"I WAS ENCHANTED TO MEET YOU."
ANDIE, NED, GWEN STACY, AND NED SAT on the couch while Ned's Lola gave them dinner as they watched the News. Horrified expressions were on their faces, Andie leaned forward paying the utmost attention to the TV.
J. Jonah Jameson showed the damaged condo. "Tragedy. What else can I call it? What more need be said? The damage, the destruction, you saw it with your own eyes. When will people wake up, and realize that everywhere Spider — Man goes chaos and calamity ensue, Everything Spider — Man touches comes to ruin. And we, the innocents, are left to pick up the pieces." he went on.
Andie angrily breathed deeply, "Holy, mother — fucker bitch! I fucking hate him. He's despicable." she spat with a scoff.
The reporter nodded his head once for dramatic affect, "J. Jonah Jameson, reporting. Goodnight, and god help us all." Ned sighed and changed the channel on to another news channel.
The other reporter was covering the same topic. "— And we can confirm at least one person has been killed." the whole group let out a gasp in unison as the news station showed a photo of May Parker's deceased body next to a current picture of her.
Holy shit. What the fuck? What the fuck! May died? They all just wish they could talk to Peter, especially Andie.
Gwen's eyes widened, with the rest of the group. "Holy shit. M — May died?" she stammered.
Andie's eyes were filled with worry. "Has Peter texted you?" she looked at her multiple text messages she had sent to Peter in the last few hours, than she looked to Ned. Ned shook his head without a word, "I'm gonna press it." she sucked in through her teeth decidedly.
Ned's eyes widened, "What? No!" he immediately fought.
She gave him a quick death stare, "Peter told me to wait, but I have a bad feeling. I'm gonna do it." Andie sighed, shaking her head.
The group was quiet for a moment. "I agree with Ned, actually. We don't know what Peter wants, y'know? He could be really angry with us if we press it." Gwen shrugged.
MJ's eyebrows furrowed as she turned to look at her girlfriend. "Are you serious? I agree with Andie. May died! That could've been fucking Peter." crap. The fight had started. They all saw it coming. With big decisions, big fights usually followed.
"Apparently. Said J. Jonah Jameson, who is literally constantly trying to convince the world that Peter's a villain." Gwen argued.
MJ scoffed loudly, "It wasn't J. Jonah Jameson!" she chuckled angrily.
Andie sighed, "'Kay, guys this isn't fixing anything. Stop fighting." she reluctantly shrugged, usually she would be all for watching a fight happen. It just wasn't the time.
Ned looked at Dr. Strange's ring, "I just wish that we could see him." he shrugged, primarily using his wrist, creating orange sparkles in the air.
MJ made eye contact with Gwen, "Ned?" she mumbled.
Neds jaw dropped when he saw the sparkles, "Yeah?" he answered, not taking his eyes off of where the sparkles had appeared then quickly left.
The brown haired girl mumbled, "Do that again." demanded MJ.
Ned nodded, "Yeah, uh — huh. I just wish we could see him, okay, I just wish we could see Peter." he repeated as he swung his arm in a circle, creating a portal. Yes! Spider — mans costumes stood at the other side. "You're right. I am magic." he looked at his hands in shock.
Andie was speechless and honestly very impressed with Ned, "Is that him?" Gwen Stacy asked what the whole group was thinking.
Ned shrugged, "It has to be." a smile grew on his face. Yay!
Andie did mental fist — pump in the air. "Peter! Peter!" she yelled, calling her boyfriend. She couldn't help a smile from forming on her face.
The whole group started screaming Peter's name into the abyss. "Why isn't he coming over here?" Gwen asked.
MJ had furrowed eyebrows, "Maybe he can't hear us?" she responded, then continued to yell his name.
The Spider — man must've heard it this time, as he finally jumped through the portal. Ned's Lola screamed. "Hi, hi!" Lola threw a pillow at the Spider — man which hit in directly in the chest, "No, no, no. It's okay, it's okay. I'm a nice guy." he protested as Lola scurried away. He took off his mask.
Huh?
That was not Peter Parker.
At least it wasn't their Peter Parker.
Andie's face furrowed, "Who the fuck are you?" she asked through gritted teeth, her smile immediately faded. That wasn't her boyfriend. However, he was hot. Very hot.
The Spider — man shrugged, "I'm Peter Parker." he responded simply.
Andie rolled her eyes, these fans were getting too insane. Impersonating a teenager when you're clearly not, is whack. "That's not possible." she shook her head.
