Ruffnut and Tuffnut sat sulking around the table in the common hut (common room hut).
"Ugh there's nothing to do around here anymore!" Tuff whined.
"'Don't blow things up!' 'Don't injure snotlout'" Ruff mocked Hiccups lectures. "What happened to all the risk taking!? All the plights for enjoyment!?" Her speech brought her to standing. Suddenly she slumped back down into her seat "clearly everyone has lost all their youth."
"What's wrong with you two?" Snotlout laughed at the defeated teens.
"Utter, relentless bordem has captured our souls!" Tuff exclaimed.
"Ha! Alright." Snotlout pretended to understand what Tuff said.
"No one does anything fun around here anymore!" Ruff simplified for him. "The only risks taken are productive!"
"The worst kind!" Tuff answered.
Snotlout stood there for a moment. Thinking about how long it had been since they had all actually had a game night or hung out as a gang.
Hiccup and Fishlegs strolled in at the same time. Confused by snotlout a pondering expression and the Twins' defeated ones.
Astrid arrived just behind the boys along with Heather. She was just as confused. "What's going on?" She whispered to Hiccup while taking his hand in hers.
"Beats me." He shrugged.
"What's happening here?" Heather asked the room.
"Great! You're all here!" Tuff unfroze himself. "Let's play a game!" He said, imitating a host with his hands.
"Oh? What game shall we play dear brother of mine?" Ruff inquired.
"I was thinking..." He paused for dramatic effect.
"Truth or dare!" Snotlout spoke up, interrupting Tuffnut speech.
"I, was gonna say boar toss." Tuff sassed. "But if you're all so set on truth or dare...I guess that works too." He rolled his eyes.
Hiccup looked to Astrid before nodding along. Fish and Heather agreed.

