"We hardly know anything about her, isn't that right?"

"If this person means us no harm, then I believe that they should turn themselves into their people and face the consequences."

Peter scoffed as he shut off the television and groaned.

It had already been half a day since the news of the Kryptonian ship orbiting the Earth's atmosphere. The entire world almost immediately turned on the strange Supergirl who showed up to save people and wanted her gone. He knew they were all acting out of fear, but he was really starting to get worried for his sister.

"Come on, Kara, pick up," Peter begged as he kept trying to call her.

"You can hang up," Kara said, causing Peter to jump and spin to face her in the doorway of his bedroom. She had her Kryptonian outfit on still and had a sad smile on. "I'm here."

"Kara." Peter sighed in relief as he walked over and hugged her, and she more than gladly returned the gesture. He then backed up and looked over her outfit as this was his first experience with the suit. "Wow, nice suit."

"Oh, yeah, guess you never really saw it, huh?" Kara completely forgot her brother didn't see her new suit. Truth be told, she forgot she's been wearing it for the last few days. She then did a little spin to show off the suit to him. "How do I look?"

Peter looked it over and chuckled at how awesome it looked. "I wouldn't have chosen to go with a skirt."

"Yeah, I'm working on that." Kara had to agree the skirt was a bit odd and even tried to push it to the side like it would do anything.

"I saw it on the news, is it true?" Peter asks her.

"General Zod. Yeah, he was a resident of Krypton." Kara confirmed as she eyed the tv. "I'm gonna do it."

Peter was starting to worry. "Do what?"

"I'm gonna turn myself in," Kara explained as she started to tear up. "Zod will destroy the world if I don't, and I can't risk anything happening to you guys. I already caused so much pain."

"Pain?" Peter asked with a scoff. He couldn't believe how his sister saw herself in this family. "Kara, taking you it was the best decision any of us made."

"Peter, your father died because of me." Kara reminded him in sorrow.

"And I could have lost both of them if you didn't save them from that airplane." Peter reminded her with sadness. "Kara, I don't blame you for what happened. I never did. Maybe at first, but I was upset at the world, not you."

"Why?" Kara wonders.

"Because I know you did all you could to save them both," Peter stated as he pulled her closer. "Because I know you wouldn't let them get hurt if you could avoid it." Then he pulled her in for a hug. "And I know that's not what he would have wanted. Us to hate each other for what happened."

Kara couldn't help but smile as she embraced the hug, feeling like something had changed. He felt...stronger. But before she could ask him about that, her super hearing picked something up.

"You've got it all wrong, Fury. She's not the enemy." Mary stated.

"Oh no." Kara was startled to worry as she broke the hug.

"What?" Peter was worried about what she heard. "What is it?'

"It's mom," Kara explained before she quickly flew out the window.

She needed to get to Washington and help Mary as fast as she could before going to Zod. Peter however wasn't going to let this go and knew he needed to help somehow. He quickly raced and picked up his phone from the bed and called someone.

"Hey, it's me. I need a favor." Peter tells them.

------------------------

Meanwhile, outside of S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, Kara floated there in the middle of the air and her cape picked up the wind, watching as everyone swarmed around her.

Everyone aimed everything that they got at her, and yet she knew none of their weapons could even tickle her. None of them would find any sort of harm to her, but she also wouldn't risk hurting them as she did with Richard. Nick walked ahead of all of his men and women as he eyed the Kryptonian.

Kara wasn't even phased by the weapons as she eyed Nick Fury from the rest. "Nick Fury, I presume."

"Alright, you've got my attention," Fury stated as he showed no fear to her and no emotion. "What the hell is it you want?"

"I want to speak to Mary Parker," Kara demanded, wanting to make sure that she was at least safe.

"What makes you think she's here?" Fury asks her.

Kara loped down at him sternly, she wasn't in the mood for any kind of games. "Don't try and play games with me, Director Fury. I'll turn myself in, but I want to see Mary Parker first."

------------------------

Then she was led down the hall of their headquarters. A bunch of people were looking at her in confusion as all they saw was this little girl with handcuffs being led by a dozen armed men. Yet again, it could have been the strange outfit she was also wearing.

Kara was led into an interrogation room where she found Mary sitting at the table in shock when she saw Kara. She then sat down across from the table of her daughter as the soldiers left the room, waiting until they were alone.

Kara used her abilities, none of them aware they weren't dampened. "We're alone."

"What are you doing here?" Mary asks her daughter sternly, seemingly mad she was there.

"I'm surrendering to Zod." Kara shrugged.

Mary was shocked and scoffed when she heard that. "Why would you do that?"

Kara just shrugged again. "If I didn't, then you'd be arrested, and Zod will most likely destroy the planet." Kara recapped her reasoning.

Mary sighed and knew she was right, but wasn't okay with this. She'd forbid it if she had a say in anything right now. But she decided to lighten up as the two of them were in the same boat. She looked down at her hands and raised a brow.

"You let them handcuff you?" Mary was a little confused about that.

Kara hummed and gestured to the one-way mirror with her head. "It made them feel more secure."

"What's the S stand for?" Mary asks and looked at the suit.

