INTRODUCTION
I personally never believed in love. I mean come on, can something like that exist in such a cruel world? But oddly enough the universe has made it it's mission to prove me wrong.
And guess what? Challenge accepted!
[Chapter one: In denial.]
"Hello everyone, my name is Katherine! It's a pleasure to meet you all." I managed to mumble out, trying to avoid making eye contact with the class.
The teacher sighs, tired already. "Ah, Katherine, please sit down next to Yuna." I turn to look at her, she was leaning on her desk, clearly displeased with my lack of confidence.
She was looking at a certain student. I slowly look over to where her gaze landed. My eyes soon met hers, she smiled at me.
"I'm right here~!" she yelled, waving excitedly.
"Keep it down, miss Yuna." the teacher stated as giggles were heard.
"Hmph..." she pouted in response. "Boring..." she muttered, crossing her arms.
"Mind repeating that, miss Yuna?" the teacher phrased, expecting a moment of silence.
"You're class is boring! It's not at all fun, this class is filled with wannabe mary sue characters." Yuna snapped back.
She struck a nerve, to say the least. "That's it! Detention young lady, go!" the teacher yelled, her voice echoes through the hallway as she pointed at Yuna in anger.
"Then fine, you clearly do not take criticism well." Yuna spoke, grabbing her bag and immediately leaving.
The teacher sighed. "Oh for fuck's sake that girl needs to stop getting on my nerves..." she muttered, struggling to compose herself.
"Class is dismissed."she blurted out.
A student slowly raised their hand. ma'am it's only been-"
"Listen kid, I don't have the energy to deal with you. Do you want an excuse to skip class or what?" the teacher remarked.
The student goes quiet. The rest of the class look at them.
"I'm sorry..." they said timidly, the class looks amused.
Blush slowly invaded their cheeks as they hear people laugh and whisper, the teacher's expression softening.
That student happens to be Evan, the shy cutie. Countless girls have fallen for him, yet he's blissfully aware of them, due to the fact he often never stays long enough to hear what they have to say. Reminds me of a bunny.
Evan slowly got up, sprinting towards the exit. "There he goes!" the teacher laughed.
The rest of the class was leaving, most of them had already packed their bags. As I did the same, I hear the teacher call my name.
"Katherine!" she exclaimed.
"Y-yes ma'am?" I approach her.
Her gaze softened. "Charlie is going to be the one to give you a tour." she stated, gesturing to the girl next to her.
Charlie introduces herself. "Hello! I'm Charlotte Grace, but you can call me Charlie!"
I nod. "I'm Katherine Williams." I look her up and down as she does the same.
I hear her gasp. "You like listening to blackpink??" she asks, excitement in her eyes.
I blush. "Y-yeah...!" I pause. "Do you?"
She nods. "Totally! We should totally hang out or something!!" she looks at me expectantly.
"Sure!" I replied, chuckling nervously. Why is she looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?
CHARLOTTE'S PERSPECTIVE
"She's so pretty..." I think to myself. "Focus Charlotte, focus...!" I shoke my head, trying to focus on giving this girl in a tour.
"Are you alright?" she questioned, concerned as hell.
"Jeez you screwed up already Charlie!" I think to myself again. I look like an idiot.
I compose myself. "Mhm, don't worry about me~" I tease, calming down.
I quickly grab her hand. "Let's gooo!!" I exclaimed, trying to seem carefree. In the corner of my eye I see Evan watching us.
What was his deal?
EVAN'S PERSPECTIVE
It's unfair. Why do I feel this way? Why is it so easy for everyone else?
All I do is embarrass myself. All I can do is just watch as other students socialize so effortlessly.
Loneliness, it's a big issue in my life. I know I shouldn't be moping already in an ocean of self-pity but what else can I do?
I sigh before my thoughts slowly get interrupted by the feeling of someone sitting beside me.
"Hey cutie, what's up?" a feminine voice asked, I look over my shoulder.
"Yuna what are you doing? You're supposed to be in-" she quickly cuts me off. "Detention? I know... I don't like it there, I would rather skip."she looks up at the ceiling and sighs.
My instincts kick in, I'm ready to run if she says something out of line.
"You're Evan, right? I'm Yuna." she mutters, before putting her head on my shoulder.
"I'm aware of that..." I reply, you know for someone like her, I feel oddly calm around her.
