that she would get to the hospital early and be there when Serkan arrived and she was but if her motive was to see Serkan before anyone else she was thwarted when she found out that she wasn't on the list of visitors for either Serkan Bolat or Eda Yildiz. Both patients were rushed to radiology and were having their scans done when the others arrived. Selin turned to them, "Serkan doesn't want to see anyone." She had no comment and no acknowledgement for Aydan being out of the house, it didn't even register as an accomplishment she had been focused on her own goal.
Aydan, who was still a little bit high, made a small snort and swam her way to the nurse's station with an embarrassed Ayfer and a giddy Seyfi following her, "My son and future daughter-in-law, Serkan Bolat and Eda Yildiz, when may I see them?" Seyfi and Ayfer stood on either side of her to stop the swaying.
The nurse looked at the woman who was wavering a little, "They are in radiology now, when they come back, they should be able to have visitors, they wanted to see his mother and her aunt, his business partners and her friend Melo and Seyfi?" she read from a sheet.
Eavesdropping, Selin practically charged the desk, "Why is my name not on there?" The nurse had no answers for her. "It's probably that girl's doing."
Aydan turned on Selin, "Eda doesn't even know you Selin so she couldn't possibly have barred you from visiting." The longer Aydan stood there the clearer she was becoming, the grip that she had on Ayfer and Seyfi's arms got tighter, "Excuse us Selin, we're going to go into the waiting room." She steered the other two away from Selin before she burst into tears, "You freed me Ayfer, Seyfi, you freed me."
The three of them stood in a huddle off to the side of the room as Melo nudged Engin and Pyril, "I think she's finally sobered up, but what a beautiful thing no?"
Engin watched the trio, "It truly is, Aydan has been trapped in that house for twenty years and now she can be free to live her life again." He turned to Melo, "You know I wasn't kidding when I said that you could come work for me, I think that your attitude would be a welcome change at our offices and with Eda joining us it only seems natural."
Melo was stunned, "Are you serious? I would love to."
A nurse came back and asked for the Bolat and Yildiz families, "You can come back for a bit, both are headed up to surgery. They asked and we have them in the same treatment room, they said it would be easier to talk to you together." Selin tried to tag along with the group of people but Seyfi noticed her following them.
"Excuse us Selin, they only want to see approved visitors for now." Seyfi blocked her from following the family. He would stay outside if it gave them privacy.
Aydan swooped in, there was no other word for it, and smothered Serkan, who was shocked and pleased to see his mother and then she gave the same attention to Eda, who could only laugh, this wasn't the woman Serkan described to her. Her aunt was much quieter and whispered in her ear what had happened. Serkan greeted Engin and Pyril happily, "As you all can see Eda and I survived, we thought it made sense to talk to you all together."
His mother, waved her hands, "We know, we know, you two want to get married."
Seyfi watched Selin blanche as she heard Aydan's words followed by Serkan's, "How did you know. We didn't tell anyone yet."
"Ayfer told us that when a man fell in love with a Yildiz woman and she fell in love with him they didn't wait, do I have that right Ayfer?"
"Mostly, but enough of that, how are both of you? They say that you are going to have surgery, what for?"
Serkan looked over at Eda, "For Eda, my surgical skills aren't the best, they are going to fix the puncture wound in her side and set her arm."
Eda gave a slight shake of her head to Serkan, "He tells stories, Serkan was amazing and took the best care of me. I keep reminding him that he is an architect not a doctor but my love doesn't listen, instead he managed to care for both of us with two herniated discs and a fractured hip. He is my hero." Selin got more nauseous as she heard Serkan and the woman using endearments as they talked about and to each other, then about getting married. She had been with him for five years and nothing, he was with this woman for five minutes and he is getting married.
Aydan looked around the room, "Where is Seyfi, he should be in here." Hearing his name, Seyfi came into the room. Unfortunately he was no longer barring Selin from coming in and the others weren't paying attention to the entrance.
Selin walked into the treatment room, "Goodness Serkan," she walked up to his bed and leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek, effectively blocking his view of Eda as she took his hand, "Was coming to my party that much of a hardship that you needed to go to these extremes?" Selin gave a small laugh at her own joke but no one else in the room joined her.