Everyone sat in a circle around the table, the fire being a necessary part of the game at this time of year.
"So? Who's going first?" Hiccup asked.
"Me! Oooh please me!" Snotlout chimed. Since no one objected, he continued. "Astrid truth or dare?" He pumped his eyebrows at her.
"Ugh truth." She groaned.
"Who do you like more?" He leaned closer to the middle of the table. "Me?" He pointed to himself with his thumbs while smirking. "Or Hiccup?" He gestured uninterestedly towards her boyfriend.
"Oh man Snotlout!" She cried sarcastically. "Now that's a hard one!"
"I know it is Mulady." He flicked hair out of his face.
"I think...Ummm..." She tapped her chin. "I think I'm gonna go with," Snotlout leaned in eagerly. "Hiccup!" She pretended to be shocked at her own answer before coming back to her real character. "Any day of the week." She looked Snothat up and down.
Hiccup grabbed her hand under the table and squeezed it.
"Astrid it's your turn now." Fishlegs chimed in.
"Oh! Yeah, okay let's see." She looked around the table trying to gather inspiration. "Tuffnut!" She declared. He made eye contact with her. "Truth or dare?"
"Oh! Astrid!" He chuckled maniacally before stopping suddenly. "Dare."
"I'm alright." Astrid tried to process whatever that was. "I dare you..." she thought up a dare. "I dare you to eat a raw fish."
"Ack! Easy!" He stood up and walked towards the cold box by the wall.
"Uh! Uh!" Astrid shook her head. "From the dragons basket." She corrected.
Slightly less confident, Tuff walked towards where they kept the dragons fish. He took a huge bite, almost threw up, then swallowed it. "Ok ok ok I've done my duties!" He walked back to the table. "Hiccup! Trrrrruth or darrrre?" He rolled his 'r's extendedly.
"Dare." He challenged. Although given who was in charge of the daring it might not have been the safest option.
"I dare you..." Hiccup froze as he realized the sorts of things he might have gotten himself into. "Arm wrest me!" Hiccup let out a sigh thanking all of the gods for sparing his life.
"Ha! As if the twig would beat Tuff!" Snotlout snorted.
Hiccup shot him a look before scooting closer to Tuff. They both put their elbows up and interlocked hands.
"One...two...three...go!"
They were off. For a while it was a tie! No movement. Then it swayed in Tuffs favor.
"Ha! Knew itttt!" Snotlout sang.
Suddenly the tides changed! Hiccup made a come back and slammed Tuffs hand into the table.
"OWWW IM HURT! I AM VERY MUCH HURT!" Tuff wailed. Hiccup grimaced at the dramatic boy until he returned to his normal state of chaos. (Chaos almost autocorrected to chair and I just wanted to bring your attention to how funny of a sentence that could have been)
Hiccup looked around the table before locking eyes with Fishlegs. Fishlegs gulped.
"Fish, truth or dare?" Hiccup leaned forward.
"Truth?" He answered.
"Now," Hiccup looked down briefly, smirking. "I've heard some rumors that I think we should adress." Fishlegs sar in horror. "Is it true that you have a romantic interest in our dear Heather?" Hiccup smiled to his best (human, non-betrothed) friend in that way that your best friend does when they know they've embarrassed you.
"I-" he chuckled nervously as his face went red. "Yeah." He admitted under his breath, side glancing a Heather who smiled in return.
"Ok!" Fishlegs cleared his throat looking up, eager to change the subject. "Astrid truth or dare?" He asked swiftly.
"Dare." She challenged.
"I dare you to arm wrestle Hiccup." He stated.
Hiccup turned nervously to his future wife. "Please don't hurt me. I'm already down one limb. I really cant be loosing too many more."
"Oh come on you big baby." She mocked. They both placed their elbows up on the table. They locked hands.
"Three...two...one...Go!"
"And they're off!" Tuff commentated.
"It's an even start dear brother." Ruff jumped in.
"It sure is! The betrothed. The fight of a century!" Tuff continued. "There's a lot of pride and bragging rights on the line here today folks."
Astrid tilted Hiccups arm slightly.
"They're both still in it!" Ruff jumped back in.
Astrid pushed a bit more.
"Y'know, just five years ago this would have been a completely different story!" Ruff reminisced. "Astrid would have had him pinned in five seconds."
"But of course now!" Tuff continued for her. "He's got a chance! Our beanstalk leader has gained some strength. No backbone in sight but a whole lot of biceps."
Astrid gained more angles.
"Looks like Astrid is Gonna take it!" Tuff exclaimed. "She's done it! Astrid takes the win! She's still got it folks!" Astrid slammed Hiccups hand into the table. She then grabbed said hand a kissed him on the knuckles.
"My turn again!" Astrid turned immediatly to Heather, who knew exactly what was coming. "Heather. Truth? Or dare?"
"Fine. Truth." She sighed defeatedly.
"Is it true that Fishlegs feelings are reciprocated?" She asked.
"What does reciprocated mean?" Snotlout butted in.
"respond to, a gesture or action, by making a corresponding one." Tuff filled him in.
The attention went back to Heather. "Yes. It's true." She smiled a little.
The room fell silent. "This has been fun but I think it's about time we head to bed." Hiccup took Astrid's hand as he stood up.
"Us too." Fishlegs and Heather stood.
"Ok whatever." Snotlout exclaimed standing up.
"But I didn't get asked anything!" Ruff complained.
"Ok! Truth or dare, sis?" Tuff asked.
"Dare, duh!" She rolled her eyes.
"I dare you to jump off that cliff." Tuff pointed outside.
"No no no no! No! No jumping off cliffs! Please just go to bed." Hiccup pleaded. "We can play again another time!" He promised.

(Heathlegs)
"So..." Fishlegs started, while they walked to their huts. Heather was staying in Astrid's.
"So?" She questioned.
"Would you want to go on a walk through the forest with me tomorrow?" He offered.
"I would like that." They shared a smile. "Goodnight Fishlegs." She pecked him on the cheek before heading to Astrid's hut as Fishlegs entered his.

(Hiccstrid)
The pair walked hand in hand to Hiccups hut, where Astrid would stay the night.
Astrid sat down on Hiccups bed, undoing her hair. "We should do stuff like that more often." She commented.
"I agree." He replied from the bathroom.
Astrid stood and walked over to his cupboard where she placed her hair ties. Suddenly, she felt two warm arms wrap around her stomach from behind her.
Hiccup gently kissed her shoulder before placing his chin down. "All fun and games until you cheated and beat me at the arm wrestling." He whined quietly.
"I did not cheat, you liar!" She turned around in his arms to face him. "I'm just stronger! You're weak." She joked.
"Oh I'm weak now!?" He laughed. "If I was weak could I do this?" He lifted her up and spun her around before dropping her onto the bed and sitting on top of her. He covered her face in gentle kisses.
"Stop!" She laughed, pushing him off.
"Oh!" He dramatically raised the back of his hand to his forehead. "I've been rejected! Weak and alone!" He cried out sarcastically. "My girlfriend has I silted me and then pushed me away!"
"Oh stop it! You know I want you." She curled up to his side and kissed his jawline and then his lips.
"Goodnight, Hiccup."
"Goodnight, Astrid."