She chuckles. "Ah, I guess that makes sense." she pauses. "Are you scared of love, Eevee?"
"Seriously? Eevee?" I attempt to sound offended, but in reality I don't mind.
"Answer the question, silly!" she playfully said.
I sigh. "Maybe... I'm not sure, it's... Something I like to avoid thinking of. It does scare me in a way, y'know?" I admit.
Her playful tone is replaced with a gentle one. "Hm... I'm willing to wait as long as you need me to, Eevee."
I gasp. "What?" I asked, half of me hoping I heard her right.
"I love you, I always have..." she stops for a moment, smiling. "but if you need me to wait, then I'll wait here patiently for you."
Woah this is too fast for me!!! I'm gonna look like a tomato!
YUNA'S PERSPECTIVE
"Eevee~" I call out with a sing-song tone of voice. "You're looking like a tomato!" I tease.
He looks so adorable!! I love this boy to absolute bits.
"Oh, my apologies Yuna, I need to go!" he says before running away.
Disappointment, all I felt was disappointment as I watched him run.
I sigh, getting up and looking at the ground. This is so embarrassing.
I hate it. Why can't I be loved back? Maybe it's time to-
"I'll think about it Yuna!" Evan says, my eyes light up. He was going to think about it? I had a chance?
I feel my cheeks burning up, jeez who knew such a shy boy would have such an affect on me?
Get yourself together Yuna! You aren't going to win him over by acting like a flustered fool!
"I will win him over!" I think to myself. By the time I calm down Evan is gone, but I have a feeling I'll be seeing him soon.
CHARLOTTE'S PERSPECTIVE
"I stan Lisa too! She's soo pretty." I cooed.
"I love her too, she was the first ever idol I idolized." she replies, her smile is sooo cute!
I pause. "Wait do you watch Ranking of kings?" I questioned.
"Wait how'd you know?" she asked in surprise.
I point at her Bojji keychain. "That! It's super cute, where'd you get it?" I tilt my head.
"I actually got it from my cousin." she answered.
"That's so cool, do you have another keychains?" I asked.
Her face lights up, she immediately grabbed a small see-through bag. It was filled with keychains.
She hands me a Kage keychain. "Now we can match!" she excitedly stated.
"Thanks Kath!" I happily accepted the keychain.
To my surprised she wrapped her arms around me!
"Woah-" I exclaim as we both fell on the grass. We both burst out laughing.
"Sorry I got too excited I guess~" she chuckles, I slowly calm down.
She's so... Gorgeous. Her beauty was out of this world.
"I... I don't mind!" I reassure her. She seemed to be zoned out though.
"... Hello? Katherine~?" I asked, she still hasn't snapped out of it yet.
KATHERINE'S PERSPECTIVE
How could a girl so kind exist in such a corrupted world? How is she so perfect?
I'm not sure, but right now I just want to keep her close to me. I wrap my arms around her.
She's so cute when she's flustered.
Am I falling in love with her? Maybe. I'm not going to say it aloud though. There's no way I'm letting the universe win.
Wait what am I doing? "I'm sorry...!" I mumble, pulling away. Her face was all red.
She looks up at me. "D-don't worry about it!!!" she's so obvious.
"You're adorable!" I pinch her cheek. She pouts.
"You act like my grandma..." she mutters.
I try acting offended. "I am not that old!" I replied back, teasingly.
I then stop and look at the sky. "What do you think of love?" I ask, looking at her.
"I... I think it's a beautiful thing, but... I'm not sure if it's as popular as before. Y'know..." she hesitates. "In this generation, hook-ups are more common than actual relationships..."
I hum in agreement before chuckling. "Who's talking like an old person now?" I tease her.
She scoffs. "Hahe very funny..." she says sarcastically.
"Hm... But I actually don't mind proving you wrong, y'know?" I suggest.
She looks confused. "What?" I gently grab her hand and kiss it.
She gets flustered but doesn't pull back. "You want the old fashioned love, right? I could be your darling~" I can't help but love the sight of realization hitting her.
"I... I'm not sure, I'll have to... Think about it first." she states.
"I understand, Charlie. I don't want to rush either..." I mumble looking up at the sky. The sunset is so pretty.

And that is the end of chapter one
Sorry for the rushed ships! I'm not that good at writing. I'll try making making chapter two as soon as I can! I hope you didn't find Evan's character too cringy.
