Today's finally the day—the day I get to meet my daughters, my princesses.

I spoke to my parents yesterday about finding my girls and they're nothing but excited to meet them as well, especially mia madre [my mother] but I told them that they would have to wait. I want the girls to be comfortable around me first before they meet my parents let alone my extended family. It's crazy because I love them already and it's like they've melted part of my cold heart yet I haven't even met them yet.

Before I made my way to the park, I figured I would get them a few gifts before I did. I went to a jewelry store called Amato's Gioielli [Jewels] and got two stunning diamond necklaces that contained a few butterfly charms that only cost a couple million each. I ended up picking silver for both, the diamonds shined better in the sun.

"Grazie, Zio Elio [Thank you, Uncle Elio]." I said to the jeweler with olive skin and dark brown hair that held highlights of gray. I've known this man since I was a young boy. He used to be my fathers second in command when he was the Don but he retired when I took over and he built an empire, selling expensive ass jewelry. Now he and his wife, Bianca run this high-end jewelry store together.

"In qualsiasi momento nipote, ora vai a conoscere le tue bellissime figlie [Anytime Nephew, now go meet your daughters]." He winked as he smiled big, his crows feet visible. Your probably wondering how he knows about my daughters already and it's simply because in the mafia world word gets around quickly, especially if your my mother, who is really excited about having two more grandkids added to her plate.

I beamed for the first time in a long time in front of anyone connected to the mafia. If you know me, you know I never smile in front of anyone, not even my family. Simply because it helps me stay in control of everything, especially my emotions. I don't want anyone to catch me slipping, so my face always stays neutral, well at least it did until I found out about Bellamy and Bay. I've been smiling ever since I met their mother in that coffee shop.

Uncle Elio's face turned shocked at seeing me smile but quickly hid it. "Don't have to tell me twice." I laughed as I practically skipped out of the shop, almost looking like a crackhead who's finally had their fix after so long.

I headed to a toy store in my black Bugatti la voiture noire. I debated for a while before deciding to purchase two plush elephants, one of which was light brown and the other gray.

I checked my watch and realized that it was 2:09 in the afternoon and I needed to start heading to the park. I did not want to be late and set a bad first impression for not only my daughters but their mother as well. She needs to realize that I'm serious about building a relationship with Bellamy and Bay.

On my way there I got a text from Jordan.

Jordan Jenson

Hey, we're here. It should be easy to spot us, we're near the pond with a yellow blanket.

Okay, I'm four minutes away. I should be there soon.

After sending my last message, I definitely stepped on the gas pedal. I did not want to keep them waiting longer than they had to. I'm also an eager father who's excited to finally meet his princesses after five years of searching high and low for them.

I just pray this meeting goes well and that Bellamy and Bay will like me and hopefully grow to love me just as I love them already.

Giovanni arrived fairly quickly after I texted him because, as soon as the children and I had finished assembling the picnic—which included putting down the yellow blanket and the basket full of food—we noticed a luxurious ass black car parking.

Today's weather was thankfully warmer than others so I was able to wear a cute floral white dress with blue flowers while the girls wore matching outfits; black leggings paired with shirts that had lots of colorful butterflies on them. I also ended up braiding Bellamy's hair in two braids while Bay wanted one braid. She said she wanted to look like Elsa from the movie Frozen.

The twins and I were sitting on the blanket, I had Bellamy to my right, cuddled to my side and Bay on my left, doing the same. They were extremely anxious about today, Bellamy almost had another nervous breakdown but thankfully I quickly prevented it by putting on her favorite genre of music; r&b and we began to dance the nerves away, successfully distracting her from her worried thoughts.

Giovanni got out of his expensive car and boy did he look good. He wore a brown mid sleeve button down shirt that showed lots of his tattoos. He paired them with tan slim fitting trousers. He also had black shades and a silver watch as accessories to match. "Is that papá [daddy], mamá?" Bay whispered to me as I rubbed Bellamy's back with as much pressure as possible to calm her down. I could tell she was beginning to panic due to her breath becoming uneven.

"Yeah baby, that's your papá [dad]." I muttered back with a drool almost coming out of my mouth, though I had to quickly snap out of my daydream because before I knew it, he was standing in front of us, taking off his shades.

"May I sit?" He spoke with a friendly smile as I caught his eyes that were filled with curiosity, analyzing me and his kids.

"Please." I spoke as he sat across from us, giving him a friendly smile in return.

As he got settled, there was definitely an awkward silence in the atmosphere before he finally decided to speak up.

