Brielle Mae stares down at her daughter with a small smile playing on her lips. Maisie is asleep but that didn't stop Brielle from admiring her daughter. She's growing up so fast Brielle thought as she leaned down to kiss her forehead softly.
Feeling her phone vibrate beside her, Brielle turns her attention away from her daughter and answers the phone. "Hello" Brielle presses the phone to her ear and stands up from the bed, putting pillows around Maisie.
"Hey baby" Killian's voice instantly brings a smile to her face as she walks into the bathroom. "What you doing?" He asks her.
"Just put baby girl to sleep. I'm about to start cleaning." She replies and looks at herself in the mirror. "I miss you." She pouts before switching the call to facetime.
"I miss you more my love." He says as his face appears on the screen making her grin. He is in his car, driving to go meet his siblings for a meeting. "Give Maisie a kiss for me."
"Always." She replies and sets her phone up on the counter. Killian's eyes glance at her before focusing on the road. "I'm thinking of taking Maisie to the zoo tomorrow."
"A mother daughter day huh" He says before cursing in another language as someone rudely cuts him off on the road.
"Yeah she's getting so big and I just don't want to miss a second." Brielle expresses as she ties her hair in a cute messy bun. She leans down to wash her face as she starts getting ready for the day.
"That's going to be fun baby." She hears him say before her phone dings with a notification. She looks at her phone to see Killian sent her three hundred dollars.
"Baby I don't need—" "Just take the money baby. I want to spoil my two favorite girls." Killian cuts her off as he stops the car. "I know you haven't working that much lately and I don't want you to spend all of your money."
That's true. She has stopped working. She took a little break from working to focus entirely on Maisie. The nightmares of her kidnapping still haunt Brielle Mae. She knows Killian took care of the people who took her but Brielle can't stop worrying that someone is going to take her daughter from her again.
The whole time they were on vacation, Brielle's worry was very visible. She was calling her parents every hour the first few days just to make sure Maisie is okay. Killian sensed her fears and worries which is why he didn't ask her why she stopped working because he already knows Maisie is the reason.
"I'm going to go back soon. I miss working." Brielle comments lowly. Killian looks down at his phone as he steps out of his car and shakes his head.
"Whatever makes you happy makes me happy babygirl. I don't care if you work or if you don't work. I have enough money to take care of us and generations down the line. The choice is all yours baby. What do you want to do?" His words causes Brielle Mae to pause and process. She looks down at her feet as she sighs softly.
In all honesty, Brielle didn't want to go back to work full time. She wants to work part time for the time being. The young woman loves to work but she knows that she never wants to be one of those moms who always works and misses her child's life. She wants to make sure to always be Maisie's number one supporter and be in her life a hundred percent.
"I want to work part time so I can see take care of Maisie primary."
"Then let's do it baby." Killian grins as he looks down at his phone. Brielle matches his smiles and bites her lip lowly. They continue to talk as Killian makes his way inside and into his office. His siblings haven't arrived yet so Killian sits down in his chair, continuing his conversation with Brielle Mae.

"If I ain't got nothing" Brielle sings as she dances around the kitchen. Sizzling salmon paired with 1 1 by beyonce playing through the speakers fill the room. "I got you"
Little Maisie giggles as she plays with her baby toys. "If I ain't got something." Brielle flips the salmon humming to the beat of the song. Beyoncé's voice serenading the two of them as Brielle prepares dinner. Tonight she is making bourbon salmon with rice and broccoli. "Cause I got it with you."
The clock reads six in the evening and Brielle is waiting on Killian who should be on his way home soon. He texted her thirty minutes ago that he would be home in a hour. Maisie already had her evening bottle and woke up from her afternoon nap two hours ago.
The young mother eyes close as she sings the next part. "I don't know much about algebra" Holding her finger up, Brielle nods her head. "One plus one equals two"
"Mmh" Maisie babbles as she chews on her toy, giggling to herself. "And it's me and you" Her mother walks over to her, leaning down to kiss her chubby cheeks.
Her daughter squeals in excitement, clapping her hands as she looks up at her mother. Brielle Mae lifts her in her arms and instantly attacks Maisie with kisses. "That's all we'll have with the world is through" Brielle whispers as she sways their bodies slowly.
"We ain't got nothing without love"
Brielle gasps as arms wrap around her and a kiss is placed on her cheek. The scent of Killian's cologne flooded Brielle's nose causing her to sigh in delight. "Darling you got enough for the both of us." She sings as the three of them sway to the beat of the song.
"Hi baby" The voice of Killian Drakos always sends Brielle Mae into a frenzy. The raspy and deepness of it makes her legs clench every time. "I missed you so much." He tells her as she turns around in his arms.
"I missed you my love." Their lips touch with a kiss as Brielle wraps her arms around Killian's neck. He steps closer to her, deepening the kiss as he grips her hips in his hands.
Maisie's baby babbling pulls them apart and Killian looks over at Maisie, grinning. "Hey little one." He lifts Maisie up and kisses her cheek causing her to squeal and clap her hands. He chuckles and places a kiss on her forehead as Maisie's eyes meet her mother's.
"Ugh soon she's going to be preschool." Brielle mutters, leaning against Killian. He side eyes her lowly and shakes his head with a small chuckle. "That's not for some years baby. You still got time with her." He tells her and Brielle sniffles with a small pout playing on her lips.
"They grow up so fast though. She was just a newborn not even being able to open her eyes yet and now she's saying mama and starting to eat real food." She expresses with a sad sigh leaving her mouth afterwards. "I just want her to stay my little baby forever."
"She's going to always be that no matter how big she gets." Killian wraps his other arm around Brielle's shoulders and kisses her forehead. Maisie pays them no mind as she busies herself with playing with Killian's chain. "She will always need her mama."
Brielle doesn't reply as she leans forward snd brushes her nose against Maisie making the little one giggle loudly. "Maamaaa" Brielle loves hearing her daughter call her mama so she is always trying to get Maisie to say it.
"Dinner will be ready soon." Brielle tells Killian as she steps away from him to check on her rice. Killian sets Maisie down and makes sure she's safe before walking back over to Brielle.
"It smells delicious baby." He says as he looks over her shoulder at the food she's preparing. "I'm going to go take a shower then we can eat."Brielle nods and he kisses her cheek before leaving the kitchen. She glances over at her daughter to see she is playing with her toes in playpen.
