WE EAGERLY GOT off the bus, one by one, as a warm beam of sunlight washed over us.
It was a beautiful day, clear skies and a pleasant breeze.
Just then, my eyes landed on a figure standing beside Mr.Aizawa. I could hardly contain my excitement as I recognized the person, It was the Pro Hero - Thirteen!
The sight was already enough to make my heart race with anticipation, and I couldn't help but feel a sudden jolt of awe and admiration at having a pro hero standing before me.
Her astronaut like-hero suit and stature were both impressive, adding to the sense of awe and respect that the students suddenly felt.
Some of them whispered amongst themselves, while others simply stood in silence, probably taken back by her presence.
"Hello, everyone!" she said waving at us, "I've been waiting for you!"
"It's the space hero, Thirteen!" Midoriya said, "the chivalrous pro that rescued countless of lives!" His eyes were wide with awe as he spoke, his admiration for the pro hero clear as day.
Uraraka's cheerful voice caught my attention as she was practically vibrating with excitement.
Her voice was filled with genuine admiration as she spoke beside me."Thirteen is one of my favorites heroes!"
"I can't wait to show you all what's inside" Thirteen exclaimed, her voice filled with enthusiasm. She half-turned to gesture at the massive door behind her.
This is so cool
We walked into the dome and we were immediately struck by the diverse landscape before us. Trees, lakes, and even rock mountains filled the area, creating a breathtaking natural setting.
"Woah, it looks like some kind of amusement park in here!" Kirishima said, his voice filled with a sort of wonder
"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, and more!" Thirteen said, "I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters"
"I call it, the Unforeseen Stimulation Joint. But you can just call it the USJ!"
Just like the Universal Studios Japan...
"Hey, shouldn't All Might be here already?" Mr Aizawa asked Thirteen, "Let me guess, he booked an interview instead."
"Actually, it's something else." Thirteen replied, "Apparently, he did too much hero work on the way to school this morning and used up all his power. He's resting in the teachers lounge."
There was a moment of silence until it was broken by Mr. Aizawa.
"The clock is ticking," he said turning to face us, "We should get started."
"Amazing, before we begin, let me say one thing" Thirteen said, "well, maybe two things, or three....four...five."
'We get it!'
Thirteen, standing in front of us, began her explanation with a serious tone.
"Each of your quirks has the potential to be incredibly powerful, but I want to emphasize that they can also be dangerous if used incorrectly or irresponsibly." Her voice was firm but understanding, as if she wanted to make sure that we truly grasped the importance of what she was about to say.
She went on to give specific examples, the potential risks and hazards that our quirks could pose if not handled with the utmost care and responsibility.
Thirteen finished her explanation with a dramatic bow, "That's all I have to say."
We all began to cheer and clap loudly. Our laughter and applause echoed through the massive dome, filling the air with a sense of excitement and eagerness.
This was the moment we had been waiting for, the moment we would start our training and take one step closer to becoming heroes.
"Right," Aizawa spoke, breaking everyones chatter and cheers as we turned to look at him, "Now that that's over"
Aizawa then pointed to his left, drawing our attention towards whatever he was pointing at.
Suddenly, the light in the dome was dimmed down, and we watched as the fountain in the center of the dome started turning off and on.
It was as if the scene was straight out of a horror movie.
Just then, we watched as a purple vortex appeared out of nowhere right in front of the fountain.
"What the.." I mumbled to myself
The atmosphere in the training area had grown tense, as we could feel the ominous energy emanating from the vortex growing stronger by the second.
That was when a skinny man with light blue hair and a weird hand covering his face and even on his body walked out of the vortex along with an army of unnaturally-like figures.
Wait
That's the same guy from yesterday..
"Has the training already begun?" Kirishima asked trying to get a better look at the group of people walking out of the portal
"Stay back!" Mr.Aizawa yelled, I quickly turned my head to look at him and watched as he put on his signature goggles.
"This is real." Aizawa spoke, "Those are villains."
Our initial excitement quickly turned to shock and disbelief. This couldn't be real, right? The rescue training we had been expecting had been replaced by an unexpected invasion. How did these villains know we would be here?
Kirishima's voice broke through the tense silence. "What? Real villains, no way," he said, "How could so many of them get into the U.A facility this secure?"
Yaoyorozu strode over to stand beside Midoriya and Iida, her voice filled with questions.
"Yeah, Thirteen," she asked urgently, "Why aren't the alarms going off?"
"Good question," Thirteen responded, their voice betraying a hint of uncertainty. "I'm not entirely sure myself."