"Ciao principesse, sono vostro padre. So che non sono stato lì per te negli ultimi cinque anni, ma ti prometto che lo sarò ora e, spero, per sempre, se me lo permetterai. [Hello princesses, I'm your dad. I know I haven't been there for you for the past five years but I promise I will be now and hopefully forever if you'll let me].

Bay looked up at me for reassurance before she said anything back. I simply nodded my head as I rubbed her back as well. "You pinky promise?" Bay quietly spoke up for the first time as she looked up at her dad and held up her tiny pinky.

"I promise, my princess." He replied while he locked pinkies with Bay and they kissed their thumbs to seal the promise.

"Mommy calls us that too." Bay blushed. Bellamy just stayed silent curled to my side.

"Call's you what?" He asked curiously.

"Princess." Bay spoke in a 'duh' voice. I giggled from the slight attitude that Bay displayed in her voice. Giovanni must've found it funny too because his smile got even wider.

"So I'm guessing this one is Bay?" Giovanni asked with a slight chuckle as I nodded my head yes.

"Yep, that would be Bay, the sweet firecracker." I added with a giggle of my own.

"And you, my other princess, must be Bellamy?" Giovanni addressed Bell as Bellamy shyly untucked her head from my side and finally looked at her father for the first time.

Bellamy smiled shyly before nodding her head while still fidgeting with the rings on my fingers.

"I know this is new to you and it's definitely new to me but I promise you I'm gonna try to be the best papá. I won't push you to do anything you don't want to do. This is all going at y'all's pace." He explained to Bellamy but also some points to Bay.

Bell looked down at her fingers that were playing with my rings before she suddenly looked up at her papá. She didn't make eye contact, which is something she struggles to do unless it's my mother, Bay, or myself but she still addressed him.

"C-Can we pl-play on the sw-swings?" She stuttered out.

Giovanni smiled. His smile was radiant, lighting up his entire face with joy and warmth. He looked like a kid on Christmas Day. Gio looked up at me and asked a question that I very much appreciated.

"Do you mind if I take them to the playground?" He asked respectfully.

"No, not at all." I giggled happily. As soon as I gave the go ahead, he quickly stood up and the kids basically raced to the play area in excitement, ready to play with their papá for the very first time.

To avoid having the twins cling to my hip, I remained seated on the picnic blanket and allowed them to develop a bond without my presence. I watch them use the swings and then the slides. I watched Giovanni help the twins in using the monkey bars as he held them in the air, letting their hands grab each bar. They may have even played a few games of tag.

Not only were the girls happy but so was the big bad mafia boss. I knew then that I had made the right decision about telling the girls about their dad. I may have even shed a few tears.

They returned to the picnic blanket an hour later in search of a snack and drink break. I distributed water, fruit, and sandwiches to everyone that I had prepared earlier in the day. Following our meal, Gio went back to his car to retrieve something. The next thing I knew, he was telling me that he had bought the girls some presents, giving them matching necklaces and an elephant-shaped plush animal. Let's just say the girls not only fell in love with their new accessory and stuffed animal but they also fell in love with their dad.

'I hope they don't both become daddy's girls.' I joked in thought.

"Thank you, papá. I love them." Bay voiced as her eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Grazie [Thank you]." Bellamy smiled shyly as her eyes also held the same happiness as Bay.

Following the gift giving, the girls decided that they wanted us all to color so that's what we did. We got out our coloring books and colored together as I played a chilled playlist on a speaker that I got from the picnic basket. From the outside looking in, you would think we were a married couple with kids having the perfect picnic day.

After a while, I looked at the clock on my phone and realized we've definitely stayed longer than we were supposed to considering it's almost five in the afternoon. The girls were still in their element coloring together on one piece of paper with their dad and I could tell that they all didn't want to separate from each other, considering how much time has passed by without us all even realizing it.

"Hey girls, it's time to get ready to go home." I announced hesitantly.

"But I don't want to go home, mommy." Bay whines as Bellamy shook her head no at me.

"This won't be the only time you see your father, I pinky promise." I spoke gently as they both pouted, Giovanni included. They almost looked like triplets from how almost identical the twins were to their father. It was a funny sight to see.

I sighed because the puppy eyes from all three of them were irresistible. "Maybe your papá could join us for dinner?" I asked him indiscreetly at my suggestion.

"I would be happy too. Thank you for the invite." He beamed excitedly as they all cheered at the fact that we were all having dinner together.

We cleaned up our picnic and headed home with Giovanni right behind us.

This day will forever be in my heart and it's not even over yet.
