Teja got up from his lap and said, "you first go and freshen up, aren't you tired from the traveling."
"Again you are changing the topic" Karan said getting up ," but then because you are not saying anything I am going to your room , see you there. "
"Can I even stop you ?" Teja said with a sigh as Karan moved a bit far .
But he heard it nonetheless and said back, " The truth is that you don't want to stop me " winking at the end .

In her room as Karan got freshend up he saw Teja lazily siting on her bed scrolling through her phone.
As he went towards her , Teja kept her phone aside.
Karan crawled on the bed towards her , gave her a quick peck and then rested his head on her lap. Teja adjusted herself better and then caressed his head and played with his hair.
"Do you ever wonder what our future would be like ?" Karan asked.
"To be honest, I have not." Teja said.
"Why ? "
" Because somehow, whatever I think about never happens in real , the opposite does.
Like I always thought that I will do an arranged marriage, not happening. Also I never thought that I will ever get to meet you and see here we are. "
"So you just don't think about future."
" I have a few dreams and I am pretty serious about them , but yes I don't think about them much because I feel that I will jinx it myself. "
"What about you, have you thought about our future?" Teja asked
" I did. "
"And what was it like?"
" I woke up next to you , with your hand around my waist and mine under your head and our legs intertwined , because I believe that we will cuddle a lot. "
Teja chuckled.
" We will then hit the gym together or on some days go for a walk or cycling nearby.
We will have our breakfast and if I am free I will drop you to work .
Then we work and work and work but will still find so time to talk to each other in between.
Once we get done with our work I will pick you up , we will have dinner together and then maybe we will just go for a long drive at night.
And after we come back we again sleep while cuddling. "
Teja smiled and then bent over a little to rub he nose with his.
" And what about the days when you go out on your tours ?" She asked.
" If you ask me , I would love it if you could accompany me, but ofcourse only if your work allows."
" By the way can you spare some time and come to watch the match next month. " He asked.
"I.. "Teja thought for a second.
" I would love to " she said. " I will just check how many leaves I can take and they we can plan. "
" Great. "
" Sayli will be there too right? "
" Yes , most probably. "
" Thank God." She mumbled. It felt better to have a friend with her were she would be surrounded by mostly strangers.
" Tejuu " Karan sang, " so do you want to watch the match as my fiance or wife." He asked.
"Fiance." Teja said instantly.
" And I did think about it, I mean the marriage, and if it's possible for you we can get married in March, before IPL begins." Teja said a bit shy.
Karan sat up immediately. "Are you serious? "
Teja nodded and blushed at the same time.
Karan hugged her the next second which made her loose balance and fall back on the bed.
" We should start the presentations soon then ."
"Yes , but only after we discuss it with our families and see if we have any good muhrat around that time ." Teja said with effort as Karan lay on her , even though he tried to put all his weight on his hands.
" And move first , you are heavy " Teja said pushing him.
" Sorry " Karan said and rolled over such that now Teja lay over him . This sudden movement made Teja shriek and then giggle .
Her hair fell over her face , which Karan lightly brushed away.
Teja stopped laughing as Karan's stares made her feel nervous and jittery.
A small smile then formed on both of their faces and the next second they kissed.
They were always gentle when they kissed. Never in a hurry, never harsh or rough, because they always kissed out of love.
* phone rings *
"No" Karan mumbled against Teja's lips.
" I will have to" Teja said as she moved back to take her phone.
" Yash ? " She said in confusion "Why is he calling so late ? "
"Hello" she said as she picked up the call.
"Police station ? But why ? "
...
" Okay.. okay..but which station are they taking you to ? "

"Okay I will be there soon , don't worry. "
"What happened ?" Karan asked worriedly.
" I don't know what mess he got himself into , but he is arrested and now I have to go and get him out of there." Teja said hurriedly and went to change her night clothes.
In a minute she came back, combed her hair, took her handbag and said to Karan," I will keep in touch, I have the spare keys with me so no need of waiting, you can sleep. "
"Are you mad ?
I'm coming with you . " He stated.
"It's okay, I can manage ."
" I know you can, but still I want to be there with you. Let's go."
Teja stopped him . " Karan, you can't risk being spotted at the police station. "
"I can ." Karan said with finality.

As they reached the police station, they saw Yash sitting on the floor in a corner, his face bruised.
" What did you do? " Teja mouthed angrily to Yash , but straight away went to the officer in charge , while Karan went to Yash.
" Sir I am here for Yash Agrawal. Can I know what the matter is , why did you arrest him." Teja asked.
" You are his ? "
" I'm his friend. "
" your friend thinks that he is a hero " The police man said. "And is that man with you" he said pointing at Karan.
Teja nodded.
" With who's permission did you go there , this is not your garden ." The policeman said strictly.
" And why are you wearing a mask ? Take it off. "
Karan slowly moved towards them and took off his mask , "sorry sir" he said.
The policeman squinted and then an expression of realisation came on his face as he recognised Karan. " Aree sir aap ?" He said and stood up.
He went ahead and shook his hands with Karan when an another girl entered the police station,
" Yash, Oh God , are you okay" she cried and ran towards Yash and hugged him .
Teja couldn't really recognise the girl as she hardly got to see her for a second but she got a felling that the girl is someone who she knew.
"It's not a lover's park" the policeman shouted.
His shout made Yash and the girl look at them.
"You ?" Teja said in disbelief.
" Teja ? Karan ?" The girl said equally shocked.
"Wait. You guys know each other ?" Yash asked.
