When we pull up to the town it was a complete mess. The houses were destroyed and the road was barely visible anymore.
We both got out and helped the people look for things they needed.
"You were right back there. It's a good thing we came to help. " Javi says
"I wish we could do more. Javi, can the data from the par radar shows how the tornado died?" I ask
"Yeah why?" He asks me
"I don't know. Maybe we could use it to prevent all this." I tell him
"There's the oak I know" he smiles
"Hey look um here take the truck alright. I'll go deal with locating the radar. You should rest." He tells me giving me the keys
"Ok" I nod
I look over to see Tyler trying to find a dog. Then I see their shirts and mugs set up by their van. I look down and shake my head, how could they do that. Sell shirts when a disaster just happened.
"Nice play on the left twin" Tyler says walking towards me
"Yeah well, it didn't help these people any" I sigh
I look over to the Riggs talking to one of the people from the town, and handing him a card.
"You know storm par is in the business of helping." Tyler says
"Well from what I see they're trying to make a difference." I tell him
"That's one way of putting it." He says
"What?" I ask
"Do you even know who you're chasing for?" He asks me
"What are you talking about-" I ask but he cuts me off
"How much more do these people gotta lose before yall done making business." He says walking over to me mad
"I'm sorry says the guy who's setting up shops selling t-shirts and mugs after a storms hit." I tell him mad but he just looks down and laughs
"Tyler do you have a minute to answer some questions?" Ben asks walking up
"I got a dog to find. Talk to Oakland she seems to have all the answers." Tyler says walking off
"Now's not a good time Ben." I tell him then walk off to the truck
I was about to open the door when someone calls out.
"Oak! Hey here take some food" Lily says running up to me
"Oh don't have any cash" I shake my head
"Nah it's free that's why we're always selling those t-shirts" she shrugs.
I look over at their set up to see they were handing things out for free to help.
"Oh well save it. In case you run low." I tell her
"Ok well at least take some water" she says giving it to me.
"Thanks" I nod
"Yep see ya" she says then runs back
I get in the car before looking in the mirror at Tyler.
"Damn it why do I have to be so stupid" I sigh closing my eyes

I sat on my bed with my computer. I start to look up Marshall Riggs on the internet, only to find out he buys land. He would come in when people were at their lowest to get land for cheap.
My thoughts were cut off when someone knocked on my door. I close my computer then get up to answer it. Only to see tornado wrangler Tyler.
We stare at each other for a second not saying anything.
"Uh some of javis crew said you were sitting out of the rodeo. Thought you might be hungry" he tells me so I reach out my hand and he gives me the pizza. Then I close the door and go sit on my bed again.
I open it up then look back at the door. So I get up and go open it again. And sure enough he was still there.
"You find the dog?" I ask him
"Course I found the dog. How you doin after all that?" He asks me
"Eh doesn't matter. Lose people in there" I tell him
"Yeah well you've seen the worst of this place. Thought it be nice for you to see something good. I wanna take you somewhere. Think it might help. Come on." He tells me and I give in. What's the worse that can happen right?
We ended up taking me to the rodeo. As I watched it reminded me of old times.
"You ever seen anything like this city girl?" Tyler asks me
"You keep calling me that. You know I grew up on a farm. Yeah the sapopa, couple hours from here. This ain't my first rodeo" I tell him
"Look at that, I learned something bout you" Tyler smiles
"So tell me this, what was your first tornado?" He asks me
"Tell me yours" I say
"I was eight, riding with my aunt. Sirens are going. All the sudden this vortex just lowers right down in the center of the road. I was just mesmerized. I looked at my aunt and she had this look on her face, i realized in that moment i was supposed to be scared." He explains
"Were you scared?" I ask him
"Yeah. Yeah I was." he nods
"Wow the tornado wrangler is scared of tornados" I say
"Ok sapopa" he smiles
Then I look down and see one of the riders twist his fingers then point at Tyler, Tyler doing the same.
"You know him?" I ask confused
"I used to compete. Got stomped on by one to many bulls, thought college might be better for my brain." He tells me
"You're scared of tornadoes but not riding bulls?" I ask
"Tornadoes bulls, same thing. That's the reason you do it, you don't face your fears, you ride em" he tells me and I just stare at me
"Well that should be on billboard. Tornadoe wranglers new motto" I laugh
"Yeah yeah" he laughs as we turn are focus back on the rodeo
We clap for the rider when a big wind blows through. It blows leafs everywhere, I pick one up and that's when we saw the lighting and thunder.
"Are you tracking cells out this late?" I ask him
He doesn't answer and I just look at the dust getting blown some
"Air feels heavy. This isn't good." I tell him
Then everyone's phone starts to go off, it was a tornado warning. Then the sirens go off. The guy on the microphone starts to tell everyone to evacuate. So the crowd takes off running.