Pulling his hand from hers and using the sheet to wipe her crimson lipstick from his cheek before speaking, Serkan said in a flat tone, "What are you doing here Selin? I don't recall putting you on the visitors list."
She tried to take his hand but he kept it away from her, "I thought it was an oversight, I mean I am one of your oldest friends and we were in a relationship until not too long ago."
"Months ago and not a relationship worth mentioning, do you mind Selin? We would like to talk to our families before both of us go into surgery."
Standing to the side Selin whined, "Engin and Pyril aren't family."
"Yes, they are, they are my brother and sister by choice, my partners and I need to talk about the business since I'll be out for a while so if you'll excuse us?" He waited for her to leave. Melo could see that she was resistant to the idea so she walked out with Selin and began to ask her questions about ArtLife. Selin became so annoyed with Melo that she eventually left.
They were brought to surgery separately, Eda was done before Serkan was and she was able to be discharged but was choosing to stay with Serkan in his room, she had a fresh new cast and stitches low on her ribs, overall she was sore but doing well. Melo went home and brought her a few changes of clothes and toiletries so that she could shower once Serkan was in his room. No one had any illusion that she would be staying anywhere else.
Serkan only wanted Eda in recovery and was a bit of a pain in the ass until she showed up being pushed in a wheelchair by her aunt. She was more mobile by the time he was moved to his room and able to take her shower. The visitors had left for the evening and it was only the two of them again. Melo had brought Eda some loose lounge pants and an oversized sweatshirt and Serkan had his own set of clothes to change into when he could finally shower. He felt disgusting and wanted to shower too. "Eda, don't you think you can wait an hour or so to shower and then you could help me with one?"
They were already laying in the bed together, both tired but wanting to get clean, Eda had her casted arm resting over his stomach on a pillow, "You just want to be naked together, you know we can't have sex in the hospital."
"No, but we can hold each other and maybe play a little and get clean, we are getting married."
Eda rolled her eyes but reached up to nibble on his ear lobe, "We can play, we can figure it out together after the nurse comes in an hour." She bit his ear and whispered, "You can come."
He groaned, "You too baby, I can't wait until we're home tomorrow." He only hoped that she wanted him as much as he wanted her.
Then Eda sent him over the edge, "I had them give me a birth control shot today. We have three months to decide."
Serkan groaned again and turned towards his fiancée, thankful they were under the blankets as his hand went under her top and straight for her breast. "I swear Baby, you make me crazy with just words."
Eda chuckled, "Well we're even but all I have to do is inhale your delicious scent and I want you." She looked at the clock and at the door, "Move your hand, lower please, please," she begged. He reluctantly released her breast and traveled down to her sex.
"Oh honey, for me?" Eda was so wet for him, she bit her lip as his fingers played with her, dipping in, not nearly deep enough, "Sorry baby, in the shower I'll go deeper for now we'll play here," as he pressed on the bundle of nerves at the top of her sex." This was new for Eda and Serkan but instinct, chemistry and desire drove them, he caught her mouth in a kiss as her climax broke, he stayed, gentling his touch. He was no expert, he had never brought a woman to orgasm like this before. Serkan didn't have this kind of relationship with Selin, the odd kiss on the cheek but that was it, she didn't inspire any kind of desire in him.
By the time the nurse came in they were talking again about their future. She agreed that Serkan could have his shower but carefully and that she would be back in three hours to see how he was doing. Eda had a waterproof cast and a covering over her stitches so she was allowed to shower too. She got everything ready in the bathroom first and then helped Serkan with his crutches. "You first honey, I need to see your beauty," he asked.
"I have a few bruises, I normally look better," Eda confessed.
"Baby, the same could be said for me, but I think you are beautiful anyway." His words gave her confidence and she shed her clothes. Serkan reached out to touch her, "So beautiful," he ran his fingers down to her sex and Eda widened her stance a little as he dipped his fingers deeper and sighed, 'Mine.' Eda had untied the strings of his hospital gown and was palming his buttock with her left hand as she repeated the word and kissed his neck.