The guy who was apparently called Peter panted, "I am Spider — Man . . . in my world. But then, yesterday, I was — I was just here." he shrugged, looking around. He backed himself into the corner near the fridge, "String theory, multidimensional reality, and matter displacement. All real?" he counted off his fingers.
Andie and Gwen directed their attention to MJ and Ned, as they were . . . smarter. They didn't know what those meant. "Yeah." they answered at the same time.
The 'Peter' pumped his fists in the air, "Knew it!" he chuckled.
The teenagers went into a sidebar, "This has to be because of the spell." whispered Ned.
Andie rolled her eyes, "No shit." she squinted at him.
'Peter' must've heard this. Which made sense, not really, because that meant that either Ned was whispering really loud, or that this dude had super hearing. That meant . . . No. It had to be impossible. But, honestly, in this world. Anything was possible. "The spell? Like magic spell?" he gasped. That reaction made sense.
Gwen quickly responded, "There's no spell." she shook her head.
MJ shook her head as well, "No spell, nope." her lips thinned.
'Peter' gasped. "Magic's real here, too?" his eyes widened in shock.
Ned shrugged, "I mean —" he started but was quickly shut off by Andie.
Andie scoffed loudly, "Shut up, Ned! No, it's not real." she lied. "Shut the fuck up, Ned. What are you doing?" she scolded through gritted teeth, whispering.
The teenage boys eyes widened, for some reason he didn't understand why exactly he had to lie about magic. "I mean there's magicians and stuff, but there's no like —" he got cut off again.
Andie's jaw dropped at the idiocy. "Stop it. Stop!?" she whisper — yelled. "Prove it." she nodded to the guy in the Spider suit.
'Peter' awkwardly shrugged, "Prove what?" he asked.
Andie rolled her eyes, "That you're Peter Parker. Obviously." she sighed.
'Peter' sucked in air through his teeth, "I don't carry an ID with me, it kinda defeats the whole hidden identity superhero thing." he explained with a shrug. MJ quickly threw a piece of bread at the 'Peter' as all of the teenagers held their hands up in a fight ready pose. "Why'd you do that?" he slowly asked.
MJ made a 'tsk' noise, "I was trying to see if you had the tingle thing." she answered.
A small smile appeared on Peter's face. "I have the tingle thing, just not for bread." his eyes squinted with his explanation. This time, Gwen picked up a bread roll. "Can you not throw the bread again? You guys are deeply mistrusting, and I respect it." he lightly hopped toward the ceiling and sticked to it with his hand.
Holy. That meant that it was possible, this guy was actually a Peter Parker. Andie believed him, it would be near impossible to fake it. MJ, however, did not believe him. "Crawl around." she flung her hand around the ceiling area.
The Peter's eyebrows furrowed. "Crawl around?" he chuckled.
Gwen defended her girlfriend, "Yeah, crawl." she demanded.
Peter's lips thinned, "No." he whispered, shaking his head.
Andie looked at him with a weird feeling. This was her boyfriend, technically. They had the same name and they were both Spider — man, but they looked different and were technically different people. She was attracted to him, he was gorgeous, but it made Andie guilty. But at the same time, it also made her feel weird for not being attracted to him. "Yeah, I think you gotta crawl around." she nodded with Ned.
A sigh left 'Peters' lips, "W — Why do I need to crawl around?" he asked.
MJ shook her head, "It's not enough." she argued.
"This is plenty." he argued back.
MJ scoffed, "No, it's not!" she yelled through gritted teeth.
'Peters' head tilted, "Yes, it is."
"No. It's not." Gwen added.
"It is." 'Peter' continued to fight.
Andie shook her head. "It's not, though."
"No, it's not." Ned agreed.
'Peter' shrugged and furrowed his eyebrows, getting slightly frustrated. "How do I stick to the ceiling?" it still wasn't enough. Not even the group knew how he was doing it, but they didn't care.
This time around, Andie grabbed a bread roll and threw it at him. "Do it, dude." she demanded. "That's really fun." she whispered to MJ and Gwen with a laugh.
Andie grabbed another piece of bread, preparing to throw it at this guy again. The guy in the Spider — suit shook his head. Ned's grandmother said something to him in Filipino, "Excuse me, sir. Lola is asking if you can just get the cobweb, since you're, like, up there?" he pointed tot he cobweb in the corner.
'Peter' looked at the cobweb and sighed. "Yeah." he placed his mask in his mouth and crawled on the ceiling toward to dust the cobweb away.
Ned's grandma thanked the guy and dropped to the ground. 'Peter' dropped to the ground and dusted his body off. "We good?" he took the mask out of his mouth.