"Well, on Krypton, it's the House of El. My House." Kara explains to her mother, seeing this was the first time they got to talk about the suit. "It means hope."

"Oh, I kinda figured it meant that it was to go with that nickname they gave you," Mary admitted with a laugh.

"You mean when the Daily Bugle called me Supergirl?" Kara asked with a scoff. "That's not going to catch on."

Then there was feedback coming from a microphone from the other room. "Excuse me, are we interrupting?"

Mary sighed and laid her head back. "Nick. Perfect timing."

"Listen, I don't know what you were hoping to accomplish, but you've got Mrs. Parker," Fury tells Kara. "Now, I-"

"Am preparing a syringe of sedative in the next room," Kara commented with a smile. "Not to worry, I see through the walls. Yet again, that could be a reason to worry. You won't need that sedative. Also, it won't even penetrate my skin."

"You can't exactly expect us to just take your word that you'll turn yourself in," Fury stated.

Kara sighed and stood up to then float a bit off the ground to be at eye level with Fury. "Let's just get me thing straight." She then stretched her arms and broke off the cuffs like it was nothing. That spooked the room of agents with Fury as she approached. "You're scared because you have no control over me. You don't. I've hidden in this world and tried my best to remain out of the way. But right now I'm your best hope to stop this enemy."

"Zod?" Fury took a guess.

"I'm afraid that he might not keep his word," Kara confirmed with a sigh and lowered down onto the ground. "And if he doesn't, you should prepare for the worst."

Back up in the Arctic, Rogue flew Peter into the area where they landed right outside the Fortress. He gave her a call and asked if she could take him somewhere he could get information on Zod to stop him from taking Kara. Then she watched as he started to shiver from the sudden cold.

"You couldn't get us any closer?" Peter asks her as he tries to warm up.

"Hey, I just carried you from North America to the Arctic, give me a minute of rest, will ya?" Rogue tells him with a scoff. "Let's go."

She then leads him into the fortress that then brought them into the main hall and towards the center. This was the first time that Peter was getting a look at the fortress, and he has to say that it was amazing.

"Whoa. So, this is where she's been staying." Peter had to admit it wasn't what he was expecting. "It's pretty nice."

Then the hologram of Kara's mother activated at the sudden appearance of people entering. "I'm glad you approve."

"Whoa!" Peter jumped at her sudden appearance. "Hello! Who are you?"

"My name is Alura. And not to worry, I know all about you, Peter Parker." Alura introduced herself with a smile. "I can't thank you enough for looking after my daughter."

Peter was shocked when he realized that he was talking to Kara's mother. "Uh, you're...you're welcome."

"Tell me, what can I do to help you?" Alura asks him.

"I need you to help me. Kara is about to surrender to Zod, and I need all the information that I can get to stop him." Peter asks of her. "I need to save Kara."

"And how in tarnation do you suppose you do that?" Rogue asks him in worry.

Peter smiled and knew what he was going to do. "Any chance you can make me a super suit?"

------------------------

Kara was transported out to a secluded area far from civilization just in case Zod tried something. Mary watched from a far distance because she couldn't be seen too close to Kara now. The ship entered the atmosphere and apprehend them all. Once it landed on the ground, Kara was met with one of Zod's followers, Faora-Ul. She looked up to the top of the ship and recognized another one of his followers, Nam-Ek.

"You have chosen to give yourself up." Faora-Ul had to admit that she was surprised. "Why?"

Kara didn't say much at first and took a deep breath, knowing there was no turning back now. "This world has suffered enough."

Faora-Ul then gestured towards the ship and Kara just started to make her way on board and Ul followed soon. The ship would soon close and Kara turned back to get her last look at her earth mother and let loose a small tear.

This was for the best.

------------------------

Inside the Fortress, Peter was getting a plan together while his suit was finally getting finished. Rogue was on the phone with a few friends at the Mansion to get them together for when she returned with Peter. Alura was informing Peter on the structure of the ship Zod was commanding.

"Okay, so, I've got Sophia, Emma, Carol, Kori, Vivian, Kurt, and Megan to meet us at the mansion," Rogue informed Peter who she managed to get.

"That should be good enough," Peter said as he watched his suit be made.

"How's it going with your suit?" Rogue asked as she looked down at the costume.

His suit follows a blue and red color scheme. The body, head, outer arms, upper hip, and knee-high boots are red while the inner arms, upper legs, and outer torso are matt blue. The colors are in a bright tone, especially red coloring. The eye lenses are black on the outline and white in the middle. They are also wide.

The spider insignia is small, fist-sized, and centered just above the chest. At the back, there is another spider insignia but instead of black, it's red and big. The boots are also slightly below the knee, with black outlining covering them and the feet. The black outlining in particular resembles a spider's web, especially on the mask area and the torso. These outlines split the suit into rectangle segments, which are especially visible on the torso area, neck, and shoulders.

"What do you think?" Peter asks.

"It's...definitely you." Rogue wasn't sure how to take the suit.

Peter however was proud of it and knew it was time for action as he took the crystal that controlled Alura just in case she was needed. It was time to take this fight to take down Zod.

"Let's go get Kara."