He brought her to a climax before even stepping into the shower then stepped back so his gown could drop. Eda reverently ran her hand down his muscled chest, down his abdomen, until she captured his erection, her nostrils flared a little, "Are you sure we're going to fit?" He was sure.
Serkan backed them into the shower keeping one crutch, he may have lied about no sex, he didn't think he could wait until tomorrow as Eda washed him, torturing him as she stroked him, learning what he liked and what she liked. He backed her up against the wall and took one of her long legs in his arm before fitting himself to her sex, "I couldn't wait baby, do you mind?"
She gave him a sexy little smile and pulled him close with her good arm as he filled her. There was only the smallest pinch because Eda was so wet and ready for him, they couldn't move much but they didn't need to, it was enough. They kissed as they loved and rocked their hips together, Serkan came first, shooting his seed deep into Eda. The noises that he made when he came were magic to her and Eda followed him. She washed them both again and then he washed both of their hair. They relished their closeness. Clean and exhausted, they fell into bed to sleep.
Since Selin hadn't gotten to talk to Serkan earlier she thought that she would go later, she thought that Eda girl would have gone home after her surgery. Walking into the hospital, she found out what room he was in and headed upstairs. Selin quietly pushed open the door and saw him, or rather saw them. Serkan was fast asleep, the woman's head on his shoulder and his on her head, his arm holding her casted arm close, his hand disappearing under the sleeve of her shirt. She had never slept with Serkan before, never been held by him like that even when watching a movie. He sat on his side of the sofa and she sat on hers. If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes in a moment of total honesty like now, she wouldn't have believed it. Yes, she had heard them earlier but she hadn't believed it. Seeing them now, alone, when there was no audience, this was something she never had with Serkan and would never have with him. It was up to her to either make her relationship with Ferit work or let him go and move on. She silently backed out of the room and headed home, deep in thought.
When Serkan was discharged, Aydan and Ayfer knew that Eda was going home with him. Yes, she re-enrolled in school and only complained a tiny bit when Serkan bought her a new car two days later after seeing 'Uncle'. He wanted his wife safe he kept saying and if Eda had to go back and forth to class when he couldn't take her then she would drive a safer car, which is how Eda found herself in the BMW SUV. She hated to admit that she loved the car.
What Eda didn't hate to admit was how much she loved Serkan Bolat and proclaimed this in front of his friends and family one week after the plane crash as they said their vows. It was a joyous occasion for all that attended. Even Selin had attended with Ferit, a man who truly loved her and, when she removed Serkan from her brain, realized that she cared very much about as well and wanted to marry.
Seeing Serkan free his heart made Engin take the same leap, he had always loved Pyril and finally confessed to her his love. He was lucky that she had been waiting for him, she knew that he would be worth the wait. Aydan made decisions too, hers was freeing herself from her horrible marriage and with the support of Seyfi and Ayfer, she was a happier version of herself.
Loving Eda was natural for Serkan, just like breathing, from the first night that they came home to the day they said their vows and every day afterwards. When Eda got her cast off, they celebrated at home with a private party where Eda could finally hold Serkan the way that she wanted to.
When Eda graduated from university, Serkan gifted her shares in ArtLife making her an official partner. Eda gave Serkan a gift, she decided not to renew the birth control shot, when babies happened, they happened but Serkan was goal-oriented so she had no fears that she would be pregnant soon.
The first-time making love without contraception Eda cried and Serkan got nervous, "Honey, we can go back on if you aren't ready." All that earned him was a pinch on his bottom which made him come again and then Eda giggled.
"I wasn't crying because I was sad, I was crying because I want your baby. We're going to have such beautiful children Serkan. They will all be smart and strong like you are."
He kissed her tears away, "No, that's all you, smart, strong and beautiful." They saw the best in each other and what people saw as flaws in Serkan, Eda adored because they made him who he was. Serkan swore Eda had no flaws but she loved him anyway even if he told that tiny lie.
The Bolat's did have beautiful children that were smart and strong, but that was because they had parents who were the same. Eda and Serkan had been through a very difficult ordeal and came to the other side more resilient, more in love and willing to head into a future together. As Serkan had told Engin early on, they were permanent and staying together, it was what worked for them.