The whole room seemed to look at Andie. She squinted her eyes at the guy who might've actually been another Peter Parker. "For now." she answered through gritted teeth, trying to threaten him.
Peter threw his hands in the air and looked back at the portal, which promptly closed. "So, I opened the wrong portal to the wrong Peter Parker?" Ned asked, watching the portal as it closed.
MJ nodded, "Yeah, I guess you just keep doing it until you find the real one." she shrugged.
Peter held his heart as if he was offended. "Ouch." Andie looked to Gwen and MJ and awkwardly frowned.
The three teenage girls giggled, "No offence." apologized MJ.
Ned held his hands in front of him and begin to repeat the thing he did earlier to make the portal. "Okay, whew. Find Peter Parker." he swirled his hand around in a circle as he had seen Dr. Strange do on Youtube videos.
Peter watched, "What's the thing on his hand?" he asked with a tilt of the head, he quickly got shushed by MJ, Gwen, and Andie all at once.
Ned continued to focus, ignoring Peter. "Find Peter Parker. Find Peter Parker!" he did it! He made another portal, this time it summoned behind his body, showing a rooftop overlooking the Empire State building as another dude, who was not their Peter Parker, walked through the portal. "Great. So, it's just some random guy?" he scoffed in annoyance.
This other dude was a bit older, attractive, but less attractive than the other Peter that came through the portal. Although, the Peter that came through the portal was exceptionally good looking. Model like. A truly gorgeous man. "Hello! Um, I hope it's okay I just came through this — oh, it just closed." the new guy said as he looked back to the closing orange sparkles.
Andie rolled her eyes. This was getting irritating. "Let me guess. You're Peter?" she allowed a long sigh to leave her lips.
The new guy nodded, "Yeah. Peter Parker? I — I've seen you two." he awkwardly responded. He looked to Ned's grandma, who shyly waved at him, he waved back. "Wait, he's — he's not your friend. . ." the two Peter Parker's stared at each other for a tense moment before Peter ( Andrew ) shot a web, Peter ( Tobey ) did the same and they both flip over it with Peter ( Andrew ) landing on the table. The new Peter ( Tobey ) shot another web towards his variant and covered his web shooter. The two nodded at each other.
Ned sighed in aspiration. "Wait, so you're Spider — man, too? Why didn't you just say that?" he groaned.
The new Peter ( Tobey ) shrugged. "Uh, I don't go around generally advertising it. It kinda defeats the whole 'anonymous superhero' thing." he explained with a polite smile.
The other Peter ( Andrew ) gasped, "That's what I just said."
MJ spoke at the same time as the first Peter who arrived, "That's what he just said." Andie let out a loud laugh.
When Andie let out the random chortle, the whole room looked at her. She awkwardly looked at her feet, "That's what he said." she smiled ashamedly. "Y'know, like the joke?" she over — explained awkwardly, thank god for Gwen, as Gwen was the only person who pretended to laugh.
Ned changed the subject, Andie thanked him mentally. "My Lola's asking if you could clean up the webs that you just shot." he pointed to the discarded webs. Both Peter's apologized and started cleaning up the webs. Ned's grandma then announced she was going to bed, everyone politely and awkwardly said 'goodnight'.
The new Peter ( Tobey ) itched the crook in his neck awkwardly, "This might seem kind of weird, but i've been trying to find your friend ever since I got here. I just had this sense that — that he needs my help." he explained with a shrug and a frown as if he felt bad for their Peter.
"Our help." the other Peter interrupted. ( Andrew )
Andie frowned. All she wanted was to give Peter a hug and a kiss. Her Peter. "He does but we don't really know where he is. And — um, honestly, we're sorta all he has left." she didn't want to totally spew Peter's life story to these strangers.
Peter ( Tobey ) listened intently, nodding along. "Well, is there some place that he might go that has meaning to him? Like a — a place where he would go to just —" he tried to find appropriate words.
The other Peter interrupted, "Get away from everything?" he answered.
The group of teenagers thought. "For me, it was the top of the Chrysler Building." Peter ( Tobey ) nodded.
Andie knew where he was. They could go there if these fucking Peter's quit their yapping. "Empire State, better view." Peter ( Andrew ) added to the conversation.
Shut up! It doesn't matter! Right now, their Peter, Andie's Peter was the focus — not what building these dudes sit on. "That is a sweet view." Peter ( Tobey ) agreed.
Andie rolled her eyes, "Oh my god, shut up!" she snapped, the whole stopped and turned to her. "Sorry. I just think I know where he is and you guys just wouldn't stop talking."