"Is the entire campus under attack? Or is this there only target." Todoroki asked, I turned to look at him, and our eyes briefly met before he shifted his focus back to the unfolding crisis.
"Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered," he said, calm as ever, "then one of these villains must have a Quirk that's masking their presence here."
A quirk that lets someone mask their presence?!
"They're fools for trespassing here," he said, "but they've thought this out. Whatever their plan is, they must have a concrete objective in mind. But what is it?"
I could feel a sweat starting to form on my forehead. These were real villains who were capable of causing real harm, who knows what they could do to us and how long it'll take before reinforcements finds us.
Mr. Aizawa's voice cut through the tension as he shouted at Thirteen. "Thirteen, get them out of here," he ordered firmly.
"Kaminari, try using your quirk to contact the school. If they blocked our sensors, then they must have blocked our regular communications as well."
"Yes sir" Kaminari replied quickly
"What are you gonna do? You can't fight them on your own!" Midoriya exclaimed, his eyes filled with distress.
"Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. That's not gonna help with a big group." his concern evident as he waited for Aizawa's response.
"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick." Aizawa said, cool and determined as ever, "I'll leave it to you Thirteen."
Without wasting a beat, Thirteen nodded and prepared to take charge of the evacuation, gesturing for us to follow.
We moved quickly, following Thirteen towards the exit, each step filled with urgency.
However, just as we thought we could escape, the same purple vortex appeared on the ground right in front of us, blocking our path to safety.
Give us a break man!
We all stopped in our tracks as a purple, shadowy figure standing before us began to speak, its portal-like body swirling ominously and its yellow glowing eyes locked onto us. Its voice was deep and chilling.
"It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the League of Villains."
The league of what now!?
"I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All might, The Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?"
What...?
"I believe he was supposed to be here today but I guess in the end, it doesn't matte-"
Just then Bakugo and Kirishima charged towards the shadowy figure cutting it off. A large explosion went off and filled the air with a thick smoke causing me to shut my eyes from the forceful impact.
My heart raced faster as I hesitantly lifted my gaze once again, my eyes slowly opening and searching the area for any sign of Bakugo and Kirishima.
My mind was a whirlwind of anxiety and worry, hoping that they were both okay. I blinked the last bits of smoke from my vision, and to my relief, I saw that both Bakugo and Kirishima were indeed alright, unscathed and standing uninjured in the smoky air. I couldn't see the shadowy figure anywhere though.
That was until I heard the same deep and chilling voice speak again
"You live up to your school's reputation. But you should be more careful, children. Otherwise, someone might get hurt."
"You two! Get out of the way right now!"
Thirteen's shouted
The sudden command filled me with a sense of unease and urgency, as I could sense the gravity of the situation. I turned to look at my classmates, only to see that both Bakugo and Kirishima had frozen mid-step, turning their attention to Thirteen as they processed the pro hero's words.
"I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades, and your deaths!" It said
In an instant, we found ourselves enveloped by a thick, purple smoke that stung our eyes and made it difficult to see. It filled the air, blocking everything in a hazy, disorienting veil.
That was when I felt myself falling through the air, my heart racing as I continued to fall. I yelled as I got closer to the ground still not understanding how I even got here.
Thinking quickly, I instinctively tried to use both sides of my quirk in a desperate attempt to slow down the fall. I stretched my hands infront of me and focused
'Slow the fall, slow the fall y/n!'
With a sense of relief, I felt myself gradually slow down until I finally landed safely on my feet.
I took a moment to steady myself, my heart still racing from the adrenaline-fueled fall.
"Now, where the hell am I?" I said my thoughts aloud, looking around to figure out my surroundings.
As I looked around, I was met with a scene of chaos and destruction. Everywhere I turned, buildings and trees were engulfed in flames.
"How am I supposed to get back now?" I said clearly frustrated being separated from my classmates
I walked forward, stepping carefully not to go near the fire as I looked around in hopes of finding a way out of the hellscape I had found myself in.
As I cautiously continued on my path, I caught a glimpse of something in the distance - a large ice formation rising above the surrounding buildings, its sharp edges glistening in the sunlight.
I squinted, trying to make out what it was, when it suddenly clicked in my mind; it was Todoroki's ice!
I sprinted towards the area where the ice formation stood, my heart racing with a mixture of relief and concern. I was hoping beyond hope that Todoroki would be unharmed and that I would find him safe.
The sight of the ice, tall and imposing, filled me with a sense of both unease and relief.
As I rounded the corner, I couldn't help but call out, my voice slightly shaky.
"Todoroki! Are you alright?!"
